I'm sure that on this site you've heard every sad story in the book. All I have for you is the truth. My two daughters are 5 yrs old and 9 yrs old. The youngest will soon be starting 1st grade and the oldest will soon be starting 4th grade. My wife and I decided from the very beginning that if at all possible we did not want them to have to go to public school because of all of the negative influences. We do our best to raise our children in a healthy christian environment so they will grow up to be productive citizens and not "victims" of society. To make a long story short, it takes $6000 per year to keep our children in private school. This past year was a tough year for our family (like many americans) and we were not able to keep up our tuition payments. We currently owe $4300 for the school year that has just ended. If this balance is not satisfied by August, our children will not be able to start back to school and we will be forced to place them in public school. My wife and I are not lazy and we do both work full-time jobs. It just happened that we were unable to meet these payments due to other pressing debts. Any help at all would be appreciated and I'm sure that you will be blessed many times in return.

As I said I am sure you heard someone saying they need help. If you are reading this. It is hopeful that you are here to help someone with a request. AND I am more hopeful you have come to my ad to help me.

You see, I have been waiting for the last four years for what I call my turn. In that I have been waiting to find a job. Not much luck there. You see, I have this plan. If I could get as close to $10,000 as possible (I am willing to pay back anyone willing to help me-upward of twice that if you can help with all that at once). To one pay back as much of the $1,000 give or take a few dollars (or close to because I could likely get the company to settle for less. Then I will like to buy me a truck (heavy duty or a former U-Haul) fix it up, register it, and insure it my guess is something like $8,000. The rest will go toward buying a bed that does not have bed bugs. Get a new par of boots (which cost about $50.00 locally). Blankets, pillows (again with out the bugs), and some other little bits and tickets.

But if I could get help with even half that I will make it work some how. (not to sound ungrateful). I appreciate the time it took to read this. AND To read others stories. I wish I could get on my feet it might very well be a day I will return and help someone out on here to. But like everyone else, I am in need to.

Now in closing. I do not know if I am more deserving or not. But if you could help me, perhaps make it my turn. I will not let what you help me with pass me up. Please help where you can. Even if all I get is like $500.00 I could buy me a bed. AND those little twinkets. I was talking about. Every dollars counts. Thanks for helping me, and other people.

Hello, I've never done this before but, I'm desperate.
I'm 19 years old and my family is going through a divorce, my mother never furthered her education and has been a house wife for the entire 20 years they have been married and simply supported my dad and all his pursuits.

When I turned 18 my dad left for a gas station woman he'd known for maybe a total of a few months. Let me state he tried to have an affair with her, it wasn't till my mother confronted him that he said he wanted a divorce; My dad is a repeated cheat, I was never aware of this till the day he left, then all the lies came out of the closet.

We run a small chimney sweep business, the office is located at my mother's as she sets the appointments. She does not receive a pay check because during their marriage it was easier on taxes, they have decided to keep it this way and instead dad just covers the bills.

Now the business is great in the winter but we are in spring now and as you may already know no one uses their fireplace in the middle of warm weather! No they go outside and have bonfires. Now my dad is going blind due to diabetes and simply cannot work, we have hired a friend to do the jobs now while my dad just tells them what needs to be done and oversee's the work to the best of his ability. However, his reputation of leaving his wife and daughter for a woman he barely knows has
gotten around and I've heard the clients say they don't want business from a man like that.
My dad also wants to spend money we do not have, he is trying to sell an old sports car so we can put another work truck on the road, we don't have enough work to keep the one truck going we most certainly can't afford the regular expenses of another! My parent's can't even afford to legally divorce, and he want's a new truck. The one he has is fine, I don't understand why he won't use that money for bills.

Now any money I earn myself I have to give to my parents to help alleviate the burden of the bills, but what I contribute is not enough and now we have received the nasty call from the mortgage that they are foreclosing. While I hand all my savings to my parents can't save for my education, and being homeless will make it almost impossible. I've no famly or friends to turn to and we do not have a shelter here. I'm under the age of 24 so I cannot get any financial aid for school without a legal guardian to sign for me, and my parents refuse to think realistic; When I ask them what are we going to do? they say "Winning the lottery is the only thing that can save us." They have lost hope, I understand things are bad... but is it so bad that they can't help me get financial aid?

Okay so I over heard my mother talking on the phone with the electric company, they told her that if she didn't come up with 422 dollars by Monday, that they was cutting off our power. I have been asking for help from this predatory lender Rochester Home Equity which no one heard of this company. I have filed a complaint against RHE with Department of Financial Services and the reply was I can not get any help from them because my case is in court yes I know that it's been in court for 2 Years and i am not getting anywhere, I know that Jay Gelb the owner of Rochester Home equity is a millionaire, I just can't bet this lender and it's not fair that Mr. Gelb is going to take my houses and won't do a modification, and it's so sad that Mr. Gelb from Rochester Home Equity taking advance of low income people, I just want to know how many other victims is out there and couldn't get any help from anyone to help them before it was to late and everything they work for is GONE. My problem is I am being counsel by my lawyer but again it's has been a on gowning problem with Rochester Home Equity, all we been asking is for Rochester Home equity to TAKE my mother house off the lien that didn't have any mortgage on the 48 Homewood Ave my mother left me and my brother and do modification my house on 43 Twiller St. Rochester Home Equity is just giving us a hard time. As of right now I am debt with my lawyer for $10,000.00 that money I don't have because going to court and trying to do modification and we are not getting anywhere with this lender. I am so tried that Rochester Home Equity want reply to any thing that my lawyer is asking. I am a 48 yr old female who lost her job of 4 yrs in January.I filed for unemployment but Still have not heard anything.I am getting all of my teeth pulled thru a charity clinic that only charges $20 a tooth (but the dentist is kind and pulls 3 at a time for me).
I am just asking for $700 to get a nice set of dentures bcause I absolutly have a great job when I have my teeth.

I am sure you've heard all sorts of stories and this is a last resort for me but I figured I'd give it a try. I am a mother of 4 children with a husband who is disabled due to seizures. Last year he had 36 seizures in 6 hours and was airvacced to a big city hospital out of our town, since then he lost his job and was told he won't be able to work. I have been at home since 2001 and have had a very hard time finding a job here other than maybe babysitting here and tutoring there. Hello, the fact that I am writing this is making me realise that this has been the worst day of my life.

For the past two years I have been in love. A whirlwind romance which gave me a release from my miserable abusive upbringing. I moved in with this beautiful, kind, intelligent girl who I had fallen for. My parents did not approve and they saw her loosen their iron grip on me, she gave me the confidence that I never had to stand up to them.

I had to decide between my parents who had habitually beaten me, put me down, turned me into a shell of a person. or the only person that ever has and probably ever will love me. I chose her, and I haven't seen or heard from my parents since, part of my believes it was a perfect excuse for them to rid me of the son who had only ever disappointed them.

I was in dreamland, I was invited into her home and from day one it felt more like home than the cold loveless one I was brought up in. Everything was great for a few months and then she left a highly flirtatious conversation up on facebook with a man in which she was bragging at how many other men she had slept with in the past year. My life turned on its head. I gave her another chance after weeks of pain, tears and excuses. She convinced me everything was going to change. Three months on to that day I hear through a friend that she with another man in a nightclub the other day.

I am lost, I am trapped. I have no money. My parents do not care about me and the one person that I have ever loved has betrayed me multiple times.

I feel humiliated, i feel physically sick, I am mentally and physically exhausted. I have nowhere to go, i need to escape. If I leave her then I am homeless if I stay with her then I am bound to being abused again, this time not physically as with my parents but mentally. My heart cannot take this torment anymore.

My mouse is hovering above booking a flight to Amsterdam tomorrow. I have chosen there because of the large UK community. Hello. I am a 2nd year student, although this is now my third year at university. The reason for this is that I live with my mum, and she was going through some major finance troubles. I stopped studying for a while and started working full time to help with bills. Things are still hard, but at least we are not at risk of losing the house anymore! I am returning to University, and had planned my finances as I am working part time to pay for my studies. However, with so many bills, a hole, yes a hole, in the floor of my kitchen (the fault of my sister who overloaded the fridge plug, and caused the freezer to melt), medical bills, a broken car (again), and the ever growing cost of living, I have only saved $600 of the required $2700 needed for my fees to be paid by the end of the month. On top of this, the hole is required to be fixed immediately ,as the longer it’s not fixed, the more the rotting will spread further, therefore needing a bigger job to fix it. This has a quote of $4000 - mind you that is just one quote; I have heard it's a couple of thousand depending on how big the area is (from 3-4 thousand), but he said because it has effected such a large area, that they need to cut out beyond the floor boards to ensure the rot is gone. I have never done this before, so I am a little ashamed to say the least that it has come to asking complete strangers for help. I have really tried to save for as long as possible, but things keep coming up that have cause me to only save a portion of what is needed. However they need to be paid so quickly that I am asking for help to get the $6100 so I can pay them before deadlines/further damage. If anybody has any means of helping I would be so very appreciative; I really am almost in tears at this moment to even think that somebody could be so kind and generous to even consider helping me, like winning the lottery. I'm 20 years old, working as an operator at a machine shop just a few miles from my current apartment.
About a month ago, the president of our company announced that they were going to be moving the shop in a few months. He did not, however, mention that this would cause a lot of us to lose hours due to a lack of received work orders for our CURRENT location.
I already had a couple of outstanding loans from before things went south at work. Just a couple of hundred dollars for electricity or rent that I figured I could pay back quickly taking the shops pay rate into account. However, now that I've been going without more than 10 hours of work a week for almost three weeks paying my loans back is becoming more of a game of trying to scrape together my minimum payment amount while also somehow managing rent, bills, and food money. I've gotten to the point where I'm eating about a meal a day and spending as little time in my apartment as possible to cut back on water and electricity expenses.
The real kicker of this whole situation is that my lease will be expiring 3/19/2012, and I need to manage to get a new apartment before then. With the two outstanding loans, moving expenses, leasing deposits and application fees...well, it's starting to look like I might be living under a bridge next month...
Most people my age would turn to there parents for help, but I don't really have any such luck. Both of my parents just kind of jumped ship as soon as I graduated High School. Last I heard from mom she was using meth, and Dad isn't faring much better...

I've always been too proud and independent to ask for help... now I feel like im drowning. This is my last resort, I can't face the world with my poor excuse of a life!
The love of my life left me, left me with a note that said 'stay cool'. He had surrounded me with fake love and security. Convincing me that my best choice in life was to discharge from the military (after eight years of service) and be a stay at home mum to our children. I obliged. I loved him and I believed he loved me. I ask you, what would you have done??
So it turns out he never loved our children or myself. He left, never to be heard from since (eight months ago). I was left with combined debts totalling $180k. His not an Australian citizen meaning I am responsible for this debt. I have no income and two children. Is bankruptcy my only option?
Please help me, I have tried to stay composed and in control, I have tried to reinlist (not targets for fy 12/13), i have tried to find employment. I have a casual job, however I am not covering the loan repayments! I am begging for your help, please help me. I constantly ask myself 'how could i not have seen this coming??' but i loved him, i loved him so much. He was a professional on a good income and we had a family together. Up front, I take full responsibility for my current condition/situation, no other person place or thing is responsible for bad decisions I have made. And I have made quite a few.
That being stated, here are the facts;
Currently living in a car(read that homeless).
Unemployed, not unemployable but a very poor job history.
Stuck in a place where the weather is nice, but I really do not want to be here.
So if you have guessed that this is a plee for help, you are correct.
How did I get here? Years of practice.
I recently spoke with a professional, not in his professional settings, but of subjet matter that is discussed in his professional settings.
After some communications between us his opinion is that quite probably I am suffering from PTSD (Post Tramatic Stress Disorder). Something I aquired at the age of 17. 45 years ago I was involved in an automobile accident that resulted in both deaths, yes plural, and permanent disability to persons other than myself. Although due to circumstances beyond my control I was never charged with any crime, and there are no wants or warrants now, I believe the accident was my fault. I am willing to discuss the details in private as posting them on the internet could possibly bring painful memories to any living family members involved.
So for 45 years I have practiced the symptoms of PTSD so well that I have slipped through undetected. Probably in part due to the fact that although I am of the typical age of a Vietnam Vet, I never served in that arena, as I ran away from home just after the accident, because I was afraid of going to jail, that any draft papers never caught up with me. I was not afraid of going to jail because of being locked behind bars, I was afraid of suffering more sexual abuse at the hands of older inmates like I had already received from my sick alcoholic father.
So not being a vet and not discussing the accident no one ever considered PTSD, and they now know that severe trama of any sort can cause it, not just the theatre of the battlefield. Couple that to me not staying in one spot long enough for anyone to really know me. I have been successfully hiding in my head. As long as I don't get too close too intimate it won't hurt when I run away and lose you.
Severe trama it is now believed to stunt emotional growth. If the trama is severe enough emotional growth can in fact be locked in to the time of the tramatic event. So imagine being a teenager in a 61 year old body, thats me. Married 4 times afraid to have children. I heard on a radio talk show when I was very young that "The sins of the fathers where passed to their offsprings" and made a decision to never have children because no way was I going to do what was done to me to some helpless trusting child. This is one of the few things that I have been successful at.
The professional says I must discuss these matters, that is part of the healing process. So I am jumping in off the deep end, going online with my story in hopes that it will benefit myself and any other poor sod that happens to be in a similar situation.
Yes I am asking for help, financial help. Here with the help of the professional is what I am thinking, If I can find a few thousand lucky individuals that are housed and employed to give one dollar then I can purchase a used motorhome, put it in an inexpensive rv park so that I can have a base of operations from which to take showers on a daily basis, eat hot food and have an address to put on job applications. I could find some form of professional assistance either city/state/federal to deal with the PTSD for the long term.
There is help available.
And just to ease the voices in your head, I have not had a drink of alcohol or any hard drugs since 1982. I have used marijuana on a irregular basis off and on my whole life, I'll see what the PTSD treatment brings regarding that issue.

I had a pretty good life up until 2007. It was then that my partner in life and business(we had a roofing company and the bar) decided to turn to methamphetamine because he thought it would make him work harder. I tried for a year to get him to quit. I finally left him in 2008. The roofing company was in my name. Out of the goodness of my heart I kept it going so that he would have a source of income. Little did i know then that he would quit working legitimately(he did it under the table for cash) and quit giving me money to pay the bills for roofing company. I had to close it down but in the end my credit was ruined and he didn't care. At the time the restaurant/bar was also struggling due to the economy. I put myself on the schedule and cut my employees back to the bare minimum. I work along side of them trying to keep things going. I have a personally held contract that I have been paying since 1998. It was a lease option after the first 5 years. I rolled it over to purchase in 2003. I had never been late making the $3000.00 a month payments until 2011. I had to cut the payments short in order to pay other bills. Business was just down because of the economy. We live in a small town. We love to gossip. It was through this gossip that I heard that the contract owner(who doesn't even live in this state!) is going to try and foreclose on us. I have been doing this for 14 years. I have a good track record. I just need help at this point and I'm not too proud to beg!! I really need donations to get caught up and keep me and my employees working. I am so close to being done with my contract that I don't want to give up easily. I cannot go to a bank because of my credit and she will not refinance my contract. My only hope is that I can get enough help from good hearted people who read this and decide to make a donation. Hello. I have been in business for 14 years. I was doing fine until the econmy took a dive a couple of years ago. I have mae drastic changes including working myuself 40+ hours a week. unfortunately I got behind on some of my payments. We are in a small town that loves gossip. It was thru this gossip that I heard the lady I am buying the bar from is trying to foreclose on the bar because I owe her some payments from last year. I am behind on other things too. I really need to get this caught up. I cannot seek traditional refinancing because of my credit. Thats another long story in itself! I just really would like to get her paid up. I have never done this before, or even heard of a site like this. I am in desperate need of a lot of things. I have two children a boy age 5 and a girl who is age 11. I am a single mom who lost her job of 8 years. I do own a house but I can't even find rent for cheaper than my mortgage. My sons father left me with a mess. He started to remodel our kitchen over the summer then took off with another woman. I have not had cabinets, sink, stove I do have a refrigerator but that's about it. So even if I wanted to sell my house it would be impossible. He sold all of my old apliances and left me with nothing. I can't afford cabinets. I have a sink I could use and a stove but no cabinets and without them I can't use the sink I have. I have been cooking out of a microwave, toaster oven and one of those little flat top things. I am seriously onthe verge of giving up. My daughter is a cheerleader and they let her do this for free the second year in a rw for me cause she is very talented but she is supposed to go to Daytona Florida in a month and all mt credit cards are maxed out mostly due to eating out without appliances. I don't know what to do anymore I don't have family that gives crap. It would be a miracle to have something good happen to me. I can't be depressed for my kids anymore it's not fair.
