I am a single mother of two. I recently just moved and I am having a hard time getting adjusted. I do have a job, but I have been playing catch up on the rent. I did make that a priority so that we would at least have a roof over our heads. But that has left us almost starving. I have been to the local food banks, but they all only run only once a month. I have applied for government assistance, but because I make more than minimum wage they are unwilling to help at all! I am drowning here and I don't want my children to starve! Can some please help us out!

I recently got out of a Long term relationship with a girl who was unwilling to look for a job. She left me ib this relationship with $19,000 in credit card debt, wrn i already have almost $60,000 in student loans that i can barely pay back. I was laid off in 2008 and had to take a series of odd jobs over the past few years before finally settling in with my current position at $3 an hour less than I was making. I am currently living I. My friends basement because adter taxes my take home is only 1200 a month. My bare minimum payments combined with the 500 a month I give them for rent and food I am left with just enough to stay alive.

As a practitioner of Buddhist meditation, I have a strong belief in the power of karma and losing kindness. I am not asking for a complete bail out but I have faith that there is someone out there that has te means and desire to help out. A large portion of my credit card debt was built up after offering up my car to help those in need, including my ex. If these bills were at the very least lessened, I would have the financials and to continue to help those in needs which is something hat I draw much happiness from.

I don't know what to do! My family lost their jobs (layoffs) and I have a minimum wage paying job but because of business, it's been really slow. Hours keep getting cut. I've been looking for a second job or another job and so has my family but no one's hiring!

Because I'm the only one with a job, I've been paying the bills and now we don't have enough for our rent. Please help! We thank you so very much.

My name is Sadie, I am 25 and I am from the UK. 3 years ago my twin sister went to Australia for 2 months but never came back. She struggled to find work after graduating in England and felt prospects were much better in Australia.

I have always felt like my life is on hold until she returns - but until then I dream of going over there to see her. Maybe even suprise her! She has a new life now but I am desperate to go and see her for a holiday and meet her new friends.

Flights are really expensive - they are at a minimum about £1000. I have been trying to save and have managed to save £125 so far but I am a long way from my goal and would like to see her soon :)

I need help to keep me from going bankrupt. I am unable to acquire a job because of injuries I sustained during my deployment to Afghanistan. The army is going to pay me, but that takes a lot of time and paperwork and I am looking at six months before I begin receiving checks. I tried to do college online but had to quit because I can no longer retain new information as a result of my brain injury. I'm married with three children and often find myself running short on groceries at the end of the month. I have let go of all bills that I could (cable, internet, cell phone, etc) but I am still falling short. Any help would be greatly appreciated by myself and my family. I would use contributions to purchase clothing and food, as well as make minimum payments on monthly bills. Once I begin receiving disability I will immediately stop accepting donations, and as soon as I can afford to, I promise to donate at least what I have received in donations back to this website. Again I thank you for taking the time to read this and for having the heart to consider helping a complete stranger.

I sadly became sick in 2008 and had no insurance at work I manged to rack up over $5000 in bills and have not be able to make the minimum payments the collection call are now getting to the point that I am in danger of losing my job if I can't get them to stop

Hello...I desperately need your help. My fiance and I have been together for the last five years. Three years ago he was working as a volunteer coach for a soccer team and the school he used to teach at. One day in soccer practice he jumped for a ball, lost his footing, and fell on his neck. He fractured a vertebrae which left him in excruciating pain. To make matters worse, as the bone healed it left a bone spur at the base of his head that pushes on the nerve bundle next to his brain stem. Gradually, as the spur grew bigger it made him paralyzed from the neck down. We have obviously put our wedding on hold to deal with this unfortunate fate. I work three jobs just to make the minimum payments on his medical bills and I take care of him whenever I am not working.
Because of the proximity of the bone spur to his brain stem, no doctor in the U.S. will touch it to operate on it. However, we have consulted with a doctor in Germany that practices surgery like this every day. He says with the surgery my fiance would be able to regain the use of most of his body with a lot of intensive physical therapy. But...the surgery costs right around $25,000 which might as well be 25 million. I spend every penny I make just barely scraping by. I know this surgery would give him back his freedom and his ability to live the way he always dreamed. Please help us...every little bit counts. I appreciate anything you can do.

I recently got my Bachelor's Degree in Writing and English in Grand Rapids, MI. The economy out there is terrible, so I took a train to Seattle, WA. I'm currently staying with a friend in Bellevue.

Pretty soon here, I'm going to have no money. My friend wants rent money by June 1st - $400. I can't afford to eat and pay him rent at the same time.

My beg is for any money you can possibly spare - just enough to get a meal or two would be nice enough. I've applied for over 35 corporate positions in the last two days, and countless minimum wage positions.

I have had a very bad time this year. In January I slipped on the ice and broke my shoulder, resulting in about $17,000 in medical bills. On St. Valentines day my apartment caught fire and I lost almost all my personal possessions. I was lucky that a few items were in my truck. Today I am working for Waste Management Inc. at just over minimum wage and trying to pay off my medical and other debts. I sleep on an air mattress and get much of my food and clothing from charitable organizations. My weekly paycheck will only cover rent and electricity after the the other bills. I know I will live through this but,at 57 years old I probably will never pay off all I owe, or even make it to retirement age.

My name is Donna and my husband,Tom,is a disabled diabetic. He has been diabetic for 20 years and for the past 7 years, he has been totally unable to walk. He gets SSI but it is not much. I ork but only for minimum wage. Our car stopped running on Feb. 14 and we do not have the extra finances or credit to be able to buy another one. As a result, he has not been to a doctor since to get refills on his medicines or insulin needles. He is getting sicker every day. I would like to get out and look for a better job but can't do that either. I have to push him in the road if he wants to go anywhere otherwise, I walk to the grocery store to buy food. We are behind in all of our bills but only a little bit. We just need someone would could help us with a car and a little to pay up our bills. This has been really hard on my husband. He feels depressed and useless because there is nothing he can do to help and is basically stuck in the apartment. Without his medicine, it gets worse every day. His blood sugar has been staying over 600 and I have no way to get it back down to an acceptable level. It is causing havoc with the rest of his body also. We desperately need a car to get him help. We have 3 grown sons but two are barely making it themselves and the third is in the National Guard and going through a divorce so he is unable to help also. I live with my fiancee and two dogs. Currently I am the only one working because he lost his job it is so hard to get a job in this economy. i only work part-time and get minimum wage. After getting gas and paying bills there is no money left over in my paycheck so the past few months we've been eating ramen noodles and cheap foods. I am 22 years old and have a 7 month old daughter and am working part time at Walmart. I get on average $600. a month in salary. I have had to have extensive dental work done which has cost over $4,000. I had to put this amount on a CareCredit card and don't make enough to even make the minimum payment due on my dental bill by the time I pay all my other bills, gas for the truck and diapers and stuff for my child. I am ineligible for welfare benefits, I do receive food stamps which helps buy my baby formula and food.

I am just trying to get this bill paid off. I work hard and love my job and have a dream of being a singer. I love to sing. I love my baby girl. This past year has been very hard because I've had to move to another town and start from scratch with my baby. I do not own a vehicle but am currently able to drive my grandparents truck. I want to be independent and take care of my child and my bills. That is my goal to be debt free. If you can find it in your heart to help me out even a little bit I would be most grateful

I am in desperate need of kind souls to help me and my family of 4 plus my grandbaby to keep from being evicted. I work every day and have tried my best to provide for my family on my minimum wage job. But I have fallen behind and am facing eviction. We are short $1200 and have 5days to come up with money. I am absolutely sick with worry because I have no resources to draw from. My granddaughter is only 8 months old and I am her primary caregiver. I feel a failure! On top of that I am behind the power bill $619 and $355 on my car. I really hope theres someone out there that can help even if it's only a dollar. Please please answer my prayers!

Until last year I was a happily married young mother. Now my husband has basically disappeared leaving my daughter and I burried under a pile of credit card debt that I didn't even know we had. I work two jobs and struggle every day to put food on the table, pay the rent, and make the minimum payments.
