Recently my house has flooded due to a back up in the sewage line in my neighborhood. My entire carpeting, vinyl, and a foot from all my walls. This has amounted to a bill of $2250. I am a teacher at the elementary level so this bill is more than I make in a month. Also this is not the only bill I have to fund. If interested I do have pictures, they have refused to do any of the rebuild until I am able to pay them.

My kid brother is a 29 year old who is dieing from End Stage Kidney Decease. His Dr said the following:
that he is terminal, he needs help and I need help to provide for him as he has no income and can not work. He has been staying with me since just before Christmas(about three months after he was diagnosed), He spends most of his day dealing with hospitals and the nights going to dialysis treatments then back home. he is applying for SSI and SSD but still no word as of yet. In the mean time I need help to purchase the medical equipment his doctors have required him to have at home, also we need clothing for him as the last 3 clothing banks I have gone to near our home have had nothing his size. His diet is a dialectic renal diet and I can no longer afford to provide foods that meet it's stringent standards with out help. He dose not qualify for pre-SSI as he has no children. We have tried everything and now must resort to begging for help. We need a bed, bedding, a Fridge, clothing, activities(Batman themed), food, a new kidney would be nice. The list goes on, Please help If you can I can provide letters from his DR as proof.
This has put a strain on all of us both physically and emotionally But I love my kid brother our parents are dead so we have no one to turn to.

My wife and I have 3 children with another on the way. A few years ago I was a successful insurance and annuity agent, but the downturns in the economy forced me to get out of that line of work. I am working 3 jobs, putting in as many hours as I can, but with some recent medical bills we have gotten behind. Currently, we are totally broke, and our cabinets are getting pretty empty. We are a month behind on water and electric bills, our phone bill, and our student loans, and it is another week before I can expect any paycheck so I can get to the grocery store and catch up on a few bills. We don't have health insurance, and my work doesn't offer any group plan, so we have had to go on Medicaid for the kids and my wife's pregnancy. We have always been hesitant to seek out government assistance, but last month we found ourselves with no food to eat and behind on all our bills. We applied for SNAP (food stamps), but were told that we make $150 per year too much because of all the jobs I am working. I'm exhausted, but I would work more if I had any hours left in the days to get extra work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is so hard today with the economy the in shambles like it is. My Family lives below the poverty line. even though my father works 15 hour days sometimes longer. Food is scarce and I think my sister is getting sick from the lack of proper nutrition. I don't ever ask for much, and not the type to look for a hand out. But Its getting tough and We need help. I am a single Mom of three wonderful children. But it is finacialy
difficult. I had a great factory job but was injured on the factory line and fired for it. It has been difficult to find a job that after childcare, I can't earn enough money to pay the bills. Two of my children have special needs, my oldest with her difficulties will be repeating two grades in elementry, !st grade and failing this year, 3rd grade. My second child is mild autistic, and will have to repeat 1st grade. Both children are taken out of the classrooms for resource classes. It has been a while and all of my savings have been used to suport us all.
My x left us in Nov 2006, and we have not seen him since. Years of refusing to pay childsupport and he is 24,000 in arrears, managed to get SSI just for himself, so child support is only $50 a mo and $10 mo to pay back for arrears. I am asking for help so that I can help pay off the growing bills I can't afford anymore. I don't own anything I could sell. I feel as if I am drowning, falling unable to pay surounded with past due notices and collections calls and feel like the end of my rope. Please help, even small amounts in collection are blessings. I am greatful for even someone taking the time to read my note, please if nothing eles take a moment and pray for me to be stronger, I feel so weak and worn out from the long battle to stay afloat. I was one of the few employees laid off in a state that somehow survived the recession largely intact, but my position didn't thanks to a governor who rejected parts of the stimulus package. After a struggle for searching for work at home, I set out, with the meager earnings I was able to produce through freelance writing, at a whopping two cents a word, camping along the way, to apply to every open position I could find across this country. 23 months later, I'm still searching. I'm not bilingual, and I don't have a degree. What I do have is experience, an amazing way to deal with people face to face and a ridiculous work ethic, but apparently those aren't the traits looked for in this job market, merely the person who was committed enough to spend four years on a campus.

The math, well, that and the awesome algorithms behind gmail tell me I've applied to 3,150 jobs in over a dozen states. Maybe a hundred interviews from the whole lot. And according to the IRS paperwork I sent in recently, my income last year was a far cry from the most recent classification of the poverty line.

Anything helps, and would be forever appreciated.

One of these days an application will lead to an interview which will lead to an offer, but until then, what? All I can do is keep plugging away. Sleeping in my car when I can't afford a cheap motel room. Waking up to an aggravated foot and hip thanks to my injuries in a life I feel so far removed from it doesn't even feel like it was real anymore.

And I guess, come across this site from the random google search of a desperate person, trying to find some help in a world that seems to have rejected her.

we are a ffamily on their worst. We live in spain, we both are jobless (me for more than a year, my husband 4months), and we have no income at all, and very difficult to find a job as more than 25% of population here is unemployed, and unemployment is growing.

Some time ago, we got scammed with a personal credit and, despite trying to cancel it, we couldn't and we have to pay for it all. It's not much money monthly but, as we have no income at all, paying for basic services (electricity, water, phone) is a pest.

The complete debt of that credit is 3000 euros, but paying it 70 euros each month, phone is fixed in 80 euros (handy and line with dsl), electricity is 40 euros a month, and water only 30 euros. That makes a total of 220 euros a month.

I could start working in june (no papers no social security...just work for money and food) but till then, we need your help!

I am a student and on the boarder line of being evicted. By now I would have gone for help else where and I have run on empty.
I've been looking for loans, jobs (I've gotten one but it doesn't start until May) but nothing that can help me now. What I am looking for is over 1000. I have missed two payments for February and March that is 780 a month. The loan I have for being a student has ran on empty because of tuition. This is my first time being in this situation and to be honest I'm scared. If I am able to get 800 or 900 would be great. I don't know how I will pay for April. I'm tired of people scamming me online for loans (thank God I haven't given those people any money). I do have other things I need help with (over due credit card payments, phone bills) but if someone out there can help me I would greatly thank you.

i have a wonderful testimony to share. i was raped at 13 years of age. my life was turned upside down. i looked above and said to God, "i am going to go through some things in life arn't i?" He said "yes" then i said "and i'm going to help a bunch of people some day?"
