My 1997 Chevrolet has stopped running. I overpaid $2700.00 for it, and now to fix it, it will cost more than it's value. I live far away from my job where I just started working this week after looking for work for more than four months. So in a nutshell, I'm completely broke.

I decided that the safest route to go would be to buy a scooter, as they're more convenient, there's less likely for something to go wrong, and they're cheaper and better on gas. However, I have absolutely no money to buy one, and since I have no vehicle or transportation what so ever, I won't be able to make it to work, and this will only make my situation worse.

I have found some very nice used scooters for $500 on craigslist nearby. I would so incredibly grateful if you could help me with this $500 and I will have NO problem paying you back $100 or more a month via. paypal until I have paid you off. I can't take out a loan because I'm only 20 and haven't developed enough credit to do so (trust me, I've been down that route).

If you do this for me, I will be able to get to work, by groceries, and keep on going until things get better for me. Also, I was recently accepted into Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and a scooter would be perfect for getting around a place like that.

That's all I need, just $500. I'll pay you back monthly, I'll also give you any information you need in order to prove to you that I'm good for it. We now watch as wealthy investors snatch up the homes once financed by real families and foreclosed on. But in the time it takes to rebuild the credit we need to get financed, these moguls will have all of the properties and be renting them out to all of us who could not hope to own under these terms.

Good morning, my name is Missy Jensen. I have 3 little girls in elementary school and a gorgeous husband and I thought my life, though simple, was perfect. We've never lived beyond our means and have tried to do the best by our family. We've given to lots of charities (mainly World Vision and Red Cross) and never thought we'd have to ask ANYONE for even a penny.
I don't know if "Medical Bills" is the right category but medical is why we can't pay our other bills and are in trouble with the bank over our home payments.
Since #3 was born I have had a bowel resection following them finding colo-rectal cancer - and I thought that was the end of it. I now have a prolapsed uterus (sorry.. this area of my body is a disaster) which I need to have operated on. I have to pay for that operation but also I'm scheduled for a routine staging colonoscopy at the same time. This is TOO MANY BILLS! I am praying that this will be the end of it and I can return to full-time work in the next 3 or 4 months but I'm scared since my whole body feels quite battered.

My father left us a few years ago so its me (19), my sister (20), my mother, and my little sister (8). My cousins are truly terrible people for they non-stop pestered when we would be leaving and basically kicked us out a week before christmas because and I quote "they needed room to put up their tree". After we went back to New Jersey and stayed at a hotel in point pleasant which is where we are now. With much trying and hard work my mother fixed up her credit and we are now much closer to buying a house. We found the perfect one however we have no money for the initial 1,000 because we need to pay to stay at the hotel and my hours have been cut bad. On top of the at the end of May the rates for the hotel go up to 200 a night. My mother is beginning to think maybe we shouldn't be doing this now but know if we don't then we wont ever move forward. I am a 39-year-old woman living in the Nashville area who has been off of work without pay for the last month. Though I am employed full-time, I have run out of paid time off and am currently on medical leave until I can have back surgery. The surgery itself is not complicated, but it would entail 3 days of a hospital stay, 2 weeks of physical therapy to assist in regaining my mobility, and 4-5 more weeks off before I can return to work. This surgery, though necessary, was unanticipated and I do not have money saved to sustain myself for another 2 months off. I do not have children, so I am ineligible for cash assistance through local government. I do not have short-term disability through my employer. I am ineligible for short-term disability through the government because my condition does not require that I am off work for 12 months, nor will it result in my death. I am also not being allowed to withdraw from my retirement for hardship reasons because, according to them, I am -only- contributing the mandatory amount. I also do not have -perfect credit- so I am unable to go out and obtain a loan for what I need. I have tried so many avenues and have hit dead ends each time. My goal is to raise $2500 to cover rent and expenses for up to three months: 2 months of actual recovery time and an additional months worth for incidentals and to give me time to return to work and have regular paychecks come in.
