Post a Beg Now!

Nursing school

Posted by reeses1123 on 2012-03-29 01:58:43

I am writing this beg for help out of desperation and anxiety. I have been a full time licensed practical nurse at a small town hospital for 5 years. I have a 2 year old son and a one year old daughter. I do not currently, nor have I ever, asked for any government assistance to get through life. I make ends meet by working VERY hard at the hospital, picking up overtime when necessary. I clip coupons, shop at discount stores and take every article of hand-me-down clothing that comes my way. I start a registered nursing program in the fall of 2012. I am asking for help to keep my home financially afloat while I attend school. I am not asking for a million dollars, just a little help. Anything at all would be greatly appreciated- grocery or Wal-mart gift cards, gas cards. Anything that a little family could use to get by while Mommy can't work full time is all I'm asking for

Please help me fund my dream!

Hello

I recently started up my own opera company and I am looking to fund our inaugural production of Cosi fan tutte. I am seeking funding within the region of $6000 in total but all assistance is most appreciated.
The action has been updated to modern day Italy, we have our whole cast and venue up and ready to go. But the dream will vanish if we cannot get the money behind it.

You can find out more details about the project here:

http://www.pozible.com.au/index.php/archive/index/4727/description/0/0

We have a performance target date of March 18 2012 for the venture which is why we are looking for the money immediately. This is the best date to tie in with our venue, the beautiful Makers Market at Abbotsford.
Funds include costuming and props, set design, hiring chamber orchestra and instruments, publicity, payment of director and music director, buying rights to specific images and creating posters and programmes. The artists, including myself, are NOT making any money from the venture and are giving up their time for free.
I am a highly motivated self-starter with extensive experience in both the practical and administrative side of the arts. In return for your valuable help I am able to assist you to get your own business projects up off the ground in areas such as data entry, copywriting, editing, proofing and the creative process. Or if you are a creative organisation or individual needing a hand, whether it be through performance or administrative matters, I would be happy to help you free of charge.
Additionally, my wonderful troupe of singers can perform at your next corporate functioning or gathering - we will even travel as a special thank you!
This is an exciting new initiative that you and/or your business can get involved in from the ground level. I guarantee that this venture will make money - so if it is difficult for you to get involved as a donor, we can organise a repayment scheme.

I can't tell you how grateful I am. Thank you so much for your time.

Please help me achieve my dream!

Without sufficient friends or family to rely on, a single person with special-needs pets needs your help in any amount. No steady work in spite of many interviews and diligent searching, multiple health issues, and lack of adequate support network have left this person in a desperate situation. Ten dollars will buy a bag of groceries. One hundred dollars will pay an electricity bill. Eight hundred dollars will help keep this person and the pets in their home. Eighty dollars will help keep communications open so this person can continue to look for work. Eighty-three dollars will buy prescription dry and canned pet food. Twenty dollars will pay for human prescriptions. Two hundred dollars will buy a warm winter coat that fits and which is suitable for job interviews. Five dollars will buy a thrift store garment in the person's current size (presentable clothes that fit are an issue). One hundred twenty dollars will buy a suit for a job interview. Sixty dollars will buy shoes that do not hurt and which are suitable for work. Thirty dollars will help pay for the laundromat for a couple of weeks. Fifteen dollars will buy an herbal supplement to help treat a life-threatening condition.

The financial situation for this person has become very dire due to lack of work. The person is applying for many types of jobs at any rate of pay. This is a skilled and educated individual who is eager to do any work of which the person is capabale. Any amount can help relieve the health-robbing pressure and burden on this person. Two hundred fifty dollars would allow the person to get a needed cleaning for the first time in over two years and to check on tooth pain and a possible jaw problem. Ten dollars will cover the required donation required to visit a low-income medical clinic. Twenty-five dollars will cover most urgent prescriptions for a month.

Two dollars will buy a little bit of fruit. Four hundred dollars will provide a vision exam and new glasses or a couple of pair of replacement lenses as this person is having difficulty seeing with the old glasses.

Please forgive the third person description. It is very hard to write this and just about impossible to use the word "I" in telling this story.

Even a tiny amount will help go for something necessary. No amount is too large or too small to be appreciated or put to practical use to help a very grateful person climb out of a very bad situation and create a more stable and secure life. Thank you again for reading.

My name is Karen. I am 26 years old married and work two jobs, and have two children. We are moving November 1st, but unfortunately our car decided to break down two days ago, October 25, 2011. So I had this idea. All I am looking for is every site visitor to donate one to two dollars.Thank you for visiting! Our goal is 1700 total for move in and deposit! Ill keep you posted on progress! Please i am at the end of my rope, so depressed and hard up, i do not want to be on the streets on mon, we cant even eat today, please find it in your heart to donate just ONE dollar.

NEED HELP WITH CAR

Posted by slamb1 on 2011-10-20 20:58:35

I'm in desperate need of help. Four years ago, I graduated into recession, I got temp job but I needed reliable transportation. So, I got 2004 Chrysler Sebring, it was practical car that took care of me and I was able to take care of the payments.
Consequently, my life went downhill because after February 2009, I got laid off and I got hurt and had to get on disability for a year. When I got healed, I look very hard for employment with determination and persistence I found a part time job at Denny’s in August 2011. I was happy about it because my unemployment exhausted in July of 2011 so it was blessing. But until then I was able to take care of my car payment because unemployment gave me enough to take care all of my bills.
Sadly, I work 8 hours a week for $ 8. So, I’m only receiving $200 a month to pay for all my bills which is impossible. As you can see even with this job I'm in jeopardy of losing my car I have 25 more days until they repossess my car. I pleading for you to help me because I cannot lose my car I still it need to look for more employment and to take of business errands. I already paid 16,280 I have another 9,000 to go. I tried refinancing, trading it in, or giving it to someone else but my efforts fail due to my bad credit and low income. I'm very depressed and upset that I can't take care of this car loan. I been trying so hard to keep this car and don't want to let it go. Please help me you are my only hope in keeping my car. Please respond as soon as possible before its too late. Thank you for your time and patience.
Sincerely,
Shakia

PhD Student in Political Theory Asking for Help

Posted by austinhayden on 2011-08-01 03:58:51

Hi,

My name is Austin. I'm currently a PhD student in Political Theory. My research is primarily concerned with examining social movements and their relationships with State power. I am very involved in social, environmental, and political activism, and my research aims to be eminently practical as fuel for aiding further progress in this ever-expanding, globalized world.

Although I teach, tutor, edit student essays, and work part-time as a personal trainer my bills are still swallowing me whole (especially those pesky student loans!). If you are in a position to donate, I would be most appreciative, as any gratuity that I might receive will surely relieve some stress. Even if it's only a couple dollars, you will have my sincerest gratitude.

Feel free to contact me via email.

Thank You for Considering the Matter!

Help Request for 28 Days & Counting

Posted by LovingAuntie on 2011-07-22 00:58:59

As I was writing on my niece’s behalf, I felt to submit a request of my own.

In April, my unemployment benefits were exhausted. May and June of this year found me without enough cash flow to pay my storage fees. However, beginning in late August, I will be receiving retirement benefits, which will allow me to once again maintain a balance until such time I am generating sufficient income to have a place of my own and permanently remove my possessions out of storage.

While I remain diligent in my efforts to secure employment, I am still unemployed and my deadline for paying off the balance of my storage fees is August 18, 2011 in the amount of $822.18 (including late, lock cutting, lien and other fees), incurred during the months of May to August.

The space holds my family’s lifetime of irreplaceable documents and other valuable and very useful practical possessions, representing for me a legacy of work and living I’ve accumulated and experienced these 62 years, and intend to use for at least another 30 years. Many of the books, art work and other one-of-a kind collections I plan to leave for my sons and grandsons.

Vision with me that $30.00 from 28 people is sent to me at least once daily doing it for me. So, if you find it in your heart to give, and your fiscal resources oblige, know that any and all amounts of monetary donations are humbly received and greatly appreciated. Thank you for your consideration and effort.

Hubby's 40th birthday gift

Posted by twinmutt on 2011-06-12 11:58:50

My husband Chris is a wonderful man. He will be turning 40 in August and I would love to surprise him with his dream car, a Mustang GT Convertable. He never, ever asks for anything, but he is always willing to give help to others. He forfeited college to take care of his ailing mother. When he was 21 he had a '93 mustang which he sold after his mother died so he could be more practical and be there for his father. His father then stole thousands of dollars from him and disappeared. When I decided to go back to college he supported me. When we had difficulty concieving, he was by my side, and had the task of injecting me daily with hormones. He went to work at night so that he could be there for our children when they were toddlers, as well as always being home in case they get sick at school. He takes care of the house daily, laundry, vacuuming, making the beds, so that I can focus my full attention on our children at night. HE loves animals and donates to variosu causes. When my family calls upon him for help with a project he is there. He stayed in the hospital with my mother day in and day out after she suffered an grand mal seizure during the hours that no one else could be there. I have never been able to give him an amazing gift to show my appreciation, and he so deserves something wonderful and out of this world. I will never be able to do this for him without the help of others. PLease, consider donating a dollar or two to my cause.

Would You Please Help With This Endeavor?

Posted by GEEDonations on 2011-05-29 23:58:06

Dear Reader,

Setting up the website below is likely the most practical avenue that I can take at this point. I am caught in the payday loan trap. My overall credit rating is low. I have somewhere between $20,000 and $30,00 of overall debt. At the same time, I have a stable job in the professional world, while I also do some independent freelance work in my field on the side. Both of my checking accounts are in the negative right now. I have regular bills coming due very soon! So, I am utilizing the Internet to ask folks to donate money to me with respect to my present circumstances.

Even if you are only willing and/or able to donate $1, this would be helpful. The website is not a landing page. There are no sponsored ads on this site. This is not a scam. I will use the money for my immediate financial needs, to pay the payday loan companies, to start paying down my overall debt at a better pace, and to invest in my independent freelance work. If you have any questions about any relevant details, please do ask (contact info is on the website).

I had thought about asking for folks to consider the possibility of providing a direct personal loan for my own emergency needs, debt consolidation, etc., but I am not sure if that is wise. However, this sort of loan could be used for consolidation. In the big picture, it might be best to ask for donations, be thankful for what I receive, and focus on earning money in as many legitimate/legal/ethical ways as possible.

As I write this here, it might be acceptable to you (if you are not willing to donate) to ask me to do some freelance work for you in my field. We could discuss that option by E-mail of course (again, contact info is on the website).

Again, thank you for your consideration.

Need financial help to travel and work with animals.

Posted by HopesToMakeADifference on 2011-05-04 22:58:07

Hello everyone,

I have finally decided what I would like to do with my life. I want to be an animal care worker. I would like to work in disaster relief for animals, namely oil spills, and help the poor animals affected by our mistakes. I would like to volunteer overseas and gain life, and practical job-related experience before going to college to become certified. I have found a program in South Africa that I would love to volunteer for, but do not have the funds to do so. If I spend the funds to have this experience, I will not have enough money to pay for school, let alone pay rent and eat. I am asking for help so that I can a.) help the animals, b.) gain experience in Africa that just simply isn't available here in Canada (i.e. working with big cats), and c.) gain some life experience and figure out who I am. Any donations will be greatly appreciated, and never be forgotten.

Nursing School

Posted by crmurphy on 2011-04-09 13:58:46

Hi.
I am $70,000 in debt from grad school and can't find a job. I have always paid my bills, but now am in a position where I don't know what else to do. I am a mid-career changer who has been accepted to a practical nursing program. The cost of the whole program is only $3,000. For me, that might as well be $3,000,000. I am not allowed to work anywhere for the duration of the program. Can anyone help me with tuition? The school is North Arkansas Community College in Harrison, AR.

Thanks for thinking of me.

Blessings.

Family homeless after earthquake in Christchurch needs financial help.
My family and I lost everything after recent earthquake in Christchurch.People have the best of intentions they really want to do something practical to help Christchurch but we know from past experience that collecting up second hand goods only causes problems and it doesn't get to the people who are in need of help. There is nowhere to store these items in Christchurch, there is no way of checking where the bedding, clothes and what have you have come from and usually it all ends up being dumped, which is a terrible waste.
The best way to help at the moment is to give money, so please help us with any amount of money no matter how small, 1$ or 2$ is welcome, small and ordinary people with good souls do great things. It’s hard enough to have lost everything we've built up together our whole married lives and also things we've had since we were kids but our 3 children things seem to strike the hardest. The Lord was watching over us that day. We are trying to get back on our feet, but in this uncertain economy its proving more difficult everyday. We have been big givers and enjoy to give. Now we are in a serious time of need and thank you for any donations or love offerings you may want to give. Thank you again and God bless you may send donations to pay pal God bless you and your families as your kindness!

Surprise Best Husband for 30th Birthday

Posted by Tex223 on 2011-02-17 13:58:01

I have an amazing husband and his dream is to drive a Nascar car. With some research the cost for him to drive one would be $500.00. He works so hard for our family and I would really like to give him this surprise in return. We are practical people so he would be mad at me for doing this but he so deserves it. The next and only available date to drive is in June, so I am really pressed to get things moving. Thank you in advance for any participation in the best birthday ever to a wonderful man!!!

I am a student in the need of personal transportation.

Posted by DinohasNeeds on 2011-01-05 19:58:58

I am a full time college student in Southern California in need of personal transportation.

My travel distance to and from school in the scheme of things is not great. However the distance is impractical to walk on a regular basis;I've walked home from school a few times and it took a little under an hour considering I walk pretty fast. This usually means taking the bus as public transportation is underdeveloped in my area. The bus is extremely slow, so slow that one should leave home well before you need to be where ever you are going. The bus is also a dollar and fifty cents now, which is allot for slow and unfriendly transportation. When I can, I get rides from my parents to school but this is somewhat inconvenient to them and they work hard to help support me and my siblings.

I've worked on independent films as a script supervisor and production assistant in the past to make extra money to pay tuition and personal expenses. However in the last few months work has been slow and my savings have dwindled (I couldn't buy a medium pizza right now). If I was more mobile I could probably get more work but relying on parents and the bus make me an otherwise reliable person somewhat unreliable.

Though I would like a car, that is not a practical option at this time due to the cost of insurance, registration, and fuel. Instead I am interested in getting a 50cc motorbike due to the fact they do not need to be registered, insured, and they're economical. I will insure the bike to be on the cautious side. A quality secondhand bike costs between $900-$1500.If you can or feel like helping me it is going to a great cause and it will be appreciated.

Great Credit, but they say I just don’t make enough!

Hi, IÂ’m a divorced mother of two boys, (one diagnosed with Autism-Aspergers), and have worked very hard on keeping up my credit in the hopes of buying a home for my family. However, my twenty-seven months of unemployment forced me to use all of my savings. I now have a new job but it pays half of what I was getting paid and no savings.

I recently found a three-bedroom condo that foreclosed on and is currently selling for $35,000. It is PERFECT, and in my boysÂ’ school district where my youngest with Aspergers, receives Special Ed support through his school. If I secured a loan my monthly payments would be around $600/month. ThatÂ’s $250 less than what IÂ’m paying in RENT! And while I have never been late on one rent payment of $850 in the last 6 years, the loan officer says I donÂ’t make enough to buy a house.

I am a very practical person, IÂ’m not frivolous, and have excellent money management skillsÂ…this is why IÂ’m so upset that I donÂ’t qualify for a loan. The loan officer said I needed to pay down my $15,000 in credit debt or pay off the rest of my car loan, which is around $10,000 and come up with at least 3.5% of what I want to borrow, and I can buy a home!

I am reaching out to anyone that understands my situation and the need to want to provide the best for their family. My ex-husband does not provide child support due to him being laid off and my family is not in a financial position to help me out, even though they have been my rock during this extremely difficult time. If you can give any amount to help out, my family and I would be extremely grateful.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post. If you are not able to send a donation, then please send a prayer our way.

Single Mom of Six needs help starting over

Posted by SnglMomof6 on 2010-10-27 10:58:58

When my ex walked out in June I thought I could start over. My youngest son was only two months old. My ex was suppose to cover expenses til I went back to work. He has not. Since June I have been looking for employment, my area has very little decent paying jobs that I can support 7 people with. It is definately a "two income family area". The rent is high and I just can't make it here.

I need to relocate to a more practical area. To do this I need moving money, damage deposit and a couple months rent. Some living expenses as even though I don't think it will take long to gain employment the few weeks til first paycheck will be long ones.

If anyone can help, I really appreciate it. I've never done anything like this before but have run out of options. Thanks in advance.
