I am a single mom with two boys. I don't know what to do anymore. Cost of living has just sky rocketed in the past year. Petrol price increase almost every month, which means food price rise. Medical aids don't cover anymore like they used to. I just can't make ends meet anymore. Any donation will be appreciated.

Hope you read me, and hope even more that you will contribute. Too cut a long story (cue violin) short, I was made redundant for the first time in my life just before Christmas 2010, My wife then proceeded to divorce me - taking the kids, house and everything. To top it all, I have been losing my hearing since I was a kid, and have recently (summer 2011) have had a binaural (double) cochlea implant - which I hope will assist me in re-launching my life. I just need a few dollars/pounds/cents/pennies to help me get by until I get a job - nothing major, but enough to pay the bills/petrol. Most of the little income support I have is being swallowed up by bank charges, with the little remaining going on maintaining contact with the children, food and petrol. I would even appreciate a job if possible and am not fussy about what to do.

Hi, I am an avid fisherman who has in the past fished all over the world, in recent years its always been for sea fish and would love to be able to come to florida and fish the flats for bonefish or permat and the bridges for tarpon and grouper and also the blue water and back country on a self drive boat.

I am a carer who used to take care of a disabled man who has a brain injury and is confined to a wheelchair,i injured my back atransfering him from his wheelchair into my car in june last year and since then have only been payed statutory sick pay, the damage to my back means i can no longer fish at home even, as i cant manage to dig worms or collect crabs from under the rocks and because of the lack of work cannot afford to buy petrol for the car to get to the coast or buy bait from a fishing tackle shop so any help will be greatly apprieciated even if it is just a few pence it all adds up thankyou again

I have had a chronic illness my entire adult life.
My family don't 'do' illness and have no support from them other than keeping in touch. I get on well with people but they really don't understand ME and so have no found any offers of help. Amazingly I am now working and that's good, but it doesn't pay for my recovery and i'm so ready for that now.

I have done alot of research and the cost of a private clinic programme which includes some contact with a practitioner, tests and treatment costs around £2000. That's to fully recover! (There is no recovery programme or treatment for ME on the nhs, just 'management) £2000 to recover from a debilitating illness is nothing in the wider scheme of things, and nothing to someone even on a reasonable wage for your health. Its such a dream for me. ME is so hard to live with, with daily pain. My entire life is geared around managing it and but now I see I could actually recover. I have much yet to do in life but need financial help to do this programme.

I work, I am not entitled to any benefits whilst working and do not have the energy for a second job. My disposable income after food and petrol is £50pcm. I have applied for many other jobs but my sickness record and my tiredness has stopped me gaining them.

I would be eternally grateful for any donations towards this recovery programme and if it ends up, as I hope, with me well and getting a reasonably paid job I will pass on all that I have been given to someone else in similar circumstances.

I have post a plea a month ago but I received no donation. But I already realize that no one are going to help. Because they think we just a lazy bump and a loooooser. Please Can you help, this is my story.
Where to begin, my life since I was born has been hell I was adopted at birth kicked out of home at 13 because I was pregnant and had to fiend for myself my son was taken off me from the government as I was too young but at 18 thought I had met the love of my life and had 3 beautiful daughters. That was the relationship from hell after 14 years of violence and beatings I fled with my 3 daughters back to where I came from and decided to start a new life and give my kids a better life. It was a real struggle on my own with no support the kids would go back to their father every holidays until one time they came back and one of my daughters was suicidal and then came the devastating news they had been abused by an uncle from the age of 4 years old to 13, it felt like my heart was ripped out what do I do now. Well I did what was right called the authorities and he was jailed for life and has since died in prison, but the devastation it had on my kids was horrific. They dropped out of school, got in trouble with the police, did drugs, burglaries etc and I had to deal with it all on my own they just got so angry. Since then they have settled down as they have children my oldest is 26 with a 5 year old son she lost her daughter at birth that was another tragedy she still can’t sleep and has nightmares. My youngest has a 3 year old daughter and she gets scared to be alone and my middle daughter the one who was suicidal is 24 with 5 kids under 5 she suffers with bi polar disorder and depends on me 24 7. She has just moved down the road from me so I can have a bit of time but we rotate the kids and she is on my doorstep most of the time. She still gets weary of people and needs me around and has a mean anger problem so I still have to be there for all of them. Anyway my mum felt sorry for us and about 10 years ago helped us buy a cheap home she is 80 years old but about 2 years ago the kids all moved out and left me with the mortgage and I couldn’t afford it. My mum nearly lost her home so to save it I lost mine and my truck and now I am on a benefit renting a house with 40 dollars left a week for food power and petrol which is not happening, I am struggling so bad. In spite of all that I suffer depression and asthma and I am hugely over weight due to diabetes with low insulin and after so many diets because of this cant lose weight. I am so scared I had a mild heart attack about 3 months ago and I want to be around to see my grandchildren grow up and give them what I couldn’t have. My doctor told me I need that operation where they shrink your stomach but that is 30 000 dollars, I cant even raise 10 dollars if I needed it, I don’t know what to do I have bailiffs and bills coming out of my eyeballs plus my health. Please can someone help me this is just a brief story I could practically write a whole book of my life but every cent would help. I hav a gorgeous 3 year old son, i am bringing up on my own, mum and dad are great but theres only so much they can give. I work in a dead end job part time as i am limited to the hours i can work as its not financially beneficial by the time i pay out childcare and petrol! i would love to be able to do the fast track itec courses in beauty and massage so i could start my own buisness to work around my boy and give us a better future and quaility of life, also to give myself a sence of achievement with job satisfaction for myself and my son to find happiness again. The problem is the money i make at th moment is barely enough to cover house hold bills and the cost of living i try my hardest to save so i can get started on my courses but there always seems to be something else to pay for... why is everything just money money money?? I desperately need financial assistance to cover my debt of approx R 200 000 South African rand. My problems started after my husband has been cheating on me with someone else’s wife. By the time I found out our small business we had, had to be closed down, we lost our home and cars. This was very heartbreaking for me as this was the last thing I expected. I decided to move to another town as the hurt was too much. I now have a job as a receptionist which only pays me R 4000-00 South African rand per month. I also try to sell cake and some veggies on weekends to make extra money weather permitting. We are renting a property that cost us R3500-00 per month. Then there are the normal bills for water and electricity, food??? Petrol to work, school fees[Arrears R 9600-00], etc. My youngest is now in grade 12.Having a matric ball soon. I would like for her to finish her matric/grade 12 with pride this year. My husband eventually realized he made a mistake and asked me to forgive him and try again because I am a Christian and love my husband very much I did. But now we are struggling to make ends meet as he was not earning any income and we had to borrow here and there. I can’t afford to even buy clothes for my girl’s with cash and bought on credit, I try to cook decent meals but it is difficult without enough money. I feel sorry for my kids. My eldest daughter is 22 and is engaged to get married. I can’t even give her a proper wedding! I just want us to be a happy family again. The main priority for me is for us to be debt free and once again own a home of our own. We do have a small piece of land 315m² that was saved during the time of our troubles we stand a chance to lose this as well, we can build a home on there if we can only find the money. Aprox R 500 000-00. We do not qualify for loans or mortgages. If we could only settle our debts first. I have put my pride aside to beg! I would like to stay anonymous as my husband does not know that I am asking for money. He is already so ashamed of what he has done to us. I cannot handle our marriage failing again!
