MS ruined my dream

Posted by daydreamer on 2012-05-22 13:58:59

I spent 5 years working so hard to achieve my goal of becoming the first person in my family to get their college degree. One year shy of graduating I was hospitalized and diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I lost my job and had to go down to part time due to health problems, and I no longer have the ability to continue on with my dream. I physically can not do it. My medical bills continue to mount and I now have $75,000 in student loans I have to pay back for something I will never be able to use. MS is an expensive disease to have, I wouldn't wish this on anyone. I am devastated and completely lost. I am out of options and money and each day that passes is bringing more stress than the one before. I am doing everything I can but I can't keep up with the collection calls anymore. If you feel it in your heart to help I can promise your kindness will not go unrewarded.

My family and I put our trust in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, when
tribulations and trials come I know God uses others to Bless those less
fortunate, but I just feel like..............
I CAN'T go on by myself anymore!!!!!... I feel like there is a lot on
me. My husband wanted to take his life, but I was able to encourage him
not to give up! My husband was let go on a job he loved, right before
his 90 day evaluation on April 3rd. It
took him 3.5 years to get a job, since both of our job losses in 2008.
I was a store manager at Sears and my husband was a warehouse manager
at Sears, we both made good money together, until our store closed. My
husband finally gets a real job, only to be let go from it for no
reason. My husband worked at temp places, but nothing permanent ever
happened. We thought since my husband was Blessed with this job in Jan
2012 that this would be the job, but it did not last(I still say it was
a Blessing whether it lasted or not.'..The Lord giveth and the Lord
taketh away)... we can't pay bills, get toiletries/necessities, things
for our girls, etc...The Lord must have something else in store for my
family:
Have been Blessed to get expedited food stamps, so now we can
eat...Praise God....Have three girls that have been through alot
their house taken in 2010 and had to move to a bad area, but Blessed to
have a home.
My husband said he did everything right...just don't understand? Girls
have no church clothes,
shoes, or enough underclothes, neither do I, but
I don't care about me...we were trying to get stuff for them gradually.
I'm hurt right now been praying and praying and asking for God's high
favor for my family. My husband is trying hard to find a job. God's
high favor will get us a financial Blessing, as well as a spiritual
one, and right now our spirits are broken. I would love to thank you
for all your kindness and giving. My family and I are also cheerful
givers, so I know the high that you feel when you know you have done
something special for someone, it is a great feeling, so I want to
thank you for being in the cheerful givers club....it is an awesome
place to be! If you do not have it in your heart to Bless my family at
all, I still thank you for being a giver, we need more true givers in
this world...Praise God he gave my family and I a giving spirit. If you
would like to be a Blessing to us, I will let the amount be between you
and God...we are GRATEFUL for whatever God Blesses us with:)

My email is mlab022@aol.com

My husband's and I anniversary is May 16th...married 12
yes!!!!!....Praise God!!!!

God Bless,

Help save my mom's life please

Posted by Gisl on 2012-05-21 16:58:34

Dear friends,

I feel very uncomfortable coming like that asking money to people I even do not know. It is the first time of my life to acting this way, but we are so desperate that I decide anything to save my mom. We need help of any good soul to save my mom's life. She is 62 years old, a wonderful woman who worked really hard for her family for long time...she's has a diabetic rethinopathy in both eyes and doctors says she needs a surgery as fast as possible to save her sight. Unfortunately there is no technology appropriate where she is living, so she need to travel to have a chance to get appropriate care. And the cost of the surgery is pretty much expansive that we can not afford it by ourselves. She already lost her autonomy and every single day is playing against her. This surgery is the last chance to save my lovely mother from blindness. I am asking your help for any amount you can afford to help us get this surgery done. I want to believe that all the kindness I would receive from you will come back to you multiplied.
Thank you very much for your support.

God bless you.

I have no other way to help my 6 yr old son and I. I lost my job and my car was repossessed over a month ago. I have less than 10 days to move due to eviction and no means to do it. I have no family left that can help us. I never thought i would be in this situation.
This time has been trying but I am faithful and hope that I will be Blessed. I do cry at night while my son sleeps so that he does not see my tears. In 9 days I have no idea how I will explain how we have no home or that he can only take with him that which we can hold in our hands.
If you are able to Bless me I thank you and please know that your kindness will be paid forward when I am back on my feet. Even if all you can offer is prayer for my son and myself, I thank you.

We owe 1,500.00 to Duke energy. I have never done this or even needed to. If it wasn't for my mother and children I would go without before begging. In this situation my mother will soon be taken out of her home and put in a shelter. She doesn't want that! We really need the kindness of strangers at this point because we have hardly any friends and all of our family is dead. Please please help us. I have prayed and cryed and prayed somemore.

Credit card and student Loan debt pileing up

Posted by Thatgraphicsgiy on 2012-05-17 22:58:21

I recently got out of a Long term relationship with a girl who was unwilling to look for a job. She left me ib this relationship with $19,000 in credit card debt, wrn i already have almost $60,000 in student loans that i can barely pay back. I was laid off in 2008 and had to take a series of odd jobs over the past few years before finally settling in with my current position at $3 an hour less than I was making. I am currently living I. My friends basement because adter taxes my take home is only 1200 a month. My bare minimum payments combined with the 500 a month I give them for rent and food I am left with just enough to stay alive.

As a practitioner of Buddhist meditation, I have a strong belief in the power of karma and losing kindness. I am not asking for a complete bail out but I have faith that there is someone out there that has te means and desire to help out. A large portion of my credit card debt was built up after offering up my car to help those in need, including my ex. If these bills were at the very least lessened, I would have the financials and to continue to help those in needs which is something hat I draw much happiness from.

If you Have the means and te desire to help me get back in my feet i promise you that I will return that generosity to others based in your example. Thank you

Trapped abroad with no money or family

Posted by mollieking123 on 2012-05-15 18:58:03

Hello, my name is mollie. I came abroad to run away from my problems and start a new life for myself. I have no real family back at home and nowhere to go. I tried to make the best of my situation by working hard, but I have been conned and have ended up with no money and nowhere to live. I have tried to get back on my feet so many times but with no money, no one wants you. I don't even have enough money to wash my clothes, and no one will hire me because of it (which I hardly blame them for) I have resorted to begging online as a cry for help because I see myself going nowhere in my life. If this carries on much longer I don't even know how long I'll be around. I am not a begger, I WANT to work for my money like a decent person, but sometimes life just stops you and you run out of options other than to hope and pray for the decency of other people. please help me, I would be so thankful and would try to repay you the kindness you would have given me one day and share the success of whatever I can achieve with you. I just need someone to believe in me. Thank you for reading.

Family in need of assistance please help!

Posted by StanzHelp on 2012-05-15 17:58:31

Hello Everyone,

I am writing this because my mom has fallen on rough times and I am trying to find ways to help her but am currently running out of options. My mom is a phenomenal person, she raised me and my sister practically single handedly after my dad took off. While she was doing this she put her self through a masters program and achieved her dream job! To top this all off she did this while diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis!!! Well that disease has started taking her down hill and now she is looking to have to retire early because her health is going down to fast, to the point I am very worried. When my dad left, he pulled the medical insurance from under her and now she is left with a mound of debt which she cannot get out of. I have been selling about all my possessions, taking additional jobs etc… to try and find ways I can help more but as I said am out of options and looking for any kind souls to throw anything our way to help her out. I appreciate anything that you can do and thank you for your kindness.

Fire took everything, but our family.

Four months ago, my children and I came home to find alarms, smoke, and fear. The garage next to our apartment building was going up in flames. Knowing that our family car was parked inside, our hearts began to sink. The fire department arrived, and seemed to have the situation under control, until cars parked inside the garage began to explode. The flames reached our apartment building, and it too began to go up in flames. From across the street, our family, and several others, watched our homes disappear behind clouds of black smoke. For the next couple of hours, fireman tried to put out the flames, but by the time the fire was contained, our home was nothing but burnt brick and ash. We thank God that our family wasn’t in the building, and that no other residents were hurt.
We have our family, but we lost everything else. Nothing was salvageable after the fire. Trying to explain that to my two little girls was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. You never realize how much clothing, food, beds, or a teddy bear, mean until you don’t have any of the above. With the blessing of a few local charities, we have been given some clothing and access to food pantries. With the loss of our vehicle, though, I was no longer able to work for my employer. I found another full time job, and am thankful for the opportunity, but I am making far less income now. We now live in a motel. It is close to public transit, and it’s a place to lay our heads.
Local housing agencies have long waiting lists, and cannot help us at this time. We want, so badly, to have a place to call home. My two wonderful little girls have taken this whole situation in such stride. They are thankful and excited for the most basic things, and it makes me so proud. They are what get me through these hard times. We are struggling to keep afloat, and dream of rebuilding our lives. To sleep in your own bed, have the ability to cook dinner on a stove, or write an address on a form, seem like such trivial things, but these are things our family can’t do. I want more than anything to make a new home for my girls.
Our family is asking for the help and kindness of others. We are asking for any help you’re willing to give, so that we can start to get our life back on track. It would be more than a blessing to our family. It would be a home.
