I don't want this to be another single mom sob story, but unfortunately it may sound that way. I have 3 precious little boys, one who has several special needs (austism, cerebral palsy, ADHD) and requires a lot of attention.
I lost my job a month ago and have gone through all of my savings not that there was much there. I am about to be evicted, my car was reposessed two days before Christmas, Merry Christmas!
I want to move to a small apartment near their school, I just don't know how. I can't afford the $17 a day in bus fare so I walk the 9 miles home and to their school which eats up most of the time between drop off and pick up.
I feel like I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place!

Hello everybody. I never thought I'd do this one day, but I'm willing to try.
I'm a 35 years old man living in Europe, who has just discovered that his job contract won't be renewed in 2012. As you may know, the financial situation in Europe is in deep crysis and my country (Italy) has just dramatically raised taxes, while prices are skyrocketing and incomes are lower than ever.
I live on my own and my mother just can't afford helping me forever. My father, unfortunately, passed away ten years ago.
With such a ridiculous notice from my company, I'm facing a whole lot of bills to be paid and no money to keep up with them. I have to pay rent, taxes, fuel and my car's repair. Additionally, I'm planning to take my ex company to court and sue them, but that takes a long time and quite a sum to be started.
All I'm asking for is a little help, anything you'd want to donate will be greatly appreciated.

I am the father of newborn twins who works as a 911 dispatcher. My wife is now a stay at home mom, who worked with severely handicapped children. Due to a series of unfortunate circumstances, we find ourselves in a home that is underwater with the mortgage, and being offered as a short sale. We have resigned ourselves to the fact that we can no longer stay in our home, and will have to move on. My Christmas wish would be for someone to help me with the 35k that built up on my credit card while I tried to keep up with the mortgage. I am asking for help to pay our bills. We live in Detroit and over here jobs are not around. We have two kids and we are in dire straights. What I am hoping for is 5,ooo. After almost a year of denying that I truly am a victim of domestic violence, making excusses and all, I was shown pictures of what was done to me and oh my goodness, I was in shock, and sitting back and looking at what I have been through for the past few years made me wake up. Even though my abuser is not around at the moment, he has made many threats, I am needing to get to a safe place, I know where I am going, just need the funds to do it. I have 8 year old child that I need to get in a safe and happy enviorment. I've been told that we are being watched and that scares me. I need to get out of here Asap. I have 5 kids, my last pregnancy was twin boys. My kids are in elementary school and middle school. As a single mom, I cannot afford the basics of life, food, heat and shelter. I try my best working for 8 dollars a hour part time while they are at school. My oil is just about out. I put in an application at social services and they said they would call for the interview but they have not. God help us, if you need help from the government and social services you will get the run around until they hope you give up. Thanks so much for letting me vent this out. Hello all. I am 31 and live alone at the moment. I returned home the other day to see that my back door had been kicked in and of course I was cleaned out.I did not have insurance so I am out of luck. Of course I cannot compare with some of the stories on this site but it sure is depressing to live alone and now without a tv or anything to distract me from the fact that I am barely scraping by and some lowlife came in and stole my things. This is my first endeavor into cyber begging or what ever they call it. As I was looking at the sites and stories I realized my dilemma is quite small compared to others. I am almost embarrassed to write it but here goes. I am currently homeless, staying in a shelter with a bone disease in my right leg. It is not fatal but it sure does present a not being able to support myself situation. The future while it looks better is still bleak on the money front. My bone disease is not going away for ten years they tell me. That’s it I can not work, I am horrendous medical shape, I am out of funds, I would really appreciate help. My daughter and I have been in and out of relatives homes and shelter's every since she was a baby...now we finally got our own housing but not able to pay the storage in order to furnish it....by Dec 16 2011 they will auction off my storage at 1pm EST if I don't come up with the total due of $810 to be able to get my belongings out....I would certainly appreciate any help that is rendered and it would put a smile on my 11 year old daughter's face also keep us from losing all our belongings such as clothing , toys, stereo,tv. dining room set, entertainment center etc. We have not had a stable life in along time and I really thank each and everyone that can donate....I will not be able to give my daughter any presents for Christmas in addition to hopefully saving the storage by asking for donations....but if can accomplish that....I see it being mines and her Christmas....Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to each and everyone of you.

Im a single mother who just got layed off from my job the week after Thanksgiving. I signed lease and gave deposit for a new place for my girls and i so we wouldnt be around the drug neighborhood anymore. the week after i did that and started moving in our new home i unfortunately got layed off. I applied for unemployment that is still pending,used what little check i had for food and personal products for new place. new landlord will not wait for anything. its cold out,the holiday season is here and as of right now if i can not get this help for rent that i so desperately need im going to lose everything including my new home and everything i own in it but most importantly my two girls who i have supported for the last 6 yrs alone. the children services board told me i had until dec. 16th( my oldest girls b-day) to get things taken care of with this problem or they were going to take my girls from me that afternoon. plz my prayers are that someone out here will have a very huge heart and be in xmas spirit and me and my two girls have a warm place to lay our heads and be together for xmas. we are all each other has . god bless everyone but especially to the ones who can and will help my girls and i have a good xmas together. My name is Andrew I am 22 years old and I was in a severe car wreck that put me in the hospital, since then I have been out of school and on the streets off and on. My medical and car repair bills have eaten my life savings, and my family wants nothing to do with me. I will be alone this Christmas but all I want is to be indoors and to have enough food to eat; while I look for work, and one day go back to school. Please Help! Yesterday, my wife was let go of her job. We have a five year old little girl and I work two jobs, 14 hours a day to support my family. Without my wife's income, we are literally sunk. We will barely have enough money to keep the lights on and food on the table. I am not asking for a hand out, more like a "hand up" until we can get back on our feet. Whatever little amount you can spare would make such a big difference in our lives. I am a very proud person and do not like to ask for help, but I feel like I am out of options at this point.
