Hello, My names Kaylee and I am in need of a little help if possible. My parents divorced this year and it ended with me, my mum and my brother moving to a 2 bedroom repossessed property that is in dire need of repair. My mum works, but her wages only cover our necessities and there’s no room to save for the house to be repaired. Me and my brother help where we can but we are on little wages ourselves. We currently have no ceiling or flooring in the lounge and kitchen and every wall in the house needs repairing and painting. We also need a sofa and other bits of furniture as we currently have plastic garden chairs. I have a friend who is a builder and is willing to do all the repairs for us, it's just the part of raising the money for materials that’s an issue.
I would be most grateful for any donation that could help towards my cause and I know it’s not life threatening and in some people’s eyes not a lot of money but for us it could make a huge difference to our lives. My mum suffers with Bipolar and this can have a huge impact on our everyday life, with the house in such disarray this can cause my mums behavior to be very erratic and disorganised, I just feel with a home she does not need to worry about that it will help us all to lead a better quality of life :)

I am a 50 year old man.I take care of my mom as to shes been a tempamental diabetic since she was 31.She also has severe neropathy.After my fiancee had paseed away in 2004,I was left to sell our house and to start a business so I take care of my mom and work.The idea I had was to do lawn care,painting-interior and exterior homes,haul unwanted items to the dump for customers I acquired from my business I started after selling my house.I was able to persue my dream business in LawnCare ,and was able to provide my mom with the assitence she needed. Since 2006 I have saved her life more times than I have fingers and toes.This job is also conveinent because if my mom or someone calls me with an medical or any kind of accident emergency I can leave my job to help, return to finish it after I am done.My customers are aware of that precedure since I informed them when I acquired them as customers.Since 2006 when I started my business and purchashed all my equipment needed for the lawn care business,some of the important pieces of equipment had stopped working such as my lawn tractor and weed eater. I still have my pick-up truck and trailer,blower,hedge trimmers,and push lawn mower.I am behind on my property tax due to not being able to work as well.I still have all my customer contacts and willing to get more when I can advertise again, but I'm sure I have lost some since I have'nt been able to work.I hope someone can help me get back on my feet I will be much appreciative to them as I will offer you free service due from my greatfulness ! In 2009, I was made homeless by Hurricane Ida in Virginia. That same year, I became disabled with COPD, sciatica and fibromyalgia. It has been a long, slow process of recovery,pain, poverty,and the accompanying humiliation. I have had to give up my car, my cottage, and my job.

However, thanks to the efforts of very dear friends and some self-made luck I finally have a stable living situation, and the strength to embark on a new career as a writer and self-publisher of Spiritual and New Age materials.
Writing is where I find my greatest joy, (followed closely by my painting) and my experiences have given me rewards of perspective that makes the challenges I still contend with somehow worth it. I'm looking to help others find the inner strength and hope that I found through my own crisis.

My computer, however, is almost 8 years old and between the "pages not responsive" and "Chrome has crashed", system crashes and stalls, etc it routinely takes me up to 3 hours to upload anything to the site. I have very limited energy, and this can take up an entire day.
The the age of the machine means that it is limited in terms of upgrades and networking.
I've learned and done all I can to keep it running this long, but now I need a new one if I am going to be able to do the kind of heavy-duty publishing and posting to make it in this field and become self-sufficient.
I am looking for $5,000+ to cover the following costs:

I need help with some cash. My bills are piling up and Im being threatened to be evicted. I am an able bodied worker but there is mostly only factories where I live and they are never hiring or will call me back when a position is available. I havent got any calls so I am on here as a last resort. I have a 2005 chevy cavalier with only 89,ooo miles. the car is practically new on the inside. it still has the styrofoam for the jack and everything. it blue books at 7900.00 but i am willing to take alot less because it needs a little work. the parts n all is less than 500.00 total. I am a retired 67-year-old man living on a very small pension. Hi everyone. I am a 35 year-old single mother of a 14-month-old baby girl and she is the light of my life. When I found out I was pregnant my boyfriend left me and has been in hiding ever since. Child support has not happened yet, as they are STILL trying to verify his wages. They say he is collecting unemployment now.

I work, doing a couple of different freelance jobs, but lately work has been very slow. I couldn't pay rent October first and am being evicted. My landlord is being very strict, and trying to make an example out of me because they are trying to get a modification for the loan on the building to keep it out of foreclosure. My car is $260 away from being completely paid off and the collectors call every day.

I start a new, steady job on Nov. 1 but until I start getting paid I'm barely scraping by. I get $300 a month in food stamps temporarily but no cash aid because they say my $500 a month in unemployment benefits disqualifies me. How they figure that much is enough for a mother and child in Los Angeles is beyond me. I have no one to borrow money from, and no where to go when they force me to leave. All of my family is on the east coast and they are all broke too. I'm not even a month past due with my rent, and if I have the money by the time I go to court (whenever that is) the judge will probably let me pay it and keep the eviction off my record.

So I owe them $1495. If I could pay it, I would be able to put in my 30 days' notice and actually get my security deposit back after I leave.

Maybe you have this extra money to help someone in need, or maybe you have an apartment you could rent out to us when we do leave. I would feel very depressed and unsafe living in Section 8 housing.

I'm trying so hard. If you can help at all it would be an answer to my prayers. You can meet us and see that our situation is true if you would like also. And maybe I can pay you back and/or offer services like babysitting, tutoring, balloon twisting, face painting, etc. We can talk more on the phone.

HI my name is Amber, Im 28 years old, but look like im like 16. Why you ask, because I'm short, like 4'6, but my personality is big. Im just down on my luck right now, hoping for a miracle.

I was born with neuroblastoma, which is a cancer that affected my spine. Doctors told my parents I wouldn't survive, but here I am. Gave me severe scoliosis though, hence why im so short. I like to say, who wants to be straight, thats soo unoriginal. I have 2 kids, which packed on 10 pounds, im now 90lbs, I know not a lot but I'm 4'6 remember ;o)

But anywho, because Im a bit crooked, the weights kinda given me a love handle on one side, and one hangy boob, picture a picaso painting, lol. So I'd like to get money to enhance my appearance... I know I can't change my back, but the love handle I sure would love to target ;o) So I've never asked for money like this before but I figure it can't hurt. I suppose I don't expect to much to come out of this post. After reading what other people appear to be going through, my situation may not seem to be as desperate as compared to theirs. With that said,I am not going to make up a sob story to make my case seem more than what it is. Nevertheless, to me my wife and three young boys these are desperate times.
We are in the process of putting our home of 10 years on the market. We are attempting to sell it before the bank takes it from us. We have until September before the bank takes it. We have struggled on and off for the past 5 or 6 years. A failed painting business and 2 job layoffs really pulled the rug out from under us. We just need a bit of help to see us through the next few months. We have no other family to rely on and no other means to generate money. I am currently working full time during the day while my wife is working 2 part-time jobs at night while I stay with the boys. Yet it is still not enough. Let me be clear,we are not dead beats looking for a free ride. We are hard working people who would like to think that we have a positive future ahead of us. With your help we hope to make this happen. We have decided that any donations that we receive will be paid back to the St. Judes Childrens Hospital in the form of a charitable contribution. I have never had to beg before in m life. I can't believe I have to resort to this tactic at the age of 55 years old. Exhausting all my savings.

Here is my story.. In April 2008 I was laid off my Shop Manager job for a construction company after 5 years employment.

Shortly after I was only able to secure a Desk Clerk job at a old run down former Holiday Inn, here in Salina, KS.with a room as part of the compensation. After 2 years of employment there they had a infestation of bed bugs and the owner wouldn't do anything about it and I was really ate up by them, didn't know why I had bites all over me until I visited the emergency room. Upon returning to work I asked the owner to pay the hospital emergency room bill of $380. He said he would but still hasn't done so after presenting the bill to him.

I was able to get $106. a week unemployment though which put me living out of my 1989 Jeep pickup that I had. I built a box on the back that I cared my positions and slept in a Wal-Mart parking lot. I put ads on craigslist for house painting and got very few jobs but once in a while I could get a room so I could clean up and get some relief from the heat that summer sometimes hitting 106 degrees.

Finally August 5,2010 I found a job at a Car Detail shop and was able to get a cheap motel room. This is hard work now for a 55 year old man, but I persisted even though finding out the owner was a drunk. I came in on pay day one day in September only to be fired because he didn't have the money to pay the help. Even after filing a complaint with the Kansas Labor board he has managed to avoid payment.

Then I meet a man that had an old house for sale that was willing to help me out and I was able to make a deal to buy the small home for $2500. , $500. and $100. a month till paid for. No gas , No electric, No Water, it was a wreck none the less a shelter for the winter coming up. I put a ad on craigslist to sell my truck so I could make the deal and within a week a couple had purchased my truck and I was able to make the down payment and moved the few things I had left in and make a bed. The neighbors were nice people and insisted on running a electric cord through the window so I would have lights and I had a little electric heater to stay warm.

I was still running the ad on craigslist for painting and through the grace of god got a pretty good painting job that netted me $1300. After waiting 4 weeks to get paid for that job ( the company said the check was buried under paperwork on his desk when I called the day before Thanksgiving wondering why I hadn't received the check) right..

Any way I paid the payments up till February 2011

In November the city heard I was living in the house with out electric, gas and water and sent me a notice and posted a notice to vacate the premises with in 30 days or be fined $500. I called them and said I was working on it and they gave me till December to have it up to code and inspected for $150 city fee. I didn't know what to do but kept applying for jobs and praying for someone to call and have some painting done. A friend of mine was a electrician and came over and told me what I need to pass the electric inspection. I called around and there was one company that would do all the inspection so I scheduled the inspections and passed the electric December 24 2011 and I called to have it turned on and they couldn't do it till the 26th, all gone for holiday. The gas line was a different story, the plumbing company spent two day correcting the problem and left me with a bill of $1400. that I have only been able to pay $40. on.

A 50 year old man I had made friends with Russ, while working the motel told me he had to quit work because he
was dying from hepatitis and didn't know what he was going to do, he had been homeless while I was for a while, so I told him he could move in 2nd week of February 2011, he was waiting on unemployment and should be coming in any time now, But the motel wouldn't let him stay with out paying.

He did get a good size unemployment back payment and 2 days before the utilities were to be disconnected we got the utilities and the house payment caught up.

Because of the unemployment he was getting SRS has cut off his and my food assistance and he has been denied disability and has to get a lawyer to handle it. I have been applying to every job and submitting my resume to every job online and in the local paper with not 1 interview. I do have a company that said they will call me as soon as they get some work themselves.

Russ my roommate will get to were they have to extract the water that builds up around his organs. The Dr said he has anywhere from 1-2 years to live and I would like to make him as comfortable as possible. I cook all the meals and take him to Dr appointments and to pick up his medication.

The gas is all ready going to be shut off this next week because we missed a payment on the cold weather agreement and now owe $689.35

me and my family"s home burned down 3 days ago it was our first home we have been painting and buying everything we needed 2 make it perfect and wasnt in there 30 days and have lost everything......

I've had a rough life from the beginning! I was an unwanted child of teen parents, so I got passed around a lot. I had traumatic childhood, being subject and witness to my mother's drunken escapades and those of her boyfriends. I've been on my own since I was 16, with no family help. Determined to graduate High School, I got a job and rented a room, then graduated nine months pregnant. I had my second child at 20, so I married their father. He shortly thereafter started cheating on me and became abusive. After watching my mother being abused as a child, I vowed to myself that I would never tolerate it, so I left him. He then stalked me and broke into my apartment and strangled me. I had a near death experience, but was lucky enough to come back to care for my children. By the time I was 26, I doubled my family, because I had twins. I thought their father was my soul mate, but low and behold, he cheated on me and then became abusive too. Originally, I took all four children with me and stayed in one room, but it was so tough on my twins, as they were only 3 and weren't allowed to play where we lived. Since their father stayed in the house we were buying, he talked me into letting them stay with him, but it was only supposed to be temporary. Truly, he didn't want to pay child support. He said since I had two children with me and he had two with him, nobody would have to worry about child support. What a joke! He ended up collecting welfare, so the DCSE started collecting child support from me, even after he got married. Here I am single mother, struggling to make ends meet, while he's married and getting child support from me. To make matters worse, my daughters' father didn't pay anything. He’s also remarried. I tried to take him to court, but can't do it, because it brings back PTSD from when he stalked strangled me. One year, my income was $300 too much to get the earned income tax credit, so now I owe IRS $2000. To top it off, I had been struggling at work, due to a neurological disorder and got laid off for a while. After several months, I found another job, but then suffered a closed-head injury and got laid off. I've been unemployed for 4 years now. The child support added up, so now I owe A LOT (like $10,000)! I applied for disability, but they denied me, so I've been trying to do work for myself, but just trying to pay bills to live and care for my daughters has taken all my money, so I've not been able to get the other stuff paid off. Due to my neurological disorder, I can't work in an office environment, as it makes me very ill and I can't function. I'm currently trying to build a marketing and design business, as well as a ministry for the homeless and battered women, but I really need help getting these bills paid down. I'm starting from scratch with my design biz, as my hard drive died and I lost all of my work. I am a very creative woman, with writing, painting, graphic design, marketing and more, and know once I get things off the ground I will really do well. I need assistance getting some of these bills paid down, so I can live my aspirations. I really want my daughters to go to college, but can't support them. I wish to get caught up, so I can be more supportive of my daughters than my family was of me (their support to me was nil!).

30 year old female artist from Scotland is seeking help to fund one academic year at the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics in Chengdu, China, from September 2011. I dream of studying the Chinese language and painting the urban landscape.

I am not eligible for the usual Chinese government or Confucius Institute Scholarships that most people use as I am too old/too long out of education.

I am a sophomore student currently attending a community college. Up until now, I've been able to pay all my tuition without the assistance of loans, my family, or major scholarships. But as of late, my part time job has been cutting my hours drastically. I've gone from 15 hours per week to just 6, and though I've pleaded with my manager for more hours, she refuses to give them to me on the basis that it is winter and the 'slow season' (how there can be a slow season in fast food, I don't know). I was barely scraping by as it was,now I don't even know if I'll be able to make enough money for my spring quarter.

On top of that, I'm transferring to a bigger university next autumn to double major in 2-D Studies(with a specialization in painting/drawing) and Creative Writing. It is my dream to become an illustrator and comic artist and to tell stories with images and words. As it stands, I need roughly $19,000 per year to pay all my expenses including tuition, housing, food, books and art supplies. Considering the abysmally small amount of financial aid I can be guaranteed to get($5500 in student loans per year), this is an insurmountable difference to make up.
