Desperate to support my family.

Posted by tigaaarrr on 2012-03-20 05:58:45

Hi all, i really dont want to bore anyone with desperate pleas so i will attempt to give everyone an outine of my situation and just hope someone can find it in their heart to help.
In short i was forced to leave work when i was abandoned by my wife, who left me with my young daughter, as a single father.
Now i have found a new, wonderful partner, who is about to give birth to our new miracle.
Unfortunatly, after being diagnosed with a degenerative issue with my spine, i am unable to continue work in the normal way.
Having these issues and refusing to give up, i looked for a profession that would allow me to still work to support my new family and get back on our feet with the bills that have built up over the years of being unable to work and (more importantly) allow me to offer help to others in return.
This opportunity i found in the form of Hypnotherapy, an option to allow me to get back into workand not suffer the usual pain and also allow me to offer help to many more people.
Unfortunatly, in order to allow me to do this i need to raise £2500 in order to go to college and get myself qualified and finally get back on my feet by opening my own business in aiding others with their issues.
If you could find it in your heart to help me support my family and help others in the process, then id be exceptionally gratefull.

Sallie Mae is killing me!

Posted by 6ewApp on 2012-03-04 18:58:22

I have over $50,000 in student loan debt, mostly from Grad school (Masters degree is required in my profession.) I have faithfully made payments on my loans ever since the in-college deferment wore off. But paying $500 a month on my loans is killing me. I am a single professional adult who is just trying to be a positive member of society. I have not and will not file for bankruptcy (my mother would disown me), I do not use any government subsidies, and I am drug free (my mom would kill me then disown me at the funeral/prison).

I recently went through a natural disaster and lost everything I own. I have gotten my house back to livable, but can't afford to save money for more improvements because of these horrendous payments!

I'm drowning in debt and unless someone helps me, I'll be drowning for 18 more years!

Please keep me from being on the cold streets

Hello my name is Richard. A little about me. I am 37 yo/male living in WI USA and in need of help to pay for my rent. I moved to WI from TX in hopes of starting a better life for myself. I thought the person I that had offered me a place to stay until spring was going to be true to their word. Unfortunately that was not the case. The job I had at the time was one just a temp job to help enable me to contribute while I was staying with them and allow me to look for one within my profession. I was abruptly told that I had 3 weeks to leave their house before I would be removed. This was someone that I had known for well over 11 years and never thought something like that would happen. These were the only people I knew in the sate. At the time I had been working the temp job for a little over 2 months and at the rate I was making with the company there was little to know way I would be able to pay for deposits much less rent of a small apartment in the area. But with that I set out to make it happen somehow. So I continued the temp job and took other additional small jobs, fix it type things for extra cash. I was able to make the deadline and move into my own place which was actually best for me anyways.

I continued to work at the temp job but in doing so ended up getting continual and worsening respiratory infections due to the very poor air quality. I never intended to stay there for this long but with little time to devote to my job search within my profession I had no other choice. Months went by and the condition simply got worse. I was told by my doctor that I needed to find some other line of work and get out of the horrible work environment that I was working in as I was getting very close to pneumonia. Two weeks later it happened. I was out of work for the following 2 weeks. During that time I was forced to make the decision to leave the job and quit. This was very tough for me as I am not a quitting type what so ever. I had been raised to stick it out. But due to a medical condition that I have I simply cannot do that, for risk of compounding the issue.

So now here I am. I am a month late with my rent and facing eviction. I have no family or friends to lean on for help. I am currently enrolling to further my education to be a professional driver which will assure my future but for now I still need my apartment. My rent is $660 per month. I need to be able to cover February and March rent or I will end up being evicted which at that point will have no place to go but find a place (during winter) out on the street. So I plead with you to please find a place in your heart and help me with my problem. Doing this is so tough for me. I have never had assistance like this in my life. I have always been the one to do it on my own. This time however I simply cannot do it without help from you.

Please.

God Bless.

Please help save my home for me and my 3 year old daughter

Posted by homehelp on 2012-01-30 11:58:23

Hi to all! I have never had to do anything like this. In fact I have always been the one to help others. I was in the medical profession until medical issues and the down turn in the economy forced the loss of my job. I have been doing everything I can to keep my home afloat for my daughter and I but I fear my end is near unless I can get some help. I need about $50,000.00 to keep my home so if anyone out there can help me save my home I will do everything I can to help others save theirs. I am now working fulltime but the mortgage company wants back money to do some of the modification on my loan which I dont have. All my savings are gone and I have no family to ask for help. My daughter is a sweet little three year old who doesnt deserve this happening to her at such a young age. Please give us a chance. I love you for helping us. All the best!

Why i should like to be a medical doctor

Posted by Usman01 on 2012-01-25 01:58:36

I just finish my secondary education and i should like to study medicine in the university. I have nursed this ambition right from childhood. I can remember when i was ill and i was taken to a hospital when i was seven years old. I was fascinated by the activities and hospitality of the doctor who took care of me on my sick bed. He so much endeared himself to me that, there and then, i decided to study medicine when i grow up.
Medicine, as a profession, commands great respect anywhere in the world. Medical doctors are respected for being hospitable and kind. They are kind to their patients whom they tend like seedlings which must not be allowed to die. A medical doctor cannot afford to be unkind or cruel to his patients as to allow his patients to suffer. He must be genial, good-natured, hospitable and must have a good disposition towards his patients.
Furthermore, medicine is a business of saving lives. This make the profession to be regarded as the most noble profession in the whole world. If there were no doctors, many lives would be lost on daily basis. Doctors are professionals with adequate knowledge of all parts of human body and one cannot but be proud of belonging to such a profession. Doctors serve and contribute to humanity more than any other professional in the whole world.
In addition to this, the medical profession is one of the most lucrative professions in the world. It gives practitioners the opportunity to work for the government in the government hospital and at the same time engage in private practice. Therefore it gives the practitioners the privilege to establish their own private hospital and clinics thereby making it possible for them to make a lot of money.
Moreover, the medical profession gives one the opportunity to meet a lot of people. It makes one to be influential and popular because as a medical doctor, many people would want to be associated with you. A patient whom you have treated in the hospital would always remember how you help him and his family would forever be grateful to you. All these make a medical doctor or practitioner popular and influential in the society. Many people would want to respect him and his opinion on any matter in the society.
Lastly, a medical practitioner with a stethoscope hanging on his neck is always a good sight to behold. This has also endeared me greatly to the profession and i have a dream of hanging the identifying instrument of the profession on my neck in the nearest future. Medical doctors are always neat and they look resplendent in their white overall coat. This makes them respectable and the profession dignified.
Of course, i know what it takes to become a medical doctor and i am ready to do all it takes to belong to the medical profession. That is why i write to seek for your financial assistance to enable me actualize my childhood dream, a dream of becoming a medical doctor.
You're the last i can depend on because my parents are no more alive since when i was six years old. Your help will do a lot of good to my entire life.

Good person in bad times. Need money, but mostly prayers.

Posted by tomqwerty0 on 2011-12-01 19:58:38

I don't really like asking others for help because I have always thought I could do things on my own. I learned that this is just not true, at least for myself. I learned this by fighting my addiction to pain medications. I tried to quit countless times with out help and was unsuccessful. Close to death I went to treatment for my addiction in May of 2010. I stayed the recomended 90 days and chose to stay an additional 5 months. The good news is that I was able to do it with help. I just had to be willing to ask for it. I am now trying to get back to my job in the pharmacy feild. As you may guess, there are a lot of hurdles to jump with my situation and feild of my profession, but I truly enjoy it and think I am good at it. Hopefully I will be able to go back to work within the next year. Until I do, I could greatly use any support and prayers I could get. Thank you

Being here is a surprise

Living in my car is a dead end street...kinda hard to do anything from there. I will be forever grateful for any help you can provide...thank you very much.

Injuried at work, trying to finish school...

Posted by tobopizza on 2011-06-29 10:58:31

Hello, I am a 49 year old married, father of 5 beautiful children, ages 5-11 years old. Back in 2009 I had a great job as a route sales representative and everything was going along smoothly in our lives. Until one day while at work I bent down and tore my left medial meniscus in my knee. I suffered for 8 months before my surgery, till workers compensation settled everything.
I returned to work after 12 weeks and was able to perform my duties for around 13 weeks till my knee finally had enough. The doctor put some permanent restrictions on me of which my company could not accommodate.
I needed a profession that would supply for my family, plus one in which I was able to execute without any problems from my knee. So I looked towards the medical field. In September 2010, I embarked in a course of Diagnostic Sonography. I am getting ready to go into the meat of the program this fall, but now my workers compensation case has took a turn for the worse. It looks like the benefits will soon be subsiding and with the program I am in it will take about 60 hours or more per week . I am at my wits end trying to figure out what I can do to supply for my family and still accomplish schooling that will help us in the future. I have about 2 years of school left.
Some may say, “Why does not your wife go get a job”? My reply is always what are we to do with the children? The only family we have in the area is my mother who is 80 and in bad health. To pay a sitter would be quite expensive. So we are at a lost for what to do.
We student loans, but that isn’t enough to pay the bills. Also we don’t have any bills other than living expenses like rent and utilities; we don’t have credit cards or auto loans.
Any gift would be greatly appreciated, and the only thing I can give in return is a thank you and a prayer.
Thanks for all your concern,
James presley

I would like to tell you a story that relates to why I am asking for help.
My father was a Vietnam vet who proudly enlisted into the army to serve his country. After willingly serving two tours of duty, he came home and married my mother (his high school sweetheart) and started a family consisting of me and my two older sisters.
When I was four, my father began experiencing difficulties with his legs and feet. After many unsuccessful operations, it was determined that he was losing the bone density in his legs and he was put in a wheelchair.
My father was an amazing man; he never let his being in a wheelchair keep him down. He climbed Pike's Peak twice and Mount Evans once in his wheelchair, one of his climbs was filmed by a local TV show in Colorado called P.M. Magazine. We have the video footage on beta and are trying to find a way to convert it to DVD. I would love to share his story with anyone wanting to watch it. It shows what a courageous man he was. It was a heartbreaking climb over rough terrain and sometimes he had to strap his wheelchair to his ankles and drag it while he scooted up steep inclines on his backside. It never deterred him. He had more strength and determination than any man I have ever met in my life. He also ran marathons in his wheelchair and spoke to other handicapped and disabled individuals to help them realize that although someone may be hindered, it just means that they learn to function differently. "I may be in a wheelchair, but the wheelchair isn't in me," he used to say.
In 1987, when I was 12, the harsh weather conditions of Colorado became unbearable for my father and we moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico.
My father was never granted disability in Colorado or New Mexico and while he fought for 30 years for his pension from the Army, he never received that either (the common story of we can't seem to find your files even though my father repeatedly submitted his paperwork to show his contribution to our country). As a result, my mother found herself working 2 full time jobs just to support us and we still barely made ends meet.
We grew up poor our entire lives, but we understood what it was like to be rich in other ways. Our family was close and we knew that, no matter how rough things could be at times, that we really did have each other. My sisters and I grew very close over the time when we had no electricity and only had each other to listen to because we didn't have the power for television and radio. We are still very close to this day. I will never regret how we grew up, even with the struggles, because it was the foundation of who we are today. We all learned how to be kind and unselfish and value each other. Both my sisters and I all have our own children and work hard to instill the same values in them.
In 2000, my father was diagnosed with lung cancer as a result of being subjected to Agent Orange while in Vietnam. The tumors were visible in both lungs and nothing could be done. He passed away one week after the diagnosis. We had no time to prepare and certainly no time to say goodbye.

My mother now lives in PA in a cute little Amish town. She has since remarried a wonderful man named Jack. He is also a Vietnam veteran.

My sisters and I still live in New Mexico with our families, although my heart is definitely on the east coast with my mother.
A short time after my mother moved to PA, she got a
job as a nurse. She loved helping other people as she had done all her life. Unfortunately, she suffered a fall that left her with permanent neck and spinal injuries. After going through her own numerous surgeries, she was unable to continue the work that she loved so much. The tables have turned from when we were growing up where she was the only source of income and Jack has been the sole provider for the last several years.
Recently, Jack began to feel very ill and it looks like the effects of Agent Orange have done their damage once again. He is suffering from skin cancer and stage 4 prostate cancer and after going through a series of tests, the probability of also having lymphoma is very high. My mother is going through the same horror once again and while my sisters and I are grown, losing a father to Agent Orange for the second time isn't easy on the heart.
A few years ago, my mother lost both parents and her only sibling, a brother, in the span of four months. She has nobody and I can't bear to leave her alone while she suffers physically and emotionally.
Unfortunately, I lost my job a couple months ago due to layoffs and have had extreme difficulty finding another source of income. Las Cruces is a small city with very limited opportunity. While I worked in the same profession for the past 11 years, I have applied for any and every type of job I could find.
We are struggling to find a way to move close to my mother so that I can take care of her and so she won't be alone if she loses Jack. My sisters and I are the only family she has left and I want nothing more than to be there for her.

I am hoping to find a job there very quickly and I would also love to attend schooling and get my degree in forensics. It has been a dream of mine to be able to assist in solving crime related cases. I firmly believe that I can accomplish my career goals and help my mother if I were in a state with far more job opportunities.
We have never been comfortable financially and my 2 teenage boys understand what it is like to do without the things they want in exchange for just the things they need, much like my sisters and I when we were growing up. I have always wanted more for my kids than to see them grow up here in a high poverty state. I believe the job opportunities and schooling for them will be equally beneficial. They both already have career minded goals that will take them farther in a bigger state.

It has been 4 years since I've seen my mother as neither of us can afford the expense of a trip.

All I am requesting is enough assistance to be able to move my family closer to my mother and locate a house to rent while I search for a job. I am only asking for short term support as I know that I am capable of supporting my own family and I am certain that I will be able to find gainful employment in a short time.

Single father needs help

Posted by Redaction on 2011-05-20 15:58:26

I lost my job end of Feb 2011. I am a single father and live in Florida. While Florida is number 3 in the country in "unemployment", the county I reside "Pinellas" is number 1 in the state of Florida.

I have started a business selling computer software training solutions and my target audience is any "Information Technology" professionals in the field needing continuing education or wanting to get certifications.

The "information Technology" field is continually growing and will be around for a long time. With technology always changing, for example newer versions of Windows, training is a necessity for survival in this profession.

I am looking for some capital to help launch this opportunity. I am looking for about $10,000 to assist me in developing this business as well as being able to pay my bills and not exhaust what little savings I have.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I heard about this site and figured, nothing ventured nothing gained. I hate to ask for anything however, based on the facts above on the "unemployment" in Florida, I felt compelled to try this. I am not too sure I have any expectations, however, you never know. Hence, here I am asking for help embarrassingly so.

If the organization you represent, has any "information Technology" professionals, perhaps we could discuss my training solutions for your team

I can provide any documentation as to the credibility of this business and web sites if contingent on receiving said assistance.

Any help what so ever would be so appreciated and welcomed and I will thank you exponentially from the bottom of my heart.

Help with Life, I have invention I can negotiate with

Posted by stank on 2011-03-26 09:58:07

Good day to you. I appreciate you reading this post. I am in dire straights and in need of help. Life has really hit me hard as of late and don't have any one to turn too. I used to own a business but because of economic circumstances had to sell it. I tried to get unemployment but was denied because I was self employed, ha ya self employed. I mean what does that have to do with anything.I AM AN AMERICAN IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE AND HAVE PAID INTO THE US OF A FOR YEARS AND YEARS. I had to sell my home and basically lost everything. I just need some help to get on my feet. I want to start a new business and I also have an invention I am going to patent soon. At the same time I need to feed my family in the mean time. Its so amazing, I have 16 years experience in my profession and can't find a single employer that will hire me. I don't understand the hiring practices of companies today. Especially these so called head hunter type companies that turely have their best interest at heart. I feel like I am in the twilight zone. As I stated earlier, I have an invention idea that is going to, well, I know I am biased, ha but its going to make a bunch of money. I could partner with someone or sell part of the royalties, and even cut you into my business if I had the perfect amount donated. Anyway, thank you again and hope we might be able to work something out.

Sincerely,

Help Me Please

Business failed, money gone, no options for the future

Posted by MikeJ on 2010-12-09 11:58:58

I never thought I'd find myself doing this. I've always been on the other side of the equation, donating to others in need. I have worked in consruction for most of my adult life, I'm now 58, and the daily wear and tear had caused arthritis to develope in my legs. Rather than continue in that profession and end up on disability and burden my fellow taxpayers with supporting me, I took the decision to start my own business building stringed instruments. I cashed in my retirement plan to get it started but regretably it's been a dismal failure. I've gone through all my funds, sold my truck, the next thing to go will be the house and most likely my marriage. I joined this site out of desperation, any help would be greatly appreciated. Mike

Please Help Me Pay Back...Desperate

Posted by heatherrae on 2010-11-28 11:58:58

I am a single 27 year old licensed counselor living in Appalachia Ohio...in a very enpoverished area, where pay is horrible but the work is greatly needed for what i do with children, teens, and their families. I am a trauma therapist and have been for 3 years now, which i enjoy very much. However, the greedy loan companies refuse to work with me and lower my payments, knowing that i live in an enpoverished region of Ohio. I drive a used car and live in a studio (basement) apartment...i dont own anything that is mine.

The only thing that i have ever wanted is to be able to help people in my job and pay my bills. Please help me pay my student loans back, so i can continue working in a profession that i love....thank you!

Aspiring Teacher and Molder of Minds

Hi All!

I'm studying to be a high school teacher and working towards my credential. With student teaching and other obligations, it's nearly impossible to work since they require a full-time student teaching commitment. In addition, I have several years of school loans to pay off in addition to current tuition to cover. My overall school bills are in the ballpark of $35,000 and growing.

I know some of you out there will hopefully feel that teaching is a noble enough to profession to support and will hopefully have a generous enough heart to help me get to where I can change the lives of students in the classroom.

I greatly appreciate your support, because, without it I would likely not be able to finish the necessary schooling to make becoming a teacher a reality!

Andrew

A Father's Plea

I live in Miamisburg Ohio with my wife and four young children. The youngest of which was just born on August 26th, 2010. As I write this message, I can't help but feel a wave of guilt and a sense of failure wash over me, because of the intent that this message is being sent. It is, boiled down to it's essence, simply electronic panhandling.....nothing more nothing less.

My wife and I are both college educated and employed, but find ourselves still living paycheck to paycheck. We are not poor and are not in desperate need, there are many hundreds of thousands of others that need more than us, but I can feel the weight of financial burden crushing down upon my shoulders. I do not wish to be rich, famous, or otherwise well off. But I do want to provide for my family, and to have the luxury of enjoying the day to day moments without the fear of financial uncertainty always looming overhead.

I would like to offer a glimpse into our family lives and finally get to the heart of this email....the begging. My wife holds a Master's degree and is employed as a Teacher in the Miamisburg City School district. She teaches a class of moderately to severe multiple-handicapped children. I honestly do not have a clue how she manages to do what she does. She is consistently given the most severely mentally and physically handicapped children because she has a way of reaching these children and getting more out of them than anyone thought possible. I can't count the number of times I've seen her crying as she reads an email from a parent of one of her students as the parent thanks her because they have been able to witness their child smiling and playing in the same manner as his or her typical peers would do. She truly is my hero for the gracious way that she treats these children with kindness and respect even as she comes home every day after being thrown up on, bitten, spit at, urinated on, or any other number of things that happen on a daily basis because of the severe nature of these kids' disabilities.

As for myself, my profession is not nearly as noble as my wife's, I do hold a Bachelor's degree in Material Science and Engineering. I work for a company that does research into air breathing supersonic combustion.

We have four young children, an 8 year old daughter, 5 year old son, 2 year old daughter, and a new baby boy who is only a week old.

This is the part of the message that pains me to write, and I'm not even sure how to go about it. I'm far from an eloquent wordsmith as it is, so to figure out an articulate way to beg for help, is a tough task. So, I'll just be direct and to the point. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated, but the magic number that I am asking for is $60,000. That is approximately the amount that my wife and I owe in student loans for the educations that we have received. This would relieve a large amount of debt that we have accrued while trying to better ourselves and provide for our families. We don't have any other credit card debt due to extravagant overspending, as we have always tried to live within our means.

We are middle America, and we ask for your help!

Thank you for your time, and I hope that this message finds you and your family well

Donating $1 can actually change someone's life for...

Donating $1 can actually change someone's life for the better. Many postings on this site may sound false or unbelievable from people just looking for an easy way out, but if you continue reading, you will understand that this posting is actually sincere and worth the time spent reading.

About two years ago, I began a new profession of teaching English to those of other languages. It has been a rewarding and fruitful experience, but as you may know, teachers do not get paid a high salary especially those teaching abroad to foreign students.

For those unfamiliar with ESL/TEFL (English as a Second Language/Teaching English as a Foreign Language) it allows Native speakers like myself to spread the knowledge of English for those who wish to learn it in their home countries. I have been a Certified ESL/TEFL/TESOL Instructor since 2007 and it has been an enjoyable experience. As you may know, teachers in general do not get paid a high salary and ESL Teachers are paid even less. Being an ESL Teacher often means long hours of work for little pay and travelling to multiple destinations in one day to teach a variety of students. ESL Teachers do not expect to become rich teaching English, they do it for other reasons. I do it for C.A.R.E., four major reasons:

C-Cultures, infusing cultures and learning of yourself with others.

A-Achievement,knowing you have taught someone something in which they can use.

R-Results, the English they learn can be used to advance them in today's global economy.

E-Enrichment, providing a service in which communication can bring people together for years to come.

I am currently teaching in Ukraine, but I have a new teaching job opportunity in a new country that I would like to get to. Not only for the chance of teaching new students in a new culture, but a tremendous demand for language schools which in could turn into a what I have been hoping to do, opening my own language center. I have been planning this for months as the academic year was coming to a close at my current school, what I didn't plan for was my school not fulfilling their obligations in the contract for a year end completion bonus. This completion bonus was a major part of my relocation funds. Even though the summer has past and I continue to work towards my goal, it seems the end is moving farther away at a greater rate of speed than which I am going.

I am not asking for one individual to give the entire amount or pay the relocation expense, but only a small donation. Even if it is the cost of the average fast food meal, it will be greatly appreciated. If everyone just tells one friend and they donate, small donations can be very powerful.

Please visit my website at www.worldestiny.com (currently disabled, please feel free to visit the free web hosting site at http://worldestiny.freetzi.com) and see for yourself. Before my website was disabled it was ranked in the TOP 30 in Google search results for learning English online. I would like to keep it running and eventually open my own learning center. I offer educational games and learning activities among other things for students and teachers. I am just an honest person trying to create a better world through education, one student at a time.

As you can see, I am not simply begging for money or making a story for you to read. But, in reality, a way to help more people other than just myself.

I appreciate your time in reading my request. Thank you.
