I am a 20 year old girl living in rural Kansas. I'm really hoping to find some money so that I may join my friend in another state. I just need $200 for my ticket. I need a new start. I'm from Mississippi, went to Oklahoma last year to see my mum, sistera, uncle.. started helping out an old friend/employer & one evening while fixing the boss' dad's computer for free, met a girl, love at first sight. Then, my parents got me to come back to MS to try out a job. I got the job, very enjoyable, $10/hr, but couldn't forget the girl, she was going crazy thinking I was ignoring her online, I was working & didn't check my messages frequently enough. So I missed her, she missed me.. I came back to OK the day after my birthday & we started our relationship. Everything was perfect. Then, she started losing it, getting stressed for no apparent reason. It turned out the boss had been feeding her meth.(this was oklahoma, after all) so we move out to be happy together, all december we just spent the money I had accumulated working in MS, then stayed in bed together until about New Years, when the boss came around.. we went to casino with her and started working for the ol' boss again, because my job search attempts during December had been fruitless without a vehicle or $ for transportation. So, living with the boss again, problems/drama came back around, my girlfriend would occasionally disappear for 3 days with no communication. I would worry about her, couldn't sleep, worrying/wondering.. we took off to Kansas to get away from the meth-heads. left everything behind, just took a few clothes & ewch other. Everything was perfect.. then my girlfriends aunt started feeding her lies and meth. Effin' meth. girls really get hooked on the stuff. so my first Valentines day was ruined because my girlfriends aunt fed her drugs and lies (i must be a cop because i wont smoke meth with them) and made her think she hates me. She also broke my phone in half and physically assaulted me, but I don't hit females, no matter how obnoxious.. I went back to Oklahoma to work with the boss. this was okay for awhile, but being depressed and lonely, having nothing else to livs for, i stuck with it, no matter how stressful. I was working(for weak pay, but i had free use of vehicles and a place to stay, this was Meth City, Oklahoma, after all - I was the only licensed, insured driver & trustworthy worker they had. I was hoping to accumulate enough funds to take a trip to KS and rescue her from corruption, or at least get her an android to keep in touch, but that never happens when the boss pays you then borrows it back. eventually, the boss' husband went crazy, thought everybody was supplying his wife drugs, or having sex with her, neither of which was I doing, but he kicked everyone out except his nephew, which turned out to be who the one who had sexted his wife from my phone. They were having a relationship, aunt & nephew, which disgusts me.. Anyway, I w(as kicked out as well, my grandparents wanted me to come to Florida to help, meanwhile, my ex comes back from KS with a boyfriend, i get a greyhound ticket to FL.. then the ex kicks her new bf back to KS, comes over needing a place to sleep & get away from meth. I give her uninterrupted sleep, feed her, etc.. and pretty soon we are together again. Nobody helps me get her a ticket to FL for what happened in KS, and before long, matching tickets are sold out. After a hellish, lonely journey in Greyhound, I end up in what seems like paradise, lonely, depressed. My girlfriend wants to get out of Meth City, and I've been trying to make the money with no luck. its been about a week now. My GF texted me how she is heartbroken and wants me to get her out of there. I need to fly her to Jacksonville airport, get her a ride to the nearest airport, and feed her, and I think it can all be accomplished for about $400. I do have intentions of repaying anyone that helps, once I start making money out here. All i need is about $400 to get her out of that drug infested town and out here to the country where she will be away from it all, distracted by lizards, squirrels, bunnies, etc. This girl means the world to me, she's had a rough life, and I want to make her life better like it should be. $400 will get her here to FL with me and I can take over from there, and when I repay, it will be more than was originally contributed, as it should be. this is "begslist" so: Pleeeeeeeease?

Hi, my name is Kendra Lynn S. I'm 22 and living in Kansas City, MO. I'm originally from Ashland, KY but I moved to Missouri in August of 2011 to live with my aunt and work for her husband. I needed a change and needed to get away from a life that was killing me in Kentucky. I miss it sometimes and I miss my friends, but I met an amazing man here who loves me with all his heart and I plan to marry him and spend forever with him. We don't have a lot of money but we are getting by, we're just happy to be together. I work 2 jobs and he works full time at a bank, but we're having trouble raising money for a huge step in our wedding planning: I have to declare chapter 7 bankruptcy.
I have $10,043 in medical bill debt from an accident in January 2010 where someone hit me with a 4-wheeler, putting me in a coma for 2 months and then physical therapy and rehab after that. The original bill was $200,000 for the medical costs, but I received a scholarship to cover 95% of the cost because I didn't have health insurance at the time. While I was in a coma, I lost my apartment, fell behind on payments on my school loans, and my bills were sent to collections. Ashland Kentucky is a small town, and we're kind of a small family so I didn't want to press charges on the person who hit me. But when I met my fiancé and we started talking about marriage, I discussed my situation with a lawyer to determine what I should do.
We want to be able to buy a house in the future, but with this debt the lawyer was afraid that my credit will hinder that. The lawyer was also afraid that since my bills are in collections that if I get married that the creditors would seize my fiancé’s assets. My fiancé doesn't have much, but we are sharing his truck since I lost my car and if the creditors took his truck we'd be out the $10,000 remaining on the truck loan and without a vehicle. I decided I would try to press charges just for the cost of filing bankruptcy, but the person who hit me was the sheriff’s son. No police report was ever filed. Small town politics are good in most situations. This is not one of them.
The lawyer tried to do what he could, but Kentucky’s statute of limitations for filing suit against someone is 1 year. By the time I decided I needed to sue, it was too late. So I’m stuck with a bill I can’t pay and it’s the only thing keeping me from marrying the man I love. My mother is a medical transcriptionist in West Virginia, and she’s barely making enough to support herself and her boyfriend so I can’t ask her for help. My father has been in prison my entire life so I don’t really have anyone to turn to for assistance with this. My fiancé’s parents have been very helpful, but they only have so much to help with and they can’t assist us with the bankruptcy.
Me and Trey (my fiancé) are paying for the wedding and the honeymoon entirely by ourselves, on top of keeping up with rent and truck payments and regular bills. Like I said, we’re happy and we’re doing okay living a humble lifestyle. Other people have it worse, I get that and I’m grateful for the love I’ve found and the life I get to spend with him. We wanted to get married in June, but at the rate we’re able to save towards the cost of filing bankruptcy, it could be next year before we could get married, and neither of us want to wait that long.
I already spoke to 1 lawyer and was quoted $1500, two payments of $750. Our finances are so carefully budgeted that and stretched so thin that we just can't do that. My fiancé has stopped eating breakfast and lunch to save money, started riding his bike to work and is doing everything he can to save money. We’ve set aside $300 towards the filing cost. It’s taken us 4 months to do that. We intended on using our tax returns to file, but mine was taken by the creditors and we used his to try to get ahead on our bills. So here’s what I’m asking: any donation towards the cost of filing my bankruptcy would be a huge blessing right now. Some members of our church have offered to assist us, and someone referred us to this site. I
think it’s a great thing that people are willing to help complete strangers out and I wish that I had the resources to help others at this time. We’ve already agreed that we will do whatever we can to help others in need on this site once we can start setting more money aside once we’re married. Unfortunately, I am unable to pay our monthly bills due to being hospitalized and current recovery time. Although I am no longer in the hospital, I have been off work for over 2 months now and I have long run out of vacation leave with my employment. As one may imagine my income to support my family and to pay our bills as dwindled away and the bills have been juggled and are now stacked high. I am grateful to friends and family for donating Christmas dinner and regular groceries and toiletries which have eased some of our burdens.

I do not expect my medical issue to continue for too much longer. I am hoping to be back to work earning a regular bi-weekly paycheck soon. Unfortunately, we are set back big time on the bills and I have no way of catching up on my own. I do not receive child support because I would rather have my son safe that see any money from a kidnapper. I have spoken to the utility companies and they seem to have had enough of helping me by putting me on payment plans and pushing back due dates of the bills. ALL donated funds will go to paying the household bills. i.e. electricity, gas, phone, water, and I would like to be able to give my son Roy a happier Christmas.

I am going to pay it forward when I am in a better place in life financially, I will help others in need as those who have donated to my son and I. Thank you in advance to those are able to donate and who felt it on their hearts to help us out.

Because of claiming 9 all year long, I see no tax return. I have NO credit cards, my car is paid off, the only dept that I have is from my bankruptcy and the money that has been owed to the utility companies. If we don't receive the kindness of others giving we will continue to be in a bad financial situation. I've been poor before and I know I will be okay, but my son, if I cant pay the bills he will have no heat, no water, small Christmas etc...

Roy is a trooper, he is a great son to have and I have always considered myself truly lucky to have him in my life, he tells me he feels the same. He understands that money is tight, we have had the "mommy doesn't have allot of money for Christmas" talk a couple of weeks ago, in which I cried and he was totally understanding and okay with it because "at least I have you" he said. No Joke, he actually said that to me! I am hoping that through this experience of asking for help, when this is said and done, that I can share with him the true gift of people giving and he and I will donate to others once we are back up on our feet.

I do wish there was a better way for you all to understand that this is a legitimate need, a financial emergency. My monthly bills are adding up to about $1400.00 which they are usually not that high but I owe some for last months bills too. If some of you reading this could donate any amount small or large, $1 goes a long way right now, I will truly appreciate it. I am making a donation goal of $2,000.00 which with luck and a prayer we will see half of that by Christmas time. $1,400 of it is for bills and most the rest is for Roy's Christmas and I have been sleeping on a broken bed for 6 years now so 200-300 of it will go to a new bed, but that's only if we make the total goal.

Just to get it straight, I am not looking for a handout, just a helping hand of strangers in a time of need when I had to learn to swallow my pride. Please help me realize my dream of flying and starting my own business. I am seeking donations to purchase a powered parachute. I will be honest. The powered parachute will be used for recreation and to start my business of low altitude aireal photoghaphy for the many farmsteads in Kansas. I plan to purchase a single seat model. Hello, My name is Sandy. I live in Kansas. I am needing help to get a new roof on my storage building. We had high wind and a big branch broke off a tree and went through the roof of my building. I am a 63 year old woman in need of help. I live in Hutchinson, Kansas. Well, for starters, I am only getting $694.00 a month disability to live on. Just trying to keep my head above water, and Thank God too for my Vision Card for Food which I am very careful on what I buy. Just feel like I should let you know a little about myself. I am on kidney dialysis and would love to get out and work, but after my treatments, I am so drained and have to go home and lay down.
Here is a few things I need help with.
I need some car repapirs first and formost, and not sure what it will cost or what is wrong with it for sure. I was told just to put it on a macnine to check it out would cost $65.00 plus tax and hopefully then I will know what I am looking at in repairs for car. I need my car so I can go back and forth to Doctor in Wichita Kansas which is about a 50 mile drive from where I live and to my dialysis treatments which is here in Hutchinson, Kansas where I do live. When I go to hospital for surgeries, I need to go to Wichita Kansas and I want my car in good shape so I can have other people drive it to bring it back home until I need to be picked up from hospital. Now, another thing, I have a couple of credit cards that I am trying to pay down and am trying my best, but the interest is so outragous it is rediculas, and don't seem to make any headway on that. I am only going to ask for even 50 cents, a dollar, any amount will help. So please, if you can see your way to help me out, it would be so much apprecieated. My first ask is for myself... My name is Josh and i recently moved to kansas. The reason I'm asking for money is because my car, a 1999 Toyota Corolla, has a door with a MONSTROUS dent in the door, no door handle, and no driver side window to boot. With winter iminent and temperatures reaching below 12 degrees I will have no protection from the winter elements. That is if the car even makes it that long. It is starting to run terribly and has 245,000 miles on it. Anything will help.

The second reason is for donations for the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. My family is living up there working as missionaries to try and help the Lakota people help themselves through way of our Lord Christ. They are in need of monetary dontaions for the church vans in order to pick the children up every suday for church. And also for toys so the children can have an enjoyable Christmas! I am a proud man who has worked my whole life to make a life for me and my family. I very recently lost my job due to downsizing. I have been a printer since the age of 20, I am 52 now. My wife has Multiple Sclerosis and Diabetes and hasn't worked in almost a year. I love her very much and will not leave her. I have been raising my three step daughters and one step granddaughter with just my income and unfortunantly unemployment with not take care of the bills. I need a good paying job or some type of helping hand. I was barely able to give my family a decent Christmas but it has drained almost all my finances. I am in a debt management program for our credit cards but with the mortgage and utility bills coming up it is scary what may happen.Right now I'm $3,000 behind on everything. I donate plasma twice a week for a little extra money. Like I said before, I am a proud man and only desperation drives me to look for solutions in this manner. I have never had to beg before in m life. I can't believe I have to resort to this tactic at the age of 55 years old. Exhausting all my savings.

Here is my story.. In April 2008 I was laid off my Shop Manager job for a construction company after 5 years employment.

Shortly after I was only able to secure a Desk Clerk job at a old run down former Holiday Inn, here in Salina, KS.with a room as part of the compensation. After 2 years of employment there they had a infestation of bed bugs and the owner wouldn't do anything about it and I was really ate up by them, didn't know why I had bites all over me until I visited the emergency room. Upon returning to work I asked the owner to pay the hospital emergency room bill of $380. He said he would but still hasn't done so after presenting the bill to him.

I was able to get $106. a week unemployment though which put me living out of my 1989 Jeep pickup that I had. I built a box on the back that I cared my positions and slept in a Wal-Mart parking lot. I put ads on craigslist for house painting and got very few jobs but once in a while I could get a room so I could clean up and get some relief from the heat that summer sometimes hitting 106 degrees.

Finally August 5,2010 I found a job at a Car Detail shop and was able to get a cheap motel room. This is hard work now for a 55 year old man, but I persisted even though finding out the owner was a drunk. I came in on pay day one day in September only to be fired because he didn't have the money to pay the help. Even after filing a complaint with the Kansas Labor board he has managed to avoid payment.

Then I meet a man that had an old house for sale that was willing to help me out and I was able to make a deal to buy the small home for $2500. , $500. and $100. a month till paid for. No gas , No electric, No Water, it was a wreck none the less a shelter for the winter coming up. I put a ad on craigslist to sell my truck so I could make the deal and within a week a couple had purchased my truck and I was able to make the down payment and moved the few things I had left in and make a bed. The neighbors were nice people and insisted on running a electric cord through the window so I would have lights and I had a little electric heater to stay warm.

I was still running the ad on craigslist for painting and through the grace of god got a pretty good painting job that netted me $1300. After waiting 4 weeks to get paid for that job ( the company said the check was buried under paperwork on his desk when I called the day before Thanksgiving wondering why I hadn't received the check) right..

Any way I paid the payments up till February 2011

In November the city heard I was living in the house with out electric, gas and water and sent me a notice and posted a notice to vacate the premises with in 30 days or be fined $500. I called them and said I was working on it and they gave me till December to have it up to code and inspected for $150 city fee. I didn't know what to do but kept applying for jobs and praying for someone to call and have some painting done. A friend of mine was a electrician and came over and told me what I need to pass the electric inspection. I called around and there was one company that would do all the inspection so I scheduled the inspections and passed the electric December 24 2011 and I called to have it turned on and they couldn't do it till the 26th, all gone for holiday. The gas line was a different story, the plumbing company spent two day correcting the problem and left me with a bill of $1400. that I have only been able to pay $40. on.

A 50 year old man I had made friends with Russ, while working the motel told me he had to quit work because he
was dying from hepatitis and didn't know what he was going to do, he had been homeless while I was for a while, so I told him he could move in 2nd week of February 2011, he was waiting on unemployment and should be coming in any time now, But the motel wouldn't let him stay with out paying.

He did get a good size unemployment back payment and 2 days before the utilities were to be disconnected we got the utilities and the house payment caught up.

Because of the unemployment he was getting SRS has cut off his and my food assistance and he has been denied disability and has to get a lawyer to handle it. I have been applying to every job and submitting my resume to every job online and in the local paper with not 1 interview. I do have a company that said they will call me as soon as they get some work themselves.

Russ my roommate will get to were they have to extract the water that builds up around his organs. The Dr said he has anywhere from 1-2 years to live and I would like to make him as comfortable as possible. I cook all the meals and take him to Dr appointments and to pick up his medication.

The gas is all ready going to be shut off this next week because we missed a payment on the cold weather agreement and now owe $689.35

My problem started in July 2010. I was involved in an auto accident. I rear-ended a woman, who in turn rear-ended the person in front of her. The reason it happened was that the person in front of me hit their gas and got over to an open spot in the lane to my left. This move was so fast I didn't have room to either side and I saw the reason that driver moved was the cars in front of him or her were at a dead stop. We were traveling uphill so I was unable to see past the car and I had no idea people were stopped. I had less than a second to hit my brakes. Luckily no body was injured.

Here is where the story gets ugly. My mom had paid my auto insurance but she lost her job so I started to pay the premiums. I told my insurance agent to automatically deduct the premium and I gave her my bank information. So I was under the impression I had insurance. I did not. The agent only charged me for one month's premium and never set up the automatic deduction. Great. But there seemed to be a silver lining...the two other vehicles involved in the accident drove away before the police arrived. I did not get a ticket, I was completely sober and cooperative, and the police were surprised two victims of an accident would just drive away. Both parties got all of my information, they drove away before I got theirs. At the time of the accident I wasn't worried because I thought I had insurance.
When I called my agent I was informed that my policy lapsed because I hadn't paid my monthly premium.

I was curious if the fact that both of these people drove away would take the heat off of me. The police thought this was possible, after all, how can they prove they didn't smash up their vehicles further after they drove away to get more insurance money?

It gets worse. I left my job a few years ago because I had a job all but promised to me in Denver. Obviously, I didn't get the job in Denver. Not sure why, I aced the interview. So with no steady income (I was used to making about 42k yearly) I held hope I'd land a good job and had no choice to but to survive on a credit card for food and gas. That good job never came along. I ended up working overnights as a nurse assistant in the mental health unit. I've been drowning in debt, I had to get a car from what some consider a predatory lending car lot. I lost the hospital job in April for 'misconduct' (I worked nights and someone reported that I was sleeping, I wasn't but they didn't believe me so now I don't qualify for unemployment.) So, no income to pay for that vehicle and it got repossessed. But the best part is I got a letter in January 2011 stating that I owe one of the parties involved in the accident around 5k. I don't have it. If I had the money I would write both of the drivers involved in that accident fat checks right now, but I simply do not have the resources. The letter from the state dept of transportation stated that my license would be suspended unless I came up with the money. So I called the agency, and from my conversation with the state employee it sounded like my case would be reviewed. Nope. A collection agency sent me a letter saying in total I owe nearly 35k for the two cars and my credit cards.

In February I was on my way to a friend's house and I was pulled over because my temp tags were expired. The officer ran my license and I was handcuffed and taken to jail. I have never been arrested, and my driving record is excellent. The officer even thought it was silly. Regardless, now I have a court date in early July and I have the public defender taking my case. He said I either need to pay $1000 fine, or spend a minimum of 2 days in jail. So it looks as if I will be in jail at least 2 days because I have no money. Being without a vehicle is no picnic. My job search is limited to places on a bus route close to my home in Kansas City. I have no friends or family with that kind of money. I am not a drug addict, or a criminal. My career tanked, and I've kept falling through the cracks. I stay positive and I love life, but the anxiety and absence of pride in my life are making me isolate more. I can't afford to do anything. Luckily my brother is letting me stay in a spare room at his place or I may be homeless. I am a hard worker, I have a bachelor's degree, and I am a pleasant person to work with. But I have no car, no money, horrible credit, and bleak job prospects. Please do not think I feel sorry for myself. I've made stupid decisions that got me where I am. I take responsibility for putting myself in situations where these things happened. And especially for not paying attention to my financial obligations (the insurance premium). That being said, all I can do is look forward and do the best I can to get back on my feet. At this moment I feel like a wet puppy who is trying unsuccessfully to jump out of the tub during a bath. I need help. I don't know who to turn to. I've wanted to volunteer at some places to meet people and network but without a vehicle and a suspended license I can't even volunteer at most places. Please, if anyone can help, contact me with suggestions. I desperately need to file for bankruptcy but that costs around 1,800.00 and I can't afford that.

I also have around 27k in student loan debt. That debt along with the approximately 35k in unsecured debt leaves me with a very large amount of money that I have no realistic chance of paying back. The student loans will not be affected if I file for bankruptcy. Which is fine. As a matter of pride and doing what is right I don't like that my debts can simply be written off, but that is seemingly my only option. I would love to volunteer for a charity of my debtor's choosing to start to contribute something, but that proposal often times ends up sounding like a mutated version of indentured servitude.

I apologize for the rambling. This is the first time I have ever written all of this down at once and I feel better.

I am looking for any donations I can get to support a lengthy stay in the Joplin Missouri area to help with the Tornado clean up. I just lost my job for not willing to comply with their illegal practices and strive to always do the right thing, no matter what or how it may set me back. Anyway, I have contacted the Red cross,and United way, yet these services are so inundated with what has happened that I think I have gotten lost in their system after letting them know I am available. I also signed up with "show me response" Which is a organization that uses medical professionals that want to volunteer. I am a Licensed EMT and worked on a ambulance service for 8 years so I hope they can utilize me somewhere, yet have had no response from them as of yet either.

After losing my job and the impact of the economy the last few years I have virtually lost everything I have. I currently have nothing, no car, no home (staying in a hotel) and soon no money. Instead of feeling sorry for myself and my situation I want go to Joplin and help those who have lost everything too. I lost mine over time they lost theirs in minuets. In Joplin the still standing hotels are sold out, the remaining people and volunteers are staying in tents in peoples yards. I did make contact with a lady who offered for me to camp in her yard, but I have no tent. So my purpose of being on here is just to ask some kind hearted people who may not have the option of going to Joplin on their own to help, to sponsor me to get there and get the few things I need so I can help the people who need it.

This is not a scam and am not using this disaster for personal gain through this site, and if anyone has done that or trying to do that just remember God and Karma will someday hold you accountable!! Please help me with my cause if you can:) Thank you. PS if I get enough people to sponsor me to go there, I will email them on a weekly basis of my progress there, as well as try to send photos of whats going on with the clean up. I'm in need of $1000 asap... I am moving to Kansas City KS from Columbia MO to start a new job on Tuesday, August 3. Yesterday my car decided that she didn't want to run any more. It turns out that I need a new catalytic converter and a new O2 sensor, which I don't have the money for because all my 'spare' money has gone toward paying deposits and other moving expenses. I would hate to miss my first day of work at a new job in a new city because I don't have transportation. My plan, should someone be kind enough to grant this loan, would be to spend a part of it on renting a car, while my car is being worked on during the week, and come back to Columbia next weekend (8/8-8/9) to pick up my car and drop off the rental car. And of course the rest would go towards repairs. Hello, I am 25 years old. I attend The Art Institute of Pittsburgh online full-time and I also have a full-time job working at Lake Mary Center (www.lakemaryctr.org) where I am a Direct Support Professional for Children Services.

My wife and I recently moved to Kansas City, Kansas from Cincinnati, Ohio in order to take care of her grandparents who are in ill health. We have left our support circle (ie: friends and family). We do not have a car to go to and from work, I have to take a taxi and my school requires me to have a laptop computer for classes. I would like to ask for help with these two things.
