In Financial bondage

Posted by Deelc on 2012-05-23 12:58:32

I am in much financial bondage right now as my rent is very late, and ALL of my bills are late. My utilities are going to be shut off shortly, etc. I was just hired by 3 different agencies but I don't begin working until Mid-June. I only have a couple dollars to my name, which i'm trying to stretch for gas to get to interviews.

My bank account is in the red, so I have a large hole to climb out of before I can even pay my bills. I desperately need assistance to survive until I receive my first paychecks. Thank you so much!

Need donation to save my home and future

Posted by Integra on 2012-05-16 01:58:21

Hello, I've never done this before but, I'm desperate.
I'm 19 years old and my family is going through a divorce, my mother never furthered her education and has been a house wife for the entire 20 years they have been married and simply supported my dad and all his pursuits.

When I turned 18 my dad left for a gas station woman he'd known for maybe a total of a few months. Let me state he tried to have an affair with her, it wasn't till my mother confronted him that he said he wanted a divorce; My dad is a repeated cheat, I was never aware of this till the day he left, then all the lies came out of the closet.

We run a small chimney sweep business, the office is located at my mother's as she sets the appointments. She does not receive a pay check because during their marriage it was easier on taxes, they have decided to keep it this way and instead dad just covers the bills.

Now the business is great in the winter but we are in spring now and as you may already know no one uses their fireplace in the middle of warm weather! No they go outside and have bonfires. Now my dad is going blind due to diabetes and simply cannot work, we have hired a friend to do the jobs now while my dad just tells them what needs to be done and oversee's the work to the best of his ability. However, his reputation of leaving his wife and daughter for a woman he barely knows has
gotten around and I've heard the clients say they don't want business from a man like that.
My dad also wants to spend money we do not have, he is trying to sell an old sports car so we can put another work truck on the road, we don't have enough work to keep the one truck going we most certainly can't afford the regular expenses of another! My parent's can't even afford to legally divorce, and he want's a new truck. The one he has is fine, I don't understand why he won't use that money for bills.

Now any money I earn myself I have to give to my parents to help alleviate the burden of the bills, but what I contribute is not enough and now we have received the nasty call from the mortgage that they are foreclosing. While I hand all my savings to my parents can't save for my education, and being homeless will make it almost impossible. I've no famly or friends to turn to and we do not have a shelter here. I'm under the age of 24 so I cannot get any financial aid for school without a legal guardian to sign for me, and my parents refuse to think realistic; When I ask them what are we going to do? they say "Winning the lottery is the only thing that can save us." They have lost hope, I understand things are bad... but is it so bad that they can't help me get financial aid?

We currently need $136,000 to pay the house completely off, I'd love to have that, if you find it in your heart to give us our home I'd never be able to forget it. I'd be forever grateful and I'd love to return the favor someday so please feel free to give me an e-mail to contact.

To get us caught up on bills and me in school for nursing will take $7,000. we are so far behind and work is pretty much non-existent... My dad refuses to apply for disability as well.

I'm begging you please help me, I'm drowning in the debt of my parents. I've wanted to be a nurse my whole life and now I feel robbed of that chance... So please help!

First time for everything

Ok so I have never done this before and feel bad for asking about money but I am in desperate need for help. My rent($600) is due on the 3rd of the month and I cannot pay it at this time due to the crappy economy. I have been looking for a job and have had multiple interviews but no luck getting hired.

I recently finished school for Medical Assistant and love my work, but it seems everyone else in the field are more qualifed than I am. The only reason I am doing this is because of my son, we live in a great place and I would like to stay here and really have no other place to go. I have a very small family and my mother would of helped me but she passed away 2 years ago from a long battle with ovarian cancer.

If there are any generous people out there please help out, I will do whatever it takes to try and pay back. Thank you so much for taking the time and reading this. Have a blessed day

My name is Henry, i'm a 22 year old male and I am in dire need of money for rent and my light bill, I recently was in the process of relocating so I put a notice in at my job and the day before I was scheduled to leave I got news that my trip was canceled. Well my plan to go back to my job failed as they had already hired my replacement, I have filled out dozens of apps and no luck so far. I have two children and a wife who also can't find work. I have never done this before but I am getting desperate as I don't have much time. Any donation would be well appreciated.

Just Need $150

Posted by truthisbeauty on 2012-04-10 11:58:36

I am a bit sad to be on this site, but I have no other way of coming up with this small amount of money to get by. I pride myself on limiting frivolous expenditures and working to get what I want. After being unemployed for about 4 months I recently was hired at a temporary job that starts Thursday. I am attending paralegal classes at night to try and get a more stable, long-term position, but I have been missing classes because I do not have enough money for gas to get to campus.

I need $150 dollars to make it through the rest of the semester. This amount includes my share of the rent, gas, and food until my pay check comes in two weeks. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated, no amount is too small. Thank-you in advance!

Help Those In Need - Lost Job, Behind in Monthly Bills

Posted by ariso56 on 2012-04-09 11:58:14

My sitiutation is not uncommon. I was promised to be re-hired and my employer decided to hire someone less experienced than me instead. Leaving me with no options as my field of work experience for the last 10 years has been in 'groundskeeping'. And all prospective employers have already hired their crews.
I live 12 miles outside the major city and with the rising cost of gas it is almost impossible to drive in to seek work on a daily basis. I have been going in 2 to 3 times a week with no results.
My monthly bills are begining to pile up on me. My 1990 Jeep is in fair shape, though it needs repairs.
I have 6 weeks to get caught up and meet my obligations which now total $2500.00.
Anything given would be so very much appreciated.

Hi I am a mother and a wife going through an extreme financial crisis with my family. I know this is odd to put on here, and I can't even believe I'm doing this. I am begging and pleading to please deposit a dollar in my paypal account. My husband was working, and he quit to go to another job that seemed great. It was 4 more dollars an hour, the hours were great ect. When he was supposed to start, the "new" job told him, there was no work lined up. Needless to say he was very angry. But he just put on his happy face and kept moving forward. He can't go back to his other job, as they already filled the position. What baffles me, is that this "new" job is the one who called him and said when are you ready to start, we have work lined up. We were so excited, because he waited for like a month and a half to see if he was going to be hired or not. What happened was this new place didn't get the contract they thought they were going to get. They should of never called him unless they were positive they had this contract. If they would of waited, my husband would still have a job.I would hope this wouldn't happen to any of you. This all happened two weeks ago, today... actually. Ever since he was told there was "no work" lined up, he has been up and out everyday looking for a job. Putting applications in online, and setting up interviews. If you have a job, consider yourself very lucky. No matter what, your job is not that bad. At least if you have one, if you do. We have 3 children, and I am scared to death. We have passed due bills, the mortgage, etc. I can get more detailed if you request. He was supposed to start last Monday, the 19th. We live pay check to pay check, not by choice. Unforeseen circumstances put us in the situation that we are in. My husband had, and still has medical problems, and neither of us have health insurance, as many of us Americans don't. He was on disability for a few years, and he requested to be taken off of it, so he could work. He also is not any better, but he took that time to get all his surgeries, that did nothing, except make it worse. Prescriptions are expensive, we have to pick and choose what prescription medications we are going to be able to get. I'm not going to elaborate any further, but if would like to know the whole story, you can email me. I will also provide what evidence I can, so you know that this is not a made up story. I want to thank each and every person, that just took the time to read this, even if you can't help. I know a lot of us have fallen on hard times, I just ask if you could please donate to us, or ask someone that could. If you are able to donate please email, and I will give the email for paypal. I just ask for a dollar, in hopes several people will be able to help us. It's a very scary situation to be in. I hope by reading this, you know in your heart that I am being honest. Please consider a donation to us. I thank you all and have a Blessed night.

Financial Family Crisis

Posted by Oh_Me on 2012-03-17 15:58:34

We have used the last of our savings and income tax for food, gasoline to get to doctors appointments and interviews and childhood needs for our 2 little boys. My husband is unable to work and has been trying to get SSI for the past 3 years. I have been laid off work permanately because our business was running slow and it was estimated to shut down within the next year. I have been searching strenuously for a job and have had interviews but when following up they hired someone already. I tried unemployment but since the business is being shut down they are fighting nail and tooth.

We have no more income and we have been trying for government assistance and they have been "looking over our case" for about a month now.

This is our last attempt to stay afloat and afford food for our family.

Trying to Start a New Life

Posted by midwestguy on 2012-01-13 19:58:32

Hi. I'm a young man of 34 years, still single, but enjoying life. I was well educated growing up and studied business in college. I've had some recent hard times with the economy just as everyone else has. But I was prepared and was able to survive on money I had saved up. But that wasn't enough, I had to cash in my retirement account in order to still make ends meet. Being the business-minded person I am, I took a hard look at my finances and cut back on every single thing I could. But even then, my expenses still seemed to be more than my income. I requested my student loan payments to be reduced based on economic hardship and found myself borrowing against my credit cards each month in order meet my financial obligations. Now, I've found myself borrowing on one credit card just to make the payment on another credit. I did this just to stay current on my monthly payments so I wouldn't ruin my credit. My credit rating is very important to me and I don't want to risk it being lowered.

Right now, here at the beginning of the year, I'm just trying to get a new start on life. I'm wanting to wipe out most of my debt so that I no longer have to worry and be stressed about that day after day and be able to concentrate on the more important things in my life. I've started clearing out a lot of clutter in my life. I've gone through a lot of my storage boxes and getting rid of things I no longer need. I'm selling my car that has been giving me issues since the summer and now needs a repair that will cost over $800. I'm making plans of moving to another part of the country which I feel has a lot more opportunity for me. I want to get more involved in the lives of our youth. I'm starting a website which gives tips on money management and plan to integrate a monthly email newsletter as well. I want to organize local meetups for youth to teach them about money. I was also recently hired as a tutor for an online tutoring company. And I want to get involved with Big Brothers too.

I feel that making these plans are the direction I'm being called towards. I feel it's right within my soul. And I feel there will be many positive aspects to this later on the down the road. But the truth is, I'm still in debt. I'm still trying to work on my financial obligations. The tutoring company I was hired with is a new company and was supposed to be live in January. But I was recently told there were some complications with the website and it may not be until March or April before we could start. So that was income I was counting on that's not happening right away. Add to that, I'm in the middle of moving and came across unforseen expenses that I was not expecting. Having no current job, I'm trying to find ways of paying for those. And since I'm moving, it's kind of difficult looking for a job. And since I have no job and no income, I'm really not sure how I'm going to afford a place to live once I do arrive.

So, as you can see, even though I've been trying to make some positive moves in my life, it's becoming increasingly difficult due to the lack of income and the increase in debt I have. So it would be a great help if you're able to make a small donation. Then I can start moving forward and changing my life for the better. Thanks so much for your consideration.

Young, disabled, alone and in need. Soon to be homeless.

Posted by smile4kar on 2011-12-30 15:58:36

Hello!

I became disabled just 2 1/2 years ago. Up until that time, I was a full time teacher in the public schools. I can no longer work full time. Right after becoming disabled and loosing my full time job, I fell behind on my mortgage.

Desperate to save my home, I hired a law firm who promised to get me a home loan modification. Well, a year and 10 months after that, nothing had happened. So, I hired another lawyer in Feb 2011. I just found out last week that he only contacted my bank TWICE in the past 11 moonths. Now my bank says I'm no longer eligible for a home loan modification and that forclosure proceedings would continue.

I have no family and very few social connections because of my disability. Because of the scamming law firms, I have no savings to even put a security deposit on a rental.

My dream, wish, hope is that someone will pay off my bank and let me pay you with interest!

If that never happens, I will soon be in desperate need of help in relocating. I am unable to pack and move myself and know no one who will help. I also need to put a security deposit on a rental

Even after moving, the trouble has just begun. The bank was supposed to modify my payments to be between $400 and $500 a month for my 1000 square foot condo. A rental with comparable space and a place for my pup to poddy starts at $800 a month. Over 50% of my income!

I'm definitely embarrassed to even need to ask for help. I have no other options at this point. Any help at all would be GREATLY appreciated!

$10 left in checking account.....

Please, if there is someone reading this who is looking to do a good deed please consider helping me just on a one time basis. I was laid off over 2 years ago and cannot get hired anywhere. I have filled out applications and gone on interviews and no matter how well I think things went I still never hear back from anyone. I am not eligable for unemployment pay, my savings are gone and I have no family to turn to. The church can't help anymore as their contributions are way down and my friends are weary of helping me. I am down to only $10 left in my checking account. Please, if someone would help me to at least pay my Jan. rent then I can have time to figure out what to do next. $500 would be needed. But any amount would be such a blessing. Please help me!

Please, if there is anyone out there who is reading this and could help just on a one time basis it would be such a blessing. I was laid off over 2 years ago and have been unable to get another job. There seems to be 100 people for every job that comes available and they are all much younger than I am. I can't get hired for some reason. I just turned 60 so I am still too young to retire. I am a single/never married woman with no family left to help me. The church has cut me off from further help because the money they have coming in has gone way down. My friends are weary of me. I have no savings left and was not eligable for unemployment pay. If you could help me get through January it would be wonderful. $500 would go a long way to help. Or any amount. I have only $10 left in my checking account and on Jan. 12th when the bank takes out $7 for the checking account fee I will have only $3 left. Please help!!!

Please help me get inpatient treatment for anxiety disorder

Posted by evona on 2011-12-26 11:58:25

My insurance doesn't pay for this kind of treatment. I had a bad car accident, which resulted in a head injury. Every since I have agoraphobia and can not get out of the house to do anything for myself. I have hired many people to help me, but they have all stolen from me. I really need this help so I can learn how to live with this injury and take care of myself. any amount will help, but the goal is to reach 20,000 as the treatment is 2,000 per day. I will work as I did before the accident to pay back this money if some kind person will help me. Thanks in advance.

The church has told me they can't help anymore because they don't get the money coming in like they used to and my friends are getting tired of helping me. Now I have to turn to strangers for help. If there is anyone out there who could help just one time it would be such a blessing. I still have car payments and don't want to lose my car. If you could help me even to just pay my car payment for jan. that would be so wonderful. I would need $240 to do that. Please help if you can! Thank you!!

10 Acres for $8,000 USD

Posted by SchMasHD on 2011-12-21 05:58:53

I am 31 years old with a varied and extensive resume as well as a degree in computer application development (not that that degree is particularly relevant...).
I have found 10 acres of rural land in Alaska.
This land costs $8,000.
I would like to buy the land and build a year round cabin on the property, to live in year round.
I am from a rural background (BC = Before College) and have working knowledge of home building and can gather the required materials from the land and surrounding area for the construction of reliable, comfortable, and sustainable housing. I have done an immense amount of research regarding the accomplishment of my goal (to be independent of today's social requirements) and have formulated a bullet-proof plan to live a comfortable yet remote life away from the hustle and bustle of modern entrapment's and closer to the dream of our ancestors. I am willing to elaborate on my plans regarding the dwelling and the steps I will take to accomplish my goal while sustaining the creature comforts of modern day living.
In addition to my rural upbringing I am also a combat military veteran with working knowledge of para-military and survival tactics.
I have saved enough money to move to the property of my choice from my home state and have also provided for the tools, food, clothing and provisions(including shelter) needed to complete this project, the rest of the requirements of the project will be bought or shipped at or near the building location at my personal expense. I have considered every avenue required to secure financing and have been stopped by my credit alone. Really what matters the most to me is that I will have the opportunity to work for a permanent solution to my financial. social, and economic ills. However, due to my poor credit rating (Thank you 17yr old me) I have been unable to secure financing from "the man" and have been forced to beg of the internet. Please o' please grant me my life... That being said, in addition to the months of preparation I have done, I have secured the willing enlistment of free labor (in the form of an old army buddy) for this project. That being said, with my current financial situation I cannot afford to purchase the land for the cash asking price even though it is 10 acres at a fraction of the price normally requested for that expanse of property. What I am asking for is enough money to purchase the land ($8,000 USD). In return I am willing to spend 2 months every year (during any year) devoted to work for my benefactor for up to 4 consecutive years. Call it hired hand, indentured servitude, slavery, or [insert vague derogatory/demeaning name here]. What matters to me is that if I work my ass off I can be sucessesful. Please O please help me reach my goal. I am at your mercy o awesome and wonderful internet.

Hey everyone...My unemployment has run-out and I can not pay my mortgage. I held the same job for over 8 years and was laid-off . I am 46 years old and have had interviews with many companies each week but they haven't hired me. I don't get it except that I am over 40 and gay thus I know that is part of the reason why they would rather go with a 22 year-old they can pay less.I have worked since I was 12 and I have never been in this situation. The mortgage company refuses to help and I am scared for the animals I support .Please help me save Xmas and my house.. donate today..I am so scared...

I am not asking for the money to be given to me I can give you the account number and the phone number to the water company I am desperate I have been purchasing gallons of water from the grocery store but this is taking away from the food money, I have just recently gotten hired and am now on my second week of work but for me to get the money for the water it will take until after Christmas, I don't have extras in my life my gas bill is $10.00 and so is my electric thanks to HEAP, I have called everyone I know and the most help I can get is $50.00 from the salvation army. If this is something you can help me with it would be greatly appreciated in more ways then you can imagine! I have a posting on here trying to sell my ex's truck IT IS IN MY NAME so I have tried it all, PLEASE HELP again I DO NOT WANT THE MONEY YOU CAN CALL THE WATER COMPANY THEMSELVES AND DO IT.
