i am a pre op transsexual finding it very difficult to buy meds and maintain a roof over head. my insurance no longer covers the medications im prescribed so i have to buy them out of pocket. at the moment my only income comes from selling jewelry and that is barely enough to buy all my meds needed let alone maintain a roof over head. i cant work a regular job because i have crippling form of agoraphobia which often leaves me stuck in doors im currently couch-surfing with friends when ever allotted but even that has dwindled to just a few. im asking for help from anyone who has a kind enough heart to pay it forward and lend me a hand. i cant offer much in return maybe some of the rings im selling and access to my transition site tracking my transition

My daughter, mother, sister and myself are all that we have left. Lung cancer killed my dad, prostate took my grandfathers, breast took my aunts, colon took my uncles. I have cried everyday, all day. We have very little family and very little money. The funerals costs, the bills, took everything we had. We are flat broke. We are behind in all of our bills, rent,utilities, credit card and we really need help. My daughter is 7 and she cries and understands that we are very poor and we don't know anyone who we can turn to. I am begging with a sincere heart in hopes that any amount can be donated can save our small family and keep us going. I am constantly looking for work, but with my mom fixed income, my sister's disability and a young child I am always needed to get medicine, or to wash and clean my family and care for them. Any donation will sincerely be appreciated with humbleness and gratitude and I hope you will receive twice as much for your sympathy.

behind on my bills cant catch up i am disabled and only recieve 855.00 a month
i just seemed to be getting deeper into debt my license is expired right now due to a seat belt ticket and i have to pay 590.00 in june to get license back but the bills i wont be able to pay i dont know what to do i need my license to go to and from doctor to and from for meds i am a good person not a scammer this is a real beg if their is someone out their to help me with their kindness

I hope I don't have to go through that. I have until May 25 to pay my power bill or they will shut it off.

I have been unemployed for a time, have had yard sales and have nothing left to sell.

I make a few bucks doing yard work but not enough. Things should be turning around for me soon but for now, if I lose power my fish will die and I will loose all communication (ie computer etc..)

I am a huge believer in Paying It Forward and would greatly appreciate any help at all, and when I am on my feet I will surely help others that are in bad times.

I also need to get my thyroid meds by next week.
And I could use some help with buying some basic supplies for me and the cats, like food and toilet paper.

Hello. I am bipolar and in the process of applying for disability. Due to my bipolar I cannot keep work and am trying to get myself and my survival together while in the disability process. I applied mid April for disability but it will be several months until anything is done.
Right now I am in need of help for medication and my counseling fees. My medication is 347.00 a month and my counseling fees have to be paid upfront and those are 25.00 a week. I haven't had my medicine in 2 days and if I go much longer I will be in bed crying for days. I don't like to skip my counselor but I will to get my meds.
I just need help until SSI comes through...please..

Hi I am a mom of 3 children, 1 a special needs child. I work as a nurse assistant but it only covers about half of our needs. I work hard and do my best every day and try to keep a smile and a good attitude but sometimes your best just isn't good enough. My special needs baby is 8 years old and is speech impaired, deaf in one ear, severely asthmatic, and has ADHD. Medicaid pays for most of the meds and specialists but not all. I pay for some of his meds and specialists and then there's the gas to go to and from. All in all I'm spending about $800 per month that medicaid is refusing. I haven't been able to get an answer why as of yet. I've applied for social security for him but have been denied twice and now am awaiting a hearing which I am told could be anywhere between 18 and 21 months just to get a hearing date. I only make about $1500 per month so simple things like even a trip to the laundromat is a challenge. Apart from my son's problems I also have 2 baby girls aged 9 and 6 to take care of. Thanks be to God they are healthy. All of my family has passed away due to various forms of cancer so it's just my children and my husband and self. He is out of a job presently and has been seeking work since being laid off from his last job (about 7 months). I have applied for a pell grant and registered for LPN classes at the local community college to try to help myself but it will take about 15 months to finish school let alone get a job. I've managed to pay rent but am 2 months behind on the internet bill (used for school) am 5 months behind in car payments and am at risk of a repo any day. If I lose my car then how am I going to be able to go to work,school, take the kids to school, take the kids to the doctor,grocery shop, do laundry, or anything else? I currently do not have auto insurance because I can't afford it.(was cancelled for nonpayment 2 days ago.) I managed to pay my water and cell(about $100) to keep that going. I am almost a month behind on my electricity but have managed to keep it going by paying about half the bill per month. As of now, I have a balance of $150. I don't know what to do. If anyone would please help us I would be forever grateful and appreciative.

Recently, I was kicked out of my parents house and dropped as a dependent. This means I lost all of my insurance to go along with it. I take many medications per day, including meds for migraines, fibromyalgia, bipolar and panic disorder, insomnia. However, the most important reasons I need my meds are for my endometriosis. I was diagnosed at 17 when I had surgery due to the severe pain I had been going through for years, and the doctor's comments were that my case was the worst he had ever seen - especially in someone so young. My most recent doctor acknowledged that I would need to have a historectomy early due to the endo. He also stated that I would need to conceive soon to ensure that I could get pregnant at all. I have been on Depo Lupron for a while but have not finished my treatment to clear up my endo. Now I do not have the money to receive the shots. I'm really hoping I will be able to conceive...

in a couple of weeks i will be homeless. after becoming unemployed two years ago i was living off money which i had from cashing in my retirement account. after taking a couple of months for leisure ( i hadn't had an actual vacation, aside from a long weekend here or there, for the past 12 years) i was in the beginning phase of starting a small business. then i had a heart attack. i had surgery to place a stent in one of my arteries. it seems that i was born with a twisted artery and had been living with it all my life suffering no ill effects. according to my doctor artery walls are fairly thin and pliable when one is young, but as a person ages the walls thicken and become less pliant. when you combine these two factors with the twist of the artery, the result is a cutoff of the flow of blood to the heart. my doctor said that had i waited another day to come into the hospital, i would have died. while the surgery left me weak, it was the anti-rejection medication that i was on which was the problem. it left me so tired and weak, that after a walk to and from the local bodega just two blocks from my apartment , after i walked in the door i had to lay the bags down and sit and rest for a half hour or more, before i could put groceries away or even thinking about standing up and preparing food. quite a change from when i was biking 5 miles a day/ five days a week and lifting weights several times a week. my bank account was swiftly drained due to the cost of the hospital stay/surgery, and to the cost of medications ($130/month).
once i was off the anti-rejection meds and feeling well enough to work, i began searching for a job seeing as my hope of starting a business drained away with the money in my bank account. but unfortunately, with the economy the way it is, i have been unsuccessful in my search. i am now virtually penniless and am being evicted from my apartment. i am have sold off what few possessions i have in order to have some cash to buy the things i need for living on the streets, but the accumulated amount came to less than $100.

I am a 43 year old woman who had a heart attack in February. WHile I'm getting back on my feet, I am also trying to finish my last semester of college. hi im not sure how promising this website is but i guess we shall see. first off im not begging for money but i please ask that you add me to your prayer because i could sure use it. here is my story: I am 24 years old i have been working full time since i was 16 and had my own place the day i turned 18 my mom raised 3 kids all alone so she taught me to be independent when i turned 20 i was diagnoosed with Crohns disease i only had few flare ups and for the most part stayed in remission as of april 4 2012 my world has been turned upside down not only am i not in remission anymore but my body is rejecting medication which is resulting in me losing my intestines and having a colostimy bag for the rest of my life but the hospital ran a ct scan on me when i was in the hospital for a 3 1/2 week stay and found one large lump and 4 small lumps in my left breast and a large mass on my left ovary, at this point they arent concerned about the mass on my ovary but the large lump on my breast doesnt look good at all. i am now deeply depressed and just asking for a prayer i am home from the hospital now but i cant pay my bills or afford my medication all my bills are now past due and i havnt had meds in 2 days i dont know what i will do next ive applied for medicaid and awaiting my approval my dr adviced me to apply for disability which i did but it is a 3-6 month process on top of all these health problems i have, now i have all these bills that i look at over and over everyday i have never not been able to pay my bills and not been able to buy food and now i have nothing im negative in my account because my car insurance gets directly taken out... sorry so long guess i just needed to vent even if you cant spare one dollar please all i ask is for a prayer i never thought at age 24 i will be dealing with this but like my mother used to tell me "god will not give you what you cant handle" so please just keep me in mind when saying a prayer

I need help, I cannot afford the medication I need. I work full time but my insuranse won't cover it. I live pay check to pay check. I won't die without it, I will just suffer. let me begin by saying my husband had #3...major strokes all at once as a result he is still paraylezed
on his right side. and it affected his speech.
He has always had high bloodpresure and sometimes we could not afford his meds witch ultimately led to the strokes.
that being said i have been suffering hearing loss and dont have ear drums n in need of surgery...as well as dental...probs.

My name is Donna and my husband,Tom,is a disabled diabetic. He has been diabetic for 20 years and for the past 7 years, he has been totally unable to walk. He gets SSI but it is not much. I ork but only for minimum wage. Our car stopped running on Feb. 14 and we do not have the extra finances or credit to be able to buy another one. As a result, he has not been to a doctor since to get refills on his medicines or insulin needles. He is getting sicker every day. I would like to get out and look for a better job but can't do that either. I have to push him in the road if he wants to go anywhere otherwise, I walk to the grocery store to buy food. We are behind in all of our bills but only a little bit. We just need someone would could help us with a car and a little to pay up our bills. This has been really hard on my husband. He feels depressed and useless because there is nothing he can do to help and is basically stuck in the apartment. Without his medicine, it gets worse every day. His blood sugar has been staying over 600 and I have no way to get it back down to an acceptable level. It is causing havoc with the rest of his body also. We desperately need a car to get him help. We have 3 grown sons but two are barely making it themselves and the third is in the National Guard and going through a divorce so he is unable to help also. My name is Gary Griffin , im a 32
year old man that used to be a very hard worker in the job force, in
2010 I became very ill and had to stop working , i tried to get social
security dissability and have been denied 2 times and now am having to
wait for a hearing infront of a judge, they keep giving me some excuse
that my age and ability to get retrained for other work is the reason
for denile. I have congestive heart failure, enlarged heart, and an
irregular heartbeat requiring a defibulator implant in my chest , and
now have type 2 diabeties on top of that, with my medical problems I
can no longer work, just living around my house seems like a full time
job now. I have exausted all available unemployment insurance. and now
have no way to pay my bills and support my family, bills are piling up
and ill be lucky to pay rent, ( having to borrow from my brother) . I
am lost and dont know what to do , i cant get a job but need money to
live on untill i go to court for ssd. do you have any suggestions I could really use some donations right now! sorry for the sob
story but I am going mental trying to figure this out ! I already get
food asistance but food stamps dont pay the bills lol. I really need

My mom is a poor single lady with health problems living in the midwest. She never gets to do anything or go anywhere. She is a sweetie and goes to church. She recently lost a bunch of weight with diet, exercise, and hard work and was able to go off all her diabetes and blood pressure meds!

This coming August 2012, I would like to fly her out here near me (San Francisco) and give her a week of vacation where she does not have to spend a dime, as she has no money. She lives on a farm with nothing around. She has never been to the San Francisco or Sonoma area.

As for me, I am a single young lady here in SF and I work in I.T. for a living but only have enough to pay my rent (i live alone and support myself) and electricity and food. Nothing more.

I would like to bring my mom to the Napa/Sonoma vineyards on a wine tour. Maybe the wine train tour? Also to Fishermans' Wharf and do all the touristy things. Also a brunch cruise. The Aquarium. California Academy of Sciences. Ripley's Wax Museum. Fine Dining, a concert (maybe Yanni). And I dont know what else.

Plus, her airfare ($500) to get here and back.

This is a dream that I want to fulfill with my mom. You never know how long you are going to have your mom around, and I want to make this vacation spectacular for her! Nothing I want to do with my mom is all that expensive. But I want it to be MEANINGFUL, heartfelt, and a trip she wont forget.

(I originally wanted to give her a trip to Hawaii, but there is no way I can afford that.)

This is no emergency. I do not want to compete with the people out there needing heart surgery. This is just a vacation with my mom.
But you never know unless you have the courage to ask, right?
Any amount will help. I'm going to put every penny into a Chase Savings account and save until August when Mom gets here for a week of vacation; August is also my birthday. (if we can afford it).
