Hello, I've never done this before but, I'm desperate.
I'm 19 years old and my family is going through a divorce, my mother never furthered her education and has been a house wife for the entire 20 years they have been married and simply supported my dad and all his pursuits.

When I turned 18 my dad left for a gas station woman he'd known for maybe a total of a few months. Let me state he tried to have an affair with her, it wasn't till my mother confronted him that he said he wanted a divorce; My dad is a repeated cheat, I was never aware of this till the day he left, then all the lies came out of the closet.

We run a small chimney sweep business, the office is located at my mother's as she sets the appointments. She does not receive a pay check because during their marriage it was easier on taxes, they have decided to keep it this way and instead dad just covers the bills.

Now the business is great in the winter but we are in spring now and as you may already know no one uses their fireplace in the middle of warm weather! No they go outside and have bonfires. Now my dad is going blind due to diabetes and simply cannot work, we have hired a friend to do the jobs now while my dad just tells them what needs to be done and oversee's the work to the best of his ability. However, his reputation of leaving his wife and daughter for a woman he barely knows has
gotten around and I've heard the clients say they don't want business from a man like that.
My dad also wants to spend money we do not have, he is trying to sell an old sports car so we can put another work truck on the road, we don't have enough work to keep the one truck going we most certainly can't afford the regular expenses of another! My parent's can't even afford to legally divorce, and he want's a new truck. The one he has is fine, I don't understand why he won't use that money for bills.

Now any money I earn myself I have to give to my parents to help alleviate the burden of the bills, but what I contribute is not enough and now we have received the nasty call from the mortgage that they are foreclosing. While I hand all my savings to my parents can't save for my education, and being homeless will make it almost impossible. I've no famly or friends to turn to and we do not have a shelter here. I'm under the age of 24 so I cannot get any financial aid for school without a legal guardian to sign for me, and my parents refuse to think realistic; When I ask them what are we going to do? they say "Winning the lottery is the only thing that can save us." They have lost hope, I understand things are bad... but is it so bad that they can't help me get financial aid?

We currently need $136,000 to pay the house completely off, I'd love to have that, if you find it in your heart to give us our home I'd never be able to forget it. I'd be forever grateful and I'd love to return the favor someday so please feel free to give me an e-mail to contact.

If someone actually reads this I hope you can reach out and help my family. I guess where to begin would be difficult for me since having to hear about money started at a young age. I could give you a whole sob story but I am not going to I'll just tell you a little about ourselves. My momma was a high school dropout and had three kids me included, she never went back to get a higher education. She married my step dad when I was around seven years old. My middle eldest brother is mentally retarded and my mom did so much trying to help him but it did not work so now he is in a halfway house hopefully being set onto the right path. My step dad is somewhat of an emotionless person because of the way he grew up and because of a leg injury from last year has a hard time finding a job he can do despite all the searching he has done. My eldest brother is so smart but he's wasting his life away at a fast food franchise called cookout, but the brightside for him is he has found true love and expecting a baby. Now onto me I tried looking online to see if their was anything an eighteen year old like me could do to get some extra much needed money for bills but had no luck because they all need money first which is what I don't have. My mom and me have always been very close and im so sick and depressed of seeing her waste away trying to pay all of the bills with what little money she earns at a dead end job. I give my weekly paychecks to my mom just so she can make ends meet and we both only work part time due to all the cut backs on hours from the recession going on. I don't know what else I can say except it would be a miracle from God if something from posting this would happen because I am so unlucky I can't imagine ever winning anything and we are just an ordinary family nothing special about us except that we're in desperate need of a hero.

Four years ago our house was paid for. The only debt that we had was $13,000 for a camping trailer.

17 years ago I worked for a Fortune 500 company. I got sick at work due to chemicals and they fired me. My doctor said that I can only work from home. I can’t find a company that will allow me to do that. My husband had a good job as a union truck driver but the company closed his terminal so he also lost his job.

Before my husband lost his job the FMCSA made him get an exemption to drive. He was off from work for 9 months. Then he had to have 2 hips replaced and was off again for 3 months. During that time we had some major expenses like a new well and furnace. Two weeks after my husband lost his job our home was flooded and our insurance didn‘t cover anything. I also lost my car that was 11 years old. I now drive one that’s 15 years old and my husband drives one that’s 12 years old. My husband did get another job 3 weeks after he lost his but he makes 1/3 of what he did.

During the time that he was off from work and since he lost his good job we wanted to keep our bills paid and our credit good. We were forced to use our home equity loan. Now we are almost at the limit of $100,000. With the housing market falling our house is now worth about half of what it was. We owe way more than what it is worth. I’m am afraid that we are going to lose our house. This has caused marriage problems between my husband and I. I am depressed and anxious most of the time.

My prescriptions alone are $1260 a month. The year before last my husband made less than $28,000. This year he did make over $30,000. We make just enough that we are not in poverty. So, we do not qualify for any assistance. What kind of help is available for the poor working middle class that is trying to keep their bills paid?

I am currently a single mother trying to work a full time job but I constantly struggle to make ends meet. My boyfriend is currently unemployed. I'm caught in the middle of one of those payday loan scams right now which keeps making me lose like half my paychecks. I really just need a little help with gas food and diapers to make it til next week! Even 5 dollars would help a lot. Thank u very much, from my daughter and myself.

Tears streaming down my cheeks, no food in the house, constant calls from creditors, fear of bleak or no future. Scared, alone, I was once a happy, yet bullied girl, a hopeful, kind young woman, now a quivering, frightened, middle aged ball of confusion, that can't even offer an explanation how life became so Un-Livable. I am in the military and haven't been able to see my parents for a long time...I have been in training for over a year. I am about to graduate in a couple of weeks and am living paycheck to paycheck,so I don't have the money to get them here. They also cant afford it because they just lost their house about a three months ago and are almost to the point of being homeless. I just was asking for the money to be able to bring them out to see my graduation. I'm in CA and they re in Va, I just know that this would make them feel so blessed in the middle of their crisis. I'm feeling a little ashamed of doing this but I am going to ask for help for once in my life. I am a single mother of 2. My youngest son got in some major trouble and is since been in treatment and will be on probation for a long time. In the middle of this we got in a fight and I sent him to live with his dad. He was getting a divorce and I asked him to move into my house and look after the boys and I moved in with a friend. Well it all turned out to be one of my biggest mistakes. My sons dad paid no utilities and left a huge mess and moved in with his girlfriend my son called me and his Dad was drunk and he wanted to use again and couldn't take it anymore. I could go on and on. The bills he racked up for utilities and the mess he made me behind on taxes etc. I am asking for 2600.00 to pay my taxes and utilities turned back on and get moved back into my house. I am an unemployeed teacher, and have been for several years, initially to raise my young sons; now, there just are not any openings being I live in such a small town. This, of course, was good for the boys, but hard financailly. Then, about a year ago, my husband lost his job, which has totally devasted us. Like I said we live in a small town, out in the middle of nowhere, and little to no resources to help. My husband had no choice but to withdraw his retirement, which we have already exhausted. This is a feeling that cannot be described, knowing that there is nothing left. My husband has been a hard working man all his life, and still is at 58. He does do whatever job he can take in his trade for well below the going rate, but they don't pay the bills. As a matter of fact, I am extremely worried about my husband, because he feels so bad about our situation.

We would love to move to a place we can find work, but we can't afford the move. Since I have not been working, we could not save, so we only have money on hand, which now is only unemployment. We don't even qualify for foodstamps, or any state help, including medical! This is because the unemployment is 10.00 over the allowment, and the unemployment only covers the rent!
I'm not so concerned about my husband and I; it's my boys who are 11 and 12. They are good boys, who make good grades and are active in sports. This is a challenge to keep up the sports,as there are fees,and at least one usually goes on to All-stars, which costs more. I really don't want to deny them, if at all possible, but, I just don't know how to juggle it all....

We don't have any family to speak of, so this is why I am making this plea to anyone out there that may find it in their heart to help...

Hi everyone. My name is Denise I am 65 years old and a disabled veteran. I am from Springfield, Missouri. I have problems with my knees, legs, back and even though I can not get around easily, I am on a cane. I also suffer from severe depression, migraines and flash backs from war, I am very forgetful among other things. I had to move in with my son and daughter in law because I can not live alone or take care of myself. I have also had a triple bypass and have two brain tumors. What brings me here today is last night my chair broke. When i sit in it i start to sink down in the middle and I can't let my legs up. My son and his wife can not afford to get me a new chair. I have been watching Craigslist for one but I am having no luck at all. Having a comfortable recliner to rest in would mean the world to me. Thank you for taking time to read this. I have a young mare that I am desperate to have brought to me by tranport. I moved away from California in pursuit of a better paying job and to get out of escort work. I will do just about anything to avoid having to go back to that, including asking strangers for sincerely needed help. I am running out of time as the place she is kept at requires that she leave by the middle of April. I live with no luxuries, including no car to keep her because she means so much to me. Lucy makes my economic struggles worthwhile and provides motivation and gives me something to be happy about.

Recently, I was arrested on hearsay for a DV charge. The charge was dropped because it was untrue & unjust. I was the one assaulted; the judge concurred. Unfortunately, the altercation occurred at 3am on a Friday morning, on MLK weekend, and so what should've been a 12-hour stay, turned into 5 days. In the interim, my 4-year old daughter was kidnapped by CPS, simply because we have no family there--not for any other reason.
Upon my release, I discover that my daughter's already been handed to a foster home & that a hearing had been set for that morning; no one had even bothered to TRY to contact me about it. In my haste, I rushed to the courthouse next door, oblivious of a marijuana pipe I had in my possession (it may sound cliche, but it wasn't mine; I don't even smoke). I didn't get arrested for having it, but this is where the real problem began.
To make a long story short, I pled guilty ONLY to hurry & get my daughter out of a stranger's house & agreed to have her placed with her VERY part-time father who'd only seen her on average 10 days a year since birth (his choice).
Since then, he's attempted to cut me off from her--denying calls & visits. I obtained an attorney, so thus far I've been allotted ONE day per week for 4 hours to see the child I've raised alone since birth!
Additionally, I've worked for her father for 5 years--he's snatched that from me as well. He went on to choose a facility that costs $180 per visit! So, I have no income now, no employment & I have to drive 7 hours to get there. Friends and family have run out of resources to assist me. I still owe the attorney over $1,000 & until visitation is adjusted I'll have to keep paying this ridiculous amount.
I am not your typical stereotype of this sort of matter. I'm college-educated. So are my parents. I grew up middle-class. This is so unfair to me & my child. You see I live in Tennessee in the middle of nowhere, the only hope I have is to find something online, will someone let me know please?

I am a recent Volunteer At saint Joseph Hospice in Rawalpindi,Pakistan and a member of Pakistan Red Crescent Society.I am Regular Blood Donor For The last 1 year.The hospice is located in the heart of Westridge but my home is somewhat around 35 km away ,i admit that i belong to a middle class family but due to some family health problems i am now being told that we cannot afford your travel expenses which is 5000-6000 Pkr plus i have to got PCRS on several times a week.

There are only 3 three volunteers excluding me and we have to attend couple of depressed people (suicidal s) , handicapped and bed sores patients and at the play with some orphans as well ,total beds are about 60.Sisters are highly corporative and there staff as well but still being a 18 years old teenagers the fun is still better then the aged ones.

I have been fostering feral cats in my rented home for about a year. They are desperately hungry pitiful creatures and I provide them with food, beds, blankets and shelters on the property. Now my landlord has decided he wants to sell the home and refuses to renew the lease. We are hoping to raise enough money to be able to buy the house and stay in the home. If we have to leave the property then these poor creatures will be lost and abandoned once again. We have been able to bring in some of the kittens but most of them are ferals and they are not adoptable. Their only hope for survival is to continue to come to us for food and shelter. We spend all the spare money we have to feed them and we just do not have the funds to put a down payment on the house. These cats have come to view the home as a place to eat and sleep and feel safe. So much so that one of them was out and got hit by a car. In the middle of the night with a broken hip she managed to crawl her way back to our house where we are currently nursing her back to health. We feel so guilty abandoning them since they have come to depend on our sanctury and wil be lost and miserable if we move. Please please I appeal to all you animal lovers to help us raise enough money to buy the home and take care of these precious creatures who have been completely abandoned to the world. We are their only salvation. Please help our time is very limited.
