Desperately seeking help, I am a disabled older gentleman (50's) on a limited income. Who through much searching has found the Love of my life. It was 1994 & I met & fell in love with my soul-mate. Unfortunately, I was a young dumb 22yr old who wouldn't keep a job. She dumped me. Fast forward 17yrs & thanks to facebook we are back together. All my dreams have come true. But things are not as great for her. She lost her house of 11yrs during a load modification & had to file bankrupcy. Yesterday morning I gave birth naturally to a beautiful 9lb10oz baby girl, and an hour after I was notified my dog, Tyson, had gotten out (my room mate let him out because he doesn't like my dog).
The pound called and said it would be $150 and $20 a day for every day he is there. So now $170..
we have $80 so far from a few friends, but not enough yet. And we would make the room mate pay, but there's no proof other than what history says.

I'm a Struggling Author, my book was released in 2010 with no real hope for getting it to the market, deriving from my real life story of how I had to struggle from the pain and the shame of my father's way of showing me that he loved me, my life went in turmoil, with no purpose in living, I found myself running from place to place, after my husband no longer wanted me when he found out that my twisted mined daddy had taken my Innocent. Domestic violence, Rape and Incest is no joke, At a very young age of 13, I experienced all three crimes in ways no human should have to face. My father carried a 45 automatic hand gun threatening to kill me if I tell, when I beg him not to touch me, he would stand off a few feet from me and hit me in the head with Apples and Oranges. The migraines became so severe until I could not do anything but go to bed and keep my head tied tight with a scarf until the pain would ease. As I grew older, I became more reserved not wanting to be around too many people, I would sing in night clubs at night and play for churches on Sundays just to keep a roof over my head. I did not have any real friends, and some of them told me they would not have chosen me for a friend. When I would get a Job, most of the time I would get fired or quit because I could not stand any kind of authority, my father always interfered in anything that I made an attempt to do, he would come to the school and embarrass me in front of my class mate, telling me to get my ass in the car and let's go. I"m truly a survivor, sharing my story and listening to others sharing their story made me realize that there are many people out their hurting from the same things or maybe a difference kind of hurt. My Center will be a resource center where you can get healing from the inside and peace of mind knowing that you are somebody, we will mentor, counsel, do training with professional, Practitioners, self help tapes,good source of water for detox, we are a nonprofit org. with lots of love to give and a friendly environment. I would like to build my center with 1 1/2 ache of land included for 1/2 Million. Anyone out there that can help me to make this happen will be blessed. Buildings are just to high to rent, and grants along will not cover all of the cost to run this type of business. If I can build this center, I can use grant money, for fundraiser , marketing, Vendors, bake sales, I live now on Social Security Supplement. If you will open up your heart I will be most grateful. I am a junior in college living away from home. My mother is my only family and she recently got taken out of work and deemed disabled, however she is struggling to get payments so she cannot help me. My room mate moved out and I'm struggling to pay the bills. My car got repossesed and the payment is due by the end of tomorrow before they auction it. My rent is due in two days. For my car, my rent, and my electric bill I owe around $1600. Please, I need help!

I am currently a sophomore in college. My fiance and I live together in a two bedroom apartment. We have gone through three roommates in the past month. The first: hid our bills from us, stole from us, and to top it all off, lied to us about paying rent and disappeared leaving us to pay it on our own. After we scraped and scrounged for every penny, we got the rent money. The next room mate was my fiances good friend from Boston. He wanted to start fresh so we offered him a home on the account of paying for half the rent. We got him a job, and all he did was complain about working, called out, and couldn't make he whole rent. Essentially, it got so bad that we kicked him out. A man my fiance and I have both worked with got kicked out of his home around the same time, so we allowed him to move in. He cleaned, paid us, and was a fabulous room mate. A we days ago, he told us his daughter was diagnosed with diabetes so he was going to move back in with his mother to be closer to her. He took his things with him that night, but swore he would be coming back for my fiances birthday (which is today) and to pay rent (which is due Monday). He called my fiance the day after and said he was in some sort of trouble. We didn't get any details, but we are afraid he won't be able to pay us. Last week after getting m car repaired from a wreck, we now owe $2000 on that, multiple bills and rent adding up to be due next week. On top if this, I just found out I was pregnant yesterday. Neither of us have a good relationship with our families, and have no where else to go if we were to lose our home. I'm not asking for you to empty your wallets, but any help is much appreciated. Please help us keep our home.

This is as bad as it gets for me, I hate begging and I dont want to be a burden on society but i'm at my breaking point. 4 years ago out of high school I started working at Wal-mart, I started as a grocery stocker and made my way up to be a team lead as a truck unloader and supervisor. Things were great until last october when I witnessed a fellow employee being sexually harassed by someone underneath me. We filled a sexual harassment report with the managers but they blew us off. Since they refused to do anything to the kid he kept it up and then started underminding me as a supervisor because he knew he was getting away with it. I was told I needed to just "do the job" by another manager and the girl eventually quit after the kid assaulted her and tried to force himself on her in the parking lot. I was demoted and given the really bad jobs because of my "failure to supervise", then myself was picked on by the managers who used me as the scape goat. We tried talking to a lawyer but the case wasnt very good and would cost us too much. After months of being tormented and letting the kid crawl under my skin for the last time, I went to the office and told them I cant work for a company that endorses sexual harassment and sexual predators to work for them. I quit and regretfully didnt stay the two final weeks of the notice.

Since then I have been black listed by them when it comes to applying for other jobs. My room mate and only friend who lives around here, also worked with me and quit at the same time as me for the same reason. We both ended up having to terminate our lease in april after selling everything we owned other than our clothes, cars, my grill and a few necessities. I have no family to move back to, my parents are non-existant. I have lived out of my car and at a rest stop nearby for a good 4 months. I'm down to my last $5 due to last night my brake cables and brake fluid lines rotted out in my car from the terrible salting from the harsh winters. I finally have a job starting but I cant afford to get my car repaired now and that is going to compromise everything. I'm so worried about what I will do, the job pays bi-weekly and my first pay check wont be for 3 weeks after starting. Getting my car fixed means everything to me right now. Without it I am stranded. I bought the parts already but the service and labor fees are what is killing me the most. It will run about $200-300's.

Again I hate to beg, I feel so horrible even considering it, it feels so beneath me. I've always been the kind of person to donate and stick up for the people who are hard up, but now that I am in this position I dont know who to turn to. I'd be eternally grateful and will try to find some way to make it up if I can. God bless you all and may you never be put in this horrible situation. I would never wish it upon anyone :(

I am a single female living in my own home, I bought my home last year. While waiting to move into my home I was in a car accident, which I had to pay for out of my pocket, this was what started putting me into debit. I then had a home inspector come in and I had to get my roof fixed, it was leaking. I have tried to get loans through banks but since I put my car repairs and my roof repairs onto my credit card, I have had trouble keeping up, I could not pay off my credit card. My bills are spiraling out of control and I am having trouble getting a handle on it. I had a room mate move in but it is still not helping.
My car insurance has doubled since my accident. I would really appreciate any help I can get, I am now behind on my mortgage and bills. My family will not help me out and I have no where else to turn.

I had my tubes tied about 8 years ago because I was in an abusive relationship and my exmate threatened to really hurt me if I ever had any more children. I have since removed myself from that environment and I have found a wonderful mate who doesn't have any children who would like to have just one. I am having fun learning Russian and teaching her English! I want to travel in late April or early May of this year (2011).
