Trying to fix the damage my own uncles and aunts forced on my family

Posted by FamilyMan1986 on 2012-05-05 05:58:20

Sometime ago, my grandparents, Anthony and Mercedes passed away within 2 years with my grandpa being first, but before that came about, my grandparents dying wish, was that after they passed, that the money they had saved up would be split between me, my uncles, aunts, father, mother and sister. So my uncles and aunts promised my grandparents they would do that, we all agreed.

Also, my grandma wanted a big funeral with everyone she knew to be there. But after she passed, my uncles just disappeared, and my aunt Gloria robbed my grandma out of her own funeral, she only invited 6 people out of 50, stole all the money that was supposed to be for the funeral and split between us all, which totaled up to a little over $100,000, and she took it all for herself and her husband, moved to Nevada, and pretended like my mom, dad, sister and me didn't even exist, worst then that, is that she never apologized, my uncle Dave did nothing, and either did any of my cousins.

They promised to fulfill my grandparents dying wish, and I believed them, my grandparents believe them, and in the end, they stole from their own parents, my grandparents. I begged my aunt for an answer on why she did what she did, and she never came clean, she never once admitted she was wrong, and worst then that, she ignored me, and my mom, dad and sister. It's just the four of us, and we're financially struggling worst then ever before, because we were betrayed. This has effected my sister the most, because her depression has been getting worst, and because of it, she has tried to kill herself a few times because of how things turned out, but she didn't, although I couldn't stop her from cutting herself.

I am currently the only healthy person in my family right now. My mom is disabled and has cerebral palsy, my father is ex-military who is also disabled, and just recently, he was hit by a car and can no longer work, and my sister has asthma. I'm 25 years old and currently unemployed, despite the fact I went to college, I can't find a job anywhere. My mom too, went to college, earned her degree, and she can't find a job either. I worked for a several years, but was let go because business was slow. Since then, I've been selling my stuff left and right just to get through and to help my family, but it's not enough.

If there is anyone out there that can help me and my family, I would be eternally grateful and thankful to you, and to the good Lord for this blessing. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and God bless you.

I need to make $200 per month to pay off my loan please help!

Posted by Aydan on 2012-04-30 23:58:57

Hello Everyone
I am a woman with cerebral palsy who is wheelchair-bound. I am looking for part-time employment. I have a bachelors of science in criminal justice. I also have some postgraduate training in public administration. I am looking for employment because I have to repay a $10,000 loan I took out my graduate education. Unfortunately I was unable to complete my graduate degree because I became ill. Now that I have recovered I would like to have steady work so that I can pay off my loan debt and hopefully once that is paid off return to school so I can fulfill my lifelong dream of helping military veterans have a better quality of life. Because of Medicaid restrictions I can only make $200 per month without losing my benefits. While I was in graduate school I worked alongside the veterans organization at my university where I performed budgeting and other administrative tasks. I have a resume available upon request. If you are interested in hiring me please e-mail me at donanausmc@gmail.com
Thank you for your time and consideration everyone
Sincerely Aydan

Please help me LIVE a little bit longer.

Thank You so very much for your help. Heres my story. I am in my early 30s. I am a mother of two loving kids ages 4 and 9. My husband moved out a year ago after a bout of depression, stating "I love you thats why I cant stand to stay here n watch you die like this!" And it is true anyone who has watched a loved one waste away before thier eyes can tell you it eats your soul. In a way I cant blame him. I have hopes we will someday get our family back together. Untill then I am in this alone, and now find my self here asking you for help.
I have several cronic illnesses. Including scoliosis:Scoliosis is a sideways curvature of the spine that occurs most often during the growth spurt just before puberty. While scoliosis can be caused by conditions such as cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy, the cause of most scoliosis is unknown. My scoliosis curve got worse, the spine rotated and twisted, in addition to curving side to side. This caused the ribs on one side of the body to stick out farther than on the other side. Severe scoliosis can caused back pain and difficulty breathing. In my case In severe scoliosis, the rib cage may press against the lungs and heart, making it more difficult to breathe and harder for the heart to pump.I also experience harsh neurological affects of Muscle weakness, Numbness and Abnormal reflexes. To save my life I had to have surgery.
Surgery involves correcting the curve (although not all the way) and fusing the bones in the curve together. The surgeon lays bone grafts across the exposed surface of each vertebra. These grafts will regenerate, grow into the bone, and fuse the vertebrae together. The bones are held in place with one or two metal rods held down with hooks and screws, helping to support the fusion of the vertebrae.I went through all this at age 13. But now with the onset of sevral more cronic illness complication from the surgery that once saved my life now slowly kill me.
Years later I began getting sicker and sicker by the time I was 20 my spine was degenerating causing horrible pain, I had to have my appendix removed, then gallblader went bad. We never dreamed these all had a common factor. Doctors just shook their head proclaiming :you are just so young for your body to be failing like this". Eventually it was discovered I have Lupus and severe arthritus. Lupus is an autoimmune disease, meaning that the body' s immune system mistakenly attacks healthy organs and tissue. Lupus can affect any part of the body, causing inflammation and damage in joints, skin, kidneys, heart, lungs, blood vessels, or the brain. More than 90% of people with lupus have skin rashes, often triggered by exposure to the sun, and about half have kidney and lung problems. Because lupus affects the joints, it is considered a rheumatic (arthritis) disease.
Upon this discovery things began to make sense. So doctors now knowing why began a body wide check up to see what all has been affected. One test was A bone mineral density (BMD) test measures how much calcium and other types of minerals are present in a section of your bone. Your health care provider uses this test, along with other risk factors, to predict your risk of bone fractures in the future and detect osteoporosis. Bone fracture risk is highest in people with osteoporosis. They found I indeed had osteoporosis at the age of 22. SO now My bones are weaking causing damage areas all over my body, but the most serious being in my spine. Now comes the arthritis/lupus, they see these damaged areas and my own imune system attacks. Eating at the damaged areas creating even more damage, which increases the area the lupus attacks. It is a vicious circle. I have now been treated with medication over 10 yrs. But they can only slow the illness there is no cure, and dure to my scoliosis and the metal rods in my back surgical treatment options are very limited.
The damage is so severe I was decared legally disabled by the age of 23. My only income is SSI. I have to support my children and I on 658.00 a month. Thank God the court issued my ex to pay my rent in lue of child support. I am asking for help to cover upcoming medical bills. In the last 14 months I have had 5 seperate kidney surgery. My right kidney is damaged and I will soon be having a 6th surgery. This one to remove damaged section of the tube that leads from the kidney to bladder. then they will reattach at a higher section of bladder. I will aslo be having several Jaw surgeries. Due to exposure to radiation, osteoperosis a excessive vomiting of stomache acid my teeth are breaking and falling out. The doctor needs to repair what they can and put in inplants for what they cant. This will slow the degineration of my jaw. Without this treatment my jaw is going to cave in. Currently I am only able to eat mushy foods. I have drastically lost weight and my body is stuggling to heal due to the stress, pain and infection. So I hunbly beg of you to help me 1.00 or 50.00 anything would help. These procedures will not only improve my quality of life but aslo help extend my time here on earth just a little ehile longer. I just want to be with my kids as long as I can.Whith each dollar you donate its like adding an hour to my life.....What would you give for a few more hours with the ones you love?

Please help me LIVE a little bit longer.

Desperate times

Posted by rottencandy on 2012-03-08 20:58:38

I don't want this to be another single mom sob story, but unfortunately it may sound that way. I have 3 precious little boys, one who has several special needs (austism, cerebral palsy, ADHD) and requires a lot of attention.
I lost my job a month ago and have gone through all of my savings not that there was much there. I am about to be evicted, my car was reposessed two days before Christmas, Merry Christmas!
I want to move to a small apartment near their school, I just don't know how. I can't afford the $17 a day in bus fare so I walk the 9 miles home and to their school which eats up most of the time between drop off and pick up.
I feel like I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place!
I am a 32 year old single mom who is desperate need of some financial assistance. I am actually two months behind on rent due to me loosing unemployment temporarily. I can not afford to be put out on the streets with my daughter who is disabled. She is 11 and has cerebral palsy. We have already had a rough start to to the year and this was just an added stress. Please can someone help me an little helps. We currently owe 3,000.00 in total including the court fees. Any little bit would help. I tried to get a loan and assistance from charities... It seems everyone is tapped dry... Please help...

Thank you,

A worried mom,

Michelle

Help with transmission bill

Posted by cathbred on 2012-02-26 07:58:08

I need help paying to get the transmission on the only vehicle that I have. I am a single mother with a child with Cerebral Palsy and last week the transmission on my vehicle went. I do not have the $2300 that it is going to cost to repair my vehicle.
My very ex-boyfriend stole my credit card and run a bill up of £5000.00 without my consent or knowledge. I am a single mum just trying to get on in life. This whole situation has caused me so much stress that I now have Bells Palsy. I can't even afford the interest repayments. If anyone could spare any amount of money, I would really appreciate it. Every penny helps towards bringing the bill down!!!!.
I never want another relationship again. I just want to clear this debt and move on with my life... Thank You for reading my story......and if you donate any amount to me then "God Bless You" and "Thank You with all my heart"....

In need of a kind person to help with bills

Posted by angiebay on 2012-01-03 13:58:31

My husband and I both have cerebral palsy and are dealing with chronic pain every day. He is working a retail job for little pay and I am unable to work due to my condition and pain. We are behind with bills and really struggling due to me not being able to work and our health expenses. I am hoping we can get back on our feet and I can try to work again once I get my pain back under control. If you are reading this and are able to help I ask you please do. It would bless us very much and I will bless someone else in need when I can. Much love, Angie.

I am a wheelchair user with Cerebral Palsy. My roommate (who is also my caregiver) needs gallbladder surgery. HELP us move to get help for our disabled baby and find work

Posted by jonesybonesy on 2011-11-24 12:58:03

In 2009 our son was born very prem.
We had lost 11 babies to miscarriage and a daughter to
Stillbirth.
Our boy is a true miracle as my wife has a blood disorder.
Our little man has mild cerebral palsy and autisim and we try to help him to our best abilities but due to me losing my job when the company i worked for, for 5 years went bust things are beyond tough.
The worst thing of all my boss wasnt paying my social security contributions so by spanish law we only get 59 euros a week for 3 of us to live on.
This also means he only gets emergency health care. No vacations, physio or speech therapy.
My wife and i live on toast so he can eat better but its not enough.
We have 9000 euros of debt and owe 9 months rent.
We will be evicted soon.
Both my wife and myself wish to return to the uk after 10 years here but we need money for flights, warm clothing and money to rent an apartment.
With christmas coming up it will be another year and the economic situation is getting worse here.
My son and wife need urgent medical treatment this situation is so terrible.
If you can help you would have our gratitude and prayers forever.

I'm a 50 year old man with a mild case of cerebral palsy who has strove his whole life to be working in spite of the disability....however because of the lack of prompt reporting I now have an overpayment of over $6,000 and the SSA has lowered my check from $371 dollars a month last year to $100.21 this year citing the reason is that I'm making too much (I only bring home about $934/mo. take home pay, so with the $100.21 from the SSA I have about $1034.00/mo. to pay about $1150.00 of bills each month...this is the first time I've faced going under and I'm quite scared. I am willing to pay everyone back who helps and can show proof of anything you need. Thank you and God Bless.

Temporary Help Needed to Get Financially Back on Track

Posted by jewels on 2011-09-17 02:58:11

My name is Julie. I am writing in hopes of finding some help for my current financial situation. I sincerely hope that this is real and that someone can offer some help soon. I really do need some help and I am searching for some alternatives. I have applied for gov’t. help but have not found any hope so far.

I am currently unemployed and not quite sure what to do about it. Although I am looking for work I am not finding what I need. I truly believe that if I could just find a way to make it till the end of Oct, I can make things work out and be back on my feet financially.

I never felt like I needed a glamorous lifestyle, but I do need to survive. My youngest daughter is still living with me and my granddaughter (Rebecca) recently moved in also. She is ten and needed to get out of a negative environment. I am trying to help them, but the situation is taking a toll on my ability to keep up and accomplish what needs to be done.

Rebecca’s mom, my oldest daughter, was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy (CP) at birth. Although she overcame many of the common symptoms of CP, her condition has deteriorated since she entered her twenties. Rebecca’s dad, we recently discovered, has long since suffered from severe mental illnesses. He was recently admitted to a psychiatric ward and later moved into long-term nursing care. Because of my daughters’ mental and physical handicaps she is not able to properly care for Rebecca by herself.

I was this family’s greatest advocate to keeping them together as a family unit and I hate that things have worked out the way they have. But I believe I am only beginning to understand the depth of the problems this way of life has had on Rebecca and how much she needs me.

She is a very smart 10 years old, but exhibits behaviors associated with mental disease. She has been labeled learning delayed and I am frustrated that her delay is caused by the learned behaviors of her parents and not because of her intelligence or ability to learn.

Although Rebecca is in a much better place now, I am struggling to make it financially. I have been working on some projects and am hopeful that with a bit more time, they will work out. Right now I am in danger of loosing our apartment and not having a place to live, as I have not been able to come up with all of the money for rent for September yet. I still need 425.00 for Sept rent, and 242.00 for the past due on the light bill. I have not given up and am continuing to find ways to make it all work out.

I figured up what I need to catch up the necessary bills and expenses through the end of October. I need to come up with $2,215 to make it to the end of October. I sincerely believe that I will be able to get things back on track by Nov, if there is any way I can find a way to catch up.

I feel that I should ask for what I need and be really grateful for any help that I receive. I have always tried to help others in their times of need and always encouraged the pay it forward process. I do hope that what goes around comes around for me this time.

You can contact me through email at jklmiester@gmail.com

Thank you for taking the time to consider this information and request, It is so hard to get the whole point across in just one page, but I did not want to take up too much of your time. I truly hope you can help us out.

Sincerely,
Julie Miester
I live in a small cramped apartment with my husband and kids, my son has palsy and my husband had to stop working to take care of him full time. Our place is so small and the neighborhood has got really bad, nearly everynight you can hear gunfire going off in the street. I hope and pray that a bullet does not enter our home, I'm trying my best to work and get out of this place but no one will rent to me because i have bad credit from along time ago. I wish could buy a home for us, it's so hard sometimes I just feel like giving up, no one will give us a chance, we are good people. Please if anyone could help it would be such a blessing for my son and our family...he deserves better.

Single Mom w/ severely handicapped daughter, 18

Hello. First of all I appreciate anyone who is reading this and considering donating to anyone here. I am a Navy veteran, single mom of an 18 y.o. girl who has cerebral palsy and developmental delay. I have 3 jobs (1 full-time, 1 part-time during the week, 1 weekend.), and I lost my weekend job for the first 5 months of the year (approx. $800-$1000./mo. my good paying job). I am back now to work but have fallen behind in rent. My clutch went out last month and that $650. wiped me out completely. I now have run out of time on my car payment deferment and I own for April, May and now June rent at $1000./mo. My landlord has been very understanding of my situation and does not want to evict me but I have not been able to catch up. I have never asked for the help of perfect strangers and I'm putting this in the hands of God either way. Anything you can do will help. There is no donation too small. Please feel free to contact me at leneeq7@yahoo.com for more info, questions or just to see we are real people in real trouble. Thank you for your time.

I am 21 year old single mom. I was in college before I got pregnant and was planning on going back after my daughter was born. Unfortunately she was diagnosed cerebral palsy and requires ot and pt as well as speech therapy. She has so many appointments. I currently work at a restaurant making close to nothing. I tried finding a new job but no one wants to hire me because of my situation knowing I will miss work often
if I were to get enough money to get on my feet it would change my daughters as well as mine. I would be forever greatful.i know my story may not compare to others but I cant express how much I would truly appreciate any help. I feel like I have no where else to turn.
