Post a Beg Now!

I've been living in my car for a few weeks now.. I was laid off awhile back and now I don't have a single cent to my name. I am out of gas money, I don't know where to go.. I've had to pass up interviews because I had nothing suitable to wear. I use a cell phone that was paid 3 months in advance by a friend. Her mom won't let me stay with them, any family I do have is so far away, and they can't afford to bring me to them either. I am 18 years old, a girl. I graduated highschool, I can't go to college yet obviously. I get so terrified at night in my car. I am asking for money to buy gas, and go to a thrift shop to buy some clothes. I live of food bank food.. only some of it though, most perishes. Please help!

I want to use the money either for gas and clothes, or to go back home to live and find a job there..

I need a miracle

Hello...I desperately need your help. My fiance and I have been together for the last five years. Three years ago he was working as a volunteer coach for a soccer team and the school he used to teach at. One day in soccer practice he jumped for a ball, lost his footing, and fell on his neck. He fractured a vertebrae which left him in excruciating pain. To make matters worse, as the bone healed it left a bone spur at the base of his head that pushes on the nerve bundle next to his brain stem. Gradually, as the spur grew bigger it made him paralyzed from the neck down. We have obviously put our wedding on hold to deal with this unfortunate fate. I work three jobs just to make the minimum payments on his medical bills and I take care of him whenever I am not working.
Because of the proximity of the bone spur to his brain stem, no doctor in the U.S. will touch it to operate on it. However, we have consulted with a doctor in Germany that practices surgery like this every day. He says with the surgery my fiance would be able to regain the use of most of his body with a lot of intensive physical therapy. But...the surgery costs right around $25,000 which might as well be 25 million. I spend every penny I make just barely scraping by. I know this surgery would give him back his freedom and his ability to live the way he always dreamed. Please help us...every little bit counts. I appreciate anything you can do.

TWO sets of TWINS = a MUCH needed tummy tuck!

Posted by FoxxxyIndia on 2012-05-08 01:58:59

Hi...
I'm India... I'm now a student & stay-at-home mom of 6 month old twins. I previously worked as a make-up artist, but due to overwhelmingly high daycare costs i've decided to stay home their first year. I also have a set of six year old twins. Before my 1st set was born I weighed 118 pounds, after weight after they were born stayed a steady 125. So, when I found out I was having a SECOND set I immediately wasn't worried one bit about it because I'd dropped all of the weight before. Well, unfortunately this time it wasn't so easy. The second set left my body a mess. Due to a c-section my doctor told me to not exercise for six weeks. As soon as I got home from the hospital I began dieting. Running twice a day & sit-ups EVERY morning & night. Well, it's been six MONTHS & my stomach is STILL flabby due to loose DEAD skin that will NEVER re-gain it's elasticity. So unless I get the surgery, i'll FOREVER have this pooch. My insurance doesn't cover, obviously because it's cosmetic & I just don't see plastic surgery being in my immediate future. I just want to feel good about myself & look great in my clothes again. For someone who's had a nice body ALL of her life, THIS is NOT ideal. I know this might be a LONG shot, but if you can... PLEASE help! I'll gladly send you pics, if needed.
THANKS

Extended Family In Need

Posted by Gladys on 2012-05-02 02:58:37

What do you say when you are entreating an entire world of strangers to come to your aid? How do you sound deserving of their help? How do you express, without writing a novel, why you are in need, how you came to be there, how you came to choose this way of seeking help, and how very afraid you feel.
First, the reason I chose this method. I was feeling frustrated one night after being asked to work another fund raiser. While there is no doubt that the family is very much in need their financial security was markedly better than my own. I was wondering why it seemed that it was always people who already had some means at their disposal who got that kind of sympathy and help. Obviously I was feeling self centered but still the thought remained, what kind of resources were there out there for people like me, people barely above poverty level and struggling to keep from going under. So...I started searching the internet and came across references to "begging" online. I was shocked, I was appalled...I was hopeful. The anonymity of it was a big plus.
Feeling so hopeless, and out of control is very frightening for me. I work with the public. The street people call me Smiley because I try to always stay upbeat while at work and they know that if I can I will always help them with a dollar or two when they need it. There are many people ( even those who are only a few years younger than my 55) who call me Mom and have come to me for assistance both emotionally and financially. I have two adult children of my own and many more that have come through my household and are a part of my family even though they are not related biologically. I send my own Mother money a couple times a month. She lives on a fixed income that doesn't even cover here cost of living. I can no longer afford these things but I don't know how to cut off the aid to others even though I, myself, am in need of aid.
My husband and I come from poor families and were determined to make a better life for our own children. Since we both only had high school educations neither one of us are in well paying jobs but we have always managed to survive and our children never had to worry about whether Mom and Dad were going to be able to feed and clothe them. But things have gotten progressively worse this year.
I tried to start a small business in order to provide my oldest grandchildren and one of my children with a secure job and something meaningful to do. Trying to keep them out of the "system" and teach them to have self respect, and trying to provide a means for them to have financial security. But the business never picked up and we were funneling money into it...my daughter lost her husband and we were also supporting her household. The financial strain has put us in debt that we cannot pay. Our cars have broken down, there are three running vehicles for six drivers to use getting to work and looking for work but no money to repair or replace them. My daughter and her children are living in my home, having lost theirs, and my husband and I are staying with my youngest and her family. Her husband was recently laid off and she is expecting her second child. My husband had to have surgery and that put him off work for six weeks, and now in order to keep his job we have to somehow pay for hearing aids ($3000 for the least expensive ones). Although it is hard we have stuck together and are helping each other as best we can.
The problem is that I see no end in sight. Just the electric bill is $6oo a month thru the winter months. Fuel is outrageous. Food for this many people (5 adults, 3 late teens, and 3 small children) is very expensive in this state. Mortgage payments, gas for cars, and phones...these are things everyone has to pay. I know there are many who are far worse off than I, at least we still have roofs over our heads. But the output is so much higher than the income and each month, each WEEK, sees me feeling a little more desperate. How will I, will we, end up? Will we all be living on the street next year? The interior of Alaska is no climate for the homeless. I don't know what it will take to make this better, to make my family secure but I hope there is help out there for us.

Need Money For College

Posted by justpaige1993 on 2012-04-24 15:58:29

I am a very hard worker. I have two jobs and completly support myself. As a 19 year old, I obviously want to go to college. I am enrolled to start in June, but I have no extra money saved up. I did have a college fund, but over the years I have used it to help pay for things like a year abroad in another country to help with my langauge. I was under the impression that this would help me gain scholarships, but in fact, it did not.
Any little donation will help. And I appreciate it greatly.

Loving married couple need help to pay for IVF

Posted by sarahwease on 2012-04-21 16:58:55

My husband and i have been married 7 years, both work full time but bought a house (when i say bought, i mean got an interest only mortgage on a rubbish deal tied in for 5 year)that was 3 years ago and we pay our way but thats all we can afford to do, we try to save but what pity little we manage to put back is always needed for something, most recently the dentist, needed antibiotics 3 times, £7.50 each time because we work,£17.50 just for the dentist to see me and thats the NHS dentist. Sorry for going on, our problem is that we desperatly want a baby together, we have been through every test the docs wanted and the end result was unexplained infertility and as weve been trying for 7 years he gave us a 1% chance of conceiving naturally , usually the NHS would offer 3 attempts at IVF but because my husband has a son (hes 16 now) who i love and have been lucky enough to have in my life, we are not eligible and will have to pay approx £5000 for 1 attempt at IVF.Obviously if anyone by some mirracle was able to help i would get and provide with receipts or a statement of how much it costs. i havent got a bit of paper with the price on but ill sharp get one and show you. I hate doing this, begging, it's against everything i stand for bar one thing and i would give my life just for the oppportunity. My husband is 43 which to the docs is no issue but im 28, 29 this year so the clock is ticking. ivf is only offered under 36 years for woman.Any help even just advice, we'd be most grateful, please and thank you. First Pregnancy and Struggling

Posted by lizzybee0923 on 2012-04-16 21:58:30

I have to move 7 mos pregnant from a furnished place to an unfurnished place. I have almost no money to even move, but worse, I have no furniture, not even a bed, and no baby stuff. My unemployment ran out, and its awfully hard to find a job when you're obviously expecting. I don't know how to find grants or any other help for this, and everyone turns me away for loans because I have no credit. Please, any suggestions, furniture donations, baby stuff, or cash will help! Thanks so much

Help an Infant with food

Posted by LordX on 2012-04-06 17:58:38

This is a Donation listing to help my family - specifically my infant son - be able to save for college and get the healthy food he needs.

This is one donation you will give that you will know goes to the right place!

My husband and I are a 30 year old couple. We moved to NY State to start a life together - and did not plan to have children right away until we were financially secure.

My husband is a computer technician and he tries his best to support myself and our new addition.

Obviously our priorities have changed - and while it was easy to skimp during hard months when it was just the two of us, skimping on our babies health and education is simply something we can not live with.

Saving for college is something that we have tried to start doing immediately - since there is no way we would be able to afford it otherwise.

Having to choose between putting money into his NY 529 or buying healthier food is tearing us up.

Any donations to this listing will go directly into his 529 account. This will help ease our debt and allow us to get the proper food and clothing he needs.

In this hard economy, any donation is extremely appreciated - even 99 cents!

God Bless.

PS - as an after thought - any donations are tax write-offs.

Don't even need money, just a cosigner for med school

Posted by Britta715 on 2012-04-02 11:58:23

I am not even asking for money. I just need a cosigner for my GraduatePLUS loan for med school and don't have anyone. I have been accepted to Ross University for September, 2012. I am getting the standard Direct loan from the government but that does not even come close to covering the cost of med school so I also need the government PLUS loan, which requires a credit check. I have OK credit, but it's not great and I know I won't qualify.

I know that this is a huge undertaking, especially for a stranger. I also realize the added risk to you, given the fact that I will be attending a foreign medical school. However, I am an incredibly driven and responsible person who will (obviously) stop at nothing to realize my dream of becoming a doctor. If you are considering helping me, please make yourself aware of how this might affect your credit until I can release you from the loan (because I am not even 100% aware of what all of the implications might be. I was a biology major, not a finance major). Best case scenario: you have enough money and good enough credit that this will never affect you; you can sign it and forget about me as I promise I will never cause you any trouble. One thing is for sure: if you do this for me, I will certainly never forget you. Please have some faith in the human race and help me help others. Thank you.

First Time Out

Hi - I know this is probably going to sound ridiculous, but I really have nowhere else to go at this point. I am 22 years old, and I just moved out of my mom's house. Well, "escaped" would probably be a better term for it - my mom is very emotionally, psychologically, and verbally abusive, and she used a lot of things of that nature against me to keep me from leaving her. For the longest time, I thought my life was normal, but when I became 20, I realized that things in my life were far from that. I have been planning this jump for years, and I finally managed to do it. I literally had to wait until she was at work before I could get my things and move in with my friend. As of now, I am seeking employment of my own (I worked with my mother before, which is obviously out of the question now), and I am struggling with a lot of different financial situations. My vehicle is very old and the license plates are expired, and I have no money to update or repair them. I have two traffic tickets due for them by the end of April, and I am very worried about it. I am also wishing to go to school, but I seriously doubt that is going to happen at any point soon because of my situation. Things just seem to be getting worse and worse the more that I think about them, but anything is better than being under my mom. So please, if you have a heart and can understand my situation, I would ask that you donate whatever you wish to help a young woman out on her own. Thank you very much for your consideration, and may you be blessed.

Its Just a Dollar.

Posted by Dollar on 2012-03-18 20:58:30

Hi. I am 38 years old and live in Canada. One day I watched as numerous people visited my local coffee shop. The thought occurred to me that each individual visiting this store was spending at least $1.50. The price of a medium coffee. Then I thought at least one million people across Canada are going to visit this Nationwide coffee chain. One million people times $1.50. Well that's just basic math that comes to the tune of $1.5 MILLION! This is a low ball number as this chain obviously earns more than that. If One million people put Just A Dollar each in my account, each and every one of them would get to know that they changed One person's life for the better! Its Just A Dollar. Quite possibly there is a dollar in the cushions of your couch, Under the seat of your car? Its Just A Dollar. In your pocket right now. Laying around. Its Just A Dollar. Instead of giving a coffee chain a $1.50, you can give me a buck. Heck you can give me a $1.50 if you want. You can give more than that. As much as you like. I will accept all donations. Of course the money is a driving factor in me trying this. It is also somewhat of a social experiment to see if we as Human Beings have it in us to give and know that in return they will receive a feeling of good knowing they changed someones life for the better by coming together collectively. Its Just A Dollar. Thank you so much for Being Human.
