I am a girl from 21, that is born and lives in Belgium. Yeah, that small country between Holland, France and Germany that didn't had a government for 541 days.. (I still do not get it..)

Because my parents are really poor, I am a student, I can't get enough money from work, and have to pay back €5000 I can not manage to make my dream come true without someones help. Normally I'll never do this but i am desperate. :)
My dream is to make a work and travel(volunteering) traveltrip at the end of this year to Asia (Thailand, India, Indonesia, cambodja,..) and help chilldren with mental problems because they are victums of child abuse.(I know we have our priest here that made a lot of young victums but in Asia they don't get the same/enough help and compassion.) Also i want to go to Australia and help on organic farms, in National parks and on animal farms. (kangoroo, pinguins, ..) I want to get a lot of experience and finally think clear. I want to see how everything goes on the other side of the world and help out where i can.. Do something really good in my life, something that feels right, helping other people and giving animals hope. :)

I am a single 50 year old woman. I have raised two natural born boys and three adopted boys. I have raised these children as a single woman and at times worked two jobs. I have received a scholarship for school but due to illness, I currently need seven classes to complete my education. I am currently on disability but would like to earn my own way of income. I intend to obtain a salary earning job in order to support myself during this time. As you can see, we are a family that is willing to work hard to succeed and give back once again. I am not asking you for a hand out but a hand up. I am a woman who has had to sacrifice in my past in order to give my children the best I could. I am a diabetic with Fibromyalgia. I have gastro paresis and have been in and out of the hospital at least every three weeks. I have nerve damage to the nerve in my stomach. I have had to leave school for the last year and a half. I started the year of 2011 taking twenty different medications and ended 2011 only taking seven medications now. I have worked hard this last year and intend to be more aggressive in 2012. I believe that each day gives a person a chance to take one step forward and one step is still a forward motion. I realize there are days that one step seems impossible, but I think it is up to me to take that step. I appreciate the advice along the way, but it is my path to walk. I have come to the conclusion that sometimes we need to reach out to others. I am a giver and I feel uncomfortable about asking for help then it occurred to me that maybe some of those people I gave to have been waiting for an opportunity to give back. As hard as it was to just pick up and leave an abusive (both physical and mental) of 12 years, it was even harder to have my youngest daughter who is 3 walk up to me and say "mommy why are you crying, is it because daddy is mean too you?" That absolutely melted my heart and gave me the "final straw" scenario to leave my husband, and take my children so that they can be raised in a non-hostile environment.This decision has definitely come with a number of hoops and hurdles to get over. It doesn't scare me that I am now going to me a single mother, but its all the responsibilities that come with that title.

First hurdle, I had to overcome is finding a place for myself, 3 year old daughter and 1 year old son to live. There is a very limited amount of shelters for women with children, so we ended up staying with my bff in her 1 bed/ 1 bath 695 sqft apartment. While this is only temporary I am glad we at least have somewhere to lay our heads at night. Not to mention I work, 67 miles from my BFF's residence, and my kids school is another 80 miles away. This commute has almost been impossible to make, but my choices are limited at this point.

The things I so desperately need help with now is ANYTHING in your heart or power to do. Donations thru paypal are great and would help tremendously. I have to find a place closer to work and my children's school, I have my daughters school tuition of $385 due every month.I am lucky that her school is working with me considering the circumstances. I also still have to buy diapers and wipes, and organic food because my son has asthma and allergies. I never wanted to be rich, I just don't want to have to worry every week. I hope to be in a better position one day where my fiances not only allow me to live but also to help out anyone else in need.

Domestic Violence is such a mind game, it took me 12 years to see beyond the tricks and realize the damage it has done to not only myself but my two small children who are like sponges. Their behavior lately has me thinking that they will definitely have to go to family counseling in the near future.

Anything that is in your power to do will be so greatly appreciated. .50, $1, $5....whatever will help me rebuild our family unit. My husband mot helping me or focusing on the kids is his way of getting to me, but I cannot and will not ever go back. If anything please keep my children in your prayers, I hurt for them because I could not provide them with a traditional two -parent home. Hello out there! I am 28, hoping to start a small, organic farm/homestead with my boyfriend, and I am looking for financial assistance in buying land and start-up costs. I have worked on a number of organic vegetable farms, selling both for market and CSA (community supported agriculture, where individuals or families buy a seasonal share and receive weekly boxes of produce). I have some experience with Biodynamic Farming (and intend to study it more), Permacultural design & philosophy, and natural building. I have the knowledge and will, and now I need the start up money!

Ideally I would like to grow medicinal plants (native & non-native) for seed and to sell as starts. I have some experience with this sort of business as well, and would probably start with some basics: lemon balm, peppermint, lavender, milk thistle, Echinacea, etc. We will also begin with a large vegetable garden to supply our own sustenance and to sell produce at a roadside farm-stand or local farmer's market (depending on our location). We will have chickens for eggs and meat, and, after a couple years, I hope to add goats and/or sheep, for milk, meat, and wool. I have learned to spin, and weave (on a four-harness floor loom), and felt, and I hope that we could add to our income with fiber and fiber arts created from our animals. Also interested in soap-making, but don't know much about that yet. Flowers are another potential crop.

We are looking to buy 10-20 acres, probably in the Pacific Northwest. We do have some money for a down payment, and this is a great time to buy property (low mortgage rates and low prices). Other start-up costs will be: building materials for a home, chicken coop, small barn, and fencing; seeds and potting soil; animal feed; fruit tree & perennial herb starts. I live in Miami, but I dont fit here. My dream is to own a farm up north, raise organic foods and to eventually help to promote conservation and sustainability by creating a program for students and concerned people.
While I have not made concrete plans, I know the first part of the plan is to raise the money to buy the farm.
It is a big request, I know. It isnt rent money or a car payment. However as I think about how we are destroying our planet, I know that I need to work to find better ways to do thing, better ways to teach, better ways to live.

I'm 20 years old and a junior in college currently. I'm getting a biology major, botany certificate, and chemistry minor and also hope to go on to graduate school. I really want to finish and get an undergraduate degree but I have a hard time paying rent and groceries. I do childcare a couple evenings here and there, but I find I don't have time to work outside of school this year (taking upper division courses like organic chemistry take up ALL my time). I'm very hard-working and get good grades (mostly As and some Bs). Any assistance, advice, etc would be greatly appreciated. Any monetary assistance would be spent on either tuition, textbooks, rent, or groceries; it would also be rewarded with some thank you gift, dependent on your taste.

I have a dream of starting a small organic -green- farm. My original plans were just to live self-sufficiently and produce all of the food needs for my wife and 3 small children. Through research I believe I can do that and still produce some product for local farmers markets and such.

I just dont have the money to get started.
