I am a member of my high school's swing choir. The swing choir is planning a trip to New York where we will perform at trump tower and see some Broadway shows. I have never been to New York. I live in a very small town and would love to have this experience. The cost is $1200. $275 is due in June. I have been working part time, but will not be able to make the deadline. With three people in my family in college, my parents cannot afford this expense. Please help me with this experience!

I am a cosmetology student an its really hard at this time because i am unable to buy the product that i need to perform my work. Hello, I am a young college student who is struggling to stay in school financially and better my life. Growing up my family actually went down in class from working class to working poor. My old home was and still is in terrible shape. The loss of relatives and equaled loss of income sources, and the house just fell apart and turned into a hoarding house. As a child, I dreamed of having more and it was suggested that the way to upward mobility was through college. I chose to take this route, but I didn't realize how difficult it would be for a low income student to stay in school. If I don't get and opportunity to make some money while in school, then I can't finish.
I need a full-time 2nd or 3rd shift job, or I need part-time job where I am guaranteed at least 20 hours and $8.00 per hour. It is a struggle to stretch a financial aid refund check for literally 6 months to cover expenses during school and living when school is not in session. I need this job to be in Greensboro, NC. I am open to all job possibilities, but I need to not travel with this job. I have to just go to the job site, perform my task, and go home. I have many skills, but my best assets are my trainability and enthusiasm for learning. I also am resourceful and will adapt to whatever situation I am in. I Like to get some magic tricks to perform street magic for the children i also, want to get a mechanical Flea Circus I don't have a car and its cold and I hav to beg on street corners and in front of stores and get kicked out and I go to get food handouts and i am on my walker because i am handicapped if you know me you ed seen me begging in front of the 99 cent store but theres a drunk there who beats me up and steals my pkace and the cops come and take him to jail but he comes back to the parking lot and intemindates the customers and pounds on me at the front to get out I am sick and tried of being poor and sick of begging

I started at a four year university this fall, the first in my family to ever do so. I am a highly independent person and don't feel comfortable begging for money, but I don't know what else to do.
I have been blacklisted and unable to find work, meanwhile I'm unable to pay my rent, buy groceries or school supplies, not even basic toiletries; I have been without toothpaste and toilet paper for 3 weeks. I have no friends that can help, they all either have children or are unemployed and unable to spare any money for me. I don't qualify for any county aid because I made too much money earlier this year, so I have zero help for my medical bills that are now surmounting $15K, my car is going to be repossessed, I'm on the verge of eviction and half starving. My parents cannot help me because they are not in much better financial shape than me, I have not grandparents left and no valid cosigner to acquire an extra student loan. All of this while attending college for nursing, taking a 15 credit course load.
My savings are gone, my bank account is -$483.93 and counting, my landlord is evicting me in December if I can't come up with this month's and December's rent by the first of December. I am reusing everything I can, but am at this point only able to allow myself on very small meal per day or I will have NO food in one week. My cat is starving with me, and we have less than one weeks' food supply left and the food shelf here is so limited I'm on a waiting list. I have no cash, my fiancee's family won't help because they hate me and my fiancee is living two hours away from me, barely getting by as well.

I'm crying my eyes out in the school library typing this. It's the most humiliating and pitiful thing I've done in my life so far but I have no idea what else to do. Please help me. I've asked for help everywhere I should be able to find it but this is my last ditch effort. If this doesn't work, I don't know what I'll do. Please, anyone, anywhere, anything, help me. Anything would be greatly appreciated, even a few cents. I know I'm not going to get out of the situation that I'm in by using this site but all I could hope for was a little relief. Any help and I will consider you my saving grace and do my best to pay it forward when I get done with Medical School, if I make it that far. Please and Thank You for reading my story.

I quit my great paying job of three years to concentrate on school more closely in June.
Since school started in August I have had the following happen:
A nervous breakdown caused by an imbalance of hormones from ovarian cysts that I had to seek medical attention for and cost me my job in absences.
Got engaged to the love of my life, and we suffered the loss of a child by ectopic pregnancy on September 9. I had to have emergency surgery as the ER dept. here did not figure out that was the problem until I was nearly dying. They had to remove the fetus, 15% of my left fallopian tube and had to perform a D & C of my uterus. All of this without medical insurance.
Finally got a new job at a local bar waiting tables and was promised 4 days per week after a one month training/probationary period. After a month, my shifts didn't go up but I wasn't contacted about my performance until my boss TEXTED me to have a meeting with him, where he fired me for being "too professional" and refused to elaborate, also informed me that he "extended the training period by two weeks" because he "wasn't sure about my performance" and decided since I was still on probation the last two weeks that he didn't have to pay me for it and never filled my tax information so there is no record of me ever working for him, other than whenever I try to get another job in town I am told that I lied about my work history because I didn't include the job on the list because I didn't exist but when I do, they call and he tell them one of two things: either that I never worked for him and I must be lying and delusional or that I didn't "work" for him, I just trained and wasn't a good "fit" so I shouldn't have put the bar for previous work experience. Keep in mind, this is a small town with a State University in it, and my old boss owns nearly 1/3 of the property and is very well known in the area, therefor: I somehow need to overcome his poor reference to get a job which is proving impossible.

I am writing this letter to you in the hopes I can appeal to your compassion.I have been working in a job for two years now making minimum wage, where I bring home $1000 or less for a family of four. I am not writing this letter asking for a handout, but a hand up. I know that entrepreneurs sometimes give to charity, again I am not asking for charity but proposing a charitable donation to help me form my own business.

I had worked for a Criminal Defense Investigation firm here in Albany, Or. for four years between 1999 and 2003 and was making $3000 per month plus expenses. I was laid off due to Government cutbacks in indigent defense and was off work for three years taking care of my autistic son while my wife worked. I have since returned to work and she is now the stay at home provider for our son. At the beginning of this year I reacquired my Private Investigators license at the hope that my old boss would consider hiring me back, which he did not because he only hires people in the preferred workers program.

My research shows that there are only three investigators in the area and that two of them are ready for retirement. um, (my old boss) does not perform indigent defense anymore and would pass any work to me. As of now I work partial full time during the day to where I could not perform investigations without losing time off for work, (which I cannot afford) and the time I do get off in the afternoon is too late to start investigations.
I know that with my experience I could make this a growing business and could make enough money to keep it running and take care of my family.
I have already spoken to several of the Attorneys that I had worked for in the past and have been told that they would definitely engage my services if I could provide services at regular hours.

I would like to come up with ideally $50, 000 which would cover the cost of me leaving my job for a year and leave me with $38,000 to purchase most of the basic equipment I would need for start up. If I could come up with $12,000 that would give me the capital to keep my household expenses covered for 6 months to a year, which would give me the time to get established in the business.



I know from experience that I could make this work, and that it would generate revenue of approximately $100,000 to $150,000 per year. Myold boss is making over $450,000 per year now and only performs surveillance.

My Background in this field is roughly 15 years experience, I was a Reserve Police Officer for three years through 1995-98, I resigned when I was ordered to file a report which was false and would have cleared an Officer of a wrongdoing. I refused, so I was harassed and passed over for full time employment for having integrity.
I have four years as a Criminal Defense Investigator and in those four years conducted over 250 cases with a 95% success rate. The people I kept out of jail or prison were innocent and wrongly accused by the Police. My boss stated that I had a natural instinct for investigations and I was given cases ranging from Assault to aggravated murder. I also have two years surveillance working inside a casino, where during my employment I was responsible for over 200 drug related arrests and even received a letter of commendation from the Polk County Sheriffs Office.

I have looked into every option I can think of to try and start this business on my own, Grants, Small Business Loans and Personal Loans (which you need good credit for both) and have come up with nothing.
My last option is to write to entrepreneurs like yourself and try to convince you to help in my plight.
The State of Oregon now pays $35-$45 per hr. for indigent defense, and the Federal Government pays $65 per hr. I know from experience I can work 4 to 5 cases per week as a single investigator, paying my wage of $15 per hour plus expenses. Leaving $20 to $50 going into the business every hour worked. That would give me a $600 per week salary and put $800 to $2000 per week into a business account. Yearly business income could be well over $100, 000 at the higher range of pay.
This business would greatly improve the community in which I live, giving fair and honest investigations to those accused of crimes unjustly and providing jobs for my son and others as the business grows.

Okay, I am coming quickly to the end of my rope before I lose my home or lose my food. I have applied for work daily and I need other sources of income to hold me over until I can find steady work. I am willing to perform anything to make some money but even simple jobs to perform I cant find local. Any ideas? I have a computer and good software.

Until one day while at work I bent down and tore my left medial meniscus in my knee. I suffered for 8 months before my surgery, till workers compensation settled everything.
I returned to work after 12 weeks and was able to perform my duties for around 13 weeks till my knee finally had enough. The doctor put some permanent restrictions on me of which my company could not accommodate.
I needed a profession that would supply for my family, plus one in which I was able to execute without any problems from my knee. So I looked towards the medical field. In September 2010, I embarked in a course of Diagnostic Sonography. I am getting ready to go into the meat of the program this fall, but now my workers compensation case has took a turn for the worse. It looks like the benefits will soon be subsiding and with the program I am in it will take about 60 hours or more per week . I am at my wits end trying to figure out what I can do to supply for my family and still accomplish schooling that will help us in the future. I have about 2 years of school left.
Some may say, “Why does not your wife go get a job”? My reply is always what are we to do with the children? The only family we have in the area is my mother who is 80 and in bad health. To pay a sitter would be quite expensive. So we are at a lost for what to do.
We student loans, but that isn’t enough to pay the bills. Also we don’t have any bills other than living expenses like rent and utilities; we don’t have credit cards or auto loans.

Lately, I've been concerned about my sneakers.

I feel like I've lost as much as I can lose in the past 2 years: my mom, aunt, uncle, my cats, most of my possessions. I've taken a string of live-in in exchange for free rent positions, helping people who've needed a housekeeper, pet sitter, companion for the terminally ill. None of these jobs PAY MONEY! Plus, it's a big strain living with slobs who don't even flush the toilet. UGH!

I used to live alone, and I really miss it. This is my dream:
Buy a mobile home, furnish it, etc. I'd like to sell and perform with puppets! I love puppets! I love the way kids are so attracted to them; their faces light up! And kids talk to the puppets, rather than the puppeteer! So, I need money for a home, a business, and clothes.

I'll be 50 in July! This girl just wants to have fun, and make fun for others, too! And have a decent pair of sneakers. :-) God Bless!

On December 16th 2010 I was robbed by a female whom I did not know. When she was caught with my vehicle, wallet and other personal effects she claimed that I had held her at gun point, asked her to perform sexual acts and got her drunk. To make things worse she is a 16 year old Mexican high school student who has everyone fooled and on her side.

The funny thing is…..if this were all true, why didn’t she contact the police; Tell someone…her friends, family, at least mom and dad? It was a domestic dispute at her home between her and her mother about my vehicle that lead the police to be called. Then the story came to life! Why didn’t I call the police myself?? I believe that I was drugged.

My family (5 children), reputation and life all hang in the balance. I am in desperate need of a GREAT criminal defense attorney which I have found. The problem is….my ex-wife (after being married for 23 years) took my 401K’s, the checking and savings account and left me with credit card debt, child support etc. The attorney I have found has estimated a total of 60K for the entire case with a 25K retainer!

I will work off the money, repay it….whatever it takes. I am a former Air Force man with a college education that could be a solid performer in any organization……in any capacity.

I just want my life back and I am not financially in a position to defend myself. HELP me please!

I've spent over $7,000 on root canals & extractions over the past few years, and I'm almost done with the necessary work. Then I can move on to what my dentist sees as the best solution for someone in their 20's- 4 dental implants supported by partial dentures. I have 3 empty spots in the front of my mouth, and I'm so self-conscious about them that when I smile/laugh, I cover my mouth with my hand and feel very silly. I don't have any molars or the teeth right in front of them, so I chew with my front teeth only. I turn down any invitation that involves eating, and it's very depressing.

I have 1 more root canal to go- on a tooth that hurts every day. I've reached the allowed outstanding balance with my dentist, so he can't perform the work until I pay my bill. I can't take pain medication other than at bedtime because I have a full-time job, a part-time job and a son who needs me to be alert when I'm home. I have an existing loan for a car repair that was done so I don't have that avenue. I am literally begging for any help that you can offer. I always told my son that if I ran into a pile of money I would find people who really need help & donate some of it to them. I will keep my word that some day when I have extra money (it has to be in the near future, right?!) I will come back to this site and donate to others who are in difficult situations. Hello, my name is Robert. I have a disabled wife that I try to take care of and I lost my job two years ago. I have been struggling with a sever tremor in my hands causing them to shake all the time. There are not any jobs that I can perform anymore because of the shaking. Social Security says I can think but honestly I can’t find a job where I don’t have to use my hands. Due to this we are struggling to pay just the bare bills but not anything leftover for food. If there is anyway you can help, even just a dollar then bless you and I will pray and give thanks.

I am a jobless, crippled, single mom of two, in need of approx. $35,000 for an operation to remove a mass in my brain which has caused progressive loss of mental, neurological and physical function over the last two years. I have been crippled and had to undergo comprehensive rehabilitation therapy in order to be even able to stand. As of now, I am walking with the help of walking aids. Doctors say the decline is inevitable and will continue to progress unless the mass is removed. Doctors are able and willing to perform the operation.

I lost my job when I started ailing and the father of my kids left me when I got crippled. My parents are old and doing the best they can to help with the kids. I just need to get better so that I can go back to taking care of my kids like I did before. Please help me. The operation is scheduled for November 2010.
