I am a 50 year old man.I take care of my mom as to shes been a tempamental diabetic since she was 31.She also has severe neropathy. After my fiancee had paseed away in 2004,I was left to sell our house and to start a business so I take care of my mom and work. The idea I had was to do lawn care,painting-interior and exterior homes, haul unwanted items to the dump for customers I acquired from my business I started after selling my house.I was able to persue my dream business in LawnCare ,and was able to provide my mom with the assitence she needed. Since 2006 I have saved her life more times than I have fingers and toes. This job is also conveinent because if my mom or someone calls me with an medical or any kind of accident emergency I can leave my job to help, return to finish it after I am done.My customers are aware of that precedure since I informed them when I acquired them as customers.Since 2006 when I started my business and purchashed all my equipment needed for the lawn care business, some of the important pieces of equipment had stopped working such as my lawn tractor and weed eater. I still have my pick-up truck and trailer, blower, hedge trimmers, and push lawn mower.I am behind on my property tax due to not being able to work as well.I still have all my customer contacts and willing to get more when I can advertise again, but I'm sure I have lost some since I have'nt been able to work.I hope someone can help me get back on my feet I will be much appreciative to them as I will offer you free service due from my greatfulness ! Thanks for your time and have a blessed day ! John

Alright, its been a long hard road but Im finally starting to see the light. Long story short, IM IN A BIND! Im going crazy as to what to do. My mother passed away 2010 & I was no wheres near ready for her to leave me. So without a job, car or a completed education I took off on my own because she was all I had. I lived with friends while I tried to get my things together but there were some really bad, unsafe & unhealthy living situations so I bounced around alot & eventually wasnt able to get my diploma. I thought I finally caught a break, a girl said I could live with her rent free if I was her sitter 5 nights a week, that was quickly ended. After only 3 mths I find out the house was up for foreclosure & was going up for public sale within 3 wks. I finally found a more stable, long term place to stay a few mths ago, Ive looked into getting my GED & I start working in May for at&t customer service, then I can save up money for a car. I really want to get my CNAs but in order to do that I need my GED & the CNA course is $400 & the GED is $70. I would love to be able to take my GED next mth, the tests only come around every other mth & itll be available to take in early April & Id love to sign up for CNA courses after I pass the GED, my next steps after that is to start my at&t job, save up for a car, eventually get a CNA job then go to college while Im working CNA. Just right now Im in a bind, I cant seem to find a way to make money. Ive offered babysitting, pet sitting/grooming, housecleaning, lawn mowing, and no ones taken me up on my offers. $470 would change my life as silly as that sounds, but it would. Ive lost my mom, been homeless, ive been hungry for days, & Ive felt like I coulntor wouldnt make it, well thanks to some amazing people who are allowing me to stay here rent free until Im able to get on my feet I finally feel like things are starting to look up, I just need a littlr nudge in the right direction & financially Im unable to do it on my own. I hope someones willing to help me, help myself have a good life. Truth is Im terrified of doing it all alone, but I gotta make my momcproud & do whats best. Thanks everyone for reading :)

We are trying to find help in any way.
We recently lost our home, and are currently living in a camper. We need a bigger place so our children can come back home. We are trying to start a lawn care company to have work. Everyone knows that for every job application there are 5000 applicants and we have been looking for work for over two years. At this point we have exhausted all our funds just trying to look for work.
Not sure what anyone out there can do for us but anything would be appreciated.

I have never done anything like this before but I am desperate today. I lost my job due to the company went bankrupt. I lost my 401 k because the company went bankrupt it wasn't much but it was mine.I lost my medical for my family and have no job. I was diagnosed with a lung problem and have to be on oxygen and inhalers, now I can not work. The medicine I need is very expensive, plus my husband is on meds for his heart which he had a massive heart attack and 4 stents put in, he is working so hard to keep us afloat I am scared he is going to end up having another. We can't keep up with the mortgage. In our life time we have always helped the ones that needed it. We have taken in friends and there family, our family members, our kids friends when they had no place to go.We have never asked for anything from them either because that is what friends and family do for each other. We have been bringing up our grandson since he was born he is now 14, his father died 2 yrs ago. He and his mother live with us also. We have helped our neighbors and still do today. We take care of the lady next doors yard for her because her children are to busy with there own lives. We cut her lawn, rake the leaves, shovel the driveway and I love her she is my friend. The man across the street has cancer and can no longer do his yard so we help out there. Sometimes I make food for them and send it over. My mother said if you do good in this world and help others it will came back to you 10 times. So I ask of you to help us with anything you can so we can keep our home and stay and help my friends. We are so behind on everything I just don't see the light at the end of the tunnel please somebody get me a flashlight thank you for listening thank you for giving and god bless you and yours I don't have a paypal but here is my address if anyone wants to help 87 Main St Riverside RI 02915

Please help, We're about to be homeless

Posted by weneedanangel on 2011-09-30 01:58:12

We are a couple, aged 37 and 38. It takes a lot for us to ask for help, but if any can be given - no matter how small - if a lot of people give a little, it can add up to a lot ;) - it would be an absolute godsend. In the past I have always tried to help, whether it was picking up someone asking for food and taking them to buy food at the grocery store, helping another couple with children with a house payment, or simply offering them a job (odd job around my home or even with the company I used to work for before I was laid off.) .

We're about to lose our home. I recently recieved a cut off notice for our utilities and in order to keep them on it will cost $181.61 the balance due however is $188.00. This will not matter however, because I don't have the funds to make the house payment coming due on the 12th of October. I am 399.00 short on the payment. The balance we owe on our home is $6,320.00. Once the house is paid off we will be able to pay $180.00 for lot rent instead of $580.00 for lot rent and house payment.. (Of which only $200.00 goes towards the balance if not paid in full - which is .32 more payments at $580.00 a month). If we can just get our home paid off we would be okay - even with child support garnishing 54% of my pay. By law Child Support Enforcement can garnish up to 65% of a payee's pay.

Just to be up front, I do have a job. Unfortunately I only work about 30 hours a week on average at minimum wage. I am very happy for my job, but after child support garnishes $478.00 a month from my paycheck we can barely make the house payment most months. I have filed for a reduction of child support, but they refuse to use my legitmate income, instead using the income I made previously when I was in a position to help others, and did so regularly. My employer has even filed an affidavit with child support enforcement stating they cannot offer me more then 32 hours and that I make minimum wage. I am curretly looking for a second job, or another job that pays better to take the place of the job I now hold. If anyone has any IT professional positions, please let me know as I would love to come work for you, or your company. That would be the best way to help us out.

My boyfriend would love to work, but he is disabled and currently has an application in with Social Security Disability, unfortunately it takes a long time for it to come through, and by the time it does we will have already lost our home. He was disabled 2 years ago last July when he was working on a wireless tower that was 80 foot tall. It collapsed under him and he is very lucky to have survived the fall, however, when he came down he landed on his ankle and the impact caused the joint to turn around backwards and upside down. He has had surgery for this, unfortunately it is still not right. He cannot straighten out his foot to walk. Because of shortening of the tendons on the inside and front of his ankle he is not able to balance or apply weight to the ankle for more then a few moments. And even that short amount of time causes him extreme pain. He tries to help around the house by doing chores such as mowing our small patch of lawn, but even that small chore takes him over 3 days to complete. My employer does not offer medical insurance, so we are without it. It makes it impossible to go to a doctor to help him get the medical assistance needed to 1. fix his ankle completely and 2. pain management. So he perseveres and does as much as he can.

Every day I have to try to get my 1984 Volvo 240 Station Wagon running so I can get to work that day. When I try to pull out onto the highway to go to work it bogs down like it is under water. It takes crossed fingers, prayer and much clutch/gas pedal manipulation for the car to pull out... and even more to get it to the speed limit. It is very scary because there is a blind corner that people speed around regularly and I'm just waiting for the day I get hit trying to pull out. Unfortunately we don't know what is wrong with it and do not have the ability to take it to a mechanic to see if they can do a diagnostic, much less pay to have it repaired. So if anyone is willing to donate their time and possibly parts to get the car up and running safely it would be greatly appreciated. It is the only legal vehicle we have.

I am trying to do odd jobs around town as well as sell jewelry that I make online and at a little shop here in Newport. It is hard because most months no one seems to buy my jewelry and the jobs are far and few between.

What is really sad is I know come the middle of October we will be homeless, my daughter's dog, Kenji and my dog, Nikki will have to go to the animal shelter if I cannot find them homes. I know I would not be able to care for them at all if we have no home in which to live. As it stands now, I haven't been able to buy them dog food for a few months, and the Animal Shelter in Priest River does not have any spare food for them, so they eat what we eat. the good thing is they are fat and very happy and loving dogs.

If you can help at all, even if it is a little bit ($1, $5 or even $10) - if several help out a little it will add up to a lot; it would be greatly appreciated, and once we're back on our feet, of course we fully intend to pay it forward by helping others.

Thank you for your time and consideration... God Bless

If you are able to help you can donate through PayPal.

Please Help Me Leave My Schizophrenic Abusive Husband

Posted by Karma2678 on 2011-08-15 18:58:17

I am truly ashamed that I have to beg for help. That being said I do not know where else to turn for help. I am praying that there really are people who care enough to help others who are suffering.

I have been a loyal and faithful wife for 15 years. I've been with the same man for more than half of my life, as I was married very young. We have a 14 year old son and a 10 month old daughter. I would do anything for my family and I have tried for years to keep our family together. All I can say now is that enough is enough. My husband is diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic. It has been extremely difficult dealing with his illness, but now it has become impossible. I've put up with him cheating on me, lying to me, him having alcohol problems, losing his jobs, his controlling behavior etc.. etc.. His illness causes him to believe that everyone is out to get him. He believes his home is bugged by the government as well as his phone. He believes they are tracking him in his vehicle. He believes he gets messages from God through the television and radio stations. He is see's and hears things that are not there. Many times he won't have a normal conversation with me unless we go outside and he runs the lawn mower so no one can listen in! I have tried to get him help and he's been hospitalized and medicated, but it does not help all his symptoms. I know that when your spouse is ill you should stay and take care of them, but I just cannot continue living this way. He is medicated at this time, so he isn't hallucinating. What he is, is extremely controlling. He moved us out of the apartment we were living in after my mother died last year. He moved us in with his mother, who has always disliked me. She treats me horribly. He stays gone all of the time and I am stuck here living in a garage. He has the only vehicle and he controls all of the money. We live in the middle of nowhere so I can't even walk to a gas station. He has alienated me from my friends and my family has all passed away now. All I have besides him is my two children. I would love to be able to work outside the home, but its impossible to do so without a vehicle and childcare. He knows this and just will not allow it.
My only hope is that enough people will understand what I am going through and have pity on my children and myself. All I wish to do is obtain enough money to get on my feet and get out of here. I will then gladly work as I was a Medical Billing Specialist. I will take care of my children and myself.

What I really need to do is move my children and myself into an apartment which runs on the bus line. This way I will be able to take the bus to work each day. After some time I will be able to save enough money to purchase a decent used car.

In my area a two bedroom apartment starts at $550 per month and a 3 bedroom apartment starts at $775 per month. Before I can move I need first and last months rent ($1550 max). $150 for Electricity Deposit. I am estimating that I would need about $500 to pay for a U-haul truck and a couple of guys to help move me in. I also feel that I should not move until I have my next months rent, grocery money and a little extra for miscellaneous expenses ($1275). So, it looks like as soon as I can come up with approximately $3500 my nightmare will finally end!

The good news is that I do have an old co-worker who is in charge of hiring at a medical billing office in my area. She is holding a position open for me in which I will earn $600 gross each week. I know its not much, but I should be able to manage on my own as long as I budget wisely. I should also be able to receive child support payments for my two children at some point in the future.

If you have the means to help my children and myself I plead with you to do so. You would be dramatically changing the lives of three people in a very positive way. I promise that I will never forget any help that I receive and as soon as I am in the position to do so I will pay it forward.

Thank you in advance for considering my request for help.

In desperate need of money to pay bills and survive

I am a 38 year old male who recently became physically disabled. In February of 2010 I had to have open heart surgery to have a valve replaced in my heart. I have continuously had chest pains, high blood pressure, and other issues associated with my heart, since I have had the surgery. In August of 2010, I cut my big toe on my left foot off with a lawn mower and walk with a limp. I continuously have pain at the amputation of the toe and can not stand or walk for long periods of time. I have not been able to work since cutting off my toe. I applied for social security disability in October 2010 and it was denied. I have reapplied and I am waiting on the results. I have been asking family members to help me so I can survive. At the present time, I have no one that I can ask for assistance or anyway to get money. I can not pay my electric bill, water bill, rent, or buy groceries. I am begging you to help me, so I can survive. Please help a fellow tax paying citizen get through this difficult time. Any donations will be greatly appreciated.

FORECLOSURE IMMINENT Can You Please Buy 2 SRV Oil Paintings?

Posted by SRVpaintings4SALE on 2010-11-22 04:58:58

I have been self-employed as a Lawn Sprinkler Repairman for twenty years. The winters have always been hard, but the last two years have been devastating. I have a wife and a thirteen year old daughter.
I am doing everything I can, but it just isn't enough. I own a nice house on 4 acres in the country. I owe back mortgage for October and November ($3400) and my wife's Risk Pool Insurance Policy is going to expire at the end of November ($1700). Electricity and water are in danger of being shut off in the next week. It's really looking pretty dire!

In my spare time I like to paint in oils and in 2003, I painted two huge paintings of Stevie Ray Vaughn. I put in over 100 hours into each. They are both 5' x 4'. One features SRV Charley guitar front and the other features the SRV Charley guitar back. They really are awesome paintings. If you want to buy them I'd be happy to sell them to you. Or if you can just help me at all I'd appreciate it so much.

At present I need $6000 to avoid foreclosure and keep my wife's health insurance from being canceled. And it's three months before my business season picks up again.
If you would like to see the paintings, please email me at danfisher4484@yahoo.com.

In desperate need!

I am in desperate need of help for bills. I lost my job about a a year ago due to a back injury. I am trying to receive SSI because I cannot work, but so far I've received nothing but bad news from the SSI office. I have been doing little things here and there to get by, I've babysat, dog sat, pawn all my jewelry, sold my dog, sold my lawn mower, and small kitchen appliances, dropped out of college & tutored teenagers for a little extra income, I've put all my clothes I no longer fit in on craigslist along with household items I no longer use. I am in need because school has started so theres no children for me to watch, Ive ran out of stuff to sale/pawn. I've asked my family for help, but that got me no where, so I find myself here, sitting at the library looking for any kind of help I can get. I just need to get by for the next 3 months then I will be moving into low income apartments, but I'm on the waiting list right now and they gave me an estimated date of December 15th when I can move in, I am not worried about buying things for myself I am just worried about having money to pay my bills until then so I am not evicted on the streets or sitting at my home in the dark without water. I do not have cable, internet or phone, I had all that shut off so I wouldn't have more bills then needed. All I have is rent, water, and electric. My water bill is usually around $25-$35 a month, electric bill ranges from $60-$70 a month, and rent is $325 a month. So I guess I am looking at about $1300, I know that is alot to ask for but I am really desperate and I dont know where else to turn to. I am only 22 years old I shouldnt be living this way, but unfortunately I broke my back in a car accident so I dont know what else to do. If someone, anyone can please help me I will greatly appreciate it very much. Anything will help, if I can get enough money to just pay my rent & water I will greatly appreciate it, I can go without electric but I do need a place to sleep & shower, so the least little bit will help. Please? Thank you all & God bless you all.

Hi there i have my own lawn buisness that is just taking off. Just seeing if anyone out there would like to donate a dollar or two to help a small buisness owner. Your money will be used to help others get a job with me by expanding. I would consider your donation more like being an investor to help me help others by offering work for someone.

Help me "Dump That Chump"!

Posted by DumpingThatChump on 2010-09-01 15:58:58

I realize this is totally desperate, BUT rest assured that after 4 years of estrangement, I must and will use all contributions towards filing an uncontested divorce.

I am a part-time state employee and a Dean's List student who is totally self supporting(aka BROKE). But I need to get on with my life, and you can help make it happen! With gas to get there from my home 2 hours away, filing fee and fee to have the papers served, I estimate it will cost about $200 initially. No amount is too small and all donations are GREATLY appreciated!

Trust me, I know there are way better causes to give your money to.. animal rights, Haiti, sick children etc etc etc. And who the hell am I to even ask?! I got myself into this mess, I should get myself out, I know. At this point all my money is going to survival, and school expenses. Any little bit helps. I am usually too proud to beg, but there is nothing more in this whole world that I want than to be FREE OF MY EX. I have a variable second job as a temp, and I am looking into other ways of making money in my spare time, also at things like yard and bake sales, lawn mowing, leaf raking, etc too. I am not trying to sit on my ass and have folks cover my expenses, trust me. But any little bit helps. Can't fault a gal for trying, can you?

Happy New Year to Everyone!: I live in Kensington...

Happy New Year to Everyone!:

I live in Kensington, MD and am looking for an inexpensive single-family home to rent with option to buy. I am interested in a three-bedroom with basement and a yard. I could even be interested in moving in a home where the owners were long-term traveling. I have a daughter who is 22 y.o. We are currently living in the basement of my girlfriend's house but I was not aware until I moved there how crazy she was and we need to get out of there. After I first moved in, she informed me that everything in the house was community property. She has an immigrant man living in the basement with us who is not paying rent (I am). She just sprang him on us without telling us. I come home and my personal belongings are moved. He has been causing me trouble ever since he arrived. I caught him peeking in my daughter's room. He tried to sleep with me in my bedroom and I had to kick his butt and he has put his hands on me. He does not have a green card; I told the police but they will not do anything. He has peed on the neighbors lawn when he was drunk, etc. So if anyone can offer some solutions I sure would appreciate it. He's got the message and I have to act like a witch but we still need to get out of there as I am very angry at my "former" friend. She obviously does not give a darn. I think she is attracted to losers. Her man does not work and neither does his grown son. Bottom line, me and my girlfriend are supporting everyone else in the house who is not working. I just needed a place to stay. I am gainfully employed. Help! Thank you and God Bless!
