And as a start, we are all young people, majority of us are students because we are starting out in a schooling environment, I mean that we are starting as a ministry on campus, university campus here in Nigeria, and you know that students hardly get good money for feed, not to talk about money to give towards the church projects which is very strenuous for them now at this level.

Now, we need musical instruments and equipments, and also, we need some amount of money to finance some other ministry projects, and all these are costing us money. The estimate of what all these are costing us is $800.

The Bible encourages us to give towards his work, in the Book of Ecclesiastes 11:1;
'Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days.’


This is an admonishment from God the master through the wisdom of solomon to us who are his children that we should sow our seed to the anointing as the waters used there refers to the anointing. The word of God tells us in the book of Psalm 126:5-6,

'May those who sow in tears reap with shouts of joy! He that goes forth weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.'

You see that? Please, don't think in your heart that I am persuading you with the word of God for personal financial gains. Oh no! God is my witness in spirit to genuineness of intentions by this message. But if the Lord lays it in your heart to give to us a token, whatever you want to give to us, whatever you have to give to us, then we will gladly accept it in the name of Jesus! Like I will always say, given to God is personal, so it is not a force, neither of necessity nor of compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver; as He admonishes in the Book of 2Corunthians 9:7-8,

'Each one must do as he has made up his mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that you may always have enough of everything and may provide in abundance for every good work.'


You see this exhortation from the Lord? God always want you give towards every good work. And the good work He is talking about here is the works that advances and promotes his kingdom.

May God richly bless you in this period of celebration as you give to us in the establishment of our ministry in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ!

I recently started up my own opera company and I am looking to fund our inaugural production of Cosi fan tutte. I am seeking funding within the region of $6000 in total but all assistance is most appreciated.
The action has been updated to modern day Italy, we have our whole cast and venue up and ready to go. But the dream will vanish if we cannot get the money behind it.

We have a performance target date of March 18 2012 for the venture which is why we are looking for the money immediately. This is the best date to tie in with our venue, the beautiful Makers Market at Abbotsford.
Funds include costuming and props, set design, hiring chamber orchestra and instruments, publicity, payment of director and music director, buying rights to specific images and creating posters and programmes. The artists, including myself, are NOT making any money from the venture and are giving up their time for free.
I am a highly motivated self-starter with extensive experience in both the practical and administrative side of the arts. In return for your valuable help I am able to assist you to get your own business projects up off the ground in areas such as data entry, copywriting, editing, proofing and the creative process. Or if you are a creative organisation or individual needing a hand, whether it be through performance or administrative matters, I would be happy to help you free of charge.
Additionally, my wonderful troupe of singers can perform at your next corporate functioning or gathering - we will even travel as a special thank you!

I never thought I'd find myself doing this. I've always been on the other side of the equation, donating to others in need. I have worked in consruction for most of my adult life, I'm now 58, and the daily wear and tear had caused arthritis to develope in my legs. Rather than continue in that profession and end up on disability and burden my fellow taxpayers with supporting me, I took the decision to start my own business building stringed instruments. I cashed in my retirement plan to get it started but regretably it's been a dismal failure. I am a small farmer. I am having a small agriculture land on the top of the mountain among other farmers. It’s impossible to take agriculture equipments and bullocks on the top of the mountain for farming, as we don’t have path to go. So unfortunately I and some other poor farmers climb the mountain with the help of rope to go on the top of the mountain to prepare land.

I use to prepare my land with my own hands without any instruments for the next rainy season. But now a days our rope through which we climb the mountain is been robbed by robbers, so it’s been very hard to climb the mountain. We don’t have money so that we can build a path to take bullocks and equipments on the top of the mountain.

Even we don’t have equipments, bullock and money for farming. How can we climb the mountain is the main concern now. So I kindly request you please, please help us in the form of your contributions. No matter how small is your contribution but please help me and those farmers who are going through the hardship. With your contributed money we can create a path to go on the top of the mountain and buy instruments and bullocks for farming.

I'm 43 yrs. old and cannot walk without the use of two canes. I have suffered damage to my knees and lower legs due to venous insufficiency caused by complications from a severe staph infection I contracted about three years ago.

I am asking not only for cash donations but I would also love to receive any donations of old guitars electric or acoustic, amplifiers, bass guitars (acoustic, electric or upright), mandolins, fiddles, harmonicas, keyboards, microphones, PA equipment, speakers, power amps, cables, eq's, compressors etc., mic stands, recording software, computers, anything I could use to play out or record a demo to get gigs. I am a college student living in student housing. I just recently lost my job from being laid off when Old Navy shut down here. When I was working my mom and I both helped with my rent, but mom cant support me and her own house. I have thought about everything I possibly can.. even selling my instruments which I play everyday. I have to raise 370 for rent this month.

Hello all. I am a musician in a band that is absolutely broke. I am not sure if i should be putting this under entertainment exept that it is for the entertainment of others. Right now we are using some really crappy instruments and have no means of recording. So if anyone can help at all it would be greatly appreciated.
