Post a Beg Now!

Facing eviction

Posted by KatRob on 2012-05-15 08:58:44

I never thought that I would be in this position but I am begging and crying for help.

I am a retired military service member, my daughter is a 9 year honorable discharged veteran. We share a home with her 2 daughters.

Due a tax lien I was unable to pay my rent for April and now May.

Neither my daughter nor myself seems to qualify for all the vet assistance programs because we did not deploy to areas such as Iraq or Afganistan. We stayed home and took care of the family members of the personnel that did.

It hurts not to be able to take care of my family as I should.

Is there anyone out there that can please help.

Thank you for listening

Please help my family

I am in danger of losing my house. My husband is having difficulty finding a job since coming home from Iraq. The VA is full of dead ends and nothing with potential. Our daughter just turned 4 and right now we have to put her in day care so I can work and my husband to go to school and look for a job. We need help, we are about to lose our house if we can't pay our bills this month. I am at a loss as to where to turn. I need your help. Thank you...

Divorce wiped me out!

Posted by treadingwater on 2012-04-05 12:58:13

Hello! Here's my story...

A few years ago, right after I returned from Iraq and got out of the Army, my wife filed for divorce and took our daughter to another State. I was left with the house and steadily increasing credit card debt as I tried to pay my bills and keep up with child support and alimony. Finally I couldn't do it anymore, and had to declare Chapter 13 bankruptcy. The bank forclosed on my home and the court assigned me a monthly bankruptcy payment. I've been able to stop the massive slide into deeper debt thanks to the bankruptcy, but am still barely keeping my head above water. Every month is still a struggle to make ends meet. I basically get two chances to see my daughter per year, one month in the summer and once at Christmas. Last Christmas I couldn't even afford a plane ticket to see my little girl, which really hurt, and I have no idea how I'm going to come up with the money to see her this summer.

Any donations will be greatly appreciated, and someday I promise to pay it forward. God bless.

Veteran needs help

Posted by VetneedsHelp on 2012-03-17 20:58:18

Hi,

My wife cheated on me while I was in Iraq on my last deployment, took all my money I made over there and left me with nothing. Additionally, I had a pretty bad accident after I got out of the Army and Tricare refused to cover the bill even though it was a Perk for extending my deployment. Im going to college full time right now and can't start at my new side job until June 10th 2012. The disability compensation from the VA for injuries from Iraq will take another 8 months to kick in, and the money of the VA GI Bill which myself and practically all other veterans are supposed to recieve is delayed, again thanks to the VA.

I'm asking for just a few dollars that hopefully accumulate, to pay my Emergency Room bills, my credit card and keep me surviving until I start my new job and the VA finally gets its act together.

Thank you

US Vet Looking for help with lawyer charges

Posted by chazman125 on 2012-01-12 11:58:59

Hello my name is charles shephard and Im a Iraq vet with severe PTSD and bipolar disorder. I have had a very hard life since coming back from Iraq. When I came back from Iraq they didn't send me to a mental health specialist. I'm fighting the VA right now for disability. They are telling me that I need to get a lawyer and get ALL my paper work together showing that I have PTSD and Bipolar because of the Army. I need help with paying a lawyer to help me with my case. My doctors already said I can NOT work at all. I have a severe mental condition that keeps me from working. The Army messed me up in the head. And I didn't even know what PTSD was until 2 years ago. The WHOLE military gets tested for any type of mental conditions that they get while serving over seas. Back in 2003 they did not. This is there fault and they wont help me with a lawyer. I need at least 500 dollars for a good lawyer. Anyone that can would be great. I hate staying home every day in fear because I can not handle seeing anyone else but my wife. I have flash backs all the time and I really don't want to live in fear of the outside work. Any help would be appropriated.

My name is Tammy, I have a daughter at home and twins on the way. We use to live in a community for women and children only that were involved in sexual/physical abuse. My daughter was sexually abused by 3 men. We lived there for 8yrs and when I thought I was stable enough to move on we moved out! My 23yr old son passed away on Jan 7, 2011 after suffering for 2 long yrs and my 21yr old daughter just got back from Iraq and is looking for a place. The father of my twins, well lets just say he was a mistake. I am unemployed and looking for work, but I am also a high risk pregnancy and many dont want to hire because of that. We are going to be homeless on the 23rd of Dec, 2011 and our electric to be turned off also. I am so desperate and beg for someone to help my family. The total I need to come up with to pay the bills is $1149.00 and thats all late charges, rent and past rent, and the utilities. In the Name of Jesus, I ASK; SEEK; and KNOCK, so the doors shall be open!! God Bless All Who Open Their Hearts To Help My Family!!

Please help my family go home for a White Christmas

Posted by srl424 on 2011-11-11 23:58:28

I am a graduate student barely making ends meet. I am married with one child. My husband and I don't mind being poor. It builds character. However, my grandmother died a month ago and I wasn't able to go home for her funeral because of the cost and school commitments. Also my husband's brother just came home from his 4th tour in Iraq. We would really like to go home for Christmas. Unfortunately, we cannot afford it. It will cost $1,200 for the three of us to travel. Please consider donating even one dollar. My husband and I both work and are active in our community and our child's school.

Army Vet, mother of three, and wife of an Iraq war veteran going back to school

Posted by mommagetstogotoschool on 2011-10-25 19:58:17

I am a 30 year old US Army Vet. I am the mother of three small children - all under 8. I am the wife of an Iraq war vet. I have been given the opportunity to go back to college to complete a degree I started over 9 years ago - all paid for. My husband has graciously chosen to sign over a 6 months of his education benefits to me - all that is needed to complete my degree in health administration. I am in need of $1500.00 to pay back a $2,000.00 debt to the University. I have $500.00 that I have saved. If you are able help, that would be the most amazing thing that has ever happened to my family. Thank you so much for reading my post.

Couple with 5 kids in distress need help! please.

Posted by warveteran03 on 2011-10-24 12:58:01

Couple of 5 are struggling extremely from lack of employment and funds. We are both divorced and have 5 kids to raise with constant obstacle to over come from our ex's. We have a total of 5 childern between us from our previous marriages and get very little to no assistance. I am a veteran and served in both operations against terroism
In iraq and afganistan I don't claim to be disabled as I have worked through my p.t.s.d. without the help of drugs from the v.a. I believe in self reliance and have always done whatever it takes to provide for my family but with the recession it has been hard in my area to find work. I go to college at my local college and I am using my g.I.bill to support my family which is not nearly enough to do as my Rm/Gf is unemployed but goes to college for cosmetology so she can better her life as well but has a semester or so left before she can get into a salon. I on the other am trying to get my AA so I can move up the latter to go to law school after my bachelor degree which I have about another 4 years left to do. We are in serious need of help our local community support funds are out. We are currently 4 months behind on rent and 1 month behind on electric and phone also kid expenses. I have been fighting the v.a. to release my education money cause they have made an error in activating my benefits for this semester. Thank you and God bless. If you'd like to email to discuss further details feel free to contact me at longrifle03@yahoo.com

Unemployed Army Veteran Needs Money Angel Immediately!

Posted by ArmyGirl on 2011-10-17 15:58:55

Oh wow, where do I start; it's so painful. I need financial help like yesterday. I'm an Army veteran with 11 years active duty, 17 yrs total active service. I trained National Guard soldiers for Iraq, Bosnia, Kosovo and Afghanistan from 2004-2011 during Operation Enduring Freedom/Iraqi Freedom. I've recently fallen on hard times and I'm about to lose my home. Was in the Reserves and haven't found permanent work yet since honorable discharge from active duty back into Reserves. I have filed for bankruptcy but it hasn't been discharged yet. I'm 20% disabled from injuries while serving on active duty and I'm diabetic. My disability check isn't a lot but the Veteran's Administration is taking money out of my disability pay for medication and copay visits.

I'm still hopeful though that someone can help me save my home, I need about $13,000.00 and it is nearing foreclosure. I don't wanna lose my home just because jobs are low paying in this area. I'm unemployed and don't have permanent full time employment. This situation hurts my heart. It's hard to ask for help when I'm so used to being the strong and independent one. Please help me if you can. Even a $1.00, $5.00 will help. My car was repossessed a year ago but I got it back due to filing bankruptcy. As of 15 Oct, I have -$38.47 in my bank. When my debt is paid down, I will pay it forward and help someone in need! Thank you for your caring hearts! I'm believing in a miracle!!

P.S. I'm not somebody fake from somewhere overseas like India or Africa hustling or scamming Americans for money.

loosing my house!!

Posted by me48653 on 2011-09-19 20:58:47

I don,t expect anything to come of this, but I was deployed to iraq in 09-10, got divorce after wife spent EVERY penny i recieved from my deployment. My mortgage was protected for a year after i got back (SCRA), but that time has run out. I currently am behind $7000 on my mortgage, have tried every loan modification, but i dont "qualify". I have been on unemployment since i got back from iraq, i did save $3000, which i was holding in case i had to file chapt 13 bankruptcy if they started forclosure, but i just had to take my truck in for a transmission rebuild, so there goes that. I am planning to volunteer to go to afghanistan this june, just for the money, but i think the bank will be able to take my house before then. I CAN make my normal monthley payment($500) but i just cant come up with the $7000 im behind. If someone is willing, I can give you the account number of my mortgage loan, and any other info you need, so I won't be directly getting any money. Thank You for your time. and sorry i let things get this bad.

I want to fix my life

Posted by kaber82 on 2011-08-08 15:58:12

I am a 29 year old female. I am also an Iraq war veteran and a college graduate. My life was going great until I graduated from school and I can not find a job. I have now hit rock bottom. I have no money and I just moved in with my extremely poor parents who really can't afford to have me. I apply for numerous jobs everyday and go on interviews multiple times a week. At this pace I am hoping to find a job soon. In the meantime I have no money for food, gas or anything. Any help would be appreciated. I read a few stories on here before I decided to post. When I do get a job and get back on my feet I promise I am going to come back on this sight as a donator. Sometimes we all just need a little bit of help.

Disabled Iraq Veteran Needs Help

Posted by JThompson99 on 2011-07-11 01:58:42

Hello, I am a U.S. Army Airborne Infantry veteran of the Iraq conflict. A proud man, I have never asked for anything that I could not obtain myself and most certainly thought that I would never have to. I left college and my dreams of a degree behind days after the 9/11 attacks and proceeded to serve my country as a soldier. I never dreamed that I would ever be injured at such a young age, unable to get around like others my own age. My wife had a very hard time dealing with the trauma of war and recently divorced me and moved back home with the children. I now live in a small apartment by myself with no furniture, little food, and no one to help. This week, my truck's transmission seized up and has left me without a way to go. I have no money to fix the truck, to pay bills, or buy food. I have always broken my back trying to help everyone around me, my friends, my family, my country...and now I am in great need of help from someone else. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. Please help.

A year ago I went through a divorce. My ex-wife pretty much walked away. I have full custody of my two small children. I kept the house and all the bills. She racked up tons of bills before the divorce was final along with lawyer cost. She has killed my credit. I am unable to refinance my home or truck. She stopped paying on her car which then got repossessed and went onto my credit. I am always behind on all of my bills. I have half the income now and more bills. I have to pay child care now which is super expensive. I work two jobs just to barely skim by from week to week. I just can't seem to make any headway in getting these bills paid off. I am currently going through counseling also for PTSD from my two tours in Iraq. This doesn't help because the amount of stress I deal with from bills, being a single father and Iraq issues is a lot. I am trying so hard to eliminate these stresses and just provide a good life for my kids. If any one could help financially so I can get these extra bills paid off I would greatly appreciate it.

I was a Medic in Iraq for 3 years at Balad Airbase. I was exposed to burning chemicals from their Burn Pits, and now have Parkinson's Disease from it. I have lost my home, sold my car, savings, sold family heirlooms, etc just to pay my bills so far. I don't want anything except my medications filled, at $260 a month. I have applied for Disability and in the long process. If you can help, I would help someone else in your name when I can. Thank You.
