Posted by SoftSpoken on 2012-05-08 15:58:19

In dire need of money to pay for my medication. Please contact me at mmroch78@gmail.com and I will explain in detail. In short, I am a recovering addict who has been doing extremely well until I was laid off and have been having extreme issues with paying my medical expenses. If I had 300$, I would be able to get by. I live in the suburbs of Chicago Thank you and God bless during this tough time.

In Urgent Medical-Related Debt, Need Work!

Posted by SoftSpoken on 2012-05-06 17:58:03

Good Evening,

My name is Matt and I live in the west suburbs of Chicago. I am currently unemployed and finding it difficult to find even the most basic, menial job in this economy. While I have no felony convictions or anything that would bar employment, I am forced to rely on public transportation to get around at this time.

I am a recovering addict and I have been on methadone treatment for almost 5 years. I am on a low dose and I am having difficulty paying for my medication. I would like to be able to go to the clinic once a week instead of 5 times a week. This is hurting my ability to find work because I spend 3-4 hours on the bus going to the clinic.

I have a proven success rate in my sobriety and I just want to chip away at this awful bill hanging over my head. If I cannot pay for my medication I don't know what I will do. I can be reached at mmroch78@gmail.com. I can supply resumes as well to serious inquiries.

I have worked in call centers and related fields for the last 10 years, and I am warm, energetic customer service professional. I'd make an excellent ambassador for your company or small business, whichever it may be...

Both my father and I have been having very tough times, I am bi-polar but haven't had issues of any kind in quite a while. I just don't know what to do, my own parents are having money problems, and I don't have anywhere else to turn. I ask in the sincerest manner possible for any help you can provide: Pace bus cards (the monthly ones for 60$ are lifesavers), maybe 200-300$ towards my medication. I do have some things of value, mainly electronics that I can sell. Please contact me ASAP.

Thank you in this embarrassing time of need.

Kindest Regards,

Matt (5/6/12)

Hey everyone, I'm a 23 year old student in San Francisco, California. I moved here on my own to go to college with some savings. I'm taking classes at City College of San Francisco with hopes of transferring to Golden Gate University later on.
I'm originally from Virginia, and when I left home to follow my heart, I didn't realize life in the westcoast was very expensive and on top of that there's budget cuts in education so no financial aid for me?? I do work part time and I've been trying to apply for a second job with no luck for almost one year!
I pay my bills on time, but my diet is horrible. I think sodium from all those Ramen noodles may kill me one day, hopefully after I graduate at least. I'm dying to have a taste of any other food besides Ramen, so any donations I will thank you every meal I get to eat. Thanks again guys, have a good day.

Disabled person fighting to get SSI

Posted by mrdenny1978 on 2011-03-18 11:58:13

Hello, I am a type 1 diabetic since birth and I am 32 years old. I have been fighting to get SSI because I have a number of complications of being diabetic. My vision is slightly affected. I wear high prescrption glasses. I have numerous other issues that are from having diabetes for a long time and they all prevent me from keeping a job. I've lost alot of jobs because I get sick too often and have to call in sick. I am always in pain to some degree from neuropathy and from having previous injuries to my back, knees and my shoulder. I still try doing little side jobs to keep up with bills but I am rapidly falling behind on everything. In order to advance my SSI case I need to find an attorney to help me out but most of the ones I found will either not take my case or require money up front with no refund if I cannot win. Please help me so I can keep lights, water, gas and an internet connection to keep in touch with my family who lives far away from me, thanks in advance... -Matt

Help save my Daughter

Posted by mjbman531976 on 2011-01-09 21:58:58

Hi, my name is Matt and I’m a 34 year old single father. My daughter is 10 years old and two years ago she was diagnosed with type 1 juvenile diabetes. I work two jobs to keep the bills paid, but one of the jobs is midnight shift so it makes it kind of hard to keep a normal lifestyle. The reason I’m here asking for help is because my daughter has suffered several low blood sugars during the night while she sleeps. We took her to her endocrinologist and had her Lantus adjusted several times and for a while she was ok, but the doctor said that it’s hard to level out a child on blood sugars cause they tend to be more active and unpredictable. Well about two month’s ago my daughter went into insulin shock while she was sleeping, she started kicking the bed and her eye’s had rolled to the back of her head. She was staying with my brother because I had to work that night and was unable to be there. My brother said she was blue and he wasn’t sure if she was breathing so he called 911. The paramedic had to administer a glucose injection to bring her back because she couldn’t swallow food. Now I’m terrified to go to work and I can’t just quit my job. Since then she has had several smaller instances, which were caught in time. Long story short the doctor said that the best thing for her is to be fitted with an insulin pump. Now one of the jobs I have has insurance and I’m able to keep up with all of her medical needs, but just barely. The pump my daughter needs is 11,000 and my Insurance will cover 75% of that, needless to say that leaves a sizable chunk left to pay. In order to get the pump I need 2700 up front, I just don’t have it. I got rid of cable, internet, sold my Xbox 360, anything that is not a necessity and I was only able to save up about 500 bucks. I’m not proud to have to do this, I feel like a failure in my Daughters eyes, but I would feel even worse if she dies and I didn’t try. I just want to be able to keep working to give her a good life and not be stressed when I do have to work thinking I might come home to bad news. She’s all I got I love her to death and if I could take her sickness I would in a heartbeat. Please, if you can help in anyway possible I would be eternally grateful.

I have a Paypal account but won’t be able to check it till I get to work

Employee of 501 c(3) non-profit needs financial assistance

Posted by mbtravis on 2010-10-20 15:58:58

My name is Matt. A few years ago I started a non-profit organization to encourage students to pursue careers in science, math and technology. There's a tremendous shortage of engineers and scientists in the country. I thought this was a need I could help with. For awhile, I worked on it while also having a regular "day" job as a software programmer and website developer. Earlier this year, I realized the workload had become too much to have two full-time jobs, so I left my "day" job to focus on the non-profit. Of course, this isn't a good time for non-profit organizations or charities. In fact, donations and grants are almost zero at this point.

The organization is the Aerospace Research & Engineering Systems Institute, Inc., http://www.aresinstitute.org. If you visit the website and click on the "About" link, you can read more about it and there's also a link to the official IRS registration of our 501 c(3) tax-exempt status.

So, here's the situation...

Since the spring, I've put as much as I can into the company from my personal assets to keep it alive. I've sacrificed my car, luxuries like cable TV (ALL luxuries, in fact) and have even reduced my food budget to next-to-nothing. I'm actually relying on friends donations of food and household items otherwise I'd be down and out for sure.

I do NOT have any credit card debt; do NOT have student loans; have NOT lived beyond my means; and I have never bought luxury items or things not necessary to live. In short, I live within my means and sacrifice as much as I need to. I haven't been foolish by running up credit cards, buying a house or car that I can't afford or going to movies and vacations when I can't afford it. In other words, I know I'm doing the right thing and playing by the "rules" such as they are.

I'll also point out that I have been employed, full-time, since the 1990's. I still work every day, 12+ hours, and don't intend to change that.

So, no debt, full-time job, what's the problem? The problem is that I put so much into the non-profit that I am not exactly financially self-sufficient right now. Worse than that, more importantly, the non-profit (like many these days) is struggling to remain viable. There's just no money out there it seems.

Because of that, I'm turning to any resource I can find on the internet and off in order to ask the good people who are around for assistance. I'm not asking for any specific amount - $1 or $100, it's all helpful. It will help me personally as well as my company as it tries to make it through the recession as well.

If anyone out there can help, please use the PayPal Donate button on here. I can't offer anything in return except eternal gratitude, although I wish I could do more.

Thanks so much.

Donate to help me while I help others - Cloudsourced Caring

Cloudsourced Caring

Hello, my name is Matt, and I am in a financial bind that I do not wish to continue to be in. Rather than just post requests asking for personal help, I have created Cloudsourced Caring to use the power of the web to help others, while others help me.

Seventy Five cents of every dollar given to Cloudsourced Caring will be given at the end of each month to a charity or needy family suggested in emails from donors. The remaining 25 cents will go to me and my family to help address our financial situation. Once my financial situation is addressed 100% of the donations will be given to charities and needy families.

I have chosen the name Cloudsourced Caring, because cloudsourcing is a way of getting information from a large group of people on the web. I believe that this same group, by using the power of the web, can turn a little help from a lot of people, into a lot of help for people desperately in need.

Now that I have explained my plans for Cloudsourced Caring, I will tell you about the necessity that is the mother of this invention. As I mentioned before my name is Matt. I am 36 years old and married to a beautiful woman and have two wonderful sons.

These facts are the happy side of my life. The unhappy side of my life comes from the burdensome debt load I have become buried under. I have approximately $50,000 in personal debt to family members, approximately the same amount to creditors other than my mortgage, and close to $5,000 in past due medical bills. Due to this, I am behind on most of my bills including my mortgage and utilities. Circumstances beyond my control as well as quite a few unwise decisions over the last 15 years have put me in this position.

In addition to all this my family is sacrificing to make ourselves better by working to get my currently unemployed wife a long overdue college degree.

As I have a roof over my head and am not as destitute as others out there, I could not ethically go out and just beg for assistance, and have chosen to assist others in the process of solving my problems.

So with all that I have said considered, I thank you in advance for your donation to Cloudsourced Caring. And remember if you send us an email as well as a donation, you will see how much of your money has helped my family each month, and how much has been donated to a charity that helps others in need.

I believe that when the world has been kind enough to help you, you must do everything you can to help it. So in addition to asking for your assistance, I am going to put a challenge to the web as a whole. Send in your $1, $5, $10, $50, and so on donations as quickly as possible. I think we can see $500,000 in donations by the end of 2010, which would erase my family’s previously mentioned problems as well provide $375,000 to help others in need. And in addition, I think we can see $1 million in donations by next August. Picture how much that can help the needy families out there. If celebrities can have of a million followers on twitter, we can have a million one dollar donations in a year.

Thanks for listening,

Matt

I am a musician and a songwriter. I am currently trying to promote my music online and need some startup. My goal is to raise $400-$500 so I can advertise as well as distribute my songs. I wouldn't beg if I didn't believe I could do it with this kind of budget. It's exactly what I need to start working. If you are a music appreciater, you can count on this being a wise donation that will go to good use.

Thankyou,
