Skin Cancer - Need Treatments

Posted by wdoldfield on 2012-05-21 18:58:28

Due to sun exposure prior to being 18 years old (so my doctors says) has caused me to have some skin cancer spots on my face and arms. I would like to have them treated, but do not have any additional monies at the end of the month to put toward medical expenses. I am hoping to have these treatments sooner than later so I do not have any tissue loss due to cutting out the cancerous areas. My friend lost a portion of his nose and ears due to skin cancer and I am hoping to avoid the same out come.

Startup money for a Restaurant

Posted by Startup on 2012-05-01 09:58:20

Dear friends,
As most of you donors need to know, I am a seeking funds to open up a restaurant. I have fast food management experience and I desire to own my own restaurant. Currently our family donate monies to charity helping people where most needed and I would like to empower myself financially to give even more generously by owning my own business. Our donations from the funds raised by our restaurant also assist in being used to help feed, clothe, and empower those less fortunate, who simply cannot afford the basic essentials of life. It's a great cause, and I'm proud to be a part of it.
This year 2012, I am asking for monetary donations to help reach this goal. With the current state of the economy, it's become even more important to raise money to reach a financial goal to assist in opening up a business that will help others less fortunate.
My goal is to raise $4,500 to help open up my restaurant, so I can continue to help those in need and better myself as well. Will you please consider a monetary donation to this project Your donation may be used as a tax deduction.

Please Donate whatever you can to help me get this
Sincerely,

Helped My Parents, Now I Need Help Please!

Sitting here trying to think of how to start this "beg" my mind does a fast playback of the last 5 years which seems to find me sitting here trying to think of how to start this "beg".

To type it all out would be exhausting, depressing and most importantly, a total disregard of your time. I will try to keep this as short and to the point as possible.

Five years ago my stepfather and mother were forced out of the home they had rented for 15 years after the real estate market came to a halt. My stepfather had always been very successful in commercial real estate but unfortunately did not save or invest for the proverbial "Rainy Day".

Totally in the dark, my mom continued spending money on daily needs and wants unaware that the essentials such as utilities and rent were not being paid. After realizing that my stepfather had no monies coming in and facing eviction she called me asking if I could help out by loaning them enough money to pay back rent and past due utility bills. Yes, I realize what most of you are thinking and I wholeheartedly agree but I was assured that one of John's deals would be closing within the next couple of months at which time the money borrowed would be repaid.

Needless to say the deal fell through and my money has not been repaid and what started out as a $5,000 loan from credit cards has more than doubled when factoring in all of the payments I have made and continue to make plus the mounting interest charges. They are now in their seventies with health issues and living month to month on social security.

The reality is that I will never see my money and will probably be paying for a very long time. Some people I suppose would file a lawsuit which for me is simply out of the question for 2 reasons. (1.) I love my mom dearly and I try to look at it as payment for the years she spent raising, doctoring, feeding, clothing and housing me. The second reason is obvious. Blood cannot be extracted from a turnip.

I know that there are a lot of people in much worse shape than I am in right now and I am employed, however I am now 5 months behind on what is called an upside down mortgage which I am trying to hold onto at least until home values come back. I would be more than happy to sell it for what I owe but there are major repairs (the roof being top priority) which have to be made before I can even hope to sell.
My goal is to pay off the credit card debt and if Bank of America doesn't foreclose on my house I hope to make the need repairs so I can at least sell for what I owe and then rent a small affordable apartment or house. Please... Any help that you can give will be greatly appreciated. Thank You & God Bess!

Thanking You in Advance!

I was laid off 1/31/2012 and still have not received any benefits til end of march is what I was told. Any monies I have is strictly for my daughter. For food or school supplies. She is not very materialistic which makes her very special to me and knows what I am going through to keep above water. My daughter goes to a catholic school and that is what I am needing help with. I now owe $3,000 for half of last year and rest for this 2011-2012 school year. That is all I really need help with, the little we do have is sufficient. Please help with anything. That school has done so much for her and she enjoys being there. Thank you and may God Bless you all.

Money For Clothes

Posted by dudedavis on 2012-01-25 09:58:28

over the past couple of years myself and my husband have been very unlucky with employment. We have either been made redundant, or in my husbands case the building trade has gone down hill. My husband did get a permanent Job but the monies earn't has gone towards essential household bills and there isn't enough money to go around. I have now secured a permanent job but unfortunately it is in an office and I do not have the suitable attire to dress for this job and have no money to buy new clothes as we have more pressing debts such as car finance, insurances, mortgage, council tax etc. I would appreciate any donations from 30p to £1.00 to help me buy the much needed clothes I need to maintain and keep my permanent position any donations would be gratefully received.

NEED GENEROUS INDIVIDUALS IF THERE ANY ARE OUT THERE

Posted by kar6h on 2012-01-09 22:58:46

Hi

I'm Karen. I have MS like 400000 in USA do. I am not a widow of someone with millions of dollars nor do i have cancer with short time before I loose my battle to cancer. And I don't expect anyone to set up orphanage and help poor widows with monies I have and my last dying breath you will take over. PS this is not from Nigeria..

My MS has taken much from me. I can't walk--I use a wheelchair and now I use a hoyer lift to get from bed to wheelchair. I've been considered completely disabled for a decade. So I can't work and don't come up with a western union scheme. I am hoping for generosity of strangers. I don't want to talk about finances except to say this condition is devasting to my pocketbook. I will ask for gifts of $20-$25 or more. Any donations would be much appreciated

Okay what will your funds gto, catheters, underpads, disposable underpads, gloves, disposable underwear, home heath aide, medication copays- I take seven meds. So $20-$25 is just a small amount compared to expenses.

How might you donate. Go to http://www.paypal.com and click send money-send money to my email address kar6h@aol.com .I can only accept gifts

Thank You
Karen

Please help.. I'm overwhelmed..

Posted by Grocklon on 2011-12-30 07:58:44

I never thought I would ask for help, but at this point I just can't find another answer... I'm just so lost in what to do.

My family currently lives in a home that has been in the family for over 30 years now, but due to problems with money, we have missed the taxes on the house. The county has managed to sell the note to a company on the East Coast, and we're not sure what day they are going to come and throw us out of our home. We're out to the point of more then $6,000 and I can't figure out where to get the money to save this house.

I'm 42, and working full time. The house is the primary residence for my parents, which are both disabled, and living on a fixed income. And there is no savings for them at all. Anything amount can help to save the home for them. Dad is a Veteran, and Mom is suffering from Stage 1 Alzheimers. And this home is the only place they have. As for me, I'm trying to save there home, and bring my family together, my wife and I have had to separate because of this, and she is staying with her family in another country. We had a baby back in August, and since that time, I have not been able to spend a day with them. I would love to help save the house for my parents, and get my family back together, as these are my only 2 wishes, and desires in this world. I support my family with the monies that I make working 50-70 hours a week, but it's not enough to take care of anything more then supporting my wife and baby in this time.

If you read this, and can help, anything would help at this point. Any amount you can help with at all, please, I want to be a father to my daughter, with her growing up around me, and learning from me. And I want to be able to save the family home for my parents, as this is the only place they have to live in.

So please.. I ask, and I beg of you for some help. If you are kind enough to donate, and to help thank you so very much for being a generous soul. And if you can't afford to help, I do understand. But God Bless you for reading this, and at least taking that moment to think of my family.

Thank You

Children Book Publishing monies

Posted by ruthsaylor on 2011-12-28 15:58:59

I am looking for help to start publishing my children's book.
The cost is $5999.00 for 500 hardback books. Because it is a children's book and I painted colored illustrations...The cover needs to be hardback(which cost more than a paperback).
Two books to start costs $11,998.00.
I was working two jobs. I lost my job April 2011. Now, my part-time job (Kmart) may close their doors, as well.
So, I want to turn lemons into lemonade!
I want to continue to become a children's book writer.
My first book has a copyright and is in the Library of Congress waiting to be published.
There are many publishers that will sign up new authors for free. But, the consequences are that the author never sees their royalitites and the monies goes to the publisher.
This is why I want to publish my own books.
I want to reinvest the monies to buy more books for the book stores.
I want to see my dream come true!

IF EVERY VIEWER...DONATED AT LEAST ONE DOLLAR TO MY BOOK...THEN, I WOULD HAVE ENOUGH TO GET MY BOOK/BOOKS PUBLISHED.

If you do find it in your heart to donate...I want to thank-you with all my heart for you are truly appreciated!
God Bless You!

Sincerely,
Ruth S.

Used Items for Mexico & Deportees

Posted by donate2mexico on 2011-12-16 02:58:47

Used Items for Mexico & Deportees
Have you or someone that you know been effected by the US deportations to Mexico?
We are a family here in Tijuana that are here to help the deportees after they have been ejected or deported to Mexico.
We help the people to find the official documents needed to get work or to use for transportation to their homes here in Mexico.
Many come without Identification, means to claim money from family or friends or basic needs like, clothing shelter or even food.

We help them get to the right places to get each of these necessities. We help find temporary jobs to earn bus fares and transportation monies.

We do not provide legal immigration help but we can help the person(s) to find good sources.

We need the donations to help with many of these services.
We are always looking for people willing to transport the donations for free too

Food, Money, Clothing, household items, transportation and or legal help! We can use it all.

We need Blankets and Pillows. We also could use Scrap material and accessories to make our own. Any used sewing equipment is very much needed to repair used clothing and blankets.

I never thought I would be in this situation, becuase i am qualified with a Masters degre and presently in a good job. The problem is I made very risky business decisions and investments and now I have next to nothing.

Before reaching this level I signed up online with so many work from home and freelancing companies so that i can work during the night, but i cant seem to find jobs. If you can send me any of those i will be greatful. I live in the caribbean and most of the work from home sites are limited in terms of location.

I am a single mother of 13 year old twins and the father has not been involved in their lives since they were 2 years old. I have been doing well on for a while until the beginning of this year when I went into a poultry investment that turned out to be a failure. I have contacted the father to as for help but of course he siad he does not have any. I have been repaying monies and loans owed using my monthly income from my day job and it has been a struggle but with the purchase of books, shoes, uniforms and other necessities for school at the beginning of september, i find myself not abble to paymy monthly bill and very little money for food. I am at the end of the rope, hardly sleeping, a lot of headache and feel like giving up. Please help

Pregnant and need some help

Posted by pregnantgirl on 2011-08-24 10:58:27

I am a 27 year old girl and am pregnant with my second child. I gave away all my baby stuff years ago. I am down to working part time and struggling to pay my bills.
I could really use a little bit of help. My boyfriend of 9 years recently left me and the government will not help me because i can not get a hold of him to have this proven. I have an outstanding student loan that recently has been causing me problems. I am no longer receiving my income tax or other small government cheques because i can not afford to pay this loan. I owe roughly $5000.00 and if i could pay that off i would start getting my income tax and other monies throughout the year that would help my family out a lot. I also have a baby on the way and am not prepared. I need a crib, stroller, clothes. well everything. if anyone is willing to help even with $10.00-$20.00, anything you can afford, it would be incredibly helpful. I would also be happy to return the favor when i am back on my feet and able to do so.
Thank you for reading my story and thank you in advance to anyone willing to help out.

Very sick, and in need of some help!

Hello I'm a 38 year old man from Colorado. Late september of 2009 I caught the flu and, became very sick. The flu turned into double pnumonia and on October 3rd 09 I was admitted into I.C.U. and, placed on life support for two months in a coma.During that time I had died several times and, my girlfreind was faced with the decions each time wether or not to have me unplugged and, just let me pass(lucky for me even after she was told I'd possibly be brain damaged, she decided to keep me alive!).A few days after awaking I started to notice severe pain and, tingeling in my feet and, lower legs.I was told this pain would pass as I learned how to walk again, that was FAR from true.I spent months in bed unable to bare pressure on my feet. Then I progreessed a little and, somewhat got around with a walker, then with help of A.F.O. braces, then with a cane and finaly, with orthopedic shoe inserts.Never fully recovering.I've since been diagnosed with Peripherial Neuropathy.I have spent all my savings and monies on medical proceedures, specialty doctors ,medications, supplements, physical therapy, accupuncture, just to name a few.I'm still very sick and, unable to work.I receive Social Security payment but,(although I appriciate it grately and, could not get by witout it)thats not the same as working and the money barely covers my living expenses.I still need lots more medical attention but have no way to pay for it and, my other bills are falling behind as well.I would like to aquire enough funds to pay my bills and, possibly buy some exersise equipment to try and improve my health.I am not the kind of man to ask for help but, I'm desperate and, really don't know what else to do.If anyone who reads this is compelled to help I'd be so very gratefull.Weather or not you decide to help Thank You for taking the time to read my story,And may God bless you all.
