My 1997 Chevrolet has stopped running. I overpaid $2700.00 for it, and now to fix it, it will cost more than it's value. I live far away from my job where I just started working this week after looking for work for more than four months. So in a nutshell, I'm completely broke.

I decided that the safest route to go would be to buy a scooter, as they're more convenient, there's less likely for something to go wrong, and they're cheaper and better on gas. However, I have absolutely no money to buy one, and since I have no vehicle or transportation what so ever, I won't be able to make it to work, and this will only make my situation worse.

I have found some very nice used scooters for $500 on craigslist nearby. I would so incredibly grateful if you could help me with this $500 and I will have NO problem paying you back $100 or more a month via. paypal until I have paid you off. I can't take out a loan because I'm only 20 and haven't developed enough credit to do so (trust me, I've been down that route).

If you do this for me, I will be able to get to work, by groceries, and keep on going until things get better for me. Also, I was recently accepted into Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and a scooter would be perfect for getting around a place like that.

That's all I need, just $500. I'll pay you back monthly, I'll also give you any information you need in order to prove to you that I'm good for it. I can even set up a contract (if need be) stating that I WILL pay off said vehicle by a certain date. Anything you give will help. I'll be extremely grateful for any amount you send and put it all towards a new mode of transportation so I can make it to work.

I am disabled and my husbands job has reduced his hours. We have two children one is autistic.Our mortgage is three months behind and we are behind in all are bills. The bank account is neg and we have no money for groceries. I am a stay-at-home mom with two adorable children. My husband left me today, taking all the money and the car. AND today is the day I usually buy groceries, so the cupboards are bare. I am planning to start hunting for a job tomorrow, but I need money NOW to feed my kids and get us on our feet -- he seriously left us completely penniless and I don't know how long it will take for me to find work and get my kids into affordable day care. We do not have family in the area to help us out, and the family we do have are having financial problems of their own. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I know this my sound weird to you or it may come across as a scam, I
wouldn't blame you for feeling like that after reading my letter
because if I was in your shoes, I would also feel the same.

I am in a desperate financial situation, January this year I lost my
job due to retrenchment . I have 2 unemployed sisters , we sharing 2
bedroom flat together with my single mother who is also unemployed.
Losing my job has made things very difficult in the family since I was
the only bread winner, I am unable to support them financially ,let
alone keeping up with my rent which I am also 2 months behind. Being
the only man in the house , I decided to take an initiative to seek
financial help from anybody who is willing to learn a helping hand.

I cannot give you an exact figure on how much I need since I don't
know how long it will take for me to get myself a new job so that I
can provide for my family.

In essence , what I am asking from you is to help me with my family
with money to pay for my rent for a few months in advance and buy
enough groceries to last us for some time.

If I am unable to raise the money , my family will continue sleeping
with empty stomachs and it may lead to us  being evicted from the flat
due to none rental payment and we will end up on the street.

I will really appreciate it if you can consider learning a helping

My puppy is 6 months old (today actually) and he has just contracted Parvo. His name is Chopper, he is a Lab/Pit mix. He weighs 42 lbs and lives here with my husband and I. We also have his brother, Sheik, another pup from his litter. In the past 24 hours, Chopper has been vomiting very often and wouldn't have anything to eat or drink. He also started having bloody diarrhea. I took him to the Vet where they tested him positive for the Parvo Virus and he must stay there and be hospitalized to have the best chance to survive and come through. However, the vet I took him to is the cheapest around and they still say it will cost anywhere from $600-$900 for his complete treatment. All the money my husband and I could come up with was $400, and even that $400 puts us behind on bills and groceries and many things, but it was enough for them to take Chopper and start his treatment. Please help us in the fight to save our puppy! We would be forever grateful for anything and everything donated to us. God bless.

in a couple of weeks i will be homeless. after becoming unemployed two years ago i was living off money which i had from cashing in my retirement account. after taking a couple of months for leisure ( i hadn't had an actual vacation, aside from a long weekend here or there, for the past 12 years) i was in the beginning phase of starting a small business. then i had a heart attack. i had surgery to place a stent in one of my arteries. it seems that i was born with a twisted artery and had been living with it all my life suffering no ill effects. according to my doctor artery walls are fairly thin and pliable when one is young, but as a person ages the walls thicken and become less pliant. when you combine these two factors with the twist of the artery, the result is a cutoff of the flow of blood to the heart. my doctor said that had i waited another day to come into the hospital, i would have died. while the surgery left me weak, it was the anti-rejection medication that i was on which was the problem. it left me so tired and weak, that after a walk to and from the local bodega just two blocks from my apartment , after i walked in the door i had to lay the bags down and sit and rest for a half hour or more, before i could put groceries away or even thinking about standing up and preparing food. quite a change from when i was biking 5 miles a day/ five days a week and lifting weights several times a week. my bank account was swiftly drained due to the cost of the hospital stay/surgery, and to the cost of medications ($130/month).
once i was off the anti-rejection meds and feeling well enough to work, i began searching for a job seeing as my hope of starting a business drained away with the money in my bank account. but unfortunately, with the economy the way it is, i have been unsuccessful in my search. i am now virtually penniless and am being evicted from my apartment. i am have sold off what few possessions i have in order to have some cash to buy the things i need for living on the streets, but the accumulated amount came to less than $100.

I need help to keep me from going bankrupt. I am unable to acquire a job because of injuries I sustained during my deployment to Afghanistan. The army is going to pay me, but that takes a lot of time and paperwork and I am looking at six months before I begin receiving checks. I tried to do college online but had to quit because I can no longer retain new information as a result of my brain injury. I'm married with three children and often find myself running short on groceries at the end of the month. I have let go of all bills that I could (cable, internet, cell phone, etc) but I am still falling short. Any help would be greatly appreciated by myself and my family. I would use contributions to purchase clothing and food, as well as make minimum payments on monthly bills. Once I begin receiving disability I will immediately stop accepting donations, and as soon as I can afford to, I promise to donate at least what I have received in donations back to this website. Training at work going well but need a car for further training and husband's health is getting worse every day. Sugar is staying over 660 and blood pressure is rising without that medication also. Now is at 220/190. Don't know what I am going to do. Had to walk to store 3 times the other day to get groceries and, in Florida, it is getting hotter all of the time. Not to mention the rain now too. I really hate to ask anyone for help or "beg" but I really,really need help getting a car.

I need money for an apartment. I am currently living with my ex boyfriend because I would otherwise be homeless. He is emotionally and physically abusive and it is extremely difficult living with him. He wants me to move out as soon as possible, but no later than the end of July. I found an apartment for $700 a month, but need a few thousand to move in--deposit, furniture, two months rent.

I have a job but I barely make enough to pay my bills. I can't even buy myself groceries. I apply for other jobs every day and never get them. I am a college graduate and am intelligent and would appear to be pretty normal if you saw me at the store. But I have slept in my car when my ex boyfriend has kicked me out at times and I fear I will be living in it soon. It wouldn't be too bad, I guess, but I have cats and it's impossible for my cats to live in my car.

I am a good person and always try to help other people whenever I can. I just need a little help now. I have no friends or family anywhere in the area and I feel hopeless. I have never asked for help before. I have worked all my life and am still working a full time job and looking for a second job. I got divorced last year and pretty much walked away from the home we owned together ( it was worth it) I now live in a small apt that is my sanctuary. I have to commute around 50 miles each way to work and buying gas and groceries in the same week is not possible. My story isn't any different than anyone elses. I don't have a sad sob story, I am just a regular person who is asking for a hand up not a hand out.Any spare money I have left after paying bills (not much and most times nothing) is going towards a plane ticket or gas money from Boston to Ft Jackson so I can watch my son graduate from boot camp in August)
I woud be willing to repay when I can and am more than willing to pay it forward. PLEASE no scams. Life is hard enough without them

I didn't want to have to resort to begging but I'm getting desperate here.

A few months back I lost my job, no big shocker there, it seems everyone is losing their job lately. I thought I was doing fine though I was paying for groceries on my credit card and cut out everything I didn't need. Then I found out my partner was going to lose his car due to debt and as it was our only car I quickly jumped up to pay the $3000 debt so he could still drive to work and we weren't both jobless.
After 6 months of sturggling on my own I finally gave in and moved home to my mums house but I am now in $7000 debt and it's still climbing due to interest charges. Now I don't expect a complete stranger to reach into their bank accounts and pay my debt for me because I did get myself into this but I would like to think that if you had some spare money no matter how small you would help someone that is really struggling.

Looking for some help with repairs, groceries and bills to keep things running. I am currently struggling to pay bills and things keep breaking or going wrong. We are a family of five and everything keeps going up while pay goes down. Also now we are going thru bankruptcy the bank now will no longer take a mortgage payment via internet & will only take via phone which requires a $20 fee every month! Doesn't make sense that the banks want to see you struggle more. Wish there was a way to fight back but they have all the power. Looking for any help even if small. I have been unable to pay my rent or utility bills, this month due to medical demands in last 3 years. I have paid$6,800.00 this last year (2011). So far this year I am up to $2,000.00 in charges fpr prescriptions & tests. please help me to recover this expenses. I have now been forced to stop buying groceries. Life is so bad. Lost my job and I'm 58 noone will hire or even reply to my resumes. My husband is handicap and 73, just had open heart surgery so he can't work. We live only on his Social Security and this state says we make too much for assistance. Hum, let them try to live on it. This month we are living on $20 for 3 weeks. Always late on rent. Waiting for phone, TV to be disconnected which happens regularly. Groceries, well go to food pantry to help. Worked all my life and can't believe this is happening. I just sit in my chair most of the time if I'm not crying or having panic attacks. Can't afford insurance or meds, so go to free clinic when I can get in. I'm diabetic, heart issues, lung issues, etc and playing russian roulette, but what can I do. Hope nothing major happens because I have no insurance and can't afford hospital bills, guess I see my parents earlier in heaven.

Hello, My name is Sean and I was fired last month due to a very racist boss. I am looking for work as often as I can and my unemployment claim is still in the works. I don't even know if i am qualified. Anyway, rent is due in a few days and I need some help. Rent is $850, and I am about $300 short plus i need some cash for groceries.
