My mechanic tells me I need a newer car right away but I don't have any money for one. It's so rusty the frame has cracked. It's literally being held together with a wire and chain so the frame doesn't rub on a back tire and give me a flat. And I need this to drive 12 miles and back to work every day to keep my paychecks coming in and for my ministry activities. And now the transmission is starting to go too. I can get a newer one right now for $5,000 that would last me for years but have no money and bad credit. So if you're asking the question, "How can the rich help the poor?" here's how. My wife and I are expecting baby number 4. We had a suv, but it was repossessed recently because we fell on hard times. We have a reliable car, but it is a sedan, and when the baby comes in September we won't have enough seats in the car to fit everybody. I can do basic tune up type maintenance, and a buddy of mine is an old school "shade tree mechanic", so I can fix one up if it's in safe condition. I have found suv's and mini-vans on craigslist for sale by owner for less than $2,000. I don't have that kind of money right now, and we are only 4 months away from the due date. Please consider helping us get the family vehicle we need.

I can't get out of the payday loan trap! My next loan is due Friday 3/23/12 and will take my entire paycheck! I also have $60 in tool bills due Friday-if I lose my tools, I lose my job as a mechanic. Beyond that, I have $107 phone bill that's overdue, and a $282 electric bill due on 3/27/12. If I don't pay the electric bill on time, my previous payment arrangement is void, and the entire $700 is due immediately or my power will be cut off. I work full time as does my spouse and we are doing everything possible to make ends meet, but we need to do more. We collect & sell scrap metal, recycle & repurpose, coupon, etc...the things the "experts" say to stretch a dollar. I know most people are just getting by as it is these days, but even just a dollar will help...that's enough for a meal for my beautiful 8 year old daughter. I have a $1/hr raise coming soon, but not soon enough. Thank you for your generosity.

Ok just to start I would like to say that I don't have a sibling with a cripling degenerate disease, or lost my parents in a freak skiing accident (both are living happily in France)and I am not trying to send a football team of disadvantaged kids to an unbelievably expensive disney themed resort.
All these are worthy of donations and if I were able to I would donate to them myself, however I am not and have instead found myself having to sign up to a web site basically begging for kind strangers to donate, even the smallest of change, to be able to turn my life back around.

I won't bore you with the details of my long struggles as im sure we have all been there at some point (long and drawn out 'woe-is-me' emails written on request) however, what i will say is that after throwing myself into the world of work at 16 I gained as much life experience and qualifications as I possibly could and worked my little toosh off all the way.
After educating myself as a Photographer and Lithographer throught the RAF (leaving to get married and have a child) I then went on to realise that living with an alcoholic was not so good 4 either my baby or I, so took the brave steps to leave.
I then put myself thought an apprentiship as a mechanic and loved it! However I found it very difficult to spend quality time with my child during the holidays so managed to get a job in a school, which was perfect, then when an abusive relationship led 2 my son and I becoming homeless I had to do what was best for my child and let him go to live with his reformed dad 200 miles away :(
I then went back to what I love, mechanics, as I tried to get my life back on track however work has dried up and just after xmas I was laid off so here I sit as a single 30 yr old with qualifications galore, unemployed!
Ok depressing prologue over and i will cut straight to it.
I am now trying to make a future that will make my life and my contact with my son (every third weekend and all holidays) easier, I am trying to re train as a mechanics teacher, however the hurdle I have come accross (I really should apply to the olympics with all this hurdle trainging I've had) is that the course is going to cost £6,000 and I will only get help towards half, now this is a little bit of an issue as I dont know anyone that could manage to find £3000 in change down the side of their sofa, so I am apllying to the masses, I am just asking for a whole lot of people to donate just a little bit so I could get sorted please.
I may not be the most in need and I may not have a heart wrenching story but I am honest and I am a nice person who is sick of those that dont have any morals always coming out on top, just for once I'd like the good person to win (more specifically me really lol) so if you could spare anything I would truly be so very grateful :) Thank you if you made it this far :) xx

My begging request is serious enough for me to google for help. I am hoping somebody out there will help us.

Our house is presently freezing and I am in dire need of temporary help to get some fuel to keep us warm as well as my precious lil dog. We ran out of fuel and because we have no money to pay the gas company in back fuel, we cannot get any propane. To add inujury to insult, we are also behind on our property and school taxes. We have a house in Michigan that we were renovating by the skin of our teeth so that we can sell it for money, but just yesterday, we received a certified letter with a tax foreclosure on it.The property taxes on that house is behind. We cannot afford to foreclose on this house as it is our ticket to some money to help us with this house. We owe the contractor money for the work he has presently completed. He is now threatened to put a mechanic lien on the house. As you can see, our dire situation needs help as soon as possible.

We got behind in all bills because we ran out of money. My significant other was diagnosed with cancer in 2009 with multiple surgeries and since then, we have been going downhill. Utilizing our savings, selling everything we can possibly see. We live month to month now from social security and disability checks. I have no place else to turn as my own family does not have any money to help me nor does my significant other. Every place we turn to for help with this issue is a dead end. His disability pays the mortgage. We are truly strapped right at the moment. Is there anything you can do to help us out on this very cold day and with our property taxes? I can pay back whatever money is loan because I have a law suit settlement pending for a car accident I was involved in which required my having surgery. I just don’t know where else to turn. Please help me? I am begging. (I can’t get a settlement load because I am on a contingency basis). Our credit scores are not the greatest and that prevents us from getting any type of a loan.

If there is any way underneath the sun someone can come forward and help us, it would be greatly appreciated OR please guide us to a source where we can obtain a loan with the way our credit now stands. I have a judgment (which just recently surfaced) and now I am starting to pay that off at $50.00 per month which is an additional bill I cannot afford.

I recently discovered I am pregnant with my first child and am overwhelmed. I am excited about the idea of becoming a mother and know that I will be a good parent. I am educated, hard working and love children.

I have been a dog rescuer for over 10 years, working as a foster parent for my local humane society. This is 100% a volunteer position that I donate a lot of my time, energy and resources to. In the past 10 years I have rescued, rehabilitated and re-homed over 300 dogs and puppies.

I do have a full-time job to pay my bills. I am a hard worker and have been at my current job for 6 years. However, due to the economy in my area, my income recently took a sharp nosedive. I am looking for additional work to supplement my income and/or a different full-time job (that is not commission based).

Unfortunately, my bills are now behind and my home is in foreclosure. I own a small farm in the country and have a great set-up for the foster work that I do and a great place to raise a child. Rentals in our area tend to be higher than what my mortgage payment is now ($550), so moving wouldn't be a better move for me financially. I am currently 3 payments behind.

With cold weather here now, my electric bill has spiked and is now averaging about $195 a month (most months it is only about $85-$90).

I own my vehicle outright, but it's older and seems to be in need of more and more repairs. Right now I am in debt to my mechanic $165 for brake work he did 2 weeks ago. It's an older SUV and a gas guzzler.

I do not live a fancy lifestyle, by any means. I do not have cable tv, high-speed internet, new clothes or shoes, expensive purses or designer sunglasses. I live a very modest and healthy life and do not believe in waste. I'm not a drinker, not a smoker and do not use drugs of any kind.

The humane society foots in the bill on all of the foster-dog related expenses (vet care, food, toys, etc.), so I have no money going out towards that. I have cut back on the number of dogs that I foster, from 2-3 at a time to just 1. I am a responsible foster parent and in no way a hoarder.

I intend to continue fostering up until I have the baby (due date is August 15th). I get so much personal fulfillment out of rescue work and I know will miss it when the baby comes. However, I know that I will want to focus 100% on my child and being the best mom I can be.

I have always been a big believer in paying it forward to the greater good. I'm hoping that this plea will reach someone out there who is currently in a comfortable financial position and willing to assist someone who is not.

I can, and will, provide proof of any of the facts I stated above, including a letter from my employer, a letter from the humane society director, copies of my utility bills, mortgage bill, etc., upon request.

Hie my name is Robert i never did this before so here i go. Im a soldier in the united states military,I served for three years in the army and sence i been in all i delt with was people screwing me over. Im still in the army but after my wife left me my finances had takin a big hit. I need help to get my car back so i can get to work and do what i need to do so i can better serve my country. i bought a car from a dealer were i live. For 60 days it drove fine no problems at all. But out of nowhere i needed a cps change and oil change. After getting the oil change my car wasn't working properly anymore. i had gotten it towed to a certified mechanic and they told me the people i took the car to put the wrong oil in the vehicle destroying everything. Engine, hoses, gaskets, clamps, everything. it needed a whole new rebuild. after wards i was slapped with a 6800 dollar bill. I tried paying it down but something always come up where i couldn't. I need help. I took the shop that put the wrong oil in my car to court even with the evadence, but the judge ruled against me, all because i didnt have anybody come and testify on my behalf. is this really what i get for being a soldier. if there is anybody please help me.I looked for a long time for help but can't seem to find any. Hello. I am 50 year old and recently lost the brakes on my 92 Chevy Lumina. Mechanic says the whole system

I am looking for help because my situation has gone from bad to worst. I have been battling a medical condition called Ankylosing spondylitis. I am also taking care of my mother who is 89 years old and in kidney failure, and to make matters worst, my nephew, who has been living with us since his mother's death, was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma and undergoing treatment at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas.

I was out of work for over a year because of the pain and inflammation that is constant. Last month I was forced to go back to work despite of my medical condition because of the expenses of traveling back and forth to get chemo therapy for Chris, the expense of adult care. Additionally, my mother was place on hospice care last week.

Then, of all things my car breaks down. Since there is no public transportation, I need help getting my car fixed. If I can just get some help with the repairs to my car, we can make it.
We have sold everything we could sale, we have cut back on food to 2 meals a day and we have no extra anything. This has been going on for almost a year. We have been denied social security benefits as well as medicaid, which is in appeals, but in the mean time, I need to get to work.
Can you please help the mechanic says oil leak and struts problem. I would be willing to set up a payback.

I never liked asking for help, but there comes a time when we all have to at some point ask for help on something. I fell on hard times recently and I was evicted from my apartment about 6 months ago. My job doesnt pay me a lot so I am struggling to keep up with my car note, cell phone, insurance, maintenance, and general daily and weekly expenses. I nearly got my car reposessed 5 months ago and I've been staying at my ex-mother in law's house and my girlfriend's place off and on so I am not sleeping in my car. Most would think you could live with your girlfriend, but she wants me there it's her grandmother who's making life hard for the both of us right now. All I think about is the kind words my girlfriend tells me and what little she can do to help me and the most selfless thing she did recently was she gave me her last $20 for lunch and gas just so I could get to work that week and deep down many days I sit in my car before work and cry because nobody has ever been that giving to sacrifice her own needs to help me out. I want to marry this woman she's been nothing, but good to me and I feel bad that I can't do anything for her because I have nothing to give her which hurts me as a man because all I want is to make a life for myself and for the woman I love very much. I want to get in school to be a mechanic since I like working on cars and want to fix them. I want to give my girlfriend a proper life with me as her husband and being able to support her the way a man should support his woman. There's no words that could really say how much going to school really means to me. Whatever you can give will truly be appreciated. My husband was hit by a drunk off-duty EMT. He was thrown over 2 lanes of traffic and landed on a sidewalk. His ankle was broken, he fractured his ribs, he damaged 5 disca in his spine and neck, his intestines were twisted and he suffered an acute double-hernia and had to have surgery. He was out of work a while. His settlement was 10,000 dollars and did not even cover our medical bills and bills from lost work. We have an Autistic son who is not getting help he needs due to lack of insurance. Our car was reposessed after my husband lost his job as an auto mechanic due to his injuries. NOw he is able to return to work and he has a jiob offer but we have no car to get to work. I have been given a job but again, no car to get to work. My granddaughter needs us due to her parents being very unfit. We really need to finish the 2 unfinished bedrooms off with sheetrock and some kind of flooring so we can move her in with us. We are a family that just got out of the military a few months ago and the transition has been extremely haed. We had no money after moving in a hurry after the Navy told ua 6 days in advance that my husband date to get out changed. So that took all of our savings. I work now and he goes to school but has been trying to get a job also. We have had our house broken into our daughter is a college student at Livingstone College in Salisbury. N.C. Where she is a senior and we have to send money so that she can eat and get to her internship. Well we cant now because a mechanic shop messed over us with overcharging us for her truck and then it still broke down when she got back to school. I had to take out payday loans to help pay bills and feed us so we have no money because that is where my check goes also. We have 2 car notes to pay and insurance plus rent and electricity. Not to mention feeding our other 3 daughters. My husband served his country faithfully and did so willingly without any repremands or disciplinary problems and it seems that he doesnt exist now that we need help nobody will help us. Where do I start? I have never done anything like this before but I have reached the bottom I believe, My wife and I both have full time jobs and yet the bills outnumber our income, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 3 years ago and miss alot of work during the winter months. I injured both my knees at work and Workmens Comp insurance is fighting paying for my right knee to be repaired, I have medical bills from all the surgerys on my knees. Our vehicles both have over 230,000 miles on them and when they break down we have to pay the mechanic and not pay our medical bills. It's very frustrating to say the least. )=
I am praying and hoping beyond hope that someone who has been blessed with extra wealth will find it in their heart to help a working family stay ahead of the bill collectors, Put food on the table for our children and keep our vehicles in safe repair.
