We are a dual purpose organization which saves animals from being destroyed because their days have expired and work with some of the animals to teach them to serve the public as a service dog. The daily feeding and caring for the animals has been a financial need which the President of the group (Shirley Lucas) has been financially supporting the animals but this robbery is causing us to lose the 13 acres it utilizes to practice its training of the personnel and dogs. My first ask is for myself... My name is Josh and i recently moved to kansas. The reason I'm asking for money is because my car, a 1999 Toyota Corolla, has a door with a MONSTROUS dent in the door, no door handle, and no driver side window to boot. With winter iminent and temperatures reaching below 12 degrees I will have no protection from the winter elements. That is if the car even makes it that long. It is starting to run terribly and has 245,000 miles on it. Anything will help.

My family is living up there working as missionaries to try and help the Lakota people help themselves through way of our Lord Christ. I have two little girls. My oldest is from my first marriage. We both have an order of protection against him and we moved to another county within the same state to live with my husband who is in the military and is station upstate, NY. When I recently was pregnant with my second daughter my mom would take my oldest to her visitations, however couldn't bring my daughter back to my house for weeks. Her father also was trying to convince her that I'm a bad person. This started to damage my daughter's relationship with me. She is also starting Pre-k school and I need a used car. I love her so much and I really need to be the one to take her to her visits, school, doctor’s appointment, because no one will be able to do so. Not even my husband for my second daughter. I need a car; my friend is willing to sell her car by the first week of September for $1600.00. The only thing is I do not have the money and I wouldn't qualify for a loan. With this car I would be able to go back to work and continue on to obtain a master’s degree, take care of my girls and take them to their appointments or school. This is my last hope. This car would be the beginning of better days to come for me and my girls if only I had $1600. I really, really need help, I really need the money. I’m so sorry for being a bother.

Okay this is awkward, but there is a time in everyone's life where we need to swallow our pride and ask for help. Our family has lost 3 special and very important people in our lives over the past year. This has been a tragic year that has caused heart ache and pain and severe financial burden. Throughout the tragedies, my health took a dive and have been recently terminated from my professional position due to health reasons, and the limitations of FMLA protection. Due to the unforeseen circumstances we are forced to relocate from Florida to Colorado to live with family to restart our lives. We are begging for assistance .. and not because we lack from trying! We are selling 99.9% of our furniture (except for the sentimental pieces) and we are attempting to get our vehicle up to par to travel the long distance. We are looking for financial help for tires, tune-up, tow & hitch installations, a trailer, gas money, etc. Please, anything will help. (spammers, for once .. please do not waste our time sending me letters saying that I have inherited money .. carma is one bad chic)

My family has fallen on some hard times recently. First, I cut my thumb and had to have 4 stitches put in, which wouldn't have been so bad except they made me take two weeks off of work since it wasn't a work related injury. They used all my vacation time, which wasn't nearly enough to cover the two weeks off. Then right after that my husband had to have oral surgery due to an abscessed tooth. He had to have all his top teeth removed and all but 7 of his bottom teeth. Our insurance didn't pay for all of it and we had to come up with half last week and the other half this week which was about $500. I wrote them a check for the first half, which bounced at the bank. I have overdraft protection so the check was paid but my account is now overdrawn 169.00. My husband has to go back to the dentist tomorrow to get his dentures adjusted and we owe the other half, which we don't have. Our water was shut off, and my husband went back outside after they left and turned it back on illegally because he has to have water to wash out his mouth. Our rent which is $700 is due, our phone is getting ready to be shut off next, and I wrote a $160 check at the surgeon's today knowing that I didn't have the money in there but I feel I didn't have a choice, he had to get the surgery. His abscessed tooth could have killed him! The car loan company is also hounding us for our payment but they have to take a number and wait in line! We almost out of food in the house as well. I went to a local church to try to get help with our bills but I was told their services were only for poor people who don't have jobs. We try to work and pay our bills and do the right thing, but sometimes you just fall on hard times ya know? If you can find it in your heart to help a complete stranger, we would be forever grateful and once we are back on our feet we would find some way to repay you. We need about $2000 to get us back to where we need to be to survive this month. Thank you!

My fiance and I lost our jobs, unable to get unemployment, filling out applications at every available place in town with no luck ro get hired. The utility bills and rent come due the first of this month and we have even been selling everything that we own, including my engagement ring, our t.v., some of our clothes, etc. We have even tried working for some family friends for some money but that only covered one of the bills..we are so desperate and are young and do not want to get evicted or get our utilities shut off. We are even enrolled in the discounted shut off protection plan for our utilities and cannot even afford the 55.00 a month for electric. Our rent is 395 and we are just exasperated and overwhelmed at what is going to happen to us if we cannot come up with at least that. Dear Sirs,

Beg your help to save my life

I am 53 years old businessman from tiny island of Sri Lanka. I started my business in 2007 after retiring from a leading solid rubber manufacturing company (Trelleborg Lanka PVT LTD Swedish own company) where I worked as the manager procurement for good 13 years. I am B.Sc graduate and diploma holder of rubber and plastic product manufacturing.

At the beginning my business, natural rubber processing industry was a success. I even renovated whole plant which was more than 50 years old and purchased two trucks to transport raw materials and finished goods to and from my facility. My trouble started in latter part of 2008 due to global economic down turn. Prices of our finished product, processed natural rubber ( Brown crepe ) declined rapidly in a space of few days thereby incurring heavy losses. Somehow I did managed to dragged my business till 31st march 2009 despite heavy losses. I provided 55 direct employment for very poor peasants in rubber growing area in Sri Lanka.

Due to heavy debt and pressure from my creditors I had to close down the factory and sold it out at very low price to settle my workers dues and some debt. I even had to handed over my vehicles to leasing company due to my failure to settle due installments in time

Ultimately I ended up with Rs. 8.5 million loss ( Approximately US$. 85,000) . Now I lost whole my earning for past years. Some of my creditors filed court cases against me. Some are putting pressure on me to settle their dues. They even posing death threats . I have been mentally and physically abused by my creditors everyday since closer of my plant. Police at the complain of my creditors may arrest me for default. Now I am in dilemma. I need police protection for safety of my life from death threats. At the same time police want me to settle my creditors debt as some cheque issued to creditors were dishonored.

I do not have any saving except my provident fund. After toiling hard for last 30 years, I earned around 3.5 million rupees ( approximately US$. 35,000) . At maturity, when I turn 55 it will be Rs. 4 million. I will get around Rs. 1.5 million as inheritance after selling of my parent properties (House where I live now. My share is 1/6 of the total value). Those wealth can be accessible only after another two years.

As I do not have fixed income nowadays, I am unable to overcome my difficulties without help of charity or donation. Legal expenses and my medical expenses aggravate my misery. My life now totally depend on sympathy of my age old friends. One provide shelter and the others provide meals. Now I am like a beggar although do not beg on the roadside.

I wrote several letter to relevant government organizations for compensation or bailout package, but nobody looked at it as government in short of money for that kind of compensations. I wrote to parliamentary ombudsman as well. All were in vein. Local red cross society replied to my request saying that they do not have mandate to give financial help to individual although my case is worthwhile to be considered.

Although I have taken all the insurance covers needed for our industry, like workmen compensation, fire. Flood, storm and tempest , burglary, personal accident, consequence lost cover could not be obtained due to nature of our industry. I put forward claim for US$. 75,000 but was not entertained due to nature of our industry.

I am looking for a help to settle my debt and restart a business. I can offer my EPF and inheritance as security. But those would be matured only after 2 years. House can be sold out only after flood situation due to unplanned development is permanently arrested by local government in our area. Otherwise a buyer can not be found. Hey everybody, my name is Justin. To start things off, I'll be honest and direct. I made the really dumb mistake of playing some backyard football without any mouth protection about 5 months ago.

So, needless to say, I chipped both of my front teeth really bad as I was making an attempt to tackle my brother. They are bad enough chips that I was advised I should get two crowns to fix my dental situation.

With all of that being said, I have no income at the moment. I was laid off from my previous job last week, and am now waiting to hear back from the Unemployment Office to see if I qualify for unemployment benefits.

I've honestly been hiding my smile for the past 5 months, I won't let anyone see it because it looks that bad. Whenever I'm hanging out with friends and family, I hide it. I don't even laugh in front of anyone else in fear that they will see my smile.

I was very ill at the end of pregnancy due to acute Eclampsia so she was born early emergency c-cection, flight for lifed to Childrens Hospital in Denver and I stayed in ICU for the first week.. Keep in mind due to circumstances I never was able to see or touch my daughter before they airlifted her to Denver.. Finally one week later my doctor gave me a two hour pass to beable to go to Denver and meet my new daughter for the very first time.. Words can't tell what I felt and the emotions I was feeling.. I still tear up recounting the events.. But yes after many tears, fear of touching or holding her due to her size and all that was hooked up to her I did finally get courageous enough to hold my new born daughter after a week for the first time.. Love at first sight! Chills are still going through my body as I write this.. Anyway's over time she improved and became much stronger. She was small but mighty. I was finally released from the hospital myself and spent all my time with her at Childrens Hospital until release day.. Brought her home at 3 lbs. 12 oz and had the ultimate baby learning/motherly instincts. With 4 yrs. of twice weekly physical therapy she grew out of her challenges, and has grown into an way above average intellence, beautiful nine yr. old.. Thank you God!!!

My next challenges were none to fun at all! My marriage became rocky.. He became abusive physically, emotionally and mentally.. After about the last 3 yrs. becoming so bad and scary I could not deal with his abuse or allow my daughter seeing such activity. So with that said I asked him to leave our home. He would not leave without a police escort, but finally was gone nonetheless.. I am NOT pro divorce at all so after the initial anger callmed down I did go to him asking him to please do counceling with me and let's really try to work this all out. He REFUSED! So after being with my ex husband twelve years we finally did divorce.. =(

Right after the divorce at the age of 30, I was rushed to the ER and diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure. I was in ICU for over one week and spent several months at home on oxygen. But now since the divorce I was dropped from his insurance so I am unable to have the cardiovascular care needed and a heart valve repaired.. But I have faith one day I will beable to have this delt with.. Gotta believe!

Next was really NOT PLANNED or wanted but happened. I finally met a young man whom I started spending much time with. Due to my heart and lack of insurance I was not on birth control but did use condoms with him. Unfortunately a condom did break and yes I did become pregnant.. Three day's before Christmas last year I misscarried the baby and spent two day's in hospital due to D&C and my heart. I was released at Christmas and had a hard time dealing with the hormones, lack of support from the young man, failure in my parents eyes ect.. Just plain and simple was a hard time for me emotionally but I NEVER once let my daughter know of this and still have not to this day. She does not need to be scared any further than what she has already in life.

Now we come to current events.. Swear I have let my life become a soap opera and should right a what not to do and how to survive book for women.. sighhhhh.... Anyways. After being single for nearly a year and of course wishing I could meet a nice (preferably) Christian boy to date and enter into a relationship with a man whom I have known for several years who was a family friend while I was married came back into my life. This time he showed strong romantic gestures and over time did finally earn some trust n love with me. We entered into a relationship and it felt safe and comfortable since I'd known him so long, family new him and my daughter new him well already too..
I finally started becoming happier and was slowly gaining a little self confidence, and believing that things will end up working out finally afterall.. (Keep in mind due to lack of insurance and Heart Failure I was still not allowed on birth control pills like I wanted) we of course used protection always. But two times the condom came off in me.. I hoped all would be fine and I would not become pregnant, not at all wanting to repeat my first ordeal I had with my daughter plus now with my Congestive Heart Failure on top of it all pregnancy would NOT be good! I went to a local clinic and talked to a female doctor there and begged her if there would be anyway I could qualify for any free birth control that would not hinder my CHF.. Finally I had good news.. =) She said she would see if I could qualify for the low hormone Miranna and if I did she would implant it in my uterous for free.. This was to last for five years.. Yes one positive answered prayer. I went to my doctors oppt. as sheduled, they had me do an UA to make sure I was not pregnant before insertion and preped me for the procedure. Right before the Doctor was to do procedure the nurse came into the room and notified both of us that indeed I was pregnant.. My head swirled with confusion, fear, stress ect.. After talking to my doctor briefly about it, my history ect. I left the office and proceeded to go to my boyfriend to update him of the current events.. At the very beginning he sounded happy and positive, even eased my mind a little but about two day's later he up and left me. I have had my first ultrasound and as of yet the baby is alive and well. Strong heart beat. I am nearly two months pregnant, doctor took me off all my heart meds. due to baby. Still no insurance, applied for Medicade which really saddened me that I was at a point I had to do this.. Very humbling to say the least, and am alone, confused, many urging me to abort the baby but remember I am Christian and this is a hard concept for me to accept.. Currently unemployed, single mother, pregnant, no father support, lonely, desperate and really beginning to feel hopeless.. There is a high probability that the acute Eclampsia could repeat itself again as it did with my daughter and now I'm older than before. Not 23 anymore now I'm 32 with Congestive Heart Failure and Hypertension. Trying to support my nine year old the best I can and now so worried and fearful of what is to come.. Christmas just happened and it so did not feel like Christmas to me. Not much I could do for my daughter or my loved ones. I'm so scared of what the near future holds and how I will beable to deal with it, and be healthy enough to continue taking care of my nine yr. old. Need a good job but kinda feel it would be hard since I am so high risk I have MANY constant dr. visits. Neonatal parnatologist, my OB, and supposed to find a cadiologist as well to monitor me.. Medicade pending but no answer if they would accept me yet, bills piling up, and feeling out of control totally of my life right now.. Sad and confused that bf left me too.. I'm praying sooooo hard daily, nightly, looking on internet for at home jobs I could do but most end up seeming like scams, keep going to church in order to help try to keep me grounded and keep the faith that somehow it will all work out.. I sure hope I have not bored you to death, some may be pretty disgusted by my mistakes and situation, but I do hope nonetheless that maybe even just one person actually found this post, read it through, and maybe just maybe is in a posistion of life that they could and would be willing to help me out a little.. The whole "Pay it forward" campaign.. I fully believe in that and fully believe what goeas around comes around..
