help with paying my bills

Posted by miljo1 on 2012-05-20 14:58:20

I am confident, responsible young woman from Poland. I am a hard working and ambitious, stubbornly strive to end. But there are things that I will never overcome ... political system, unemployment, legal and economic conditions.
Books of Brian Tracy and Robert Kyiosaki won't help me , no seminars or personal trainer. I want to fulfill my dreams, I want to have the possibility to study, travel, and in the future, I want to live in my dream home.

At the moment i'm unemployed and I realy need your financial help to pay my bils and fulfill my dreams.

I have a precise plan. I know it may take some time but I am prepared for this.

Need help getting back on my feet again!

I recently got divorced and my ex-wife took our car that was paid for to leave me with the car that I found out she hadn't made a payment in over a year on it. I thought we were a few months behind and when I ask for the bank payment slips with the bank phone number on it so I could call and arrange a weekly payment schedule to get caught up she didn't know where it was. She had actually thrown it away so I wouldn't find it. Its a small bank the wasn't even in our town so I couldn't drive up there to talk to them. I asked for the bank name so I could google it but she supposedly didn't know. Well about 2 months ago I was at work and the car got towed! I'm stuck without a car and can't work because I have no ride. She had planned to divorce me and then leave me stuck with a car that wasn't being paid for so it would be towed and leave me without means of transportation so I could work. She always paid the car payments and screwed me over so bad. It sucks. I always use to work 2 jobs and made the most money in our household. She had us move back to her home town in a house that her brother and his girlfriend lived with us so that when we got divorced I would be forced to move out. I'm staying with a friend but I pay rent and it's so hard to pay rent and save for a car when I can't make it to work most of the time cause he or his girlfriend are working and their jobs are far away. I would be so happy if someone could help me get back on my feet by getting enough money for a down payment for a car or even enough to buy a really old cheap car that can at least help me to get to and from work ok! Any amount of donations would be so very appreciated. I have linked my PayPal account to this plea for help! I beat cancer 2 years ago so I know if I could beat cancer I can overcome this obstickle with just a little help from some kind hearted generous people! I pray that someone will help me. I'm not looking for $20,000 for a brand new car I just need to raise $500-$1500 so I can use it for a down payment on a decent used car or just buy a running cheap car. I would need a few extra couple hundred dollars for my first insurance payment also. Once I get that I can go back to work full time and pay my payments on my own and also my rent. I my prayers are answer I will be truly blessed and once that happens I will start helping others in need on this site also. If someone helps me it would be only right once I'm back on my feet to help others who could use a helping hand. We all have ups and downs and struggles but sometimes we truly do need just a little help from someone else to get back up!

I truly pray that someone will help me in this rough time. I want to thank you ahead of time in helping me out. You truly are wonderful people all who help me by donating! God bless you. To everyone else that is strugglIng right now there is hope and there is light at the end of the tunnel!

God Bless!

Any donation amount will be truely appreciated!

Since today is Mother’s Day, I wanted to share my journey thus far and what it’s meant to be a mother for me. My story is unique in that I’ve overcome various obstacles to gain what some may call normalcy. Now I’m facing a struggle in which I’m hoping to tap into the kindness of the internet in order to help me through this hurdle.

I was raised by a single parent and grew up in a town where most families were on some sort of government assistance and could barely make ends meet. I was always taught to value what I had and that hard work will always bear its fruits. My high school was filled with kids who didn’t care about getting an education. I was a introverted “nerd” who took Honors and AP classes and saw education as a way to get out of a town that didn’t have much opportunity for growth. While I valued my education, I was also bored to death, even in my “accelerated classes,” so I stupidly acted out and started to party as high school kids do. I ditched class to drink and dabbled a bit in drugs because there was nothing else to do. Even as I partied, I still managed to remain on the honor roll for all 4 years. Fast forward to the beginning of my senior year, our class had 250 kids and throughout the year approximately half of the student body dropped out at one point or another, giving up on their 14 year investment in their education. I made it to the end, but while everyone was excitedly responding to college acceptance letters, I had to throw all of mine out. Why? I was pregnant. I fully accept responsibility for my actions, but sex was not talked about in my household. I had no idea I had access to birth control or condoms and foolishly made a mistake that would change my life. I went to my prom and graduation 3 months pregnant without anyone knowing aside from my family.

The summer after graduation was spent brainstorming options and finding a job to help support my unborn child. I decided to keep the baby, thinking I would give it up for adoption. I was too immature to take care of myself, and now a baby? No way. As the months progressed, I fell in love with the baby and decided to keep her and raise her with the help of my family. I was excited but deep inside I was depressed. I really wanted to go off to college and live the life of a student living on campus, making new friends, staying up late to cram for midterms and possibly travel a bit. I couldn’t do that anymore and the thought of experiencing college in any other way didn’t entice me. I also knew if I didn’t get an education, I’d be stuck in a cycle of dead end jobs all my life. I knew I didn’t want to struggle like I’ve seen my family fight just to put a decent meal on the table and keep the lights from getting shut down.

I started college two months after my daughter was born. She was perfection and an incredible motivator. I’ve always thought that she deserves something better, beyond what I can give her but I decided to try my best to give her an amazing life. Since I just had a baby, I wanted to explore the opportunities I had outside of a traditional classroom in college. Luckily, the local community college offered online courses which only required me to be in class on the first day, at midterms and during finals week. I did this for a year and a half until I took every online course possible. Then it was time for full immersion into college. Here came daycare and having to balance college life with working and a small child.

My average day in college looked like this: we’d have to wake up at the crack of dawn so my daughter and I could ride a 45-minute bus to school. Unlike most of my classmates, I had to dash straight from work to class or go to work right after class so that I could pick up my daughter from school at a proper hour. I was very fortunate to land a job in a small office as an office assistant during college that would later prove invaluable. The pay was ok, but I was allowed to tailor my schedule to be compatible with my changing class load every semester. After our day was done came another bus ride. Once we got home, I’d have to make dinner, pack us lunch for the next day, prepare her backpack with extra clothes plus wash and prepare a day’s worth of bottles for my daughter. After I put my daughter to bed was the only time I had for homework. I’d stay up until about 2am every night doing my reading assignments or writing papers only to have to get up 3 ½ hours later to start my day again.

I did this every day for 5 ½ years.

Was it worth it? Heck yeah. I got my bachelor’s degree on my wall as proof. I am the first person in my family to ever get a degree. I have multiple relatives my age who ended up dropping out for various reasons yet I managed to graduate (with honors!) while juggling a small child and a demanding job. Aside from raising my daughter, this is what I’m most proud of thus far. I read online that less than 2% of teen moms attain a college degree before age 30. I’m stoked beyond words to be a part of that 2% (Source) I hope that this struggle and success will set an example to my daughter and show her that hard work does pay off.

After college, I worked a few jobs that I wasn’t too keen on. Too corporate, too stuffy, too bureaucratic to evoke any change and make an impact. I wanted to wake up every morning and feel inspired to go to work. I didn’t just want a paycheck, I wanted to engulf myself within organization so that I could kick ass and take names. I also wanted a 401(k), health benefits and life insurance so that my bases could be covered in old age. But mainly I wanted to wake up invigorated every morning and be able to pay my bills. After college, my daughter and I moved into our first home. I loved waking her up in her room filled with the girliest of things. I was a proud mama–on my own, college educated and living life as an independent woman.

Independent but unfulfilled. That is, until I was introduced to the CEO of my most recent employer. We hit it off immediately and within two week was offered the chance of a lifetime. I was invited to join his multimillion dollar company and close-knit team as his right hand. I’d learn all the in’s and out’s of running a business in a dynamic industry and receive a nice salary. After a bit of contemplation, I decided to resign from my stuffy job to join a company I was proud to be apart of. My job was great. It was flexible, nurturing, educational and insightful. In a few short weeks, I was in the trenches with my boss handling everything from sales to contracts to finance to HR. That is, until the company suddenly went out of business. I won’t get into the details but I was told I’d have a month before we were all let go. This was the job I wanted to settle in and dedicate years to, not just a job really but a mission to which I was dedicated.

I was laid off in March with no severance pay as the company had nothing. I had a small savings which I tapped into as I began searching for a job. I had to file for unemployment for the first time, which was hard as I’ve prided myself on not having to use government resources to pay my bills. I have almost a decade of solid work history and yet I’m struggling to find a job. Places are hiring but they’re scarce and don’t always offer pay that can support a family.

My bills are piling up and I have family and friends that are in no position to help me out. Unemployment can only pay so much and it isn’t enough to put a home-cooked meal on the table or keep everything paid. I’m in the process of starting up two businesses–one that peddles vintage finds and another that provides folks with stellar resumes to land their dream job so that I can increase my cash flow, but in the meantime, I’m asking for any donations to my cause. I’m willing to offer any services in return for a donation over $30 via paypal. There’s a button below where your transaction will be processed safely and gratefully!

Please pass this on and +1 it, favorite it, retweet it and share in any way possible! No action is too small or unappreciated.

Thank you so much for letting me share my story with you.

Mom of 4 has Rare Cancer

Posted by mommy1011 on 2012-04-27 14:58:30

I am begging for my friend. Lisa is a wonderful mother of 4. She has had a tough life and had to overcome many hardships, one of the biggest was helping her 5 year old daughter battle leukemia. She is separated from her emotionally and physically abusive husband and raiding her two youngest children alone with no financial help. She was just diagnosed with an extremely rare form of uterine cancer and had to undergo two very major surgeries and is now recovering.
Lisa has done so much for her family and friends over the years, she deserves to have something given back. She is in very serious financial trouble right now and her utilities have been shut off. She has not been able to work and her ex is not helping. Any financial help would be appreciated. Her dream is to take her children on a vacation to Universal Studios in Florida. Her children have been so brave and supportive of her, she would like to give back to them.

Completly Stuck

Posted by MREMBO on 2012-04-11 01:58:36

I greet you all great people. I am a 28 year old woman from Kenya. Currently, I am experiencing financial difficulties, my husband is unemployed and i have to support my family as well as his family. My younger sister relies on me to pay her university fees. I earn a meager salary that barely supports me for two weeks before i turn to seeking help. Mine is a one time request to anyone willing to help me overcome this temporal situation. I believe against all odds that my husband will get a job to supplement my income.

Kindly hear my pleas.
Best regards.

law help

Hi, I’m Kenny a Filipino-American urgently in need of $340 to pay an attorney to finish my legal Complaint. I originally paid the attorney $300 to begin the Civil Complaint and was under the impression that would be sufficient for him to complete it. But two days ago he told me that the principle cause of action has taken considerably more time (3hours – he only charges $100/hour as he has a full time law job in Oakland) to compose in a strong fashion. I desparately need help, the merits of the case are 95% in my favor. I have an aging grandfather (79 years old) who I need to pay back with the proceeds from this lawsuit.

I would be help to verify everything I’m saying to that person who is willing and able to help me overcome my impasse. I would be willing to pay back this gift once the suit is settled.

Please, please help me.

Drowning In Debt, Please Help

Posted by XandraHM on 2012-02-17 03:58:00

Hi,
Whoever you are, thanks for reading this post and if you choose to do so, your donation.

Let me just make my story short and simple. A few months ago, my parent's power was shut off due to a late paid electric bill. Wanting to help my parent's out I willingly shelled out the $1000. Unfortunately, I had an apartment contract that I was unable to cancel and it ironically was the same amount. Since I was unable to pay the apartment complex, I was turned over to a collection agency. Now the bill keeps mounting higher and higher and I'm looking for a job, but so far with no luck. I'm getting married in June and I don't want to burden my fiance with this debt; he really doesn't deserve it as it was my own fault for not paying off my own debt before paying someone else's.

I take full responsibility for the mess I've gotten myself into, but I know with your help I can overcome this and be back on my feet again.

Thank you for your help!

thing including medicine for my health troubled by asthma and education. But
she can no longer afford any of this.

i was hospitalized for many years because of the asthma, but was able to go
back to school and should be completing my diploma this June, but now i
can't even attend classes, i have no fees. I really want to complete my
education, i don't want every thing to end here.

I have overcome many challenges, i fight hard to provide myself with what i
need, but am stuck, i need help, i have real and big dream ahead of me. If
someone out there hears my cry for help, please give me a hand with my
school fees.

Hello I'm posting here because I don't know where else to turn and there is little hope. I guess a quick background I was divorced and left with all of the debt. A few years later I met a girl who like me was abandoned by her ex but only she had a an infant. We fell in love and became a family. She was riddled with debt a well. I am trying to support this family while paying off a $30,000 debt at the same time. $5,000 of which is owed to the IRS by 4/15. I am starting to lose hope but I am trying to stay strong for this little girl. I dream everyday of being able to overcome and provide a safe place for us to call home permanently; but right now it looks like I could lose everything. I am asking for any kind of help, even prayers not just money. To everybody in he same shoe as I am, I will give my prayers as well and if I should ever overcome....I give my word to come back and help. Thank you for your time.

Leaving a Domestic Violence Situation with 2 small children

Posted by domesticabusesurvivor on 2012-01-25 22:58:50

As hard as it was to just pick up and leave an abusive (both physical and mental) of 12 years, it was even harder to have my youngest daughter who is 3 walk up to me and say "mommy why are you crying, is it because daddy is mean too you?" That absolutely melted my heart and gave me the "final straw" scenario to leave my husband, and take my children so that they can be raised in a non-hostile environment. This decision has definitely come with a number of hoops and hurdles to get over. It doesn't scare me that I am now going to me a single mother, but its all the responsibilities that come with that title.

First hurdle, I had to overcome is finding a place for myself, 3 year old daughter and 1 year old son to live. There is a very limited amount of shelters for women with children, so we ended up staying with my bff in her 1 bed/ 1 bath 695 sqft apartment. While this is only temporary I am glad we at least have somewhere to lay our heads at night. Not to mention I work, 67 miles from my BFF's residence, and my kids school is another 80 miles away. This commute has almost been impossible to make, but my choices are limited at this point.

The things I so desperately need help with now is ANYTHING in your heart or power to do. Donations thru paypal are great and would help tremendously. I have to find a place closer to work and my children's school, I have my daughters school tuition of $385 due every month.I am lucky that her school is working with me considering the circumstances. I also still have to buy diapers and wipes, and organic food because my son has asthma and allergies. I never wanted to be rich, I just don't want to have to worry every week. I hope to be in a better position one day where my fiances not only allow me to live but also to help out anyone else in need.

Domestic Violence is such a mind game, it took me 12 years to see beyond the tricks and realize the damage it has done to not only myself but my two small children who are like sponges. Their behavior lately has me thinking that they will definitely have to go to family counseling in the near future.

Anything that is in your power to do will be so greatly appreciated. .50, $1, $5....whatever will help me rebuild our family unit. My husband mot helping me or focusing on the kids is his way of getting to me, but I cannot and will not ever go back. If anything please keep my children in your prayers, I hurt for them because I could not provide them with a traditional two -parent home. They are getting the short end of the stick and as a mother who is all about her kids...it hurts! Thank you for taking the time to read my story. If you are in a similar situation my prayers go out to you as well.

cancer patients need donations for wigs and headwear

Posted by ptfurball on 2012-01-24 15:58:00

Could use your assistance please:

I have owned a wig salon for over 20 years
my main focus is helping ladies, children, and
men deal with the effects of chemotherapy
that causes their hair to fall out. I see
so many people of all age groups that struggle
with the purchase of a wig and some headwear.
Most insurance companies do not pay for a wig
(cranial prosthesis) in medial terms. Most
women feel that losing their hair is almost
as devastating as being diagnosed with cancer.
Most ladies have famalies and small children
that don't understand the changes taking place
to their mother. That is way it is important
for Mom to look as normal as possible.

I carry name brand wigs that look so real
and natural for work or home. The smiles and thanks I receive are heart warming, it just makes you wonder how they will overcome the
hand they were dealt. I already discount the wigs as low as I can but still the really nice wigs are expensive (lace-front,mono-top).

Please help me help others - I would appreciate donations to purchase more wigs and headwear and give them to families that can not afford this necessity while going
through chemotherapy.

My business is very well know in the community
and I work closely with the American Cancer
Society and local Oncologist. Many people have
been through this process and know that a wig
and headwear are so very important through
the journey of cancer treatment.

Veteran Needs Help

Posted by sboisvert180 on 2011-12-29 16:58:00

Marine Veteran and disabled needs help. My life could be a bestselling country song. I was an executive working very hard but suffered a divesting heart attack. Two, in fact. Tried to keep working but had no strength left. I was forced to retire. Also found out I had diabetes and didn’t even know it. To make matters worse I have foot neurophy and clogged arteries in both of my legs. Want to make it worse? I have two large kidney stones blocking my urine so I am forced to wear a bag on my hip until the stones can be removed. The VA will take them out but not until my blood sugar meets their stringent requirements.
To make a long story short I lost my job due to the heart attack, lost my beautiful home because I had no job (sold all my home contents first to try and raise money to keep it – failed), lost my great F150 truck, and even lost my dog. The only apartment we could get didn’t accept pets.
Thank God I am a Marine and learned to adapt and overcome. It has been three years but now I really need to ask for help. My wife and I have no insurance except what the VA offers (can't afford Medicare part B) and I already owe them $755 for co-pay on many medications. I have had to wait for a kidney stone operation for over a year now as they are booked solid for this type of operation. This operation, outside of the VA, cost approximately $1800. In addition I have numerous medical bills from my heart attack after care, diabetes and having numerous operations to remove two toes on my left foot. I sincerely want to pay these people as they deserve it but to do so I need help.
Please send whatever your heart will give. My wife and I will thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I'm so desperate that I'm giving this a try because I've tried everything. Well, I used to have a credit card, when I had a job, a year ago but the company where I used to work closed and I was left without my job. I've really been looking hard for a job since then but I haven't been able to get one, not even as a dishwasher. My bills are the only things that are accumulating and now I am tired of getting harassing calls from my bank. I used to use the credit card to help my family pay the bills, since we are always short in cash. But now I owe 1193 dollars and I don't know what to do. I've tried everything from looking for every kind of job, to donating plasma, to looking for income generating schemes, on the internet, but the latter is simply full of scams. I just want to pay my full debt, so I only have to worry about getting a job. I know this is not as bad of a situation as some others that have been posted here, but any help is welcomed. I just liked to add that I'm trying this because I can't see a ray of light saving me, yet. I think some of the stories I've read here are somewhat gloomy, but I want to assure you guys, that if I am able to overcome this problem anyhow, I will try to help you because I would like to be your ray of hope, at least for some people minimum. I don't think asking for help is bad, whenever people help, they bring a more justice to our world, in my opinion.

Need Financial assistance

Posted by salif2 on 2011-11-23 11:58:00

I have been working on a project for the past 3 years and when I am just about ready to request a 6000 loan to fund the 1rst phase of the development of my project, life could'nt be any harder.
I am confronting major credit card debt. Note that I am just 24 years old with a great sense of entrepreneurship. Four years ago, my brother used my social to get himself a 30 thousand dollar new car, I was naive and young, so I let him. He could not pay the bills and my record is completely sabotaged. I am also struggling to pay a 5000 school loan which has been defaulted in 2009.
Graduating in 2010 from college with a Finance degree, I thought a good job would help me overcome these hardship, but I have yet to even get a job.
I am truly struggling to get a business in place and shift in a new direction as an entrepreneur. I need help from some generous people, who know that success is shared deep from the bottom of the heart with those who will one day follow the same path. I am seriously in need of a financial assistance and I thank you in advance for your generosity.

I don't know what else to do...

Posted by alice on 2011-11-15 15:58:06

I started at a four year university this fall, the first in my family to ever do so. I am a highly independent person and don't feel comfortable begging for money, but I don't know what else to do.
I have been blacklisted and unable to find work, meanwhile I'm unable to pay my rent, buy groceries or school supplies, not even basic toiletries; I have been without toothpaste and toilet paper for 3 weeks. I have no friends that can help, they all either have children or are unemployed and unable to spare any money for me. I don't qualify for any county aid because I made too much money earlier this year, so I have zero help for my medical bills that are now surmounting $15K, my car is going to be repossessed, I'm on the verge of eviction and half starving. My parents cannot help me because they are not in much better financial shape than me, I have not grandparents left and no valid cosigner to acquire an extra student loan. All of this while attending college for nursing, taking a 15 credit course load.
My savings are gone, my bank account is -$483.93 and counting, my landlord is evicting me in December if I can't come up with this month's and December's rent by the first of December. I am reusing everything I can, but am at this point only able to allow myself on very small meal per day or I will have NO food in one week. My cat is starving with me, and we have less than one weeks' food supply left and the food shelf here is so limited I'm on a waiting list. I have no cash, my fiancee's family won't help because they hate me and my fiancee is living two hours away from me, barely getting by as well.

I'm crying my eyes out in the school library typing this. It's the most humiliating and pitiful thing I've done in my life so far but I have no idea what else to do. Please help me. I've asked for help everywhere I should be able to find it but this is my last ditch effort. If this doesn't work, I don't know what I'll do. Please, anyone, anywhere, anything, help me. Anything would be greatly appreciated, even a few cents. I know I'm not going to get out of the situation that I'm in by using this site but all I could hope for was a little relief. Any help and I will consider you my saving grace and do my best to pay it forward when I get done with Medical School, if I make it that far. Please and Thank You for reading my story.

If you want the details of my life came to this, here you go...
I quit my great paying job of three years to concentrate on school more closely in June.
Since school started in August I have had the following happen:
A nervous breakdown caused by an imbalance of hormones from ovarian cysts that I had to seek medical attention for and cost me my job in absences.
Got engaged to the love of my life, and we suffered the loss of a child by ectopic pregnancy on September 9. I had to have emergency surgery as the ER dept. here did not figure out that was the problem until I was nearly dying. They had to remove the fetus, 15% of my left fallopian tube and had to perform a D & C of my uterus. All of this without medical insurance.
Finally got a new job at a local bar waiting tables and was promised 4 days per week after a one month training/probationary period. After a month, my shifts didn't go up but I wasn't contacted about my performance until my boss TEXTED me to have a meeting with him, where he fired me for being "too professional" and refused to elaborate, also informed me that he "extended the training period by two weeks" because he "wasn't sure about my performance" and decided since I was still on probation the last two weeks that he didn't have to pay me for it and never filled my tax information so there is no record of me ever working for him, other than whenever I try to get another job in town I am told that I lied about my work history because I didn't include the job on the list because I didn't exist but when I do, they call and he tell them one of two things: either that I never worked for him and I must be lying and delusional or that I didn't "work" for him, I just trained and wasn't a good "fit" so I shouldn't have put the bar for previous work experience. Keep in mind, this is a small town with a State University in it, and my old boss owns nearly 1/3 of the property and is very well known in the area, therefor: I somehow need to overcome his poor reference to get a job which is proving impossible.

Need Help Paying for Weight Loss surgery

Posted by mokat on 2011-10-17 14:58:39

I am 32 years old and I lost my father a few years ago. My father suffered very badly in his last years due to Hypertension and Diabetes. As I stood watching them bury my father all I could think of is that could be me. I was morbidly over weight. I had no education and my life was falling apart and like my father I had married a women that cared deeply for me but was coming to resent me for not making improvements in my life. I swore to myself I would not end up like that. That was 3 years ago, since then I have started school and will finish December of next year. I have a good job and bought a home for my wife and I. I work hard to insure that I am a good husband.
The only problem I have not been able to overcome is my weight. I have done diets, weight loss pills, I work out 5 days a week for 45min, and I count calories. But my weight is more or less the same. I lose 10 I gain 15. Right now I am 5 foot 6 inches and I am 297 pounds. My wife is a breath taking woman. She is smart, caring, and beautiful. We want children but she will not even think about it unless I lose weight. I love her and just want her to be attracted to me. I just don’t want to end up like my dad.
My doctor told me 2 weeks ago I need to really consider doing a weight loss surgery. My wife and I have worked to get $9000 together. We have sold a lot our belongings because our insurance will not cover the surgery. We just need $4000 more to be able to afford it. I am asking for help not just because I want to lose weight but because I want to be a better person. I want to hike the Appalachian Trail. I want to run a marathon. I want to be a father. I want to keep my marriage from falling part because I am over weight.

Thanks you.

Aspiring Peace Singer In Struggle...

Hi I don't know what to say...
I am a golden hearted girl trying to make a stand in the world.
I have a peace song dedicated to the Vets,Cultures,Children,Broken and Bruised of the World.
I have put my heart into standing up for my beliefs and people who have been hurt. I have lost people who I thought were my friends because I caught them hurting a child. This has hurt my heart greatly. I want to be an inspirational person. I want to help further empower people to be themselves {to thine ownself be true} I have overcome obstacles such as molestation and abuse myself to help these other people. I need just $2,000 to get a vehicle to be free of my familys negativity and control so that I can travel south and put my faith and energy into a dream. It is so important that I get out of here. Its actually a desperate situation I am in. I am surrounded by lots of people abusing substances and being emotionally abusive themselves. My own family is racist and rich but won't help me because they percieved my peace song to be an "anti-bush anthem" its alot of heartbreak and i feel if i could just get away from them and be with the people of the world-then my own heart could finally be at peace....

Just a Shot in the Dark...

Posted by hockeyluvr on 2011-09-07 18:58:07

We are all here for the very same reason, we need assistance & we need help. This is a little different for me as previously I had been the one linking others who were in need of assistance. I guess now it's my turn to walk in my client's shoes.

I've always found that when the smoke clears the situations we have faced and overcome were "end of the world" situations at the time. When actually, these situations ended up being not as bad as we originally anticipated. I have never asked others for anything no matter how bad things got for me and my family. Somehow things always find a way of working themselves out. I am the type of person that believes most things in this world happen for a reason.
I will not bore you all with my so called "Sob" story as I know there are others out there that are in need of financial assistance far worse then I am. I know this will be a long shot, but at this point I really have nothing else to lose. So here it goes, I am a 32 year old mother of 2 amazing boys, 15 and 8. I recently separated from my husband. We have been together for 7 years and only married for 1. He currently lives in FL & I am residing in MN. The reason for our separation was just recently my father had an anuyerism and was given only a 20% change to live. I drove 26 straight hours from FL to MN as I thought I was going to be saying goodbye to my dad forever. Obviously God was not ready to take a cranky old farmer/police officer as my dad pulled through with flying colors! Seriously, I am thinking God gave a second thought to his plans of taking my dad with him when he realized just how stubburn and what a pain in the butt my dad can be! I love my dad just the same as he is my Hero. Because my family is the most important thing in the world to me, I up and left my full time job in FL knowing the consequences of not having that job when I returned. Even after asking for extended time off my employeer would not grant me the time or approve FMLA so I could be with my dad. A whole different can of worms there! Well, since being in MN I have been assisting my mom in caring not only for my dad, but also taking care of the family farm, the family business of selling farm equipment and caring for their 23 horses.
I have depleated my savings and I have been denied unemployment. I currently live in a town with a population of less than 1,000 people. So needless to say, the job market is not booming. Thus, I have continously run into dead ends as to any type of paying employment. But wait, it gets better. I received a call the other day from my husband informing me that he feels as though he is no longer in love with me and would like a divorce. At some point I would really like a break honestly. So, this is why I am here today asking for a helping hand. I am in need of assistance to help pay for an airline ticket to FL so that I can gather not only my children's belongings, but also mine.
I try my best to find the humor in each situation as you maybe able to tell from reading this, but again I would really like for life to cut me a break. If you are able to help in anyway possible I would be forever greatful.

Thank you for your time.

Guilty until proven innocent

Posted by innocent on 2011-09-04 07:58:52

Hello;

I am a widower with three, nearly adult children who are poised to enter the world. By this I mean they are older from late teens to early twenties. Any of you who know of this age, understand what I mean. They are adult/children - immature, but on the verge of their launch into the world. They are living through a horror with me, and they do not deserve it.

We are currently living a nightmare. Since the middle of the summer, I have been the victim of a stalker/harasser. Because of the nature of the legal battle upon which I am about to embark, I cannot give the details here. In an ironic and horrifying twist of fate, my harasser has turned the tables and filed very serious, and VERY FALSE criminal charges against me. And, unless, I fight them aggressively, with the best legal help I can find for this type of case, I will be found guilty and incarcerated for crimes I did not commit. Lawyers tell me that this type of thing happens more often than any decent, law abiding citizen would think.

That said, the cost of this defense is staggering and far beyond the means of anyone in my family. So, what I am asking for is twofold.

1. Financial support
2. Legal help

I have heard that when asked, inmates always claim innocence. And certainly, in a venue like this, there is nothing I can say to convince a stranger that I am innocent. All I can say is that I AM and that the injustice being perpetrated against me is nothing short of horrifying. The one thing I am guilty of is bringing this monster into my life and impacting my loved ones in a way nobody should experience.

The legal expense has been estimated at upwards of $100k. Yes, $100k. Almost every legal authority with whom I have spoken express great concern for the seriousness of the situation but they also believe it can be overcome with the appropriate defense.

I have lived a good life and have always practiced the golden rule. I love people and people have always been drawn to me.

If there is anyone who can provide material, spiritual or legal help, please write me. I am very scared and face legal deadlines at the end of this month.

Best,
confidential
