Need Help...I am sure you heard that one before.

Posted by themistknight on 2012-05-19 00:58:58

As I said I am sure you heard someone saying they need help. If you are reading this. It is hopeful that you are here to help someone with a request. AND I am more hopeful you have come to my ad to help me.

You see, I have been waiting for the last four years for what I call my turn. In that I have been waiting to find a job. Not much luck there. For my turn to live in a better home, with stuff that does not have bedbugs because there is no help in the area for beds and that do not come with those little blood suckers. My lags are still littered there bit marks.

It is so depressing because I am gaining way to much weight. AND because I only get food stamps. I cannot really afford the healer stuff. Out side my rent. I get less then $30.00 a month to live on ($29.00). That is $14.50 every two weeks. I barely have enough to buy the essentials. I am more then just struggling. I am almost suffering.

MY past makes it hard for me to get a job. AND I cannot improve my past if I cannot get a job. I have a hard time getting to school to get my GED. Because I have a lack of reliable transportation. AND that is in part of why I am here.

I am asking ANYONE. With the ability to help me with any little bit they can. Your generosity, will go towards helping me pay off my debt, buy a vehicle (and register it and insure it), and with any luck get on my feet.

You see, I have this plan. If I could get as close to $10,000 as possible (I am willing to pay back anyone willing to help me-upward of twice that if you can help with all that at once). To one pay back as much of the $1,000 give or take a few dollars (or close to because I could likely get the company to settle for less. Then I will like to buy me a truck (heavy duty or a former U-Haul) fix it up, register it, and insure it my guess is something like $8,000. The rest will go toward buying a bed that does not have bed bugs. Get a new par of boots (which cost about $50.00 locally). Blankets, pillows (again with out the bugs), and some other little bits and tickets.

But if I could get help with even half that I will make it work some how. (not to sound ungrateful). I appreciate the time it took to read this. AND To read others stories. I wish I could get on my feet it might very well be a day I will return and help someone out on here to. But like everyone else, I am in need to.

Now in closing. I do not know if I am more deserving or not. But if you could help me, perhaps make it my turn. I will not let what you help me with pass me up. Please help where you can. Even if all I get is like $500.00 I could buy me a bed. AND those little twinkets. I was talking about. Every dollars counts. Thanks for helping me, and other people.

Help me get to the 2012 Disc Golf World Championships!

Posted by StrongHeart on 2012-04-27 15:58:11

I have been invited by the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) to play in the World Championships this year. I am currently registered but now I am worried about not having enough money to make it there. The tournament is in North Carolina and I am from Michigan. This is the first year that I have been invited and would be devastated if a lack of funds prevented me from playing.

My husband has been out of a job for over a year now and we've been struggling to pay mortgage and electric enough as is. I work full time but it's not easy to live off one income. Until he finds a job, for which he is constantly searching, I don't have any extra money in my budget for extras like tournaments but this is such a great opportunity for me.

I need all the help I can get and every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated! I am going to be fundraising locally to help cover the cost of hotel accommodations.

Help support women in disc golf!

Help me asap please

My names jade and i'm 20 years old. I am currently employed full time but I get less than minimum wage and because I work for a small company locally they can't afford to give me a pay rise. For the past few years I've had the odd loan here and there but when my father tragically died last year, my mother doesn't work and I've been trying to support us financially ever since (because It's been extremely hard being on less than minimum wage. I've tried to search for other jobs that pay more, but in these times it's very hard to find jobs! So therefore I've had to take our several loans which means I'm not in debt. I try not to tell my mother about this as I know it will worry her. I'm now overdue on serveral loans/bills, meaning heating, phone line, water etc will be cut off. I'm so so worried and don't see a way out anymore. My debts come to serveral 1000. I just need some sort of help for anyone please. Any donation would make a drastic difference to my life. Being only 20 I feel I've been through too much bad luck for someone so young. Just trying to get a break. Please help if you can, it will be greatly appriciated. Thank you.

Racing Sponsorship in the Pacific Northwest

Posted by racer-n-need on 2012-01-17 01:58:35

Sponsorship has been in integral part of racing for years.
Racing can get expensive. There are many items that need to be taken care of just to get out and race. You have to get a car, strip it completely, get it running (buy parts, tires, fuel) and even paint it! (someone has to paint the Sponsors name on the car). You have to store the car someplace when it is not in use, and you need a shop to work on the car. On race day, after you already paid the entry, you have to get the car to the race track, and bring it back home with you to prepare for the next race. You have to provide a scorer and crew, all of which is separate admission to the track, and feeding the crew and keeping fluids in them helps keep them on their toes to make any quick fixes! All of this, and all the time spent by all the team members add up, and most if it comes from our own pockets. Now go one step further and multiply this by about 36 races for the season, It adds up. That's why we need Sponsor Help.

Why Sponsor Us?
By Sponsoring us (or any other racing team), there are several benefits. A presence in racing business. Advertising before, during and after every race. The Car, Driver and/or Crew can schedule special appearances at your place of business for promotional purposes. You even get support from us, the team members and crew. When you sponsor us, you sponsor the team, and your visible pretty much the entire race! Lastly, When we win a race, YOU win a race!
Be a Sponsor!!
We offer several sponsor packages to suit various needs. They're not written in stone, so we can customize your package to suit your specific needs. We take our Sponsors seriously. Without you we can't make this happen!
Doesn't have to be Cash!
We have a many costs to cover.Parts, Tires, Gas, Tow, Entry Fees, Pit Crew Fees, License's, etc. or even just plain hard working talent. Whatever can be donated to helping the team counts!
Benifits of becoming involved in our race team as a sponsor.
We would be happy to display the race car at your place of business or any activity you may have such as a company picnic or special sales event.
And, of course, your company name or logo displayed on the side of the race car. Your company name will be exposed to as many as 1,500 race fans every week. These are local people that spend thier money locally.
We would accomodate any other special arrangements that a potential sponsor may require. Again, our agreement could be totaly negoitable in order to best serve the advertising needs of the sponsor.

Mum wants help please...

Posted by 11barbaraellen on 2012-01-07 20:58:16

I am a solo mum with my invalid 81 year old father and 2 teenage boys at home. I work 2 jobs to keep us. My son will be 17years old in 3 weeks and he wants to work. He is in his final year at school, year 12. When finished year 12 in 2012 he wants to be our family's third generation farmer. Our family for 2 generations have worked and lived on the land for farm owners. Helping out on other peoples farms for all of his 17 years he has a wealth of knowledge and experience far beyond his years. I am not financial enough to feed us every night let alone give him any assistance for a bright albeit a hard working future. We live in Queensland in an area where most of the casual farm work is already taken. Please, we do not have any family who can help us out with a job let alone a dream. A little help from a lot of people can help get my sons future off the ground to run and own his own farm.Having his own farm has been the only job he has ever wanted. He has 2 willing workers in myself and his brother to get things started. There is also a lot of his peers who also have grown up in this farming district, youth who are willing and able to work along side of him. The alternative is they too will be out of work by the end of this year. We need what to us is an enormous amount of money, around $750,000.00 to purchase an existing Lucerne farm.He wants to be innovative and extend the Lucerne producing farm into a mixed business, Lucerne and old fashion calf rearing. There are no existing farms of this type in the area. There are many Lucerne farms locally but no calf rearing farms. We have done our homework, calf rearing is very viable. The Northern Territory runs successful calf rearing farms. This is also an area we are comfortable in. For extra pocket money it is what we have done in the past when we have been allowed to use the owners property. Please help me buy my boys a job and more importantly a very Australian future on the land.

$300 and a Laptop

Posted by uhelped on 2011-10-26 15:58:44

resortformymobilehomies.blogspot.com (click tabs for The Goal, Funding the Project and How Can I Help for more info.).

After years of study and hands-on experience I truly have The Goose That Lays the Golden Eggs.

However, in order to fund the Goose, I need to start by trading the Forex. Because of the leverage involved and my system that will limit my risk, I can start this venture with only $300 and a laptop.

I am currently homeless and tonight we are expecting a low of 17 degrees in Colorado Springs. Since I don't drink or do drugs I can take advantage of the emergency shelter locally.

However, many others are not so fortunate. They need help in ways that they are not currently receiving. Many of the homeless have animals, and for that reason alone, they are unable to use the shelter.

Others are like I used to be when I first started going through this ordeal. They are still in their cars and purposely avoid association with the homeless who are not mobile. They may still be working, receiving a government check or nothing at all.

Help Me Help Them by funding my forex trading venture.

What can you expect in return? Your help will not be in vain. If you read the blog you will be able to see the type of person I am (warts and all). I have tried everything from looking for full-time employment, working day labor which is no longer an option because of physical reasons and flying a sign on the side of the interstate.

In addition to the immediate help you provide me, you can also know that you have helped thousands of others in Colorado alone.

Help With my rent/Getting back on our feet

Posted by Tgre on 2011-10-25 13:58:21

Have never had to ask for anything. I have always worked hard for what I do have, but I find my family in a very bad space right now. My husband and I relocated with the promise of a good job. We sold some of our belongings and moved 1100 miles from home. We used the money to pay security and first months rent. We also used it for a uhaul to get here. After getting here and settling in, my husband finds out that the man he had met with and secured a job with was a phony. It was a scam. We now find ourselves looking for any type of job. We are'nt picky. We are hardworking. It's just that our due date for our rent came quicker than employment. We can make arrangements to pay back any money that someone is able to help us with. We are behind 1 month and come November it will be 2 months. Thats a total of $1400 we need. As of yesterday I was offered employment. But I will not start for another week and will not get a check for 3 weeks from now. My landlord is mad. My husband and I are stressed and fighting. I have asked for help locally but am told all the money is gone and others tell us we must be residents for at least six months. Please I am begging someone to help us and I will make every effort to pay it back in a timely manner. Thank you so very much.

Please help. I need money to get a used car

Posted by Mom23kids on 2011-09-12 10:58:02

My husband and I have been out of work for the past 9 months. We are doing the best that we can to take care of our 3 children. Both my husband and I are Army Veterans and are not afraid of hard work. But we can not find jobs locally and we can not look for jobs in neighboring cities because we don't have transportation and there isn't public transportation available. We have not been able to fix our car because we don't have the money. Anything that you are will to donate would help. Thank you for considering our request.

Need money to get to Aberdeen, WA from Kingsport, TN

Posted by cpalme5 on 2011-06-28 06:58:37

This is my first time placing an ad such as this.I am trying to get a bus ticket and some travel money for a trip to Aberdeen, WA.

I am going out there for a job. I am a 37-year old married college student that has been unemployed for about 3 years.

My wife and I are pretty poor and we are having a very difficult time getting by without my having a source of income. We survive off of the SSI and SSDI money she gets every month which isn't a lot even living in this area.

I am tired of sitting at home dreaming about working again someday while we struggle with food and the bills every month.

I have sold off everything that I have of value to help my wife and stepson buy food, gas etc, even the computers that I paid for with student loans. Computers that I needed to complete my online courses. Now I have nothing but bills and debt to show for my life.

I don't graduate from college until October 2013. Which is still a good ways off. I can't wait another two or three years to go back to work, and the liklihood of me finding a job in this economically deppressed area is slim to none.

I have tried everything I can think of to find work locally and nothing has worked out. So I need to relocate and settle someplace where there is going to be long-term opportunities for me and my family.

I just need money for a greyhound ticket and some money to travel with. The ticket I believe is like $244 or 258.00, and it is a 3-day trip from here. So, I guess I would need about $100-150.00 to travel with for food and for a ride to the house where I am going to be staying until I can secure an apartment for my family and I in the area.

I will be grateful for whatever someone decides to donate to me. I thank you all for taking the time to read my ad. May God bless you!

Help me help the world :-)

Hey everyone! My name is Ben, and I will change this world, with or without you. Any person with a rational thinking mind can look around at the world and see that it's not exactly how it was explained to us. We, the working class, are supposed to be the ever-moving feet of our world; making it work like a well-oiled machine. Well I'm sick of it, and i know that you are too. Why do we have to work so hard every day for ends meat, for minimum wage. Just so that the rich investors, CEO's, and corrupt bosses can have the pleasure of choosing what car to drive around on any particular day. This is why I don't work, if we give in to the system, it will never get better. I walk dogs, cut grass, throw rock shows, make art, and play music for money. In my spare time, I volunteer at many local non-profits and when I no longer need something I've aquired, i donate it. I know that the dollar is a funny tool that gives support to whatever company you give it to. Hence, I choose wisely where these tools are spent. I shop only at locally owned and operated small businesses, I grow my own food and when i can't, I buy organic, healty, non GMO foods, and foods without hormones. I don't support corporate conglomerates. The more we support the things we want in this world, the more the world will change. I ask you to join me in helping the world. I promise any money donated will be spent in the fashion explained here, and together we can make this world a good one for future generations. Though I don't have enough money to pay all of my bills EVERY month, I do my best, and my consciense is clean. I'm in about $10,000 worth of debt, mainly for school and medical, but slowly it's getting taken care of. Any donations are greatly appreciated.
Even if you don't donate, please keep in mind, with ever dollar you spend, you cast a vote to the future of the world. Please spend wisely.
Thanks!
Ben

Artificial limb required to keep disabled junior lawyer in employment

Posted by Blackmoses on 2011-05-13 16:58:34

I am a 46 year old lawyer, formerly a diplomat for my country. My world came tumbling down, when at the age of 37, I was involved in a car accident, as a result of which I lost my right leg. Being disabled, I no longer have a place in diplomacy. I was given three months pay and assisted to return to my home country. I knew it will not be easy to to gain employment. Therefore, I enrolled for a degree in Law. I finished in record time with a first class degree and went on to Law School and was eventually called to my country's bar. Despite my disability, I am a very brilliant lawyer but I only get limited work. I have been advised that unless I find a way of improving my mobility, I am bound to loose my job. Presently, I only use crutches to get about. I require around $3,500 to have artificial limb fitted locally. I am appealling for donations from anyone who may feel led to assist me and I thank you in anticipation of your kind assistance.

Help starting a Farm in PA

Posted by kruszewskib on 2011-05-06 12:58:08

Hello gracious people of the interwebs, My request is a simple one. I want more than anything to start a small farm in PA. I would love to be self sufficient, starting with food for my family. I am caught in the rat race and I want out! This is no way to live. Everyday is the same, wake up go to work, make a few dollars, buy food that is bad for you and costs WAY more than it should. My dream is to work hard on a farm with my family and donate EVERYTHING we dont use to food shelters locally. I am near Erie and hopefully I can set something up here. Would appreciate anything you can give. Land, Equipment, livestock, or money.

my plea

Posted by jer269 on 2011-04-03 08:58:47

ok so here goes. for those of you who know my past know how far i fell into the depths of addiction. after spending 8 yrs under the department of corrections supervision. behind bars and on parole. I realized, again, who i am and where i came from. I was raised Right I Just Forgot. Today i am a father, dad and someday a husband.i'm almost 9 years clean. my life is good . however there are times when ,what i call "my Lion" awakens and tries calling me back to the life of debauchery i lived for so long/ to put my lion to rest i spend a lot of time fishing. hence my plea. for the last 3 yrs ive been professionally walleye fishing locally competing against other teams. sure for cash, but mainly for the the sense of peace and freedom i feel on open water, instead of the fear, loneliness and hatred i felt on the concrete ocean i came from. today i feel my peace and freedom being threatened, ive contacted corporations, and businesses both locally and nationally expressing my desire to partner with them and share my story of success However the the "economic crisis"which hit me personally. Until a month ago i'd been unemployed for a little over 3 months. has most corporations and businesses not sponosing this year. With that and having to take a job that barely pays the bills surely wont allow me to be on the water hardly at all, let alone in a professional series of circuits as planned. therefore i am reaching out to my friends and family, to their connections and resourses to ask for help. Help to maintian the life i ve gained and to maybe partner with a sponsor whom isnt afraid to let a man like me live a life long dream , to be a professional fisherman and share my story maybe helping someone along the way . so if you have any ideas ,connections or maybe even know Oprah or DR. Recently married couple struggling with student loan debt

Posted by tking834 on 2011-02-01 10:58:58

Good morning. My wife and I are struggling to repay our student loan debt. I am a teacher who is at home due to the weather. It's a good thing because I don't have enough gas to get to work and can't buy any for another week. Our student loan payments are so high that we can't pay electric and gas bills. Our heat is due to be shut off soon. My wife has been unable to find a job locally and has been driving an hour each way to her current job as an assistant teacher at a childcare center. The cost of gas is barely covered by her pay. I just don't know what else to do.

I love teaching (music) but our district is in financial trouble (like us) and will be making cuts for next year. It appears my job is included in the cuts. I know there are many people that are in a worse state than we are so I feel guilty for even posting this. However I know that there are people who are in a position to help and I want to be in a position to return that kindness to another someday. Bless you for taking the time to read this and I want to thank you for considering helping us.

Every Dollar Counts

Posted by mharmonv2x0 on 2010-12-06 20:58:58

Seeing as how my wife, two sons and I are in a tight spot, I thought I'd just throw out this call for help. I don't mean to post a sob story, so I wont. Just the facts. I worked for a video game company over two years ago. I was on my way up, but the company laid off it's production department before I had a chance to establish myself as a viable producer for a new company. Money was tight then as I had just been promoted, so my wife and I had to move to Kentucky (where her family is from) in an effort to make ends meet and get help with our children. Since then, finding viable work has been near impossible. Over 150 cover letters and applications have been sent out in the last year to companies all over the US, EU, Canada and Australia. I've managed to land less than 10 phone interviews, but I remain steadfast in my attempt to regain my career path. In the meantime I have been freelancing design for Android Apps and Web Design. Two things that have barely allowed us to keep food on the table and water/power on. My wife was able to find a job just barely above minimum wage, common in this area of the U.S. If any help can be provided, I can assure you it will likely go to one of a few places. #1 - Bills. Water, Electric, Mortgage, Car Insurance. #2 - Groceries. We have two boys, one of them an infant with quite an appetite. We run out of WIC formula each month and must supplement with our own money. One can is over $20.00. I remain hopeful that I will find my way back to that dream job, but as I can't even find temporary, sustainable work locally, we're in a pinch. Thanks so much for your time.

Help to continue my education

I have gone into phlobotemy, and other blood related field (pick lines for cancer patients like my mom) in order to continue any further I must get vaccinations.

I was totally not expecting this (silly me), I can not find anything that I need free locally in San Francisco ( I have looked with documents of requirement from school I still have to pay for what I need). I have comnpleted my TB testing did not excpet for vaccinations to be so high. This is directly from the Colleges Site.

Immunizations
SF State requires that all students provide proof of immunization against Measles, Rubella and Hepatitis B.
Students who were enrolled in a California public schools for the seventh grade or higher on or after July 1, 1999 will not have to provide proof of immunization.
For complete information concerning immunization requirements and to print a copy of the proof of immunization form, please go to the Student Health Service.

The cost is Hepatitis B 75 dollars over 3 shots and Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) is 83.
They highly reccomend the Tetanus: Tdap ("Adacel"/"Boostrix") with whooping cough booster which is on special for 35 dollars.

I know this is a lot of money to ask for, but I would hate to lose all the money I have put into going back to school, and not be able to finish it because of shots.

I plan to so as much volunteer work as I can, for underfunded and needy faculities especially for women.

The total cost is around 300 dollars, I have my paperwork all filled out and stare like it is just going to magiaclly happen.

I want to go into the medical field to help people. I hope someone can help me help others, I see the hope in the future, just got to stick together till then

I have 12 credit hours completed. I just plan NEED help. Thanks for taking the time to read my wish and god bless.

I’ve been blessed to care for my husband and my mother. Both are completely wheelchair bound and in need of 24 hour care. I’m struggling to make ends meet. Their medical costs are huge and I got laid off because of the economy. I’m struggling to make my monthly expenses. My mom makes key chains out of rainbow beads to sell locally. She has dementia so this keeps her busy. We will gladly send you a key chain for your kind donation. Please keep us in your prayers.
