We are raising money to help Veterans and their Families that are in Need! Currently we are focused on a Navy family that is in dire straights! The husband is a Veteran who has just been released early from the Navy due to government budget cuts. The wife has just undergone hip and leg surgery and is currently disabled. They have two small children ages 1 and 3. They are currently in debt and have been living out of a hotel. They lost military housing a few weeks ago. Also their car has broken down. They are currently in Virginia. They were kicked out of the hotel and as of now they are literally on the sidewalk. They have no place to go, and they have no money. I normally don't ask for help with anything and this is my first post on this site I am new, but I am unable to work and my husband is a goraphobic veteran for those who don't know what goraphobia is it's a condition where an individual cannot be around others, or they will go into a rage. Unfortunatly from being in the Military for so many years he cannot be around others or come out of the home so he is unable to work. We moved into this house a year ago. The first water bill was almost 4x what it should have been for a small family of 3, and was $450 dollars instead of our $80 previous household water bill. We paid it, over the next 6 months, and made sure to use as little as we ever could. We've just got another one saying its $680 this time.
We think there is something dodgy going on. The house is old, very old, and the pipes are rusty. When we told The landlord he sent out his brother who is a plumber, and said that was the end of it. But we think he is not fixing the pipe because it is cheaper for him to just pass on the huge water bills to us.
We are a very low income family, we have an infant son, we can barely afford rent and food, and we have been given 2 weeks to pay or be kicked out. Please help, we have noone else.

Recently, I was kicked out of my parents house and dropped as a dependent. This means I lost all of my insurance to go along with it. I take many medications per day, including meds for migraines, fibromyalgia, bipolar and panic disorder, insomnia. However, the most important reasons I need my meds are for my endometriosis. I was diagnosed at 17 when I had surgery due to the severe pain I had been going through for years, and the doctor's comments were that my case was the worst he had ever seen - especially in someone so young. My most recent doctor acknowledged that I would need to have a historectomy early due to the endo. He also stated that I would need to conceive soon to ensure that I could get pregnant at all. I have been on Depo Lupron for a while but have not finished my treatment to clear up my endo. Now I do not have the money to receive the shots. I'm really hoping I will be able to conceive...

Hello I am an unemployed mother of two a little girl who is 3 and a little boy who is 1. My husband is now working 50 hours a week at dollar general but we got behind and can't get caught back up. This about sums it up. We did great for years and have been kicked in the face repeatedly by life. I'm about to get it back together with a new job and 50,000 shares of a new tech company about to be publicly traded on pink sheets.

Unfortunately, that's not soon enough for our landlords and we have received a notice to pay or leave in 3 days (Wednesday, May 17 would be the date).

We have had the worst luck with bills, no home of our own, and our family has turned their backs on us with living with us and helping us out financially. I have no idea what to do anymore. Please I am in desperate need of help. I just need to give my family the lucky break we need in order to continue with whats right. Please help me with this, I beg of you. My name is Nick and my family is having an incredible amount of problems. In late august last year we lost our house. My father left us a few years ago so its me (19), my sister (20), my mother, and my little sister (8). For months after my family stayed at a Days Inn trying to get back on track but it was a failure. No matter what we did we couldn't get out of our slump. Because of this we were forced to move into our cousins house in Brooklyn in late October to help catch up. This was bad because my sister and I work and go to college in New Jersey and my little sister goes to school there too so we were forced to drive back and forth every day. My mother works with the Board of ED in the city so it wasn't that bad. My cousins are truly terrible people for they non-stop pestered when we would be leaving and basically kicked us out a week before christmas because and I quote "they needed room to put up their tree". After we went back to New Jersey and stayed at a hotel in point pleasant which is where we are now. With much trying and hard work my mother fixed up her credit and we are now much closer to buying a house. We found the perfect one however we have no money for the initial 1,000 because we need to pay to stay at the hotel and my hours have been cut bad. On top of the at the end of May the rates for the hotel go up to 200 a night. My mother is beginning to think maybe we shouldn't be doing this now but know if we don't then we wont ever move forward.
