Im a single 29year old mother of two beautiful children, my son is eleven and my daughter is three years old. Im finding it hard to manage their fees every month as I have to provide for all their needs myself, Im determined to see them through school so they can live better lives. Due to financial restraints couldnt finish school, thats why its very important to me that they finish their schooling. I only earn R1500 per month which barely sees us past pay week. My son got 81% for maths this last term, so I know he has tons of potential, but currently I owe the school more than two years of school fees and end of this month, they are handing us over to their lawyers. I am in danger of losing my house. My husband is having difficulty finding a job since coming home from Iraq. The VA is full of dead ends and nothing with potential. Our daughter just turned 4 and right now we have to put her in day care so I can work and my husband to go to school and look for a job. This is extremely new to me.I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would have to humble myself and beg for financial assistance for my Fiance' and I. I am a single mother who's been truly blessed with 4, beautiful, healthy children; 3 biological & a foster son that joined our family when he was 12…..he is now 23. My kids are the reason I continue to battle through what has been the most challenging, darkest phase of my 50 years on this Earth.

In the summer of 2011, life, as my family knew it, was forever changed. My son got off the school bus & proceeded to enter a crime scene upon opening the front door of the house we call home. It was immediately clear that we were victims of a daytime home invasion and robbery. A trail of splinters led straight to my bedroom door, which had been demolished in the process of gaining entrance & access to my personal belongings. Robbers took my box of trash bags & proceeded to fill them with anything that could be sold or traded. I came home to find that they had stolen everything of value that I had worked for in my 50 years of existence & everything of value that my kids cherished as well.

It didn't happen often, but on the occasion that I had a few extra dollars to spend on myself, I found pleasure in buying nice jewelry. Through the years, I had managed to accumulate a nice collection. Also, as a child, my father & I shared an interest in coin collecting. I had managed to hold on to several interesting coins my dad & I found. Weekly, he also, gave me & my brothers our allowance of a fifty cent piece each. I had somehow managed to hold on to many of these as well. I stored my coin collection in the bottom portion of my large armoire. This area is what my family referred to as "the safe." Anything of value, particularly sentimental, was given to me to be protected in the safe. A couple good examples are my, then, 10 year old son's game ball for hitting the Championship game winning grand slam home run & my daughter's horse riding medals, show jewelry & accessories, as well as a silver handled knife & sheath…….the only personal possession my foster son owned from his childhood. I carry a tremendous amount of guilt for not doing a better job of safe guarding my family's precious & dear possessions.

In addition to the lingering guilt, the robbery also resulted in life altering psychological effects to me & my family. I continue to wonder if & when I will ever fully recover & be the secure, self confident person I was before the robbery. Immediately following the break-in, I was consumed by finding out who was responsible & ways of obtaining this information…..I could think of nothing else. After several weeks of frantic guessing & running wild goose chases, I started to realize that regaining possession of my property was less likely as each day went by. I could feel myself falling into a dark, lonely place with deep despair…..& unfortunately, I was content to be there. For the next several months, I could not work, did not eat or sleep & rarely came out of my bedroom. There was a film in my head that ran & reran the events leading up to & immediately following the robbery…..filled with the "I should've"s, "I could've"s and "what ifs." I am plagued with distrust & no longer find interest in much of anything. I was robbed of far more than just pieces of property…..they stole my trust in mankind, my desire to thrive, my faith in the world & my sanity.

I have worked as a medical school curriculum manager for 21 years. As a result of my mental decline, I was unable to work for over three months which, consequentially, made it difficult to pay all of the bills. I managed to rob Peter to pay Paul for several months & kept up with everything except for my house payment. It is now in arrears nearly $5,000.00 & I am out of resources. For the first time in my life, I am facing foreclosure. It is embarrassing & humiliating & I don't know how to tell my kids that they are likely to have no place to call home in the very near future. I feel like such a failure! Even though I've been an exemplary employee for many years, as a consequence of the self doubting & tremendous stress, I am now faced with the strong potential of losing my job due to my inability to focus & my lack of desire to face each day, As if this wasn't enough for one person to handle, I am also witnessing the daily decline of my father & my hero due to end stage Parkinson's & Alzheimer's.

ITS HARD BEING A SINGLE PARENT!!!
Since I was a little girl my mom informed me you will graduate from college get a nice job and get married but none of those things happened for me I graduated from high school and realized damn am tired of school and Life started.My fiance was killed Feb 26 2011 nobody prepared me for the pain, the heart ache, and  side effects of the kids,  no insurance, no money, and the  crying nights. Its so hard being a single parent.Where is the manual for this type stuff.I lost my jobs,my apartment and now all i can do is try to start over with my life. My name is Micheal. I am a 23-year-old male living in the midwest. I currently have a job at a failing restaurant and am struggling to look for a job in a failing job market.

My old roommate left me to join the Navy and I have been in dire financial straits ever since (I have gone through dozens of potential roommates and NONE of them were responsible enough to pay their rent or they failed to move in). My rent is VERY high (a little over $700). I can only take serving jobs, because they are the only type of job which provides an average amount of money per hour for me to barely scrape by (I have to make at LEAST $15-$20 an hour to have a place to live and there are no non-specialized jobs that will pay that much per hour to someone with no advanced education).

To the point though, this post isn't really for me; it is for my parents. My parents are BOTH on disability and barely make enough COMBINED to pay for the house that they live in. I constantly have to assist them with living expenses among other things (food and medicine usually). Yes they do get quite a bit of government assistance, but with NO other source of income, things are impossible for them without my help (for example, I had to take on the full car payment for an Acura that my father owned that costs me nearly $400 a month NOT including the insurance).

Now, with myself in financial difficulties, they too are faced with the threat of losing much-needed medicine, vehicle transportation, and possibly their home.

I am making this post in hopes that there is someone who can help keep the worst from happening in my life and for my parents. I don't want to fail them as a son, so I have made this post in a last-ditch effort to plead for assistance. Anything that you can contribute would help me with bills for both myself and my parents. Hi. My family really needs help. We are a family of 5 living in San Ramon, CA.

In January of 2011 both my wife and I lost our jobs. We have been working to make ends meet ever since. Last year was the beginning of our misfortune. After losing our jobs we spend months looking. Then in June we were evicted from the home we lived in for 3 years -- financial problems. We moved into a hotel where we lived for a month looking a new place to live. Living in a small room with a 17, 13, and 2 year old was tough.

In additon to living in the hotel my wife and I found out we were pregnant. However, the pregnancy turned out to be ectopic. No insurance and an ectopic pregnancy to get through. It wiped out our savings.

We finally found a place at the end of July. We used the last of our money to get rent the place. My wife started working towards the end of August. She didn't make enough to support us, but she was working. Now, I just needed to find a job.

After a few months of looking I decided to start my own business. It is tough, but it also has potential. I have a limited marketing budget so growth is small.

Next up, my wife got pneumonia and was out of work for nearly a month. This killed us. we fell behind on rent and cannot catch up. We havent paid rent since January. We owe rent for February and March. Total -- $6100. And we have April coming up. We would love to stay in our home but it looks impossible. I understand the owners dilemma and am happy we got to stay this long.

We are looking for some catch up. Anything would help, anything at all.

We have tried various community agencies, but my wife makes a too much (the standards are set very low) or since we live in San Ramon agencies do not serve that area.

We thought about moving, but with 2 out of 3 kids in school it would be extremely difficult to uproot them.

We got our 3 day eviction notice today. We need to be out of our home by Monday at noon unless we can pay rent. If we cant we need to find a new place to live.

My family is falling apart. My friends dont have the resources to help (well I did have one friend pay Decembers rent for us but he cannot help anymore until he builds back some savings). My parents and my wifes parents are not able to help (fixed incomes and no savings).

Hey everyone. I've been dealing with panic disorder and agoraphobia for about 10 years. I'm currently 28 years old and am almost finished with a bachelor's of science degree. It has taken me almost ten years to complete, but I refuse to give up. I live with my parents still and sell things on ebay, try to do daily jobs, and take classes either on campus or online. I do not have medical insurance and I really need to have my eyes checked, a doctor's check-up, a dental cleaning, and money for Sallie Mae bills. Food, gas, and hygiene money aside. I've pretty much run out of things to sell and my parents don't have enough money of their own to support me. I have applied for HIP but am still on the waiting list after two years. I think it's pertinent to mention that I apply for jobs daily online. I do not sit around and wait for hand-outs. A lot of the jobs I have managed to obtain, I lost due to panic attacks. If I need to "step out" for a few minutes to collect myself, the employer doesn't understand. It's very frustrating because I try repeatedly with the same results. I would love to be able to see a psychiatrist, but again, I cannot afford it. I belong to online self-help communities and try to give myself the best therapy I know how. We desperately need your help! We are a small church located in an economically disadvantaged community. We own a house that was deeded over to us by a former pastor and are at risk of losing that property because of our inability to pay some past due taxes on the property.

The house was deeded to the church over 30 years ago by a former pastor of the church who had become ill and subsequently passed away. The house is not located in the same community as the church. (In fact, it is some distance away from the church, and therefore could not be utilized for church-related purposes which would have taken it off of the tax roll). As a result of gentrification in that community, the property values have increased tremendously. The property tax assessment for the property owned by the church escalated to staggering heights during the housing bubble.

Because of this the church has had much difficulty keeping up with all of the taxes on the property (a general tax, a school tax, and a village tax). The rental income from the property is used to assist the church with operating expenses, maintenance of all of the church properties, as well as paying the taxes. Finally, reassessment in the last couple of years has brought down the amount of taxes to be paid and we are better able to handle some of the current taxes due, but some of the older taxes were sold and consolidated in tax lien sales. The consolidation of the prior taxes due has hurt us tremendously. Numerous times the unpaid taxes were consolidated prior to our completion of raising enough funds to pay off some of them in their unconsolidated state. Individually some were $1,000 to $3,000 respectively. They have been consolidated totaling almost $19,000. We are not permitted to pay the liens individually which was viable, we have to pay them in total.

There is a holding company based in the community where the house is located which purchased those liens. That company is now a few months away from being able to begin foreclosure proceedings and take a valuable piece of real estate out from under the church. This would be devastating to the church.

The church has been in the process of trying to sell the house and use the proceeds from the sale to build a much needed new church building in the community it is located as well as to pay off those outstanding liens at closing, and to unload a property that was once a blessing to the church, but has long since become a burden. We don’t want to lose the property. We want to be able to sell it. We had some offers on the house, but at the last minute a promising deal fell through. Previously interested buyers, for some reason now, are less interested. We feel it is possible that there may some collusion within the community where the house is located to wait for the lien process to move forward and that potential purchasers connected with the holding company will be able to take the property and flip it to tremendous financial advantage, while leaving the church with nothing for thirty years of struggling to take care of the property.

It is important that we are allowed to sell the house and build our new church. We are in the final stages of making the new building a reality. All we have to do is secure the construction financing. Receipt of a commitment letter for the sale of the house is all that stands in the way of a 40+ year dream for the congregation. It would give us the down-payment that we need to move forward.

With the construction of a new church, we would be able to operate before and after school programs, have handicap accessible restrooms, and provide better services to the community. We have a senior citizens housing complex across the street from our church, and many of the residents would attend our church but they are unable to climb up and down the stairs to the single-person restrooms in the basement. We also operate a summer day camp which would benefit greatly from having more space in which to operate. We would be able to accommodate many more youngsters, many of whose families are unable to afford the other summer camps operating in the area. We have had to turn down prospective campers because of space constraints.

Our congregational makeup has changed over the years. The financial impact of that changed has been coupled with the severe impact of the economic downturn on our community. We have more retirees now on fixed income, youth, and small children, many of whom have young mothers, and some people who are working age, mostly with working class wages. We need to build a church to better meet the needs of our congregation and community. We operate a food pantry and soup kitchen which would be able to open more days a week with bigger pantry space and a modern commercial kitchen.

As I stated, we are in the final stages of the building project. We have our permits, plans, and contractor selected. We are ready to obtain financing. The congregation, which has always striven to do much with little, has invested much in this projected over the years and the sale of this property owned by the church is the one thing that stands in the way of it happening. Please do not let us lose this property just so a few people can make a quick buck. Help us to pay off these tax liens so that our church will be able to help transform an entire community!

I am 26 yr old single male. Lost my job and have yet to find solid employment, its been over a year! Growing up I was the kid who had a job before anyone else, always working, always saving. Lately, like many other people it has been tough.

I’ve never asked for any kind of help before, and certainly not from people that I have never met! But my situation has become so desperate that I really do need help.
I have, for the last 15 years, struggled to make ends meet, following periods of ill-health, bad luck and catastrophic decision making. My circumstances are now very desperate indeed, and have even considered suicide.
In 1997 I suffered from a period of depression, that became so severe that I was forced to give up my job, and borrowed money to cover my mortgage and keep my house. Unfortunately the repayments on this ever increasing debt snowballed, and I found myself unable to meet my mortgage and household bills. I had ploughed my life savings into the home, and lost it all.
In 2006 I was approached by a friend, who was concerned for my financial circumstances, and suggested that we buy an old property, renovate it and sell it for a profit. I was desperate to make some money, and trusted my friend. I would refer you to full details of this in my Beg, as the project ended in complete failure having been ripped off by an unscrupulous builder. Work that should have taken 3 months took in excess of 9, and I ended up carrying out all the work myself. I regularly worked at the house from the early hours until well past midnight. The long hours left me exhausted, and in October 2008 I had a breakdown. I simply couldn’t carry on, and collapsed at work. My employer at the time was an unforgiving and vindictive man, and he said that I would be suspended if my work didn’t improve. I was afraid that I would lose my job, and under considerable psychological pressure from my employer I was forced to resign.
Following the failed business venture, which had plunged me into further debt, my breakdown and subsequent loss of my job, I simply couldn’t cope and pushed me into a long period of depression that became so severe that I planned to take my life. At the time I was so ill that I was unable to hold down a job, and this simply added to my woes - whilst out of work and undergoing intensive counselling I borrowed further. By the end of 2009 I was £15,000 ($23,250) in debt. I desperately want to rebuild my life now, but it is difficult to do so when I am saddled with a debt that is crippling me. Between 2009 and December 2010 my debt increased - there is no answer to it, and I will never ever me able to clear the £18,000 ($27,900) that I now owe. My girls new as soon as they walked in the door an were hysterical they loved there granddad an amazing musician. we arranged the funeral his jazz band were to be there me and my eldest brother ken and my dad were called the 3 amigos we were so close but my brother who was only 44 had been ill as well. it was the 5th of november 2007 that my dad died his funeral was to be for the following monday. Then early friday morning the 9th of november my phone rang it was my mum my brother had died in his sleep to say we were devestated is an understatement. we had to cancel my dads funeral and held a joint service for them both. our lives have never been the same. my eldest daughter emma has been offered a place at university but as a single disabled mum there is no way i can pay for her. she really wants to be a fashion designer and has made some amazing items a university has seen her potential but i cannot nearlly afford the fees etc. I would ask for anything at all pennies would even help. Sponsorship has been in integral part of racing for years.
Racing can get expensive. There are many items that need to be taken care of just to get out and race. You have to get a car, strip it completely, get it running (buy parts, tires, fuel) and even paint it! (someone has to paint the Sponsors name on the car). You have to store the car someplace when it is not in use, and you need a shop to work on the car. On race day, after you already paid the entry, you have to get the car to the race track, and bring it back home with you to prepare for the next race. You have to provide a scorer and crew, all of which is separate admission to the track, and feeding the crew and keeping fluids in them helps keep them on their toes to make any quick fixes! All of this, and all the time spent by all the team members add up, and most if it comes from our own pockets. Now go one step further and multiply this by about 36 races for the season, It adds up. That's why we need Sponsor Help.

Benifits of becoming involved in our race team as a sponsor.
We would be happy to display the race car at your place of business or any activity you may have such as a company picnic or special sales event.
And, of course, your company name or logo displayed on the side of the race car. Your company name will be exposed to as many as 1,500 race fans every week. These are local people that spend thier money locally.
We would accomodate any other special arrangements that a potential sponsor may require. Again, our agreement could be totaly negoitable in order to best serve the advertising needs of the sponsor.
