Thank You so very much for your help. Heres my story. I am in my early 30s. I am a mother of two loving kids ages 4 and 9. My husband moved out a year ago after a bout of depression, stating "I love you thats why I cant stand to stay here n watch you die like this!" And it is true anyone who has watched a loved one waste away before thier eyes can tell you it eats your soul. In a way I cant blame him. I have hopes we will someday get our family back together. Untill then I am in this alone, and now find my self here asking you for help.
I have several cronic illnesses. Including scoliosis:Scoliosis is a sideways curvature of the spine that occurs most often during the growth spurt just before puberty. While scoliosis can be caused by conditions such as cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy, the cause of most scoliosis is unknown. My scoliosis curve got worse, the spine rotated and twisted, in addition to curving side to side. This caused the ribs on one side of the body to stick out farther than on the other side. Severe scoliosis can caused back pain and difficulty breathing. In my case In severe scoliosis, the rib cage may press against the lungs and heart, making it more difficult to breathe and harder for the heart to pump.I also experience harsh neurological affects of Muscle weakness, Numbness and Abnormal reflexes. To save my life I had to have surgery.
Surgery involves correcting the curve (although not all the way) and fusing the bones in the curve together. The surgeon lays bone grafts across the exposed surface of each vertebra. These grafts will regenerate, grow into the bone, and fuse the vertebrae together. The bones are held in place with one or two metal rods held down with hooks and screws, helping to support the fusion of the vertebrae.I went through all this at age 13. But now with the onset of sevral more cronic illness complication from the surgery that once saved my life now slowly kill me.
Years later I began getting sicker and sicker by the time I was 20 my spine was degenerating causing horrible pain, I had to have my appendix removed, then gallblader went bad. We never dreamed these all had a common factor. Doctors just shook their head proclaiming :you are just so young for your body to be failing like this". Eventually it was discovered I have Lupus and severe arthritus. Lupus is an autoimmune disease, meaning that the body' s immune system mistakenly attacks healthy organs and tissue. Lupus can affect any part of the body, causing inflammation and damage in joints, skin, kidneys, heart, lungs, blood vessels, or the brain. More than 90% of people with lupus have skin rashes, often triggered by exposure to the sun, and about half have kidney and lung problems. Because lupus affects the joints, it is considered a rheumatic (arthritis) disease.
Upon this discovery things began to make sense. So doctors now knowing why began a body wide check up to see what all has been affected. One test was A bone mineral density (BMD) test measures how much calcium and other types of minerals are present in a section of your bone. Your health care provider uses this test, along with other risk factors, to predict your risk of bone fractures in the future and detect osteoporosis. Bone fracture risk is highest in people with osteoporosis. They found I indeed had osteoporosis at the age of 22. SO now My bones are weaking causing damage areas all over my body, but the most serious being in my spine. Now comes the arthritis/lupus, they see these damaged areas and my own imune system attacks. Eating at the damaged areas creating even more damage, which increases the area the lupus attacks. It is a vicious circle. I have now been treated with medication over 10 yrs. But they can only slow the illness there is no cure, and dure to my scoliosis and the metal rods in my back surgical treatment options are very limited.
The damage is so severe I was decared legally disabled by the age of 23. My only income is SSI. I have to support my children and I on 658.00 a month. Thank God the court issued my ex to pay my rent in lue of child support. I am asking for help to cover upcoming medical bills. In the last 14 months I have had 5 seperate kidney surgery. My right kidney is damaged and I will soon be having a 6th surgery. This one to remove damaged section of the tube that leads from the kidney to bladder. then they will reattach at a higher section of bladder. I will aslo be having several Jaw surgeries. Due to exposure to radiation, osteoperosis a excessive vomiting of stomache acid my teeth are breaking and falling out. The doctor needs to repair what they can and put in inplants for what they cant. This will slow the degineration of my jaw. Without this treatment my jaw is going to cave in. Currently I am only able to eat mushy foods. I have drastically lost weight and my body is stuggling to heal due to the stress, pain and infection. So I hunbly beg of you to help me 1.00 or 50.00 anything would help. These procedures will not only improve my quality of life but aslo help extend my time here on earth just a little ehile longer. I just want to be with my kids as long as I can.Whith each dollar you donate its like adding an hour to my life.....What would you give for a few more hours with the ones you love?

Hello there i'm not sure how many post you can have on here so if you seen me before asking for help thanks you but this one for medical is really what I need, If you guys don't know what NF1 is it causes tumors to grown on your nerves, or on the skin even in the organs:( there is so much that can go wrong it's unreal:(( Well I'm 36F have had 4 major surgerys on my spin the last few were on the disk in my neck I had some tumors on the C2 and C5, it's scarey i never know whats next or even if i will walk if they come back i was so close to lossing that part of me.. Well i'm in alot of pain it's so hard to work but have too with the hospital bills that i can't pay they just keep pilling up along with everything else sucks:(( I just need the help to file bankrupted just so i can start fresh cause I know I will be back in the hospital it's just a matter of when ans where the next tumors will grow..

Hello, I have stage 4 colon cancer in both of my lungs along with other health issues. I do not like asking for help and I am sorry for needing to. I have not able to work since being diagnosed with colon cancer in Nov 2005 at the age of 38. I had surgery in Dec 2005 to remove 12 inches of my colon and was never given chemo. In Feb 2006 it was suspected that the cancer had spread to my female organs and I had a full hysterectomy in March 2006. There is no record of any biopsy performed on the massive cysts. In Feb 2009 I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer in both lungs. I do chemo treatments as needed to hopefully prolong my life. My doctors said surgery or radiation were not options for me, it would remove to much good lung tissue and cause severe breathing issues or worse. I have diabetes with numbers 200+ and take 6+ shots per day, high blood pressure, hypothyroid, and lower lung disease/COPD. I have been diagnosed with severe Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease which according to my every 3 month CT scans is progressing. My gallbladder and pancreas no longer functioning. I have terrible Neuropathy caused by the chemo and diabetes and I am allergic to Lyrica that might would help.

We are not going to have much of the holidays this year, if at all. I am not worried about that. We moved into this house and have had issue after issue with the heating and ac unit. The homeowners are not doing what they need. We have been paying $400+ electric bills in addition to rent, gas and water/sewer. We have applied for help but have about $15 to much income. We really could use some help with the electric or anything else you choose. I can provide the account numbers and phone numbers if you want, even a few dollars helps a lot.

If you cannot help there we could use help with food and/or personal items. I have hardly been eating for a variety of reasons. One being we do not have a lot of food. I drink a lot of milk, or try to, because it helps my stomach not to hurt and sometimes it is all I can handle. Another reason is I have not had the money for my medications like insulin so I have been doing what I can to keep my sugar down and that means not eating a lot. I am so tired of all of this. We are looking for another house because this one has caused this terrible ordeal with the high bills.

Please if you can help us it would be so appreciated. Thank you for at least reading this.

Lupus is a disease in which the bodies immune system attacks and injures the bodies own organs and tissues. I've been suffering with lupus for over 10yrs and it has caused me to develop kidney failure, heart failure, gallstones, hair loss, sores within the ears, sores along my chest, disfiguring scars along my face, gout, and rheumatoid arthritis. I was fired from my nursing job because my Lupus flare ups caused me to miss work and remain hospitalized for weeks on end. I was just informed today at the hospital that the carcinoid tumor in my appendix not only messed up my digestive system, but also my reproductive organs. As a young female, my dream in life was to become a mother. Now they can repair and save them....but for a high price. I cant afford the $750 Im down, and im not asking for one kind soul to donate that much but maybe if we all band together I can afford the surgery and be able to afford it....every dollar helps.

We're a warm and loving extended family. There is my husband, who works full time, my father who works full time, my mother who is disabled, and I'm a stay at home mother of 2 beautiful kids, Nikki, aged 12, and Corey, aged 3. We've been renting a house for the past 2 years from a family member. We found out recently that the payments we were sending were not being applied to the mortgage and the property is now going into foreclosure.
We do not have the credit available to qualify for a home loan. The bank will not work with us because we are not the "owners of record".
We have no savings to use to move and we can't do anything to save our current home. We're in limbo and we need help. My daughter has been on the high honor roll since we moved here, has made many friends, and has been recognized by both the school and the community for her outstanding contributions.
I have been searching for a job...any job, for over a year to help us get out of debt. I have failed.
We're hardworking...not lazy people. We did not mess up our credit with unnecessary purchases. Our debts include overdue utilities, student loans, and medical bills...not credit cards.
Every time we start saving money to start paying things down...something happens like the transmission letting go and we're back to square one.
We're not looking for a handout. We're looking for a hand up. Literally.
I have gone to such lengths as to research being a paid surrogate (which I was informed I could not do, since I had preeclampsia with my son.) I tried to sell my kidney on Craigslist...but apparently selling your organs is illegal. I do not know what else to do. My pride is gone...I done't want to be rich. I am very new to this sort of thing, never have I asked strangers for anything before but there has never been anything I wanted more than a baby.
Husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for four years and have failed (my fault) The reason we failed is that as a teen I was diagnosed with cancer and obviously my parents opted for harsh treatments to keep me alive, only problem is that the treatments had a terrible affect on my reproductive organs and wiped out my eggs so the only way I can have a child and give my lovely husband a baby is by having ivf using another lady's egg's.
We do work and try to save to pay for this on our own but do not really earn enough and it never seems to mount up to what we need (£7,500), I am also getting older and worry that my chance to be a mother will slip away.
I understand that there are people in what you may feel is worse hell than I am in but truly some days I struggle to understand why this had to happen to me.
If you feel that you can help we would be forever in your debt.

I have never had to beg before in m life. I can't believe I have to resort to this tactic at the age of 55 years old. Exhausting all my savings.

Here is my story.. In April 2008 I was laid off my Shop Manager job for a construction company after 5 years employment.

Shortly after I was only able to secure a Desk Clerk job at a old run down former Holiday Inn, here in Salina, KS.with a room as part of the compensation. After 2 years of employment there they had a infestation of bed bugs and the owner wouldn't do anything about it and I was really ate up by them, didn't know why I had bites all over me until I visited the emergency room. Upon returning to work I asked the owner to pay the hospital emergency room bill of $380. He said he would but still hasn't done so after presenting the bill to him.

I was able to get $106. a week unemployment though which put me living out of my 1989 Jeep pickup that I had. I built a box on the back that I cared my positions and slept in a Wal-Mart parking lot. I put ads on craigslist for house painting and got very few jobs but once in a while I could get a room so I could clean up and get some relief from the heat that summer sometimes hitting 106 degrees.

Finally August 5,2010 I found a job at a Car Detail shop and was able to get a cheap motel room. This is hard work now for a 55 year old man, but I persisted even though finding out the owner was a drunk. I came in on pay day one day in September only to be fired because he didn't have the money to pay the help. Even after filing a complaint with the Kansas Labor board he has managed to avoid payment.

Then I meet a man that had an old house for sale that was willing to help me out and I was able to make a deal to buy the small home for $2500. , $500. and $100. a month till paid for. No gas , No electric, No Water, it was a wreck none the less a shelter for the winter coming up. I put a ad on craigslist to sell my truck so I could make the deal and within a week a couple had purchased my truck and I was able to make the down payment and moved the few things I had left in and make a bed. The neighbors were nice people and insisted on running a electric cord through the window so I would have lights and I had a little electric heater to stay warm.

I was still running the ad on craigslist for painting and through the grace of god got a pretty good painting job that netted me $1300. After waiting 4 weeks to get paid for that job ( the company said the check was buried under paperwork on his desk when I called the day before Thanksgiving wondering why I hadn't received the check) right..

Any way I paid the payments up till February 2011

In November the city heard I was living in the house with out electric, gas and water and sent me a notice and posted a notice to vacate the premises with in 30 days or be fined $500. I called them and said I was working on it and they gave me till December to have it up to code and inspected for $150 city fee. I didn't know what to do but kept applying for jobs and praying for someone to call and have some painting done. A friend of mine was a electrician and came over and told me what I need to pass the electric inspection. I called around and there was one company that would do all the inspection so I scheduled the inspections and passed the electric December 24 2011 and I called to have it turned on and they couldn't do it till the 26th, all gone for holiday. The gas line was a different story, the plumbing company spent two day correcting the problem and left me with a bill of $1400. that I have only been able to pay $40. on.

A 50 year old man I had made friends with Russ, while working the motel told me he had to quit work because he
was dying from hepatitis and didn't know what he was going to do, he had been homeless while I was for a while, so I told him he could move in 2nd week of February 2011, he was waiting on unemployment and should be coming in any time now, But the motel wouldn't let him stay with out paying.

He did get a good size unemployment back payment and 2 days before the utilities were to be disconnected we got the utilities and the house payment caught up.

Because of the unemployment he was getting SRS has cut off his and my food assistance and he has been denied disability and has to get a lawyer to handle it. I have been applying to every job and submitting my resume to every job online and in the local paper with not 1 interview. I do have a company that said they will call me as soon as they get some work themselves.

Russ my roommate will get to were they have to extract the water that builds up around his organs. The Dr said he has anywhere from 1-2 years to live and I would like to make him as comfortable as possible. I cook all the meals and take him to Dr appointments and to pick up his medication.

The gas is all ready going to be shut off this next week because we missed a payment on the cold weather agreement and now owe $689.35

I am a mother of two wonderful children. My husband die unexpectedly in October of 2010.I recently found out that i have a disease called Lupus. This disease shuts down your vital organs one by one. I am Kriztia May Monteza.I am desperate enough where to get funds for my sick mother who is now on stage 4 Cancer who needs massive operation to prevent the spread of metastasis(spread of Cancer) in her throat thus I would like to ask medical assistance from you. My family is having financial problem which then had led the Cancer to be progressive because of the insufficient funds for operation. Now, my mother is terminally ill...severe pain claimed, and even soft food is not anymore tolerated. We can't just hardly buy her pain medical(topical anesthesia) which is very costly. The Doctor told us to have the last option and that is surgery(take away the part of her tongue) to prevent the spread going to her throat and other major organs such as lungs and breast. More so,after surgery chemo therapy is needed to totally erradicate the bad cancer cells that would probably be left out from surgery. With that so I am helpless as a daughter how to help my mother.
