Im a single mom of two wonderful children. A six year old son and a three year old daughter. I recently left their father last summer of 2011. I married him out of high school and eventually he became abusive physically and mentally. I left him with my kids and moved out of state.
Which brings me to my current financial crisis. I need money to keep a roof over our heads. I'm trying my hardest to keep us afloat, between the rent, utilities and paying lawyer fees and each payment is important.
If their are any kind hearted individuals that would help a newly single mom keep afloat it would forever be appreciated.

My fiance (Jacob) and I are in need of some help finding a home for our newly forming family of 7 wonderful angels. I am on disability and Jacob is working long hard hours at work as a painter and in school to earn a degree so that he can try and provide better for us and we both are working small side jobs when we can locate them just to put food on the table and do laundry. We fight every month between the two of us to make sure the lights stay on and the water stays running. We over and over find ourselves robbing Peter to save Paul, and always coming up short. Hello. I am newly (8 weeks ago) single mother of 2 boys (ages 3, 6) and I have recently left my abusive husband. I remained in the relationship for 7 years and am have just now gotten the courage and willpower to leave. The relationship and the last beating before I left (by far the worst) left me 75 percent unable to see in my right eye.This has resulted in us being homeless with no financial help or backing.
I no longer qualify for TANF (WELFARE) and all I get is food stamps once a month. We are currently residing in a homeless shelter in downtown St. Louis where we have to leave every morning at 6 am (rain, snow, or shine). I go to the library with my children daily and we read together just to get out of the cold. I am happy to be free from years of abuse, but at the same time I am severely depressed because of my living and financial situation.
My wish is to get funds for one month at a studio extended stay hotel, funds for interview clothes (I have gotten several interviews and then when I go, they HR reps are immediately turned off by my unkempt, worn and inappropriate so called interview attire), funds for a bus pass to get to more interviews (I walk for now), and funds for minor toiletries. I know that with my resume and decent interview attire that I can get a decent full time job within one month's time.
It would help so much toward my short term goal, which is to attain full time stable employment and provide a stable and healthy living situation for my two boys. I don't like asking for help and feel really dumb for doing this but I have 3 kids and me and my newly married wife are falling behind on bills so we can't get gifts or barely any food for my kids we need help we both work but struggling so if any one can help my whole family would be very grateful. Hello... I am hesitant to post this as it feels a bit shameful and embarrassing. But times are extremely desperate and as the clock ticks, time is running out. I am a newly diagnosed HIV positive woman who is also pregnant with some other health issues as well. I've been unemployed for some time, and regardless of sending out my resume and filling out countless applications daily, I have been unable to obtain a job. I recently received a notice that if I don't come up with $3000 by January, my home will be put in foreclosure. I have hardly enough in my bank account for groceries, let alone any other bills and had the gas/hot water shut off just a few days ago. Things just keep getting worse! I'm willing to do anything I can for work, but so far no legit offers have come through. At this point, I am completely desperate. I don't want to be out on the street sick and pregnant. I have no family to back me up and am pretty much alone. So now I've reduced myself to begging. Begging for employment or any help anyone can give period. Nothing is too small. If anyone can find it in their heart to help at all, I've included a paypal link. Please don't judge me. I need some financial assistance. My story is one of hope for the future. My wife is pregnant with our first child.

We are struggling to keep up with the bills and find ourselves in a situation financially. I recently owe a significant amount for school that is due. We are currently trying to find a place to live that will accommodate an extra person, our baby.

My bills for insurance and doctors, wife is a high risk pregnancy is a lot. I’m going to work 2 jobs to support my wife and baby but it is not enough right now with expenses. I want to be able to spend time with our first child and not be an absent Dad always working. I would like some financial freedom. It saddens me that I can’t provide everything for my wife.

I want to purchase a keepsake gift for her baby being born but have no funds. I just want a better life for a newly married couple starting their life together. We have been married just 2 years. I have exhausted many options of financing for our family. My wife currently is unable to work because of doctors orders.

Any contribution would help our newly formed family a better start. I want only the best for my child and need a helping hand at starting off his life in the right direction. I vow when I’m out of school to save our money and match the donations received now and donate to a charity or help people here. We are in financial difficult time but any contribution would really ease my mind and help our family.

I hope you can find it in your heart to help a new family make it in this world. My mother has assisted us the best way she can but with my father passing away, her funds are short.

I am so embarassed to even ask for help. I'm a single parent with 3 kids and had to go to the state for food support. I recently lost my PCA job due to cutbacks that started with the newly hired on up. The food support program, here in Minnesota, can take up to 30 days to be approved and in some cases, up to 90 days. I have 1 final paycheck coming thru on the 13th of Oct and because of that, I won't get the food support until the 12th of Oct. With no more income, gas to find a job, and as of next week-no lights or phone, I'm just hurt every time I look at my kids and know I can't provide for them. This really sucks right now. I can't stay afloat if my life depended on it right now. Thankfully I have writing skills and plan to enter free screenplay contests on the hope that I will win. I don't ask for money or charity very often. As a matter of fact, I'm the one who usually donates money to the less fortunate. Now, I have become one. Anything will help, even a nickel. I'm writing on behalf of my niece and her 3 small children. She needs $200.00 for her August rent. She is in need because she is newly separated from her husband. He agreed to give her a specific amount of money for bills but, he moved in with his new girlfriend and her kids this week and just let her know he wouldn't be giving her the money. My niece has a job but it's a low paying job and not full time. She is going to school to become a nurse, so she is trying. I've scraped together all I can. Her mother, my sister passed away when my niece was a child so she can't help. So please could some one help her out with $200.00? We can re-pay it over a couple of months. She is so afraid of getting evicted with the kids and also afraid if she was served her husband would use that against her in court. Please, please, please, she is trying so hard to do this and if there was more time she could do it but he waited until rent was due in a few days to spring this on her. My friend and I are both newly separated from our husbands. We had to leave everything we had behind, take our children and start over. We are both well-educated, motivated, self-starters... but are finding out how incredibly difficult it is to leave a marriage. We have come up with a business plan to help ourselves and our children. We will be opening a registered home daycare/preschool. (We are both former school teachers) The problem is that as of now we are sleeping on couches just trying to get our resources together to get back on our feet. We are hoping for either donations toward our cause... any leads on landlords who might offer us a lease in good faith... or programs to help single mothers with housing.
