I am located in Northeast Ohio and in great need. I have been unemployed for a little over a year and am a single mom with two children 16, 13. Somehow, by Gods grace we have been able to survive. However, I am very behind on my mortgage and in foreclosure. I am waiting on a reinstatement letter from the attorney's office and believe the amount has climbed to about $13k.

The loan is with Chase and I have tried several times to apply for a modification, but I don't have the income to justify them giving me one yet. I went on a job interview Friday and I felt confident when I left that I had a good chance of getting hired. I have come close a few times, but came in 2nd for whatever reason (the agency's usually won't tell you). I believe that getting caught up on the mortgage will give me more confidence and I will be able to land that job and go forward from here.
