I'm a 45 year old male with 5 children. In 2005 I got retrenched from the platinum mine were I worked and with the state that sa's economy is in I've struggled to get a job ever since and my savings are running out. My twins is 18 and in matric this year and both need new glasses and for that they also need new eye test done at specsavers the qoatation was R2000 ($250) for both. My youngest daughter's primary school is R1500 in arears ($200) and my 5year old needs to start play school and the baby needs formula and daipers,then there is food,rent and water and electricity bills and winters coming! I try do odd jobs to make ends meet but now my bakkie (pick up truck) broke down and I do steel works and used it to move my equipment. Any donations or amount money will do and wil be appriciated very much. There is a thousand illegal ways in SA to make money but Im not a theive. I was a policeman in my 20's and know how crime affect the lives of others.I'm alone with only my oldest daugter trying to help in between her job and 2 baby boys. Please I really dont know what to do anymore and what to pay and what not to pay this month.

I recently got out of a Long term relationship with a girl who was unwilling to look for a job. She left me ib this relationship with $19,000 in credit card debt, wrn i already have almost $60,000 in student loans that i can barely pay back. I was laid off in 2008 and had to take a series of odd jobs over the past few years before finally settling in with my current position at $3 an hour less than I was making. I am currently living I. My friends basement because adter taxes my take home is only 1200 a month. My bare minimum payments combined with the 500 a month I give them for rent and food I am left with just enough to stay alive.

As a practitioner of Buddhist meditation, I have a strong belief in the power of karma and losing kindness. I am not asking for a complete bail out but I have faith that there is someone out there that has te means and desire to help out. A large portion of my credit card debt was built up after offering up my car to help those in need, including my ex. If these bills were at the very least lessened, I would have the financials and to continue to help those in needs which is something hat I draw much happiness from.

My son is a very smart and vivacious 9yr old. A few yrs ago he was diagnosed with ADHD/ODD and its been a whirlwind and stressful few yrs adapting to everything. After several yrs of counseling and after attending several school he FINALLY has found comfort in a local catholic school. He has made it known how much he loves his school and how much ambitions he has to graduate from that specific school and go on to be a scientist. My intention were to pay his school off with tax returns of course life happen and between my medicals bills and my car dying out on me. I now owe his school the full amount of almost $2,000 that needs to be paid before he starts school again. Hello, and thank you for taking time to read my post. I am a 21 year old single mother to a little girl. I am struggling to make ends meet, and I'm having a hard time staying strong for my little girl. My ex husband has been unemployed. Therefore, I do not recieve any financial help from him. If you're a parent, you know that daycare is very expensive. I simply cannot do it all on my own. I need your help. I am a very prideful person, and do not like asking for help, but I do not know what else to do. I owe $400, and have sold things, thought of odd jobs, but have still come up shorthanded. So, please help us. I want to be able to provide for my daughter and keep a roof over her head. She will be 2 in a few months, and I want her to have a "home."

I`ve never asked for anything before, I`m usually very good about taking care of my family and keeping things in private no matter how bad they are but I`m hoping my good karma will come back to me now.
I am a stay at home mother who doesn`t just sit around eating bon-bons all day with my kid. My son is 15 months old, with Achondroplasia, which is a type of dwarfism. He got it from his father. I lost my job of 5 years December 26th 2011, because I was sick. Lost the unemployment hearing too. Since then I`ve helped out by doing survey sites and other odd jobs online, as well as housekeeping and babysitting and whatever I could in the real world.
Our son needs alot of one-on-one time. He just had head surgery April 10th and is still recovering, though he has improved drastically from it. The day we came home from the hospital, April 13th, my husband was fired for taking the 3 days off to be in the hospital with us 2 hrs upstate. He lost the unemployment hearing as well. Same boss, we both lost to him. Sucks but we have to move on.
Well then to add to the pile our landlord bailed on us. We`ve been sitting around with the rent wondering why no one has come to get it. Turns out he ran off with some woman somewhere, left half the houses to his wife to rent out, and the other half to his brother...who doesn`t want to rent. He already has a buyer too, who doesn`t want us in here.
We`re sitting on a ticking time bomb, basically hiding because we can`t afford to pay rent here and pay to get out. Our lease has been up for 3 months anyway.
Now as luck would have it we found a place, and we have half the money to get in, but the lady can`t help us out with the deposit. She`s been nice enough to hold it for us for now, but we need the money to get in.

My husband just landed a job, but he doesn`t start for another 2-3 weeks and then its mostly training. Tonight both us and the dogs had ramen noodles for dinner, and we are running out of formula for the baby..Wic isn`t available for another 3 days. We need something, anything. I`m not asking for alot, just a dollar or anything you can find in yourself to help us out. Anything would be appreciated.

Hi I am a mother and a wife going through an extreme financial crisis with my family. I know this is odd to put on here, and I can't even believe I'm doing this. I am begging and pleading to please deposit a dollar in my paypal account. My husband was working, and he quit to go to another job that seemed great. It was 4 more dollars an hour, the hours were great ect. When he was supposed to start, the "new" job told him, there was no work lined up. Needless to say he was very angry. But he just put on his happy face and kept moving forward. He can't go back to his other job, as they already filled the position. What baffles me, is that this "new" job is the one who called him and said when are you ready to start, we have work lined up. We were so excited, because he waited for like a month and a half to see if he was going to be hired or not. What happened was this new place didn't get the contract they thought they were going to get. They should of never called him unless they were positive they had this contract. If they would of waited, my husband would still have a job.I would hope this wouldn't happen to any of you. This all happened two weeks ago, today... actually. Ever since he was told there was "no work" lined up, he has been up and out everyday looking for a job. Putting applications in online, and setting up interviews. If you have a job, consider yourself very lucky. No matter what, your job is not that bad. At least if you have one, if you do. We have 3 children, and I am scared to death. We have passed due bills, the mortgage, etc. I can get more detailed if you request. He was supposed to start last Monday, the 19th. We live pay check to pay check, not by choice. Unforeseen circumstances put us in the situation that we are in. My husband had, and still has medical problems, and neither of us have health insurance, as many of us Americans don't. He was on disability for a few years, and he requested to be taken off of it, so he could work. He also is not any better, but he took that time to get all his surgeries, that did nothing, except make it worse. Prescriptions are expensive, we have to pick and choose what prescription medications we are going to be able to get. I'm not going to elaborate any further, but if would like to know the whole story, you can email me. I will also provide what evidence I can, so you know that this is not a made up story. I want to thank each and every person, that just took the time to read this, even if you can't help. Im a recently Divorced mother of three small boys. In DESPERATE need of help paying my rent. Im three months behind and now about to be evicted. My landlord has been patient but at this point he has grown tired. I fell victim to a lay off 6 months ago. I have cleaned toliets,mowed grass,shoveled snow all types of odd jobs just trying to keep food on the table. I currently owe $3,900. Hello all,I am 51 years old I have been unemployed ,on and off, now for the past 2 years, I was laid off because business was slow, then I returned to
work--while still employed I committed to a trip in April, well, then I got laid off again and everything is already reserved.I've been doing odd jobs here and there towards this but April is coming up fast. I just need 537.00 Also these past couple of years have been pretty rough--went through a break-up, several friends passing,including my mentor, plus the layoffs. Hi my name is Logan, I am currently a junior in college and I had to drop out recently because I couldn't get any financial assistance. Most recenctly this last Fall (2011) I have found out a friend of mine had stolen a few hundred dollars from me too and they also stole from a friend of mine and deep in my heart I told him was would pay him the money that which was stolen from him from a former friend. I'm currently unemployed since July of 2011 but I am doing many odd jobs to make ends meet but what I am making isn't helping that well. I have many bills piling up plus some medical bills too from a seizure condition that I have. My family is hurting financially too, my mom is unemployed and my father has a full time job but its not enough to pay for the numerous bills that my parents have to pay. I am a volunteer EMT and I also am in our local Lions Club and a few other organizations also. I will also donate a portion of donations to those organizations to help with various community projects. Please help my family and I out.
