I feel very uncomfortable coming like that asking money to people I even do not know. It is the first time of my life to acting this way, but we are so desperate that I decide anything to save my mom. We need help of any good soul to save my mom's life. She is 62 years old, a wonderful woman who worked really hard for her family for long time...she's has a diabetic rethinopathy in both eyes and doctors says she needs a surgery as fast as possible to save her sight. Unfortunately there is no technology appropriate where she is living, so she need to travel to have a chance to get appropriate care. And the cost of the surgery is pretty much expansive that we can not afford it by ourselves. She already lost her autonomy and every single day is playing against her. This surgery is the last chance to save my lovely mother from blindness. I am asking your help for any amount you can afford to help us get this surgery done. Hello, My names Kaylee and I am in need of a little help if possible. My parents divorced this year and it ended with me, my mum and my brother moving to a 2 bedroom repossessed property that is in dire need of repair. My mum works, but her wages only cover our necessities and there’s no room to save for the house to be repaired. Me and my brother help where we can but we are on little wages ourselves. We currently have no ceiling or flooring in the lounge and kitchen and every wall in the house needs repairing and painting. We also need a sofa and other bits of furniture as we currently have plastic garden chairs. I have a friend who is a builder and is willing to do all the repairs for us, it's just the part of raising the money for materials that’s an issue.

My wife and I have 3 children with another on the way. A few years ago I was a successful insurance and annuity agent, but the downturns in the economy forced me to get out of that line of work. I am working 3 jobs, putting in as many hours as I can, but with some recent medical bills we have gotten behind. Currently, we are totally broke, and our cabinets are getting pretty empty. We are a month behind on water and electric bills, our phone bill, and our student loans, and it is another week before I can expect any paycheck so I can get to the grocery store and catch up on a few bills. We don't have health insurance, and my work doesn't offer any group plan, so we have had to go on Medicaid for the kids and my wife's pregnancy. We have always been hesitant to seek out government assistance, but last month we found ourselves with no food to eat and behind on all our bills. We applied for SNAP (food stamps), but were told that we make $150 per year too much because of all the jobs I am working. If someone actually reads this I hope you can reach out and help my family. I guess where to begin would be difficult for me since having to hear about money started at a young age. I could give you a whole sob story but I am not going to I'll just tell you a little about ourselves. My momma was a high school dropout and had three kids me included, she never went back to get a higher education. She married my step dad when I was around seven years old. My middle eldest brother is mentally retarded and my mom did so much trying to help him but it did not work so now he is in a halfway house hopefully being set onto the right path. My step dad is somewhat of an emotionless person because of the way he grew up and because of a leg injury from last year has a hard time finding a job he can do despite all the searching he has done. My eldest brother is so smart but he's wasting his life away at a fast food franchise called cookout, but the brightside for him is he has found true love and expecting a baby. Now onto me I tried looking online to see if their was anything an eighteen year old like me could do to get some extra much needed money for bills but had no luck because they all need money first which is what I don't have. My mom and me have always been very close and im so sick and depressed of seeing her waste away trying to pay all of the bills with what little money she earns at a dead end job. I give my weekly paychecks to my mom just so she can make ends meet and we both only work part time due to all the cut backs on hours from the recession going on. I don't know what else I can say except it would be a miracle from God if something from posting this would happen because I am so unlucky I can't imagine ever winning anything and we are just an ordinary family nothing special about us except that we're in desperate need of a hero.

Im a 24 year old first time mom i gave birth to my baby girl January 31st. She is almost three months.. I lost my job at around December when i was 8 months pregnant. It was off the books so i couldnt do much about it. My fiance was working at the time.. things were already getting tough. He lost hours and days of work due to the business not doing good . We found ourselves stuck owing two months rent so decided to try and get cash assistance ... We were denied 4 times.. soo we stopped trying. They denied us because of income which made no sense because he wasnt making enough to pay rent... Over and over again they said it was a mistake but still we were denied. We now owe almost 5 months rent. We play monthly 881. In a studio apartment. We have to go to court and try and make a settlement. Im just scared because i have a soon to be 3 month old and i might not have a home for us. We cant get help anywhere else. Or from anyone else. Im not sure how this works or if it does work but its worth a shot. I dont know what else to do. Pleasehelp us.

Ive never done this before so i dont know what to expect from people, i'm just in desperate need of money and am running out of options. Basically me and my parter (21 and 19) moved out together about 5 months ago, she's at college and im still desperately looking for a job. Until now we have been able to just about get by by living off income support, only things have taken a turn for the worst. Our cat Yugi was hit by a car and needed surgery on his leg. It cost us £600 and now were seriously in debt. I owe companies such as british gas, souther electric ALOT of money and simply cant afford to pay them right now. We have had numerous letters threatening to send round the bayliffs and i'm scared for my partner and myself. Greetings, Me and my family are farmers located in one of the most remote and rugged regions of Himalayas in India where there are no access to roads or transportations. Our home and fields are situated over the mountain approx. 3500 feet above sea level where the weather is unpredictable which makes farming very hard and life unbearable. All the farm work is done manually by hand by the members of my family. We normally grow garlic in small quantities which we sell to sustain the family for a whole year. As there are no access to roads we have to carry the loads on our backs at times 50 to 80 KG to access the nearest road which is couple of hours down the mountain and is a back breaking process. Even to get small food items we have to be going through this exercise everyday for our survival. Our everyday diet consist of five or six rotis (wheat flour and water mixed and roasted like a pancake) with mostly dal (gravy made out of pulse) with occasional rice two times a day. At times we collect wild vegetables from nearby forest to supplement our diet. Because of lack of nutrition our health conditions also suffer many times in a year. Here even today babies are born in the house. Birth is supervised by one of the older village woman as there are no doctors or any qualified medical people. In cases of emergency we have to carry the patient on our back to the road and any medical attention can be gotten 15 kms further down the road. This has resulted in many deaths in past years with young and old.
Since last two years due to changing weather conditions and untimely rainfall our fields could not yield crops properly. We are poor farmers just scrapping through life trying to stay alive. Added to these problems last year three of my family members one of whom is a six month old baby had deteriorating health conditions which needed hospitalisation and medicines which cost us major portion of the money we could earn by selling our crop. Normally we earn about 50,000 INR in a year by selling garlic and we grow small quantities of wheat and corn enough to keep the family through the year. Due to these sufferings and extra expenditure am now in great distress to be even able to buy seeds to grow crop in our field to sustain ourselves. To have one morsel of food has become a nightmare for all of us and we are nine members in the family with two small babies of 8 months and two years. The future of our survival looks very bleak given the conditions and lack of health and finance to tend the field.
I would be highly grateful if your goodselves would consider me and my family a worthy cause to extend your help to us with 5000 USD which I can use to buy necessary seeds for the crops, few essential medications, a mule for transportation, fix the leaking roof of our home, do little maintenance to our field for yielding more crop and get me, my family andour field back on track as our field is the only source of our survival. Hi, my name is Kendra Lynn S. I'm 22 and living in Kansas City, MO. I'm originally from Ashland, KY but I moved to Missouri in August of 2011 to live with my aunt and work for her husband. I needed a change and needed to get away from a life that was killing me in Kentucky. I miss it sometimes and I miss my friends, but I met an amazing man here who loves me with all his heart and I plan to marry him and spend forever with him. We don't have a lot of money but we are getting by, we're just happy to be together. I work 2 jobs and he works full time at a bank, but we're having trouble raising money for a huge step in our wedding planning: I have to declare chapter 7 bankruptcy.
I have $10,043 in medical bill debt from an accident in January 2010 where someone hit me with a 4-wheeler, putting me in a coma for 2 months and then physical therapy and rehab after that. The original bill was $200,000 for the medical costs, but I received a scholarship to cover 95% of the cost because I didn't have health insurance at the time. While I was in a coma, I lost my apartment, fell behind on payments on my school loans, and my bills were sent to collections. Ashland Kentucky is a small town, and we're kind of a small family so I didn't want to press charges on the person who hit me. But when I met my fiancé and we started talking about marriage, I discussed my situation with a lawyer to determine what I should do.
We want to be able to buy a house in the future, but with this debt the lawyer was afraid that my credit will hinder that. The lawyer was also afraid that since my bills are in collections that if I get married that the creditors would seize my fiancé’s assets. My fiancé doesn't have much, but we are sharing his truck since I lost my car and if the creditors took his truck we'd be out the $10,000 remaining on the truck loan and without a vehicle. I decided I would try to press charges just for the cost of filing bankruptcy, but the person who hit me was the sheriff’s son. No police report was ever filed. Small town politics are good in most situations. This is not one of them.
The lawyer tried to do what he could, but Kentucky’s statute of limitations for filing suit against someone is 1 year. By the time I decided I needed to sue, it was too late. So I’m stuck with a bill I can’t pay and it’s the only thing keeping me from marrying the man I love. My mother is a medical transcriptionist in West Virginia, and she’s barely making enough to support herself and her boyfriend so I can’t ask her for help. My father has been in prison my entire life so I don’t really have anyone to turn to for assistance with this. My fiancé’s parents have been very helpful, but they only have so much to help with and they can’t assist us with the bankruptcy.
Me and Trey (my fiancé) are paying for the wedding and the honeymoon entirely by ourselves, on top of keeping up with rent and truck payments and regular bills. So here’s what I’m asking: any donation towards the cost of filing my bankruptcy would be a huge blessing right now. Some members of our church have offered to assist us, and someone referred us to this site. I
think it’s a great thing that people are willing to help complete strangers out and I wish that I had the resources to help others at this time. We’ve already agreed that we will do whatever we can to help others in need on this site once we can start setting more money aside once we’re married. My husband and I have been married for 30 years and have grown children. Most of our excess money goes toward helping them and the grandchildren. In the meantime our kitchen floor is almost falling through in three spots, our bathroom has mold all around the top of the walls and all our windows are completely molded. There is at least a half inch open space in our doors that allows cold/heat in so our electric bills are outrageous. We really need help in order to clear out the mold so ourselves and our grandchildren will hopefully not be affected.

We are in uncharted territory now that we are the ones in need for help. Being in construction, the economy has left us all but helpless. We find work whenever and however we can, but we need help getting over the hump until work gets better. We have rolled our change, sold our furniture, sold our cars, used all of our life savings and we are at the end of our rope. I was laid off last month due to my company downsizing. So right now it is only my husband that is working. I have been actively looking for some jobs and I have a few good prospects. However, if we don't come into money soon, we are going to be kicked out from the house that we rent. Our rent is about 1200 and I have some family that can loan us some of the money, but we still will be short by $400. The landlord is giving us an extension of April 5, to pay for this months rent. If we can't we may see ourselves on the street. We have two young kids (4 year old and a 1 1/2 year old. If you could please help, it would mean the world to us.

My wife and I bought an old house needing repairs. We thought we could fix it up ourselves because it looks so easy on tv. Anyway everything keeps falling apart on it. I have had my pipes burst twice, ac is out, foundation has cracked all the walls, electrical system shoots fireballs out of the breaker box.
I just want it all fixed. I need about 20k to live I. Safety. If everyone could just give me a bunch of small donations that would be great. Or if someone wants to give me 20 grand that would also be great. Lol. Thanks

I moved in with my girlfriend 2 months ago. I left Boston to come be with her in NYC. My work had run dry until April. She had just been evicted from her apartment by a slumlord landlord who stole her belongings. We were living from paycheck to paycheck. Supporting each other as best we could. We didn't have enough money to get an apartment of our own, so we got a one month sublet, which ended up being a nightmare-living in a closet with our 2 cats, and dealing with the scum of the earth roommates who made us feel uncomfortable, unwelcome, and awful. During that first Monty, we spent our savings just living. We both work in the creative fields, myself a musician, an she an actress. Work was spotty at best. We borrowed money from friends and family, feeling terrible about ourselves every time. Mid-month, I decided to file for unemployment. (something i had never thought I'd ever do)
The money we were expecting from that would have paid her union dues, giving her a pay bump by about 400%. This would have enabled us to not only survive, but get on our feet and pay back our friends/family. About a week and a half after filing, my boss calls me and tells me I can't file, or he'll go out of business due to the fact he's never paid insurance on his employees. He convinced me he'd cover my unemployment pay (totaling $4,343) if I agreed to recind my claim, thus saving him tens of thousands of dollars in back-taxes. I agreed. As soon as I'd done that- he tells me his lawyer advised him not to do that, and that he never agreed to that in the first place.
I have now been playing phone tag with my unemployment agent for weeks trying to restart the claim, and have the state go after him for the money he owes them.
Meanwhile, at the end of January, we had to move again. We couldn't find a place in time, and ended up staying in a motel in Stamford for a night while we made appointments to see a few places. We awoke to the front desk and housekeeping ladies banging on our door, telling us we have to leave or they'll call the cops. We are still fighting Hotwire.com for charging us for that.
Luckily, we found a place that night. The expenses of having to move though, totaled over $500. (rental car, motel, storage)
The apartment we are in now is shared with 4 other people. It's a two bedroom. There are 3 people sleeping in the living room. There are cockroaches. We once again have to move out, by March 7th. We have applied for foodstamps. (they have yet to be approved)
This time around, we have no money to move with. Our resources have been tapped. We are out of options. Work is still spotty, and we have borrowed from everyone we know.
We have a week to come up with rent, cell phone bills, and moving expenses. Nevermind money for food to ear everyday. (as I type this, we are preparing to go out and sell some things for food money)
I have never been this scared in my life. I doubt that writing this is going to make a difference, but I have to try everything.

If anyone reading this wants a specific number that would get us out of this- its $5,000. Here's the breakdown:
$1,000 rent. (not counting a deposit)
$1760 my girlfriends union dues (which means she makes enough to get us on our feet)
$175 storage fee
$250 cell phone bills (it's a month late, an we're on the same plan)
$130 car rental to get our stuff out of the apartment
$40 rental car gas (they charge $9 a gallon if you don't fill the tank when you return the vehicle)
$1,000 for food for the two of us and cats' supplies. (food,litter)
And the rest would be to pay back some of the people who've already been there for us helping us along the way.

Please. Please help. We are a young couple in love. Scared. Trapped. Out of options.

My fiance (Jacob) and I are in need of some help finding a home for our newly forming family of 7 wonderful angels. I am on disability and Jacob is working long hard hours at work as a painter and in school to earn a degree so that he can try and provide better for us and we both are working small side jobs when we can locate them just to put food on the table and do laundry. We fight every month between the two of us to make sure the lights stay on and the water stays running. We over and over find ourselves robbing Peter to save Paul, and always coming up short.
