My 1997 Chevrolet has stopped running. I overpaid $2700.00 for it, and now to fix it, it will cost more than it's value. I live far away from my job where I just started working this week after looking for work for more than four months. So in a nutshell, I'm completely broke.

I decided that the safest route to go would be to buy a scooter, as they're more convenient, there's less likely for something to go wrong, and they're cheaper and better on gas. However, I have absolutely no money to buy one, and since I have no vehicle or transportation what so ever, I won't be able to make it to work, and this will only make my situation worse.

I have found some very nice used scooters for $500 on craigslist nearby. I would so incredibly grateful if you could help me with this $500 and I will have NO problem paying you back $100 or more a month via. paypal until I have paid you off. I can't take out a loan because I'm only 20 and haven't developed enough credit to do so (trust me, I've been down that route).

If you do this for me, I will be able to get to work, by groceries, and keep on going until things get better for me. Also, I was recently accepted into Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and a scooter would be perfect for getting around a place like that.

That's all I need, just $500. I'll pay you back monthly, I'll also give you any information you need in order to prove to you that I'm good for it. I like in the south east of england and i am 16 turning 17 on 31 of may :) live a fair distance from my place of education and i have no mode of transport as i have just moved away from the area, I have tried finding a job, no such luck as my area is highly built up and jobs are scarce. I am disabled, and like most folks, unable to make ends meet. But I'm hopeful I can sell my art and get past the hard times. I make beautiful paper collage art on glass and have received much positive feedback from friends and family. So, that's what I want to do, but right now I need money to cover my living expenses for the month. I was let go from my job in July 2011. My Husband has been able to keep us afloat financially until early December when the construction industry dried up for the winter. Unfortunately his last contractor has yet to pay him his last paycheck from November. It hurt us big time as we only had enough money to cover rent & bills and not very much money to spend on Christmas.
Since my Husband doesn't know when that next construction project will be starting up we have no idea when that next paycheck will be coming in. I have been looking for work for 6 months myself, but it's very slim pickings in my town. I am told that I am over- qualified for the minimum wage jobs, and under-qualified for most others...

I'm 40 yrs old and have been permanently disabled due to my suffering from chronic back pain, leg pain and migraine headaches, not to mention depression as well. My partner of 20 yrs is the only one I have to help me with my daily routine. We recently had our 14 yr old Ford Escort junked because it gave out on us for the last time and we just didn't have the funds to repair it for a second time. This was our only mode of transportation for groceries, doctor appointments, etc. We haven't even been able to visit family in many yrs because our car was in such bad condition. Since I'm disabled, we only have my disability income as our one and only source of income as many of you may know, that's only enough to pay bills, and not much more, especially since everything's getting more expensive by the minute. If anyone out there, has it in the heart, after reading our post, and can donate towards our purchase of a new car, it would be greatly appreciated. I don't need anything fancy; a simple Ford would be more than enough to get me to my many doctor appointments, which by the way, taking buses, is difficult having to wait long periods of time, in agonizing pain, for buses to get to where we need to go. Because of the economy, the funding that paid for my job is gone so now my job is gone. It was a job at school and not only did they eliminate my job they also raised my rent and tuition. I'm a single mom and college student, so money was pretty tight as is but now I'm in crisis mode. I've not been able to find another job and am trying really hard to avoid my kids and I being evicted. I'll have student loans in January but my college isn't willing to work with me until then and if they don't get the money they will evict me. I would greatly appreciate any help if you're able to. Wall Street and the big banks were bailed out of debt. What happened to us on mainstreet? I posted a plea the other day explaining my situation, but am changing it to read like this.
I owe close to $1000.00 in property and mobile home taxes. Two are considered deliquent. The other two are due the end of Novermber. The longer I can't pay, the more interest is added. My property taxes keep rising every six months. The value of my property has dropped because of the housing bust. Most non-profit charities will not help with property taxes. I work part-time cleaning private houses. It is the only job I can find in my area.It barely-I mean barely- covers my utilities, car insurance, etc. The state can legally take my home just like a mortgage lender if I cannot pay my taxes. I have an old computer with dialup so I cannot join Facebook or twitter due to outdated technology.

Therefore, I am challenging a rich Wall Street banker or other rich banker or anybody with money to burn to help bail me (Jane Q. Public) out of the tank. I cannot pay you back, but I will thank you personally if given the opportunity. I also have other outstanding bills. A doctor bill for $118.00. And I also need the basic necessities of life. Hygiene products, toilet paper, dog food. $25.00 for a flu shot. You name, I can use it. I am in survival mode and have been for the last couple of years.

About Me/My Situation:

Started a small computer service business in 2006 after being laid off from my regular job after 6 years. Managed to stay afloat until mid summer 2010 when I lost the contracts that provided 90% or more of my business and I had no money to go out on my own and obtain new contracts or more new customers. I was owed some money for work performed ( about $7,000) I will not be seeing any of that money.

After a while I started selling my possessions and items that my family had given me to sell, mostly accumulated junk like computer parts, beer steins that I had collected and other things at a weekly flea market, I cut down all my bills as much as I could. I looked for jobs for months. I borrow way too much money from my family as they could not really afford to lend it to me but they did. My parents and my brother also loaned me their cars when after i had to turn in my company owned vehicle leaving me without a mode of transportation. After a couple months of borrow cars I used whatever money I had managed to save and some money from an insurance claim to pick up a 15 year old vehicle for myself.

In November 2010 I obtained a full time tech job and a part time counter help job at the local movie theater. Even with two jobs I was still making much less that I use to and much less than I needed to pay my bills.

Finally I ended up filing for bankruptcy, "unofficially" close my business (turn in business vehicle leaving me without a vehicle) and recently just had most of my debts discharged, BUT I still need to catch up on a couple thing that the bankruptcy would not cover.

What I need:

1. Need to catch up on my condo fees --- about $1,000
2. My property taxes are about 2 years behind ---- $1,800
3. My heat, hot water and electric bills are past due --- $500
4. I need to officially close my business with the state which includes filing my annual report for the last two years ---- $1,000

Total I am need of is $4,300 I don't expect to receive all of this if any, but it did give me a chance to sort of vent while I typed this out.

Hello, I am a single mom struggling to raise a daughter and trying to put her through college. My daughter and I share a 1991 Toyota Camry that has over 350,000 miles and is truly on its last leg. I have never thought about begging before until friends told me maybe I should look into it. Last time I needed help my parents was there to help me out but they aren't around to help now. My name is Robert and I am a struggling 37 year old welder and single father that has been unemployed over 2 and a half years now.
