a last ditch attempt...
Posted by someonelikeyou87 on 2012-04-24 07:58:07
I recently left an abusive partner after several years, the relief is undescribable. Unfortunately during the relationship i was naive enough to take on the majority of his debt. I have managed to secure myself a new place to stay however im now drowning in bills from my old accomodation i shared with him. Im stuck between paying for my new place (and thus securing my freedom and new life) and clearing what i owe on the old place and being free of the past.
I cannot afford to do both, and im in real trouble if i do not pay off bills from the old place.
So im begging you good people for help, i hope that someone out there can help me.
Many thanks for your time reading this post
Please Help...

I have recently started making bio fuel from used cooking oil to help reduce my fuel cost. I don't know what else to do, the bills just keep piling up!
All I can do now is ask...beg...for help, I don't even know if this will work.
I don't expect someone to make all my debt disappear, that be nice tho :). But I kindly ask if some people would not mind donating even as little as $1 anything extra would help.
And if you've read this far, thank you for reading my post, and taking time to try and help others. I hope and pray that some day someone can help you too.
Special Thanks,
A Loving Dad.
Update 28-02-2012 No donations yet :( Scammers galore. Will try and take extra on my mortage today, good luck all, holding thumbs...
Update 29-02-2012 nope, nothing yet...damn scammers, how they got my e-mail, dunno, but wanting to pay a donation claiming they are from legitimate companies, but have a yahoo email? Apparently the CEO, asking for me to pay a portion back to them...and and and...most ppl come here because they are desperate, and then among the debt collectors and lawyers you still have to deal with assholes like that too!
Help to make it home from England to N. Ireland
Posted by infotoxin on 2012-03-18 04:58:29
Due to a couple of travel and financial planning slip ups I've found myself with £20 left to survive until Thursday and stuck without transport in Derby on Wednesday (I need to make it on to York and then Leeds-Bradford airport in order to make it back home to Belfast). Even then I've no money to pay for my hostel bed in York on Wednesday night.
So I'm hoping some of you will be kind enough to give me what ever you can in order to help ensure that I can get to where I need to be in order to get home, and perhaps eat whilst I'm here. otherwise I'm going to be stuck in England with nowhere to go for the foreseeable future.

My name is Uweye Jenning Onoriode, a Pastor, from Nigeria; I greet you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Peace from God the father and the Lord Jesus Christ. You don't know me neither do I, but don't be chased out, I sent out this message to many over the internet seeking financial assistance for My Ministry.
This may surprise you, as it is kind of strange to see this happen over the internet, but don't be scared, I am a Christian, and I come to you in peace. But before I continue, I want to note a sounding fact here which is that, you may have been a victim of internet scam, and it may have caused you heart breaks; this may have discouraged you from given attention to any internet request or offer. But I tell you, what I bring to you is not just an offer neither is it a request, but it is an opportunity to succeed. Yes! It is!
The reason I ask for financial support on the internet, and what it is been used for is briefly outlined below as you read on. I am the leader of a church congregation, and we are just starting out as a church, as a new ministry, as a vision, we need finances to run some certain church projects. Right now, we are in need of about $800 which is about N120, 000 in the Nigerian currency (Naira). Now, we cannot afford this money all by ourselves. And as a start, we are all young people, majority of us are students because we are starting out in a schooling environment, I mean that we are starting as a ministry on campus, university campus here in Nigeria, and you know that students hardly get good money for feed, not to talk about money to give towards the church projects which is very strenuous for them now at this level.
Now, we need musical instruments and equipments, and also, we need some amount of money to finance some other ministry projects, and all these are costing us money. The estimate of what all these are costing us is $800.

The Bible encourages us to give towards his work, in the Book of Ecclesiastes 11:1;
'Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days.â
This is an admonishment from God the master through the wisdom of solomon to us who are his children that we should sow our seed to the anointing as the waters used there refers to the anointing. The word of God tells us in the book of Psalm 126:5-6,
'May those who sow in tears reap with shouts of joy! He that goes forth weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.'
You see that? Please, don't think in your heart that I am persuading you with the word of God for personal financial gains. Oh no! God is my witness in spirit to genuineness of intentions by this message. But if the Lord lays it in your heart to give to us a token, whatever you want to give to us, whatever you have to give to us, then we will gladly accept it in the name of Jesus! Like I will always say, given to God is personal, so it is not a force, neither of necessity nor of compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver; as He admonishes in the Book of 2Corunthians 9:7-8,
'Each one must do as he has made up his mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that you may always have enough of everything and may provide in abundance for every good work.'
You see this exhortation from the Lord? God always want you give towards every good work. And the good work He is talking about here is the works that advances and promotes his kingdom.
May God richly bless you in this period of celebration as you give to us in the establishment of our ministry in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ!
I trust the Holy-Spirit of God to lay it in your heart to send us a seed. If you are touched, and the Holy-Ghost has laid it in your heart to give to us, and you are willing to do so, then send it to us through the 'Western Union Money Transfer' only.
Note that for now, we choose to use the 'Western Union Money Transfer' only because we yet don't have any other easy process of receiving online funds. So the 'Western Union Money Transfer' is preferable to us and easily accessible. Thanks!

unbreak my heart....
Posted by brokenhearted on 2012-01-20 17:58:04
I'm raising funds for ICD replacement surgery, to go see a HOCM specialist (Dr. Craig Asher) at Cleveland Clinic in S. Florida and to have advanced testing through Vanderbilt Autonomic Center in Tennessee.
I don't want to admit I need help; I've always been a strong, independent person who took care of everything and everyone. In August 2009, my whole world changed. After my procedure, I applied for disability and was turned down twice and had to hire an attorney. I went from being "super" mom, wife & friend and care taker of an Autistic son to being the one who had to be taken care of.
So how did I get to the point I have to ask others for help? Shortly before Father's Day 2009, I fell and broke my foot. When it didn't heal, I went to my primary with a broken foot and came out with a broken heart. After the shock wore off from the doctor telling me that I was going to die if I didn't have valve surgery; I started asking questions.
I didn't quite believe him and thought he was over reacting when he told me I was going to die because I walked and ran 3-5 times weekly and even did strenuous yard work. I felt fine and have 4 children aged 9-26 and kept up with them and stayed very active in things they did; but I was a ticking time bomb just waiting for the right time for my heart to stop.
He sent me to several specialists who said I had nothing really wrong, just some mild valve problems associated with aging; which was a huge relief. Everything seemed normal except my EKG's; they showed I had a huge amount of PVC's (premature ventricular contractions) roughly 50,000 âextraâ heartbeats daily.
My heart didn't really beat fully; it only quivered like a bowl of jello day in day out. The problem with it beating like this is, the heart becomes very ineffective at pumping and your cardiac output drops and heart muscle damage can occur.
The cardiologist and electrophysiologist I saw did extensive testing and recommended more testing in the hospital. I went in for a sleep study, Tilt table test and EP Study with Ablation. The sleep study revealed I had moderately severe sleep apnea and my oxygen goes from 99% down to 73% at night making it very dangerous for me when I sleep.
The tilt table test was the first inkling that something dangerous was going on inside. I fainted and had no palpable pulse; which is a very rare thing to happen. I was diagnosed with Dysautonomia - Neurocardiogenic Syncope and Orthostatic Intolerance.
I then had an ablation to burn the extra pathways in my heart and get rid of the pvc's I was living with daily. I was told this would be a relatively easy process and given a 95% success rate to get rid of the extra beats completely but it never crossed my mind that anything would happen.
What preliminary tests failed to show, is the pattern and origin of my arrhythmias were in a very dangerous spot to ablate - the RV Apex â in the bottom thin underside of the heart.
During the EP Study, I went into cardiac arrest and my heart stopped completely with no rhythm they could shock (Asystole), some how it started again for a few minutes but then stopped again. They were able to shock me back to normal sinus rhythm and luckily, the third time it stopped; it restarted on it's own so I didn't have to be shocked again.
I was diagnosed with Polymorphic Ventricular Tachycardia; a very dangerous, life threatening arrhythmia. I stayed in the hospital for 4 days trying to find a cause and to be prepped for an ICD (implantable cardiac defibrillator).
It took a cardiac catherization to finally find the problem and to show I had HOCM (obstructive Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy) and internal high pressures in my valves.
My regular EP had to go out of town after the first procedure, so his partner had to do the implant; he wasn't as skilled as my regular dr and botched the lead implants.
When they checked the leads the next day before releasing me, they found a problem with the lead placement but the dr said it was "ok" and sent me home. Since then, I've had nothing but problems with the unit and been told by several other EP's I need to have the leads replaced and the ICD could be causing part of my problems.
Doctors think my other problems are related to HOCM (obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy) and Autonomic nervous system failure and when I faint, my heart stops briefly causing damage each time this happens.
After the procedure, my body started failing from the damage it sustained the 4 times my heart stopped. My original cardiologist told me I would be in a wheel chair and totally dependent on others for everything by the time I'm 50; which is daunting because in March I'll be 45 and I can't deny the facts - my body is failing.
I was put on 10,000g sodium daily, water/fluid loading, Midodrine (insurance won't cover it $312 - 30 day supply), Propanolol, Pantoprazole, pain meds, suppression hose and binders as well as having to stay supine the majority of the day - which caused my heart failure to worsen and my EF (ejection fraction) to go down.
Nothing the doctor's have tried has helped, I still faint and my heart stops on a daily basis and I never know from one day to the next if something is going to trigger fluid build up and I have an acute attack.
In June 2011 I fainted falling into the side of my tiled tub, lacerating the side of my head in the process, severely sprained my neck and suffered a concussion. After that episode, I became a bit more cautious with every move I make because the dr found declining neurological functioning and mild brain damage; he said any more falls could lead to permanent major brain damage.
With so many previous medical bills and co-pays, I can't afford the 20% co-insurance to have my ICD replaced and Mayo Clinic wants a $5,000 deposit up front even with insurance. My ICD alone is $125,000, leads another $30,000 and then there's the doctor and hospital fees; which I won't know the cost until the procedure is done.
Each heart rhythm specialist and cardiologist I see tell me there is nothing more they can do after going over my history and treatments; I have a long hard fight to go and I have to just be thankful each day I'm alive. Some days I'm really glad I made it through, other days when the problems and pain take over; I wish the dr's had let me die.
I developed PTSD after the procedure, panic disorder and extreme agoraphobia. I went into such a deep depression over my health issues, I was afraid I would never see the lighter side of things again. I finally went to see a psychologist who prescribed Lamictal and diagnosed me with Bi-Polar disorder which has helped greatly but I still struggle on a daily basis.
One day we were just the ânormalâ every day family and the toughest thing we had to deal with is a child with Autism. Then; our whole lives changed in an instant we were dealing with mounting medical bills, expensive prescriptions, tests, appointments, loss of income and dealing with the possibility of death on a daily basis.
You just never know what the day may bring, so keep those you love close to you and never take one second for granted.
From the bottom of my heart thank you - even if it's support to say hey; I'm here if you need to talk or I know how you're feeling.

Early onset Alzheimer's

My dad would kill me if he knew I was doing this and I hate to beg, but I am not sure what else to do. We need help. I can't stand to see my dad so stressed out. He is a champ and, outwardly, he shoulders life's burdens with such grace. I don't want monetary stresses to rob me of the only thing I have left of my little family and I want my dad to be able to retire one day.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. Truly, anything helps.
Be well.

I need help with bill and rent
Posted by needhelp_in_LA on 2011-12-15 18:58:25
Whether I will get donate or not I have decide to try to beg on generosity of people. My story will be similar to many people in now days. It will be bit long but please bear with me.
I have lost my job Feb, 2009. I have seen it coming because the store I was working was losing customers because many of our customers lost their job during the start of recession in 2009. I have looked jobs everywhere I can think of, online, offline, through people whom I know and some I barely know. All I heard was most businesses are having difficulty so it will be hard to get a job any time soon but keep trying. While I was receiving unemployment we, I and my daughter (17), were able to pay rent and bill(only phone/internet, electricity) with help of friends and family but I have exhausted my benefit last year. It was hard but I was able to get odd jobs, temp jobs and my meager saving to pay rent and bills but now my savings are gone and I still don't have job.
Fortunately my brother decide to move with us to help with rent but it didn't work out because he and his wife are having problems. She thought that they need to think of their need first and I do understand her position and I want to get my own place or even rent a room for myself and my daughter. During last 4 month they were staying at my place, rent was taken care of with them paying majority of rent and I paid whatever I could(I get $300a month for child support)but they raised electricity up so high now it is 517.00 I thought they will pay but they decide to move after X-mas which left to me pay all that and rent for next month. There is no way I be able to pay even potion of bill, let alone rent for next month.
I know money is tight for everyone but if any generous soul sees this, I hope they will help me to move out of this place to single or rent a room for my daughter and me. I have checked out price for room or single and it is around 400-600 and deposit for 200-300. I believe I can get extension to postpone the electric bills to the end of this month, Hopely I would move out here and make arrangement to pay that bill later.
Thank you for reading this long post. If you could help me it will be x-mas gifts for us, since we are not having x-mas.
Please, help us survive until the IRS Refund arrives?

I am a single mom of 2 sons; 1 grown & doing wonderfully in the world & the other just entering his teen years. I've raised both boys on my own, survived despite chronic poverty & worked very hard for the past 25 years to do so. I am an unusually-talented & tenaceous woman, having changed careers several times in order to assure that my boys were always properly taken care of. Since 1995, I've worked in positions where I was unsupervised & done well ethically in that type of independent environment. As a subcontracted cab driver for the past 5 years, I've worked 60+ hours a week consistently, without vacation or any other benefits. I've missed only 8 workdays in all that time: 3 days for illness & 5 days straight this past August to care for my mother while she died. I'll be happy to provide direct contact with the cab company owner, should you wish to verify this information.
Several things have changed for me in the past few weeks. I came across an opportunity to start my own business. I crave the day when my earnings are no longer confined to poverty levels & the majority of my waking hours dictated by the terms of a subcontracted position. At 49, I'm still young enough to start fresh again, during these last few years before my youngest son flies the coup. I'm already well-practiced at working on my own. It's finally time for me to do that & reap the rewards as well.
In the meantime, my demanding schedule caused me to be lax in filing tax papers for 2008 & 2009. So, the last week of October, I filed the 2008 returns through a local tax preparer. I've just completed the 2009 books & submitted those to the tax preparer 2 days ago. The importance of the tax filings is that I have a refund of $2000 coming to me from 2008. The tax preparer told me it would take 2 to 4 weeks to receive those funds. So I began preparations to become this region's very first fully-trained SmartPhone & Tablet Repair Tech. Being a frugal woman, I formulated a plan to use the tax refund to pay $395 for the 10 days training & startup business tools. My son & I can easily live off of the remaining money while I launch my business. And with the additional refund from 2009 pending in another 6 to 8 weeks, I will be well-set to get my business rolling.
With the business plan & pending refund in mind; & following a serious disagreement on matters of proper customer service; I gave the cab company 30 days written notice & finished my last day on November 6th. I left on good terms with an option to return. But the owner has since filled my position, so even if I returned immediately, the hours would be sparse. Plus, I could no longer be happy there, having to repeatedly apologize to my customers because the company owner habitually re-contracts drivers of poor character. Swearing at, name-calling & being generally rude to customers & co-workers is unacceptable behavior, in my code of ethics.
However, my tax refund has yet to materialize. I called the IRS just today & finally got some information on my refund status. I already phoned them just 2 weeks ago to correct a major error by the tax preparer. The kind young woman I spoke with today informed me of yet another major error by the tax preparer; & because of that error, it will now be another month before they send a refund to me!
So here I am, trying to keep the faith & maintain my patience, but stressing over unpaid bills. The first of the month has passed. I live in HUD subsidized housing, & my rent is only $110, but it was due by the 5th. I have never been late with my rent, but this month I had to practically beg for the apartment managers to be patient in getting the rent paid. There are also utility bills of nearly $200 due, & my prepaid phone was shut off for several days last week until a good friend paid that bill for me. I had faith in my tax preparer & was counting on having my refund by now to pay those bills. Needless to say, I am very unhappy with his service at this point.
I spent 2 weeks trying to get a 'payday' or personal loan. But because I was a subcontractor & now I'm unemployed, no one is willing to make such a loan. I even dedicated a full day last week to 14 fruitless hours straight online, just trying to click enough surveys to pay the $50 phone bill. I receive no child support or welfare benefits. Sadly for my son, Santa will not be arriving until well after Christmas. At this point, my income is 0.
So what I am asking for is just enough money to get us by until the tax refund arrives. I can reasonably make $750 stretch through to mid-January.
I am proud. It is hard for me to ask for this. But it is even harder to grovel to my landlords & the utility companies. And it was never my intent to risk us losing our home. I am deeply concerned that this may happen. The timing is simply bad for us not to have our refund yet. I wish my tax preparer had done a better job for me.
I have been blessed with great health & an optimistic outlook, despite all my life's trials. Others are not nearly so lucky & I am truly grateful for my blessings. I am also grateful to you for your consideration in this matter. Giving to others to help them improve their lives is indeed a noble endeavor. Bless you
PLEASE HELP ME HEAL MY MOM

There I was sitting there in the waiting room, feeling very alone, while the two expert surgeons told me what they had done, and knowing it was a band-aid, hoping to have extended her life. I rejected that then, and I reject it now. I believe God for a cure, and for them to find no traces of cancer in her body, and I receive that which Iâve asked for. She is scheduled to have another round of chemo to hopefully kill what is left. The medical expenses have become unbearable.
I have done tons of research, so much so that I had to start taking sleeping pills to sleep at night. I know that there are ways to help my mom beat this disease, and I think I have found someone who can help. Unfortunately, her treatment protocol is $5900/week, for a minimum of four weeks. My mom is on disability, and I am currently collecting unemployment, as it was too difficult to travel with mom, and hold down a regular job. I have written letters to churches, charities, etc. I have to do whatever I can for my mom, she is my best friend, my brother, my sister, and the only father Iâve ever known.
Absolutely anything would help. Thank you so much, I appreciate your time.

My Partner and I
Posted by jamesd1967 on 2011-11-11 12:58:57
I will now go on. My partner has full-blown AIDS. I have watched his health decline severely over the years. It is quite heartbreaking. His last CD-4 count was 146, but luckily still with an undetectable viral load. My partner was a maintenance technician for apartment complexes for years and I have consistently been in the hospitality industry.
At this time, we are now trying to make it on my 40-hour per week front desk job which pays a whopping $8.00 per hour.
I ask for anyone's help. Please visit our blog, which I do the majority of the posting there. Again, any assistance will be appreciative.

Divorced Iraqi Freedom Veteran and Drowning in Debt

My current amount of credit card debt that I have assumed is $18,000. I do not want to file bankruptcy as I always want to honor my debts. I also don't like asking for charity. However I am a charitable person and have always given when someone is in need. I am turning to the good nature of my fellow Americans and asking for help. Please, anything you can offer will be greatly appreciated. When I can pay it forward I certainly will.
Can You Spare A Penny?

I plan on a pre-med course of study, and I ultimately want to become a neurosurgeon. I decided on this path for my life after a 6 year old buddy of mine died from a terminal brain tumor. I was outraged that modern medicine had nothing to offer her, and I decided to dedicate my life to changing the fate of other kids in her situation.
I received a $634 grant from UNC for financial aid, and that's it.
I estimate that I have to come up with about $9000 each semester in order to pay for books, travel, food, tuition, and room/board.
I have a part-time, minimum wage job at a local restaurant, but a majority of that money goes towards gas and insurance for my car.
So here's my plan: a penny is nothing. Worthless; what can you buy with a penny? Millions and millions of people visit Begslist every day, and millions of Begslist users have a penny they could spare.
The good news is, I don't even need millions of pennies. I only need 900,000 pennies a semester!
If requested, I can provide proof of my acceptance letter and intent to enroll at Chapel Hill.
