I'm a 45 year old male with 5 children. In 2005 I got retrenched from the platinum mine were I worked and with the state that sa's economy is in I've struggled to get a job ever since and my savings are running out. My twins is 18 and in matric this year and both need new glasses and for that they also need new eye test done at specsavers the qoatation was R2000 ($250) for both. My youngest daughter's primary school is R1500 in arears ($200) and my 5year old needs to start play school and the baby needs formula and daipers,then there is food,rent and water and electricity bills and winters coming! I try do odd jobs to make ends meet but now my bakkie (pick up truck) broke down and I do steel works and used it to move my equipment. Any donations or amount money will do and wil be appriciated very much. There is a thousand illegal ways in SA to make money but Im not a theive. I was a policeman in my 20's and know how crime affect the lives of others.I'm alone with only my oldest daugter trying to help in between her job and 2 baby boys. Please I really dont know what to do anymore and what to pay and what not to pay this month.

I live on the streets of Palmdale california, Im 42, male and never had a date or a girlfriend because I am too unattractive. I have no friends and sit alone every birthday and every Christmas. I have no family and nobody to help me. My life sucks horribly because of the unfair hand I was dealt. plz help if u can.

Hi. My Name is Robert. I am a 28 year old male who has recently moved to a new state in search of a better life. I have not had the best of luck with jobs. The job lined up for me fell through, and I began working temp jobs to make ends meet. I was staying with family and was out of work from Thanksgiving to New Years. I found a new job in mid January and then was asked to move out of my families house on February 1st. I am doing all that I can (working 70 hours a week) but unfortunately it isn't enough. I am late on rent and need $825 to cover March and April. I am also past due on car payments and approaching 60 days late. I am needing $550 for that. I have tried applying for loans and continue to be denied. I am also stuck in the payday loan cycle and am paying interest every two weeks to refinance. With just $3,000.00 total I will be able to get caught up and take the training courses I need for my job to increase my salary and be able to continue to pay bills in a timely manner.

I know there are others here who need help more than I, I just am at my wits end with phone calls and letters demanding payment. I have considered sleeping in my car just to make the payment. Recently, I quit my job and started up my own eBay business. It had been a dream all my life, to own my own business. I started just a few months ago, and everything was going flawless. I have a great supplier, great products, and great customer service, etc. While we were new on eBay, they had set limits on how much we could sell and Paypal put 21-day holds on all our funds, till the customers received their items. It was just recently, that we turned into eBay Powersellers and received the status of "Top Rated Sellers".

Everything was going just perfect, up until recently. My mother-in-law needs a LOT of teeth work done. So, I decided I would list my cherished Jimi Hendrix poster online, to raise funds for her teeth work, because my business was new and not to the point of affording $5000 teeth work. I put it up for a 10-day auction and everything was going just fine. About halfway thru my auction, it was generating bids and lots of interest!

Then, the bottom fell out..... A gentleman from California was interested in our poster, and stated that he would like to purchase it. He said if we took the listing down, he would send us $3500. We agreed and took it down. He paid us within 10 minutes! We thought we had hit the jackpot. Not only was my business taking off, now I could afford my mother-in-laws teeth work! The very next day, I put his poster in the mail and we went to pay the down payment at the dentist and a few other bills off. Everything was looking good. Later that night, I received an email from Paypal, that the buyer had put a claim in! He stated that it was not as described, even though he had not even received it yet! It was still in route, thru the postal service. He had buyers remorse and Paypal froze my funds up.

No big deal, I am an eBay Powerseller, I should be able to make the funds really fast, right? No. When a customer buys something from us, we use their money they just paid us, to purchase their part and have it shipped to them. If my Paypal account is frozen and in the red for $3000, I am not able to sell anything or ship anything off!

Now, Paypal has paid the customer back and I am just sitting here trying to figure out what to do next. My dream I had started and finally got off the ground, is now ruined. I worked 20 hour days to get this off the ground, and now feel like a failure. I cannot do anything until the money is paid back. I have no way of doing anything.

I quit my job to do this and we are now struggling. It actually makes me sick, knowing I tried so hard to get to the Powerseller level, to have it all ruined because a customer wanted his money back on an item I had a "No Refund Policy" on. Paypal ruled in his favor without even talking to me.

My Paypal balance is a -$2741.79. I really need help getting it back to ZERO. Please consider a donation for a guy that is really trying to do something with his life. I am a 40 year old male and have been a failure all my life and now I have something that is working, and just when my family started noticing, my hopes were all dashed again. Failure surrounds me.

My name is Micheal. I am a 23-year-old male living in the midwest. I currently have a job at a failing restaurant and am struggling to look for a job in a failing job market.

My old roommate left me to join the Navy and I have been in dire financial straits ever since (I have gone through dozens of potential roommates and NONE of them were responsible enough to pay their rent or they failed to move in). My rent is VERY high (a little over $700). I can only take serving jobs, because they are the only type of job which provides an average amount of money per hour for me to barely scrape by (I have to make at LEAST $15-$20 an hour to have a place to live and there are no non-specialized jobs that will pay that much per hour to someone with no advanced education).

To the point though, this post isn't really for me; it is for my parents. My parents are BOTH on disability and barely make enough COMBINED to pay for the house that they live in. I constantly have to assist them with living expenses among other things (food and medicine usually). Yes they do get quite a bit of government assistance, but with NO other source of income, things are impossible for them without my help (for example, I had to take on the full car payment for an Acura that my father owned that costs me nearly $400 a month NOT including the insurance).

Now, with myself in financial difficulties, they too are faced with the threat of losing much-needed medicine, vehicle transportation, and possibly their home.

I am making this post in hopes that there is someone who can help keep the worst from happening in my life and for my parents. I don't want to fail them as a son, so I have made this post in a last-ditch effort to plead for assistance. Anything that you can contribute would help me with bills for both myself and my parents. It enlarged it and over time I developed heart failure in 2004. Then I became diabetic in 2005. The staph also destroyed bone in my chest. I had to have my sternum removed. I also developed irregular heart beats leaving me dizzy most of the time. This left me disabled on Social Security and medicare (which I appreciate but dont like being on "the system .. its wrong). Before this I always work 60 to 100 hours a week. Which also contributed my poor health. In 2008 I had my second heart attack (a minor one). It was actually lucky for me. Doctors installed a defibrillator with pacing technology. My dizzy spells were finally under control. Since then I have been working hard to build strength so I can go back to work and have a normal productive life. My car ..is no longer road worthy. Needs about $2300 in repairs. Now I have trouble making appointments to my Cardiologist, primary care Physician and physical therapy. This year i have missed 6 doctors appointments and had to stop all therapy. I also have trouble picking up medication on time so i go with out them sometimes up to a week. I get $1500/mo from Social Security. $96 of that goes toward medicare insurance premium. My rent is $500/mo. My medications are $400/mo and that is with prescription help. With out that help my meds are $1476. My utilities run $400/on average. The rest I spend on food, car insurance and medical bills ($3000 which i pay $25 to $100/mo when i can). I am asking for any help. If I don't get help my health will continue to decline. I will die within a year or two. I just starting gaining muscles back in my legs and arms I still have a long way to go. I need to get cardiac therapy to make my heart stronger. I will die within a year or two. I just starting gaining muscles back in my legs and arms I still have a long way to go. I need to get cardiac therapy to make my heart stronger. It isn't something I can do at home because I need to be monitored the whole time. Please help. Time is important I have already lost 5 months of therapy and i am getting weaker. I beg you. Please.

I am a 48yo male. I have about $3000 total in medical bills. I have had a heart condition since i was 21. About 15 years ago I went for heart surgery and got a staph infection in my chest. I was in the hospital for months fighting this and was told I would not live. I am lucky to be alive 15 years later. However the staph damaged my heart. It enlarged it and over time I developed heart failure in 2004. Then I became diabetic in 2005. The staph also destroyed bone in my chest. I had to have my sternum removed. I also developed irregular heart beats leaving me dizzy most of the time. This left me disabled on Social Security and medicare (which I appreciate but dont like being on "the system .. its wrong). Before this I always work 60 to 100 hours a week. Which also contributed my poor health. In 2008 I had my second heart attack (a minor one). It was actually lucky for me. Doctors installed a defibrillator with pacing technology. My dizzy spells were finally under control. Since then I have been working hard to build strength so I can go back to work and have a normal productive life. My car ..is no longer road worthy. Needs about $2300 in repairs. Now I have trouble making appointments to my Cardiologist, primary care Physician and physical therapy. This year i have missed 6 doctors appointments and had to stop all therapy. I also have trouble picking up medication on time so i go with out them sometimes up to a week. I get $1500/mo from Social Security. $96 of that goes toward medicare insurance premium. My rent is $500/mo. My medications are $400/mo and that is with prescription help. With out that help my meds are $1476. My utilities run $400/on average. The rest I spend on food, car insurance and medical bills ($3000 which i pay $25 to $100/mo when i can). I am asking for any help. If I don't get help my health will continue to decline. I have no bed, no chairs, no table, or anything else for that matter, furniture wise and most unfortunately no money.

I am currently sleeping on a blow-up mattress that deflates while I sleep so I am laying on the floor when I wake up.
