Hello,

I have been hesitant to write this post but I am really desperate. I am a psychology pre-med student with a 3.9 GPA in my final year of college. I also volunteer at a local hospital 20 hrs a week and at a counselling center. I work as a tutor and have been able to raise money for one semester, however I simply cant afford my last semester which is 2500. I would love to work more hours but i am an international student, therefore I can only work 20 hours a week.

I am begging anyone willing to help me, to help in anyway. I ahve come so close and worked so hard, I cant imagine quiting at this point.

I was in a very bad car accident and don't have enough med pay to pay my medical bills. Additionally, I am struggling to even buy food right now. Please help a girl out - I will pay it forward.

I am not even asking for money. I just need a cosigner for my GraduatePLUS loan for med school and don't have anyone. I have been accepted to Ross University for September, 2012. I am getting the standard Direct loan from the government but that does not even come close to covering the cost of med school so I also need the government PLUS loan, which requires a credit check. I have OK credit, but it's not great and I know I won't qualify.

I know that this is a huge undertaking, especially for a stranger. I also realize the added risk to you, given the fact that I will be attending a foreign medical school. However, I am an incredibly driven and responsible person who will (obviously) stop at nothing to realize my dream of becoming a doctor. If you are considering helping me, please make yourself aware of how this might affect your credit until I can release you from the loan (because I am not even 100% aware of what all of the implications might be. I was a biology major, not a finance major). Best case scenario: you have enough money and good enough credit that this will never affect you; you can sign it and forget about me as I promise I will never cause you any trouble. One thing is for sure: if you do this for me, I will certainly never forget you. Please have some faith in the human race and help me help others. Thank you.

I'm 34 years old and I am here to beg for help. I need help with paying a medical debt, current medical bills, continued health care, and also catching up on household bills as all of those are at minimum 1 month behind now.

I have had a variety of health problems for the last few years, these have also interfered with my employment. While I am still employed part time for now, it is nearly impossible for me to work more than that. The most recent issue had me in a wheelchair and on crutches for several months. I'm walking now, but with a great deal of pain. I don't have insurance and I can't afford the physical therapy I need to help get me back to somewhat normal.

I have several thousand dollars in medical bills. A huge issue at the moment is that one of my many med bills had been sent to collection, then I was sued and a garnishment was granted. My paychecks are not even up to the minimum for garnishment, so they have refiled to freeze my bank account and take my money from there instead. They wouldn't get anything out of it at the moment since I'm broke, but it would leave me unable to use my account to pay my basic bills such as rent, electricity, water, etc.

I also need to see a dentist and an optometrist. It has been several years since I have seen either and I need new glasses and 2 crowns. I've been living on borrowed time with the 2 temporary crowns that were put in several years ago.

I have a very small family and I cannot turn to them because only my stepfather is working and he is already supporting my mother, my sister, & my nephew.

Just to get the bank garnishment taken care of and help me get back to the doctor I need a little over $1900.00. Any more would go to my other medical/dental/vision expenses.

My wife finished med school 10 years ago. since then we have been trying everything to get out from under the coast of school. And we are able to pay the bills but we would love to be able to use the money to give to other charities.instead of the banks. So if we were able to get rid of the remaining $70,000 of debt (half of the original debt) we would be able to donate $10,000 more a year from now until she retires in about 20 years = 200,000 thank you and everything helps

The college I want to go to is pretty much my dream college! It’s so
awesome! It has the best Vet program in my state if not the only
program in my state. It’s most likely the only college that offers
actual vet Med and not just the per-requirements in my state. Their vet
program is what first got me interested in my sophomore year of college.
I got to looking at it and it became the school I most wanted to go to.
It just seems like a really good fit for me. I would really really love
to go here! It has everything I would need. i cannot for the life of me
find another college I would rather go to, but even if I did I would
still need to do this to raise money for my college fund because as you
all know tuition prices are rising every year and it’s getting more and
more expensive to go. I’m 22 now and would really like to get started on
my college career. I’ve been to community college with the help of a
pell grant, but that just isn’t going to cut it. I really have to go to a
university to further my career. I don’t want to be waiting around too terribly long to be
graduating college or even really getting started good. It would mean
the world to me to get to go to college sometime in the near future. My
mental health also rides on going. I’m depressed because I’m not going
and I see what others in my high school graduating class have
accomplished and well it depresses me too because I’m no where near
getting close to getting a job in my field of study. Where as they have
finished school and working in their field or is in the internship
phase. Either way I’m ready to get started on truly accomplishing my
dreams and getting a career. I do not want to end up like my parents and
grandparents and have no college degree even though I want one. I want
to do something they didn’t and what they told me to do if I could and

Well anyway the cost of the college is $25,000 a year, but this doesn’t
include professional costs which will be closer to $40,000 for Vet Med.
Though I’m only looking to get $25,000 for right now. I’ll just want to at least get to go for one year.

Tuition and fees for year are $8,698, Books and Supplies
would be around $1,100, Room and Board will be around $9,992, Other that
they charge will be around $5,166. I should get a pell grant, but I’m
not sure I may not but that will most likely only pay $2,000 if I’m lucky $3,000. I’ve applied to scholarships, but I don’t stand out so I’ll be lucky to even get one if that. With my luck I won’t get one. So I’ll still need a good bit.


So as you can see it will be very
expensive. I will greatly appreciate anything you donate to help me
afford to go to college. I know I most likely won’t get the amount I’m
going for, but I hope to
get most and try to keep from having to take out huge loans.

I don’t to have a huge debt coming out of college if I can help it.

hello, my name is Darren. 9 days ago the love of my life fell down a flight of stairs. recently loosing her job she has no insurance. recently loosing our home due to a zoning change we are staying with friends, seperatly, with two beautiful girls, Madisen 10 and Bailey 10, and i dont know what to do anymore... our girls are staying with relatives so i can stay at the hospital with my love, melinda... she fell and broke her skull, orbital, coller bone, 3 ribs, L-5 vertabrea, and pelvis. she had surgery 7 days ago on her pelvis and cannot yet stand. i dont know where she will be able to go if anywhere for rehab due to no money and no insurance... any help at all with med bills, money for gas, money for clothes for our kids, food, an old double wide trailor we could put back on our land, ANY HELP AT ALL WOULD BE A GODSEND, please please read and pass this on to your church or friends... to get ahold of us please feel free to start with an email... doglooplab69@live.com please help if you can and thank you... 2 weeks agoe my significant other fell down a flight of stairs, she has recently lost her job and has NO insurance... she broke her skull, orbital, coller bone, ribs 2,3,&4, L-5 vertibrea, pelvis, and tail bone. We also recently lost our home (trailor) due to a zoning issue. We got a notice and had 30 days to move out and get rid of it. We got a storage shed and went to stay with friends... seperate friends. We have two girls both 10 and things have been really hard on all of us. We already have enough medical bills with my recent neck surgery, and with this... it seems like there is no end to our peril. Ive been staying at the hospital because my love can not yet even stand so ive been by her side. The kids are staying with relatives but I dont know what to do. with no home to rehabilitate in and no insurance no one will take her in when the hospital releases her and she still needs care... PLEASE IF ANYONE CAN HELP OR TAKE THIS STORY TO THIER CHURCH... IM KINDA LOOSING ALL HOPE. Zyrene was born with a bilateral profound sensorineural hearing loss. Her parents detected that she was deaf when she was 2 years old. Right now, she wore hearing aids on both ears but according to the results still she cannot speak any word or even hear sounds. The doctors and audiologist suggested her to undergo cochlear implant. Med-El Company already gave them the quotation for the procedure and it's worth $50,000.00 on both ears. They cannot afford the high cost of surgery and the implant that will put on their daughter's ear. No insurance covers that kind of procedure and they cannot sustain their daughter's need to hear. In September of 2008 I left my wife of 10 year after years of physical "meaness". She would not go with me to counselling. She would never stay at home. She would Leave and go to her mom's at least 3 to 5 nights a week. I left before and stayed gone for almost a year. We started dating again and she put on a good show. we got back together and very soon after that my son was born. He is 3 years old now. after he was born she was worse than ever and I decided that I did nor want my son to see her fits of rage toward me and my unhappiness so I left for good. The courts awarded her custody of our son because I never called the police or had any record of her rage. Then in March of 2009, I was laid off from my job after only being there a year. I looked for work for about 3 months without even getting an interview so I decided in the mean time to go back to school to better myself to make my life and my son's better. I have finished my Freshman year at a top culinary school now. While trying to juggle school, court, and searching for a job, I have also been trying to battle a blood pressure problem. Without income or insurance I have had to resort to going to the county health clinic. The meds I was on started to lose their effectiveness and my blood pressure shot up again so the county doctor prescribed another med to add to the ones I was alreadt taking. The combination turned out to be bad. Over a few months the combination sucked a big portion of the potassium out of my blood stream. The meds already lowered my pulse rate and the combination of the lack of potassium and low pulse rate landed me in the emergency room and over night in the hospital. This also caused the school to put me on medical leave. I cannot go back until the doctor releases me back to 100 percent. I am back to 100 percent again. I can start back to school next term. My problem is that I have to pay the school money for last term to be able to register. Also I am getting further behind on the child support since I have no income. Plus I owe the IRS thousands of dollars from 2009 due to the divorce and now the medical bills are coming in now. I still have not found a job and my unemployment benefits have been exhausted. I am lucky. I am able to stay with family while I get back on my feet. They do provide me with food and gas to pick up my son for his visitation times, but I want to be able to catch up and pay my child support to keep him healthy and happy and taken care of when he is not with me. I have had an extremely difficult time this past few months. Had major heart attack on 11/20/2011. we are at 100,000$ and counting in med bills prescriptions alone are over 100$ a month. Have not worked since heart attack. Rent due Today..650$ car insurance 300$ car payment 200$ electric cut off On fri,250$...no fore seeable income for at least next 30 days... all savings gone...you have no idea how bad this is right now with Christmas in two weeks. 10$ would be a godsend just to buy a little food with..my wife and kids deserve better for Christmas. Our Car was repoed when my husband was injured by a drunk driver. The med bills were more than the mere 10 thousand settlement and left us broke. He was always a good provider and worked hard from age 16. I was offered a full-time job but I need a good used car to get me to work that won't leave me owing repair bills. We have a 21 year old son who has autism and a 3 year old granddaughter we care for. Please help me to help my family. I was offered a job a a food service worker(cook) in a large unionized supermarket. If I get a car I already have the job and am supposed to start soon. I have no one who can loan me car and no one to give me a ride to work.I was just given an awesome job and I love to cook. If I can get there to this job, our lives will change for the better and I can help my husband, children, and granddaughter.QAlso , the people who "bought" our mobile home are indefault and owe us 6.700 dollars and we are about to get kicked out of our home as we depended on the contracted money owed to us and the buyer is a drug addict crack-cocaine user refusing to pay. I have not worked in months. I had to leave
my last job because, It was standing 8 to 10 hours day and I just couldn't do it anymore. I was afaid of being fired so I took a med. leave hoping to find help somewhere to fix my problem. I am in need of a hip replacement. It is so bad now that I can't walk with out cruches anymore. The hosp. will give me a 40% discount because of my income. But I need 2,000.00 down and the dr. needs 1,000.00 down, then I can make payments after I get back to work. I really want to get back to work I have tried to find a job for the last 6 months with no luck. The min. I walk in with a cane or cruch they are not willing to hire me. please any amount is welcome please help. I will be willing to repay as soon as I can get back to work. God Bless thanks

Hi, I recently lost my job. I'm a college student (pre-med) living in an apartment with one roommate. My half of the rent is $440, our bills add up to be about $80 a month each, and anything leftover goes to food. I have a dog that I need to take care of too, her needs go above my own. My parents do not have any money to loan out to me (part of why I'm in school, to do better)

My name is Rachel, and I will be a freshman at UNC Chapel Hill next year.

I plan on a pre-med course of study, and I ultimately want to become a neurosurgeon. I decided on this path for my life after a 6 year old buddy of mine died from a terminal brain tumor. I was outraged that modern medicine had nothing to offer her, and I decided to dedicate my life to changing the fate of other kids in her situation.


I received a $634 grant from UNC for financial aid, and that's it.

I estimate that I have to come up with about $9000 each semester in order to pay for books, travel, food, tuition, and room/board.

I have a part-time, minimum wage job at a local restaurant, but a majority of that money goes towards gas and insurance for my car.

So here's my plan: a penny is nothing. Worthless; what can you buy with a penny? Millions and millions of people visit Begslist every day, and millions of Begslist users have a penny they could spare.

The good news is, I don't even need millions of pennies. I only need 900,000 pennies a semester!

If requested, I can provide proof of my acceptance letter and intent to enroll at Chapel Hill.

I am a struggling college student trying to make payments to get through school. I am a biology and pre-med major. My dream is to become a doctor and help people live a long and great life. My mom was diagnosed with cancer about 3 years ago now, she went through treatment and has been getting positive tests ever since and the cancer is officially out of her system. This really effected me a lot and made my goal become 100x more important. Cancer research is something ive wanted to do ever since. I am a sophomore now and my part time job is barely covering all my expenses. Every year college tuition has gone up and i dont know if i can continue next semester. I already have loans but i find myself cutting back on a lot of essential everyday things which is starting to effect things negatively. If anyone could send me anything i would really appreciate it, help me obtain my dream! I also want to give back to my mom, with everything she went through and fought through she deserves it. I am a full time student of Campbellsville University and am getting married in the summer. I am paying for the wedding myself and its the hardest thing i have every done in my life. I am studying pre-med, working 30 hours and going to class 18 hours a week. Weddings are so expensive and I am just trying to make it the best day ever for my fiance.
Me and my fiance have been dating for 5 years and are strong christians we have remained pure and are just following what god is telling us to do. Anything would help even if its just a dollar. Thanks so much for you time and reading this.

My best friend is slowly wasting away from severe anorexia nervosa after being in a physically and emotionally abusive relationship. She needs medical attention NOW, I have never seen anyone looking so sickly and thin. She tries to eat, but is unable to keep any food down. Please help, I am so worried about her! She had a scare last week with a cardiac arrhythmia...I got a call in the middle of the night saying she was in the Emergency Room and needed inpatient treatment. However, she is unable to afford the medical treatment she needs; I've even gone to her parents to ask for their help but they are financially incapable of taking care of their child. Apparently when she was in the ER, her blood tests came back with dangerous electrolyte levels and she could go into a coma. Please help! Amanda is the most beautiful and loving person I've ever met, she has such promise for the future, and I can attest that before this disorder started, she was on her way to doing great things. She was in a pre-med program at UCLA before she got too sick to continue. I don't know how to help her. Please, if you can give anything, even just $5. Anything helps.

I am 47 year old man ,diabetic, no insurance, i was once a general contractor in iowa
now divorced , living with my 80year old parents, I have spent the last money i had driving for a company doing sales only to be cheated out of my commissions by a crooked sales manager. I had to quit and was left with a Loss of $1500.00 and a income of $0 I am now flat broke,no money
I have submitted over 200 job applications in last 2 weeks
I dont have any gas money left, my car loan is behind , my cell bill is to, my parents can bairly afford to let me live there, and share the food they have. I cant stay living off them, I go to temp job office at 6am to bid on 10 or so jobs against 80+ people.
