I owe the mortgage company they say close to 7,000.00. The principal is only 242.00. Hard times have hit, we are broke,barely paying electric, phone, water and food expenses. On January 10, 2012, my son was running down the street and collasped on the sidewalk. School vice principal rushed him to the hospital. Doctors decided to hospitalized him to undergo surgery on Jan. 11 for bilateral knee injuries in both legs. My son had to stay at this hospital for 3 weeks because we had to wait for a bed at children rehabilitation hospital in Long Island NY to get physical and occupational therapy to walk again. He must stay at this new hospital for additional 6 more weeks. This situation has cause a big financial hardship because my son hospital bill has total up to $24,000 so far. I have been at my son bedside everyday and I only make minimal wage at my job. I currently don't have many money to pay for the medical bills. And my job didn't pay me for the 3 weeks out of work. My rent is past due and no money to put food on the table. Please help my family with any donations and food. Pray for the speedy recovery of my son.

What I earn in my work, is what I used for my allowance in school and for any books needed, notebooks and school supplies and food at school I eat. Every exam I always do a promissory note to pay all of my debts before graduation, if not, I won't be able to graduate. Our principal understands me and always signed the promissory note for me to get or allowed to take the 1st to the 4th grading test. Now, my graduation is near, it's in april 28. Chase Manahatten is charging my husband 29.99% interest on his samll business loan. He was a general contractor but has had to lay off all of his employees and now he wears his tool belt again. In this economy he often goes months without work. His payments are $800.00 a month and all that covers is the interest - does not touch the principal! I'm another victim of the housing bust. I purchased my house in 2006 for 600K. Its now valued at around 250K and I'm soon facing an adjusting mortgage rate.

What is worse, the house quickly started revealing a ton of hidden problems soon after the purchase was complete. (yes we did an inspection). On top of that, the guy who sold me this house, immediately squeezed in another house on what was the empty lot next to mine. The new house is less than 3 feet away from mine and I can literally reach out the window and touch it if I lean. This guy really took advantage of me and then used my money to build another house! This also cut off all my views and light.

I was naive and listened to a lot of bad advice when making this purchase, but at the time that price for the house I got in California was a great deal. A steal! And then the housing bust. Now I'm left deeply underwater and with a house that needs a lot of repairs.

I can't qualify for a loan modification because I'm current on my payments. I can't refinance because of the loan to value ratio being so bad. I don't want to walk away from my home and cause another foreclosure to damage the values of even more homes in my neighborhood. Its a tough situation, and all I want to do is gain enough extra money to pay down some of my principal so that I start digging myself out of this horrible hole.

I realize that a lot of people have a lot of deeper problems, but I figure it can't hurt to ask. Once I am back on my financial feet I WILL pay it forward and find others to help. I actually already try to help people learn how to make money online and I also give to disaster relief whenever I can.

Please contribute to my cause. I'm just another American citizen trying to do the right thing for myself and my community. I have cut back on life's ammenities, I don't go on vacation, I work as much and as hard as I can to make extra money, but I just need a little more help.

I am looking to becoming free from the burden of Credit Cards. I was doing well paying them until I became disabled. Now all I can pay is the monthly amount which is doing nothing for the principal since I have high interest rates. Just to be free of this debt, I will be able to make ends meet again. Those cards have long been cut up after I started getting disability. There is a total of $5000 between 3 cards and interest rates ranging from 19%-25%. My disability check is 58% LESS than my pay was when I was working. Hi, I'm a college student paying for myself because my family can't afford it. I used to have a part time job at a small coffee shop near my school but it closed down thus I'm jobless. My tuition has been piling up since last school year and my principal has been only nice to me and that if I don't pay the $500 before April, she's going to have to reconsider my enrolment next year.
