Help Me Please!!

Posted by HelpNow27 on 2012-05-23 15:58:23

Hello,

I have graduated in April 2008 with a Bachelor Degree in Human Biology. I worked in the Healthcare Industry for several years. I am currently unemployed sine my company went bankrupt and can not find a job that pays decent so I can make my student loan payments that are $670 per month and support my family. I have $58,000 in student loan debt the original balance was around 40,000 but I had to stop making payments until last year because I could not make a living at all with a $12/hr job to pay for mortgage and other living expenses. Sallie Mae is just saying that they can not do anything about it the only thing I can do is pay interest only and reduce my payment by like $200 and that is for 30 years. Please help me get out of this burden sometimes I ask myself why I ever went to school and if it was really worth it all because some of my friends that have no school are doing better than I am. I guess that is they way you live the American Dream!! This is just crazy that there is no law that protects students when they are in situations like this especially in a economic crisis. Please, I really want to be able to save my marriage, house and be able to provide for my daugther. If anyone is reading this and is willing to donate I would really appreciate anything you give. Also I understand that there are much worse situations out there and people in a greater need of help that is also understandable however I will end up on the street and my loan will go int default if I can not make the payment and I dont think it can get worse than that as far as student loans are concerned and Financial problems. I wish I could someday help someone myself or in any other way. Please people every little helps. God Bless! AJ

The main reason I joined the police department is to help others. Unfortunately, due to the economic downfall, I have not had a raise in five years and opportunities for overtime are slim. I am making under basic officer pay, which is not that much. In addition, cost of leaving, healthcare, lawyer fees and pension contributions have skyrocketed. Many of my brother’s in blue have lost their homes and even had their vehicles repossessed (yes at the police station). I have been lucky to keep my job and am very thankful for that. My wife and kid both had inpatient surgery costing me thousands out of pocket. Due to my wife having complications with childbirth, an unknown blood disorder, and debilitating lower back/hip pain, I will continue looking for a cure for her no matter what the cost. I love my family and will do anything for them. With that said, I have $32,000 in student loans that I am unable to pay at this time and I am at risk of defaulting which will devastate my chances of applying for a much needed car loan. I am asking for any financial assistance to help me pay off my student loan and medical expenses. It is my greatest joy to help those that are in need and yes even die trying. I am in desperate need of your assistance. Thank you.

My father was diagnosed with Lung Canger, Stage Four a month ago. He worked all of his life to support his family and has always helped others out. Two months ago he thought he had a pnemonia and called his doctor to set up an appointment. She failed to find an infection and refered him to get further testing. The test results came back that he in fact has lung cancer and it has spread to his brain, liver, and lymph nodes. The cancer also caused extra fluid to accumulate around his heart which they drained. He just finished his first round of radiation treatment and is undergoing Chemotherapy twice a month. The doctors gave my father a prognosis of 18 months.
My parents have a mortgage and many of bills that are currently falling behind due to my father being unable to work. He was approved for Social Security Benifits but there is a 5 month waiting period with no exceptions and therefore he needs to wait until September to see his first check. I tried everything I could to see if there was an exception and the Social Security office told me that I would have to talk to my Senator. I plan on writing to him regarding this, but I know it will take a while before I hear back from any of them. Seeing my 56 year old father in such agonizing pain is hard enough, seeing my mother in a constant state of depression is extremly hard and trying to come up with plans to get fincancial help for my father seem to all be for nothing because he got not qualify for financial help due to my mothers pay. They dont put into consideration that they have a mortgage and a vehicle to pay for and with all of the doctors bills and presciption costs; they do not have enough money.
I am looking for any help that I can get. Any donated money would go directly to my father for his bills and mortgage payment. It would also go to presciptions and doctors visits so that he can continue to get good care. I have tried so many ways to find a solution to his financial problems and this is my last hope. This will save him a lot of additional stress. If there is any money that anyone could donate, it would be greatly appreciated.
We also do not know how we would come up with finneral expenses and such when the time comes. Any donations will not be used unless it is for my fathers healthcare, bills or for his funneral costs when the time comes. Thank you for your time and have a nice day.

Hello, to everyone. My name is Phinehas, and I currently live in Phoenix, Arizona. I am seeking monetary assistance of $2,500 from anyone is in a position to help me. Unfortunately, I was deceived by someone that claimed to care. The result of this caused a deficency in the bank account that resulted in it being closed out by action taken by the bank. This money was used for working on personal project expenses, bus fair to get around to do various errands, and to buy healthcare products that would not be covered by any government funded healthcare plan, and is not food stamp eligible. Prior to my parents passing, they were my sole caretakers, because I was and still am semi-disabled and unable to work. I was placed in an assisted living group home due to not being given alternative suitable choices. Any assistance that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

debilitating mood disorders

Posted by rockmama on 2012-02-05 14:58:38

I am a single mother of a 3 yr old girl. One who just can't seem to get ahead. Or even even. Bills that are due, some being paid with what little I have are limited to the necessities. I am getting help from my state with food and healthcare and that is wonderful. But here is where my downside comes into play. On 1/28/12, due to (see subject title) I had to quit my job. A job in which I love, in a field that i love, that i still have (outstanding) school loans required for me to be licensed in the field. Hold on now, this does tie together...I quit drinking 3 years ago,(I am past my 20's if that means anything.) I found though, once I quit drinking, that I had been self- medicating for partially debilitating mental illnesses. Though I have been doing my part since quitting the drink (therapy, psychiatry, and just holding on for dear life), I cannot seem to get to where I need/want to be, to be able to continue to provide for my kiddo. My credit is shot, I wasn't approved for a car loan of ANY sort (CARHOP DENIED ME!)and my car is dying. The anxiety I feel every day when I wake up and find that I have to take 10 or so pills to make it through the day, and then still figure out how to pay for my car insurance. And rent and phone bills and electricity blah blah blah, you get the picture. My credit cards (in which I have to use to purchase clothing for myself and my daughter) are maxed. My little one bedroom apartment just doesn't accommodate for myself and my 3 year old. She has no place to play outside, except for a pavement parking lot, all the while trying to shield her from the illegal activities which take place around here. I am in the process of starting to apply for disability, because that is all i know to do for the time being. I will be applying for housing assistance, I gotta get out of this place.
I don't know whom may be out there, and whom may be reading this, I hope at least someone does. What I really hope, is that there may be some helpful, generous, kind and empathetic soul who might be able to help me with this huge anxiety ridden request for help. I have never done anything like this before, for the worst quality I possess is asking for help. Or lack of being able to do so. But, here goes nothin!

Hello,

As a Wish Ambassador for Wish Upon A Hero I am in need of DONATION I'm asking for $1 or $2~ stickers~ stamps~ envelopes all sizes~small toys~coloring books~crayons~dollar store gift cards~WalMart gift cars

No wish too large. No hero too small.
Wish Upon A Hero was first conceived by founder Dave Girgenti shortly after the September 11th attacks on New York City. From his home in NJ, Girgenti watched as thousands of people posted pictures of missing loved ones throughout the city. He thought there had to be a faster, more organized way to connect people in need. That was the moment in which the idea was born.

Less than five years later, Hurricane Katrina created a similar catastrophic event in New Orleans where hundreds of thousands of people needed immediate help. This time it wasn't just about locating loved ones. Hurricane victims needed everything from healthcare services, food, fresh water, clothing and shelter.

It became clear that Wish Upon a Hero needed to become more than an idea. Over the next two years, Girgenti exhausted every resource at his disposal to create an online community that offered a platform for people to help people. Working under the mantra of “No wish too large and no hero too small,” Girgenti created www.wishuponahero.com, which launched in September 2007. This is a one of a kind service designed to connect those in need with people that can truly change their lives!

Due to the economic environment I was let go and my old job already replaced me. Im on unemployment. If I can move to a bigger city, like near los angeles (I have a free place to stay) then I will never be without a job. Currently I volunteer my time with hospice and driving seniors to their doctor appts and errands. My car is old but paid for I need auto repairs in the amount of 2,000; dental work 800; Relocation expenses to move to California 6000; and a job masters degree in healthcare in san fernado valley California I have a paypal account or you can send the money directly to the vendors in kind to me. My dad is a retired veteran from Vietnam era, he works for above minimum wage and I live with him currently. He gets his retirement too but he needs a new fence for his house, I helped with all thee renovations but being unemployed I can offer the labor but the materials are about $2500.00 or $4500 installed he would never ask for a handout but he also needs extensive dental work and replace his implants front teeth from 40 years ago from accident his smile means everything to me. With that said once im able to get back on my feet and return to work, I will be able to help others too! Thankyou for any assistance you can provide in these matters .

HELP ME CARE FOR YOU INTHE FUTURE!
Dearest Community Member, Business Owner, and Friend,
I am a United States citizen, born in California, and raised in beautiful Orange County. I have been a full time student at Santa Ana College for the past two years. At the same time I have maintained full time employment. I also volunteer at St. Joseph Hospital located in the city of Orange. In addition, I have had the pleasure of donatingmy time on the Labor Day weekends at the Orange Street Fair to help students of El Modena High School raise funds for their specific causes. Upon earning my Associates Degree, I have taken the leap toward accomplishing my goal and desire to work asa nurse in the healthcare industry. I am currently attending Pacific College located in Costa Mesa with the goal of becoming a nurse. Becoming a nurse takes an enormous amount of hard work and dedication. I have what it takes in my heart and soul to accomplish this task. What I lack are the funds to make the monthly payments for the next two years while attending school and working full time to keep a roof over my head. The tuition for this school is$28,500.00. My student loans max out at$20,500.00. I’m looking for a way to come upwith the $8000.00 needed to bridge the gap.For this reason I am reaching out to the community. A part time job or a donation in any amount would be very much appreciated. Please help me become the individual that has the privilege to help and comfort you and your family in the future.
Donations of any amount are most graciously appreciated.
From the core of my heart and soul, I thank you for your consideration in this matter

Family seeking new start in life needs some help

Posted by royhorner on 2011-10-04 11:58:59

In an attempt to start anew,my wife and I and our four children recently moved from Pennsyslvania back to our hometown of Louisville, KY, where the cost of living is much more affordable.
To forestall the spectre of foreclosure, we did a short sale on our PA house, and are now renting in Louisville.
Since arriving here in July, I have been unemployed (with the exception of an 11-day temporary job). We have fallen behind in our rent and bills to the amount of $3,000 to $5,000, and we need something within that amount to regain our footing. I start a new FT job today, Oct. 4, that offers +40 hours a week with opportunities for OT and, I hope, advancement. My wife and kids are also passionately seeking employment (one of my sons recently started a new job).
All was going well until 2005 when I lost the career/professional position I had that included a decent salary and healthcare for my entire family. In the past six years I have been underemployed with damaging stints of underemployment. Two times I've been laid off. I've washed dishes in a restaurant, mopped floors in a nursing home and worked for a mammoth retailer, all in an effort to provide for my family and seek open windows of opportunity. In one job I even worked five consecutive 15-hour shifts. I have more than 120 resumes pending for various government and private sector jobs.
I'm a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the father of three Boy Scouts, including one who is an Eagle Scout.
I could also provide references.
Any aid in any amount would be beneficial and greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your consideration. God bless you.

Hi people. I'm new to this site and I guess I feel quite stupid here :)

Anyway, just like a lot of people, I'm not living such a good life. At age 10 I moved house and lost all my friends and began a new life of loneliness, I got shy and lost all my confidence and I was bullied in school. And now I'm feeling ill after a long time of random illnesses. Obviously I can't afford these major healthcare prices since we don't have universal healthcare. Plus I haven't got insurance. I suspect I have esophaghal cancer or I may be developing it. I have all the symptoms. I'd be extremely delighted if some kind-hearted people could spare some change somehow so that I can go to the doctor, get checked out, and then sort out my life and do my bit for society.

Thanks, Sam.

Are you my angel??

Is my angel out there? I need your help badly. . my storage is due. . $205. .. my car insurance is only $56, but I don't even have money for gas. Living in my car is tough, but at least I am covered. I am desparate to get some help from you if you can possibly find it in you heart. . . I have nothing at the moment to pay you back with, but I will when I can. Unemployment starts again in Oct. . I just need to get there. You are my only hope. . until I get a job (in healthcare). Thank you. . I will be forever grateful:)
