Post a Beg Now!

Need Money To Prevent Eviction

Posted by HelpACS on 2012-05-20 23:58:53

I really need help, I couldn't sleep tonight. I actually googled , "I am about to get evicted and I need help paying rent" and this website came up so here I am. If this site really works and there is anyone out there willing or able to help I sincerely need you now! My rent including late fee is $725 and as of today I m 21 days late and only have $80. The reason for this is that I work part time and get paid every 2 weeks. While my pay is usually enough to cover this, I did fracture my toe and sprain my ankle 2 weeks ago causing me to miss a week from work. I'm also a freelance designer so I can work from home but I have not received any new projects so no money coming in there.
I am willing to trade services/work for whatever I can get, I design logos, websites and more, you can see my portfolio at raisincanearts.com that way I will be earning instead of begging.... really need help please someone, anyone this is not a scam, I need money any amount helps as long as it brings me closer to that $725 but that is my end goal. I don't have any friends or family that can help me so this is really my last resort. If you need any graphic design in exchange for donation my email is canr.raisincanearts@yahoo.com. Thank you

Aspiring filmmaker in need of university and equipment funding

Posted by fridakahlo on 2012-04-13 09:58:39

Hi everyone,

I am a seventeen year old aspiring filmmaker and TV production specialist currently applying to several of the best universities in London in hope that in a year I will be able to study at the Met Film School. All my life as a child I remember loving to do videos and edit them - filmmaking was always my dream job. My grades are fantastic, so I know I will definitely get in. The tuition fees alone will be $30,000 a year, and I will also need to pay for living costs and accommodation. This is very difficult for my parents to afford because I also have a little sister growing up that they need to pay for.

One more thing: when I apply, I must provide a portfolio of my works, but I haven't got any works because I don't have the money to buy myself a proper camera. A good camera with all the equipment required to go with it costs at least $1,500, and I don't have that money.

Please, if everyone just helps with a dollar or two, I'll be able to afford good equipment, a good education, a fantastic future, and thus yet another child's dreams will be fulfilled.

Thank you.

Need An iMac To Start My Career

Posted by amieb05 on 2012-03-15 15:58:34

This is highly embarassing for me to "cyber beg." Begging seems like such an awful word, but here I am asking for donations of anything! I don't care if it's 0.25 cents or $1. Anything helps.

I'm a struggling graphic designer in need of a new desktop Machintosh. I'm aiming to raise $1300 to buy a new iMac computer so that I can start designing to complete my portfolio and start applying for work. My last computer failed on me during finals in school. Thanks to my school's computer lab, I was able to finish my work and graduate. That was back in NYC. I couldn't afford living there on my own and had to come to a smaller town to live with parents. I worked minimum wage retail to gain some money, but the physical stress forced me to stop working due to muscle weakness problem I have. A medical affliction caused by a tumor that has been affecting my energy and skeletal/muscle strength for about 7 years. It was hard getting through school with my condition. It was twice as hard having to work on my feet for hours in a retail environment.

Double my misfortune, I live in a place where jobs are hard to come by. A small town which has a lot of developing to do and jobs are far between. I need a car to travel to the nearest grocery store and can't depend on parents to transport me everywhere. This is why a job is so imperative. I'd like to feel fulfilled knowing I'm doing something for my future and earning money to buy my needs. I wish I had the equipment to start looking for work.

I want an iMac more than anything in the world. If I had my iMac, I could update my portfolio, do some online freelance work and help my parents with some bills. I could start applying for jobs from home and not have to rely on my neighbor's iPad to browse the internet. Whenever my family goes to the mall in the weekends, I pass by our local Apple store and I see people walking out of the store with large boxes containing their brand new iMac's, Macbook Pro's or expensive iPad's...and I get angry.

Yes, I know it sounds terrible and I know not everyone buying a computer is a rich business mogul or an overpampered kid whose parents can buy them whatever they want, and they never have to worry about whether they could afford it or not. But it hurts me to know I'm in such a position, that although I am an adult who should be paying her parent's bills, I can't even help myself because I'm unemployed. No thanks to my stupid weak body that can't take a lot of physical strain, no thanks to ending up in a town where I can't get anywhere without having to walk at least two miles, no thanks to not having my computer...

My name is not Amelia. That is just a screen name because I am too embarassed to reveal my real name. I'd be so grateful to anyone that can help me reach my $1300 goal. I know Mac's are expensive, but they are the industry standard in what I do. I would like a desktop because they are durable and longer lasting. They can also take a lot processing power for the heavy graphic work I do. If you can find it in your time to spare any change .25 cents, $1, $5, I'll be grateful 'till eternity.

Anyone who donates, be kind to leave an email so that I can send you something in return for your favor.

Thank you and God bless,

Updates: September 11, 2011 - I have been able to get a part-time job which is good news, but the rest is just about the same. Thank you for your help Malum Designs
and Pete B.
Since my previous posts have yielded only four donations over the last five months I thought I would try this approach. My financial problems are quite real. If you find my fable entertaining please send a small donation.

The Grasshopper and the Ant
A Classic retold by Joseph the Beggar King
Part One

Once upon a time, not so very long ago, there were two friends, the Grasshopper and the Ant. Why these two became friends is a bit of a mystery. The Grasshopper was a dreamer and a drifter. The Ant was a believer and an achiever.

In school the Grasshopper would look out the window without thought and only learned the subjects he found interesting. Sometimes he would fall asleep in Math class, other times when a angry teacher would jump him with a pop question he would give the correct answer in way that would confound them.

The Ant was a teachers dream, he soaked up every subject the system taught him, gave the correct answers in the correct way and got straight A s. He would delight his Math teacher by doing compound interest in his head. The Ant believed that what they taught him would help him succeed and was very completive. After graduating High School the Ant got an Academic Scholarship and the Grasshopper got a Pell Grant.

Within four years the Ant got two BS degrees in Business Management and Engineering. The Grasshopper dropped out after the first year. He went to live with the Rainbow Tribe for a few years. On the way to the bus station he found an old fiddle in a trash pile along the road and when he got station he was able to panhandle his bus fare. That was the Grasshoppers first beg.

The Ant took the College like a fish to water. During open Rush some Greeks invite him to be a brother in their Fraternity. He earned his dues by being the Frat Houses Accountant and made beer money by writing term papers. One day while visiting the Tri Deltas he watches the girls play volleyball and is amazed that even though they are playing a vigorous game not one of them breaks a sweat. It is there he meets the girl of his dreams, Polly Fishbane.

While the Grasshopper was living with the Rainbow Tribe he never meets the girl of his dreams, but it does not really matter too much because they believe in Free Love. So free, in fact, that after what you might call the Honeymoon he found himself getting a little bored with it. From the Rainbow Tribe he learns to live off the fat of country and from his new friend, Buffalo with Runs, he learns to live off the land. Buffalo with Runs was an very old Indian that was adopted by the tribe. He taught the Grasshopper what wild plants were safe to eat or use for medicines. He showed him how to set traps and hunt small game. Then, during one winter Gathering four people froze to dead because they were too stoned to come in out of the cold. The Grasshopper became very sad and hopped away.

The Ant is recruited by a Aerospace firm even before he graduated college and goes to work on the Apollo Program. He and his new wife Polly loved the Florida sunshine and settle down to start the American Dream. They decide to have two and half children. Even though the third kid looked a bit odd the Ant loved him as only a father can. With easy money down and mortgage tax deductions compliments of Uncle Sam, they get a house with a two car garage. Next they get two cars and the Rat Race is on. The Ant loves it! Working on the Apollo Program is more than a job, it is being part of history. Polly loves it! Raising their kids and Keeping up of with the Jones. She starts selling Avon products on the side. The Ant buys the best bass boat in the neighborhood, but only uses it once a year because he too busy working. He sets up his retirement funds and a small stock portfolio. Life is Good!

After leaving the Rainbow Tribe the Grasshopper panhandles his way across the country. He sets up in parks and subways where he pretends to play his fiddle while selling jewelry made of deer anthers and beads. The noise he makes with his fiddle sounds like a cat being killed and people give him money just to make him stop. Before the Cops run him off, the Grasshopper usually made enough in one day of begging to cover his needs for the week. When he is hungry he goes to a Soup Kitchen and when he needs clothing there are the Sharing Centers. Every now and then he lets some good hearted woman try to save him. Life is Good and he hops away.

The Apollo Program ends and the new Shuttle program does not start for a couple of years. The Aerospace company were the Ant works at does not win any of the new bids. They offer him a job in California at 20% less of his salary. Polly and the kids are in a rage. Nobody wants to move and leave their friends. The Ant sells his house at a loss because the real estate market in flooded by the laid offs. The one car and the boat are reprocessed. He sells off his stock portfolio for the down payment on the new house in California and even though money is tight the Ant decides to take the family on a short vacation to Key West to uplift their spirits. He finds the Grasshopper selling deer antler jewelry at the Front Street Market. While Polly and the kids go shopping, he and Grasshopper catch up and have a couple of beers. The Ant tells his friend about the laid offs and the move. The Grasshopper asks him - Are you Happy - ? The Ant says - Yes -. His friend says, - Good - . They watch the sunset and see a green flash on the horizon.
To be continue.

Identical twin brothers need financial help.

Posted by dawmar on 2011-04-25 19:58:10

My identical twin brother and I are in need of $7000. Since the recession we have been evicted and have racked up a lot of bills. Now we are living in our parents basement. We need to buy equipment like a laptop, a camera, and programs. This would also help us help out are parents as they are finding themselves in the same situation and may loose their house. With this equipment we would get some photo shoots for money lined up, as-well-as allow us to up date our portfolio and create a brochure so that we could send out and advertise our services. Also create a web site and pay for hosting of our site. If you could donate any amount it would be greatly appreciated. We Thank you so very much.

my plea

Posted by jer269 on 2011-04-03 08:58:47

ok so here goes. for those of you who know my past know how far i fell into the depths of addiction. after spending 8 yrs under the department of corrections supervision. behind bars and on parole. I realized, again, who i am and where i came from. I was raised Right I Just Forgot. Today i am a father, dad and someday a husband.i'm almost 9 years clean. my life is good . however there are times when ,what i call "my Lion" awakens and tries calling me back to the life of debauchery i lived for so long/ to put my lion to rest i spend a lot of time fishing. hence my plea. for the last 3 yrs ive been professionally walleye fishing locally competing against other teams. sure for cash, but mainly for the the sense of peace and freedom i feel on open water, instead of the fear, loneliness and hatred i felt on the concrete ocean i came from. today i feel my peace and freedom being threatened, ive contacted corporations, and businesses both locally and nationally expressing my desire to partner with them and share my story of success However the the "economic crisis"which hit me personally. Until a month ago i'd been unemployed for a little over 3 months. has most corporations and businesses not sponosing this year. With that and having to take a job that barely pays the bills surely wont allow me to be on the water hardly at all, let alone in a professional series of circuits as planned. therefore i am reaching out to my friends and family, to their connections and resourses to ask for help. Help to maintian the life i ve gained and to maybe partner with a sponsor whom isnt afraid to let a man like me live a life long dream , to be a professional fisherman and share my story maybe helping someone along the way . so if you have any ideas ,connections or maybe even know Oprah or DR. Phil , a portfolio of our promotional overview along with ranks and abilities can be seen at FishingSponsors.com
