hi im not sure how promising this website is but i guess we shall see. first off im not begging for money but i please ask that you add me to your prayer because i could sure use it. here is my story: I am 24 years old i have been working full time since i was 16 and had my own place the day i turned 18 my mom raised 3 kids all alone so she taught me to be independent when i turned 20 i was diagnoosed with Crohns disease i only had few flare ups and for the most part stayed in remission as of april 4 2012 my world has been turned upside down not only am i not in remission anymore but my body is rejecting medication which is resulting in me losing my intestines and having a colostimy bag for the rest of my life but the hospital ran a ct scan on me when i was in the hospital for a 3 1/2 week stay and found one large lump and 4 small lumps in my left breast and a large mass on my left ovary, at this point they arent concerned about the mass on my ovary but the large lump on my breast doesnt look good at all. i am now deeply depressed and just asking for a prayer i am home from the hospital now but i cant pay my bills or afford my medication all my bills are now past due and i havnt had meds in 2 days i dont know what i will do next ive applied for medicaid and awaiting my approval my dr adviced me to apply for disability which i did but it is a 3-6 month process on top of all these health problems i have, now i have all these bills that i look at over and over everyday i have never not been able to pay my bills and not been able to buy food and now i have nothing im negative in my account because my car insurance gets directly taken out... sorry so long guess i just needed to vent even if you cant spare one dollar please all i ask is for a prayer i never thought at age 24 i will be dealing with this but like my mother used to tell me "god will not give you what you cant handle" so please just keep me in mind when saying a prayer
With the lowering of Federal pale grants from $7500 to $5500 i have begun to struggle immensely. Tuition costs are around $10,000 /yr for tuition alone. This does not include where/how you park, live, eat or pay bills. I need money for everyday luxuries, such as: food, electricity, rent and tuition. These payments come due in large lump sums and it is pretty outrageous for someone who is trying to better their education. Please someone find it in them to help. Thank you so much.

Graves Disease and Thyroid Cancer

Posted by kayhere on 2012-02-23 09:58:01

I need to rasie some money for my medical bills. I am 40 years old and a single mother of 3 children. I have had my share of medical problems from Stroke to depression but last year was the icing on the cake. I had went to my cousins' house and was helping him with arrangements for his wifes funeral (breast cancer) when I couldn't sleep. And when I say I couldn't sleep it was 4 days before I could fall asleep. I thought that it was just stress and noticed my shorts falling off. So I weighted myself and was in shock. Before the trip I weighted 248lbs but the scale said 219lbs. I couldn't figure what was going on because I had been eating more than ever. So I left my cousin and came home and went to my doctor. He wanted to run some test, he felt a lump in my throat. The Ultrasound showed some nodules and needed to have a biopsy. During the biopsy the doctor mentioned the spots to be calcified which meant noting to worry about. I was so happy. Then the next day my doctor called me at home and said we need to talk. I told him I know it's nothing since it was calcified and he said no that it is cancer. That a rare number of people will have this type of cancer. So I am unlucky. How can I be that 1 person in a million. Why couldn't I have hit the lottery. I am unable to work due to the dizzyspells and the fainting I have from this. I also have the shakes so bad that I look as if I will spill everything I touch. I had welfare insurance which covers the treatments but I am required to work for the system to keep the insurance and my doctor and my body will not allow this. I have worked all my life in the medical field until I became ill. I have applied for SSD and had to appeal the out come because this type of cancer is not covered by there means. So I am now stuck. I need surgury but have no means to pay. My doctor is willing to allow me to make payments while I get treatment but still need to upfront a part of the cost before they can do anything. So please help me.

Business and Tax Help

Posted by Peachy on 2012-02-10 02:58:39

Hi. I opened a rehab gym last June to help people with various conditions - Parkinsons Disease,MS, MD, Cardiac, Strokes, muscle/joint injuries etc. We are doing well but I have just had to pay my tax bill and I've had to borrow £2000 from a friend to cover it. I now need to pay that back and although my business is growing I can't afford to pay it back in one lump sum which is what is needed as my friend has bills to pay now! Any donation no matter how small will be greatly received and any money I make over the £2000 I will plough 50% into the business and 50%to someone else who needs money. If you can help me I will be so grateful and full of admiration as I have never done this before and didn't know that there was people willing to help others so much. Thank you.

Help For My Animal Sanctuary

Posted by crazycatlady on 2011-12-27 03:58:25

I never thought of asking for help before but actually until recently didn't require it. Since 2002 I've been disabled from a work accident and on a fixed disability income. I was losing my mind not being able to do anything too physical as I have worked all my life so I began working with stray animals full-time. In the small town where I live there is no shortage of people dumping animals....mainly cats. Before I had my accident I bought my own home on 7 acres and I was single so had a lot of room to spare.
A few years later I met then married a man who turned my life upside down. I discovered he didn't like me or the animals and was using me for what little money I had until last year when he found a woman ten years older that him that was quite wealthy so he left me for her (good riddance). Well he left me over $70 000 in credit card debt and because of this every month I struggle to pay my utility bills. A few months ago I already re-financed my mortgage and paid off the largest of my debt. I now am in for over $20 000 and I am truly at the end of my tether. I was hopeful after being profiled on the news show W5 (March 5 2011) here in Canada that I might get a bit of help from donations but they made the episode more about animal hoarders which I am NOT and while they didn't lump me in with the hoarders they suggested that in the future I may become one. All the animals in my care are immediately assessed by a vet (she is wonderful, comes to my home and offers me hugely discounted services) and all are vaccinated and spay/neutered asap as I wouldn't want to add to the pet overpopulation and when healthy adopted out to vetted homes. Almost all are dropped off sick and require medications, some for life. Since I've been involved in rescue I've become well known around the village so I have animals dropped off almost weekly, and if by chance I'm not home many times people will leave them boxed or even loose by my back door/yard. Lately I've had to turn people away since I can't afford the surgeries anymore and I dread to think where these animals are going since there is no official local animal shelter. Currently I have 2 horses, 8 assorted chickens, 6 rabbits, 5 dogs and 38 cats that are ready for new homes. My feed bill alone is over $200 per week which would be fine if I didn't have the huge debt hanging over my head. Please help if you love animals and are in better financial shape than I am...any amount would be most helpful.
Thank you in advance for your time,
Xandra

life saving surgery/no insurance

Posted by eb1717 on 2011-12-05 20:58:04

i have been fighting malignant melanoma for 3 years now, my husband lost his job 2 years ago, and with it went my health insurance. i do not qualify for medicare because we own our home (we don't really own it yet as we do pay almost 1000$ a month in a mortgage). i work part time but, at 8.50 an hour that's hardly enough to support our young so who has been diagnosed with autism. this past summer doctors found a lump in the front of my neck, after a biopsy, it was revealed to be life threatening and needed to come out.the surgery cost is $20,000. dr. bills come almost every day, and i still have appointments to go to! melanoma is a life long cancer, in that to keep it from spreading and growing i have to see a dr. several times a year and undergo biopsy's of anything out of the ordinary. the thyroid cancer may or may not be related to the melanoma, they don't really know, it has been removed but i still owe thousands of dollars to doctors and hospitals. i am afraid that if i cant pay my medical bills the doctors will no longer be able see me, and my cancer will return unchecked, please help if u can, thank you

Help Payin Back Rent!!

Posted by lovnme_r3 on 2011-08-05 22:58:18

My back rent is only $2000. A couple months ago I received a cash advance loan to help pay some unforeseen car expenses. Of course, I got caught in a vicious cycle. I am finally back on track except for this one outstanding payment. My apt complex has been very helpful the past few months, but are now at the end of their rope. I need the $2000 lump sum to avoid eviction. Once that is paid, the rest of my life in on track. I tried getting loans from the bank, but I was denied due to a low credit score. My income is sufficient, but I just got behind. I am not looking for a handout. I will be able to pay you back over time or exchange the money with some kind of service to be rendered. Please help! It is greatly appreciated!

I am a 47 year old single mom and due to a divorce and other unforeseen circumstances in my life my credit report has taken a beating. I borrowed enough money to pay for a pre-licensing course to get my insurance license and after several months of studying I took the test and passed. I immediately went out looking for work only to discover that I had to pass a credit check to get a job in this field. I have never filed for bankruptcy because my intention has always been to pay my bills. I really don't owe enough to justify filing for bankruptcy anyway. Now it seems I am in a catch 22 situation. I can't pay my debts without a job and I can't get a job unless I pay my debts. I have exhausted all my resources. I am currently unemployed and because of my credit history I can't qualify for a loan. I thought of selling my car, but it is not worth what I owe. I need help. I am in a desperate situation and will loose the house I rent if I don't get back to work soon. I tried to work with a credit repair agency but my unemployment benefits are not enough to cover my rent and utilities as well as a payment to them. My outstanding debt is only $7,000, and if I had a lump payment available I could negotiate with my creditors and probably get that amount down to $3500. If there is anything you could do to help me I would greatly appreciate it. If I get the money I need, I can go to work immediately and I will use my tax refund to donate to others in need here.

Need either car repairs or a better used car

Posted by Lorsch on 2011-07-08 17:58:40

The past 5 years have been tough on myself and my daughter. I work hard for a living, and we get by, but there's never any extra. Last year my ex-husband stopped paying his child support and although it's before the courts, I haven't been able to collect on any outstanding money yet.

When he stopped paying, I ended up having to move to a small/cheaper home, and had my car repo'd. I turned in my credit cards, and went to a cash only lifestyle.

I got myself a beater car to keep getting to work, and to get my child to school every day. Now, the car is on it's last legs, but I have gone through my savings, and have no more money to repair it, or to get a different car.

I don't need a fancy car, just one that works and won't kill us with fumes.

Again, I do work, I do not have any subsidies or social/government help. I pay my own way.

If there is someone who could donate a lump sum, or several who could donate what you could afford, I will pool it to get a safe vehicle for my daughter and I.

I want to also point out, that I do not drink, use drugs or smoke. I don't date, I don't go to bars. I stay home and raise my girl, and work. I am not frivolous with money and the money I can raise from here is most definitely going to a safe vehicle.

Thank you in advance.

Need Money for School-URGENT-PLEASE

Posted by jparker2 on 2011-06-02 15:58:37

I need to pay 10,000 on my school tuition in order to enroll for this coming fall semester. I am employed as a nanny so my money is not taxed or verifiable. My school is not willing to divide my payments into monthly or semester plans and will not allow me to enroll unless I pay the lump sum at the beginning of the year. I do not want to take out student loans because I already will have the money to pay the tuition and do no want to wait until graduation to pay it off. I just want the 10,000 on a short term basis, and will begin paying as soon as the loan is given. I will give the 10,000 directly to my school and can pay you 1,500 per month beginning with the month the loan is given and each month after until it is paid. This is a one time situation because I do not qualify for federal aid due to my parent's income and have chosen to enroll in school. No one in my family has the money to pay it and no bank will loan to me because they can't verify my income. But it's there and I will pay you back immediately! Thank you so much!
My husband and I work. I had a great lump sum retirement 7 years ago, but it's totally gone. I had enormous credit card bills because of extensive dental work that I had to have. the finance charges built up. I kept withdrawing from my IRA. I took out a couple loans to keep up. Then I had to pay a few months out of my pocket for my mom in the assisted living due to dementia. This was more than $2,000/mo. plus $600 mortgage on her house plus our rent. IRA is gone. Am working. Went bankrupt last year. But even normal utilities are hard to keep up with. Anything helps. Anything...even $5, $10. A few hundred wld be great. TY and God bless you.

Need $8000 urgently to continue studies

Posted by kithel on 2010-11-08 08:58:58

Hi, my name is Kit. Am a fulltime international student in Australia. My parents were helping me with my fees but they lost all their super and lump sum last year due to the downfall of the economy. I am now stuck with a huge debt of $8000 to the university and if not paid by mid of December 2010, I am told that I won't be allowed to sit for any exams and may even be deported as this debt has been accumulating for the past year.

I beg of you, please help me out. My parents cannot do anything even if they wanted. I seriously want to study and become a respectable accountant.

I will be ever grateful for any donation.

Thank you and God bless...

Please help!

I have no health insurance. About two months ago I found lump in my breast. Thankfully I was able to have a mammogram. The lump is suspicious. The Doctor wants me to have a biopsy. Having no insurance, the hospital is requiring payment up front. I have managed to save $1800.00 so far, but and still about $2400.00 short. I am scared to death about having the biopsy. Afraid that they might find cancer. My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer last November. But I also afraid that if I have to wait to long to have the biopsy, that it will decrease my chances of fighting what they find. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for listening, and God Bless.

Medical Expense

Hi, My name is Mary. About two months ago I found a lump on my breast. My family doctor said it was a bug bite. It never went away. Doctor sent me for a mammogram. Thank God for Susan G. Koheman Foundation, they assisted me with the mammogram fees. Our family has no health insurance. The lump is suspecious, and the Dr.'s want me to have a biopsy. This biopsy is going to cost me about $4000.00. We have about $1200.00 in our savings. But I will still need another $2800.00 to have the procedure. They hospital will not do the procedure without cash up front. I have exhausted all other options and have no where else to turn. I am begging for any help I can get. I have 3 kids and am scared to death that this will be cancer. Thank you very much for your consideration.

A Fellow American Down On Her Luck

Posted by BegginYourPardon on 2010-09-05 18:58:58

May God bless each and everyone of you. I am seeking help to get out of the debt I put myself into. I owe a student loan from 2003 or so and although over the years I paid what I could, and even made lump sum payments with tax money, I never finished paying it off. So now I am back at square one with owing the entire balance. This is a very bad time for me as I am about to give birth to my fourth child. Up until now God has blessed me with being able to make do with what I have. Yet with this debt collector on my back I am scarred that any savings that I have will be taken by force to pay off this bill. So I am asking that anyone who can to please donate ANY AMOUNT! Whatever you feel in your heart to give will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your assistance. And may God continue to Bless YOU!!
