My daughter, mother, sister and myself are all that we have left. Lung cancer killed my dad, prostate took my grandfathers, breast took my aunts, colon took my uncles. I have cried everyday, all day. We have very little family and very little money. The funerals costs, the bills, took everything we had. We are flat broke. We are behind in all of our bills, rent,utilities, credit card and we really need help. My daughter is 7 and she cries and understands that we are very poor and we don't know anyone who we can turn to. I am begging with a sincere heart in hopes that any amount can be donated can save our small family and keep us going. I am constantly looking for work, but with my mom fixed income, my sister's disability and a young child I am always needed to get medicine, or to wash and clean my family and care for them. I recently was released from the local Mental Health Center. (I lost my job and wife the same day)Then, found out a fried committed suicidea a while hack, and I did't even know. That just broke it for a week. I came close to suicide, namely after running out of every cent I have. This week, I'll lose phone, car, rent, everything. Some very good people helped my back from that ledge, but it doesn't help keeping a home and electricity. I will a few hundred dollars on April 21, but can't hold out that long. If someone could see their way to help me for that month, for survival purposes, you would have my eternal gratitude. As soon as, or if, I get this help, you will be paid back. It may take me a bit to get back on my feet, but it will come back.

My friends are getting married in Hawai'i this summer. I wasn't planning on going, but then my house was flooded in September and I lost everything. Not only did they rescue me from the powerless, waterless hotel I was stuck in for two days, they helped with the cleaning out and gutting of the house, let me live with them until my house was livable, not only put up with but embraced my needy dog, and unofficially adopted me as a member of his family (soon to be hers as well!)

As they refused to take any payment from me, or any other form of thank you other than words, I feel that attending their wedding in July is my way of showing gratitude, by supporting them as they combine their worlds as one legally. Airfare will be the worst of the expenses, they have rented a house for guests and so this has lowered the hotel cost, and 3 friends and I will be sharing the cost of a rental car. Please help me make the 10 hour long flight a little easier to bear!

Hello. I am a 2nd year student, although this is now my third year at university. The reason for this is that I live with my mum, and she was going through some major finance troubles. I stopped studying for a while and started working full time to help with bills. Things are still hard, but at least we are not at risk of losing the house anymore! I am returning to University, and had planned my finances as I am working part time to pay for my studies. However, with so many bills, a hole, yes a hole, in the floor of my kitchen (the fault of my sister who overloaded the fridge plug, and caused the freezer to melt), medical bills, a broken car (again), and the ever growing cost of living, I have only saved $600 of the required $2700 needed for my fees to be paid by the end of the month. On top of this, the hole is required to be fixed immediately ,as the longer it’s not fixed, the more the rotting will spread further, therefore needing a bigger job to fix it. This has a quote of $4000 - mind you that is just one quote; I have heard it's a couple of thousand depending on how big the area is (from 3-4 thousand), but he said because it has effected such a large area, that they need to cut out beyond the floor boards to ensure the rot is gone. I have never done this before, so I am a little ashamed to say the least that it has come to asking complete strangers for help. I have really tried to save for as long as possible, but things keep coming up that have cause me to only save a portion of what is needed. However they need to be paid so quickly that I am asking for help to get the $6100 so I can pay them before deadlines/further damage. If anybody has any means of helping I would be so very appreciative; I really am almost in tears at this moment to even think that somebody could be so kind and generous to even consider helping me, like winning the lottery. As of today I am currently £23,002.27 in debt. It is a lot of money which I am paying off bit by bit, but when you know your time on this Earth could be limited by cancer, paying this off means much more than it would normally.

In 2005 I was diagnosed with a Malignant Melanoma on my head, it was a large tumour which grew further than it should have thanks to a blunder by my doctor. By the time I had it removed, it was a stage four lesion and my chances were slim.

But with surgery and radiotherapy I managed to get through and for one year I was pretty much all clear! but this was short lived when, after a routine scan, I was given the grave news that it had become metastatic and spread to my liver and my lungs.

That was three years ago and by the grace of God I have survived with little change, but ever since this terrible ordeal I have sunk further in to debt. As you might imagine, the propensity to spend money in times of hardship is something I could not avoid.

I don't know how much time I have left and as it is I am struggling to pay debts and get through on a day-to-day basis.
I would like to live a little before my health deteriorates, go on holiday, have a bit of fun and I am worried for my wife too as I can't take out life insurance with my condition, and I want to make sure she is secure after I am gone.

Any donation is good, if I could pay off all of my debts so that we would have a bit of money to use to enjoy what could be my last years, even better. One thing I would be certain is that my gratitude would not be suitably expressed in words, as it would be genuinely immense.

I'm a single parent that is experiencing financial hardship due to: job loss, health problems, medical bills etc.

I have fallen behind on my payments because my income has dropped considerably, and I have been unable to work for 2 years now. I'm behind on my rental and utilities. My landlord has been kind enough to help for the last 6 months, but we have been given a deadline of March 1st. My elderly parents depend on me as well.
The amount would help pay 6 months ahead, including utilities, and would keep a roof over our heads. This would allow me some time to keep working toward finding a solution for my situation.

This is why I'm posting here:

I am 25 and for my entire life, I have been fat. I don't mean this as in, a little on the chubby side; but obese. I can remember being in 5th grade, when our class had to get weighed and measured at the nurses office. The sinking feeling in my gut that came up when I weighed almost 200 lbs at the age of 10 is something that I don't think I will entirely forget.

Because of my horrible diet as a child (McDonalds, soda, you name it), I have spent my entire young life coping with being overweight and all of the horrible things that go with it: wondering if I'll fit in a seatbelt, wondering if I would break a friends bed or chair if I sat on it, or never being able to find a cute outfit to wear like all the other girls. When I was about 14, I was diagnosed with PCOS, which is cysts on my ovaries (contributing to my obesity, or as a result of, but they worked in tandem to make my life miserable). Without health insurance, I was never able to get this issue resolved, and with my poor diet, my weight increased. PCOS symptoms also include abnormal facial and body hair, which was (and to a degree still is) the bane of mine and any woman's existence. A woman should never have to feel so ashamed of her own body, and yet that is exactly how I've felt for as long as I've realized that I was different, and that looks mattered.

My highest weight as of 4 months ago topped out at 324 (thought I had reached 340 a year earlier but had lost some weight over a long period of time). Recently I began taking HCG (a hormone that helps regulate fertility and also helps with weight loss), and am amazed to report that for the first time in my adult life, I am 270 lbs. While this still is a lot, for me it is an incredible number to be at. Never in my life have I felt the fear of dying at 30 begin to be lifted, though I still have a long way to go.

So the point of my request: there are a lot of dreams I have that I feel like I am within reach of grasping. Some of them have already been fulfilled: I have been able to travel with my family, and this past year my parents helped me to finance a jeep. This is a huge one...I live on the west coast and have always wanted to live a surfer/beach lifestyle.

But how could a fat girl ever be a surfer? It's been my dream for the past 10 summers to learn to surf, with beaches only 15 minutes away. But every year, the fear stopped me, my weight stopped me, my inability stopped me.

I want this year to be the last year fear gets in the way.

With my weight going down, I've been trying to exercise. I've been attempting a modified version of P90X, and have been eating healthy and avoiding all the foods that got me where I am today. The problem is that financially, while I do work full time, I barely make enough to cover my bills (gas, car insurance, car payment, cell phone), and am not even able to help my hard working parents pay rent. So money for extras this summer is not really possible, but I CAN'T let another year go by without accomplishing this task.

I want to attend a surf camp this summer in San Diego, called Surf Divas. The problem? Surf lessons are expensive. I think to get me on the right path, I'd need at least 10 hours of lessons. At $82 an hour, thats $820.

The reason I want to fulfill this dream is to prove to myself and others that no matter where you've been, or how far your body is from being in shape, that the human body is remarkably capable of change. I would want to encourage anyone who doesn't think they are the right "type" to surf or do a sport that they can push their bodies to do things they never thought possible. And I sincerely believe that learning to surf will help me pursue my health and fitness goals long term, as well as truly set free the earth-and-sea-loving hippie that I keep snug and close to my soul. I live for summer and the ocean...and being able to ride a way would be life changing for me.

If anyone is able to donate or help support me in taking charge of my health and fitness...there would be no adequate way to thank you. I will send you a picture of me riding my very first wave as a token of gratitude, with a friendship bracelet made by me with a few shells from the beach strung on it. My way to say thank you for helping me to live a healthy life.

Gratitude to all who are on this site!
In 2009 doctors and many others witnessed tiny fluorescent white little puff balls, I call them (They are actually rice grain shaped), emerging spontaneously from my skin by the hundreds,maybe thousands. I have been ill most of my life on and off, for at least 15 years with migraines 25 or more out of 30 days much of spring through fall. When the disease(es) is/are fully active, it is sheer unending torture...
Mild examples are that I got stung by a bee, and was relieved to see it was bee, not the disease..the other day for about 5 minutes, it felt like I had a pinl sticking into my back, antibiotic final stopped it.the itching, stinging, is unreal, intense . I have kept it subdued through alternative cures a.d mixes after anti fungal with antibiotic, yet it still persists, and spring and summer heat make it overactive.
It seems to come with this rustcolored mold that is now everywhere in the little camper I am living in. This rust colored mold also grows kn and in me, creating ...well, ill leave out all the gorey detsils..My family helped me to buy this new, in hopes living in good clean air would help. We looked at the mold under a microscope, and like the fibers that come out ogle, it is fibrous, not mold- like
To add to this, we looked at a slide I made of the fiber in 2009, and one of the fibers turned into a slug like thing while in storage on the microscope, and there is this strange black ink- like looking circle around it all.
my doctors are at a loss, as they don't know of any test to identify this. The fibers just came back as unidentified plant material. It is strange to see them emerge..it just blips right out of the skin in less than a second.
because my camper is now covered in this, no matter how much I clean, every rain the camper gets covered.
Whatever this organism had done to my body, I itch, well all the time. it gets worse when I touch people or old books, I cannot sit on fabric, I have to bring plastic with me wherever I go..
Even my bed is covered in plastic
This organism fights other organisms, even acidophilus!
This and my severe migraines led to finally sucumbing to the acceptance of needing help, which came immediately through disability.o
My goal now is to identify this organism(or group of organisms. I have to get the camper de- termed. I am so sensitive, even staying in people's homes is out of the question now.
I basically require a simple box,ee batbroomand kitchen with no carpete amper drapes, furnishings, unless all 3, etc. And living in Los Angeles, only h budget, the camper is the best solution right now. Help getting me out of this camper, help paying the cost of a company that will remove the mold/ organism, and help with paying for tests to identify this are needed most any experts in any of these areas, I guess if you donate a penny and leave your contact information through PayPal, I would be so grateful!

if there are any mycologists,, geneticists, mold remediation specialists, (to get my camper less toxic)
And any funds to send out samples to be tested (one place, parasite testing.com calls this neurocutaneous syndrome..and may be able to identify.. it just a swab test is $120!)
And I need to get myself into a place that is healthy for me...eventually it will either be a new camper or studio rented somewhere. For now, until get the mold out of this camper, I will not sell it.
So this is a tidbit of my story...I was a healer, then got too sick! I now channel some of that into healing art
Any help is appreciated! I am much toover- sensitive for any direct healing, I do appreciate intent/prayers out to the grater energy, beyond even consciousness that we are all a part of. In 2009 our son was born very prem.
We had lost 11 babies to miscarriage and a daughter to
Stillbirth.
Our boy is a true miracle as my wife has a blood disorder.
Our little man has mild cerebral palsy and autisim and we try to help him to our best abilities but due to me losing my job when the company i worked for, for 5 years went bust things are beyond tough.
The worst thing of all my boss wasnt paying my social security contributions so by spanish law we only get 59 euros a week for 3 of us to live on.
This also means he only gets emergency health care. No vacations, physio or speech therapy.
My wife and i live on toast so he can eat better but its not enough.
We have 9000 euros of debt and owe 9 months rent.
We will be evicted soon.
Both my wife and myself wish to return to the uk after 10 years here but we need money for flights, warm clothing and money to rent an apartment.
With christmas coming up it will be another year and the economic situation is getting worse here.
My son and wife need urgent medical treatment this situation is so terrible.

This is my first, and hopefully the last time I'm reaching out for financial help. I'm a university degree holder, a young writer from one of the poorest and most under privileged countries from Eastern Europe. My name is Faith and I am a Christian mother of two school aged children.

I am filled with gratitude and thanks to God for all the blessings he has given me. The greatest gifts that I have been given are my two children.

I have never reached out to anyone for help, but today I feel compelled to reach out. I have been unable to sleep or eat for months, my hair is falling out from stress and my body is covered in hives.

I know that my hands are tied, I cannot solve my financial problems on my own. I have tried, I work full time, I have been doing additional work, cleaning homes, doing paid research studies, etc. I know that God has the power to put the right people and the right circumstances in our lives to solve any problems, even if they seem impossible.

I am literally drowning in debt. It feels like I am in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and I keep going down deeper and deeper.

My son was born with Congenital Heart Disease and required Open Heart Surgery. Due to complications and financial shortcomings as a result of my son's surgery, my children and I were forced to leave our home. I found another home for us to live in. Less than a year after moving into our new home, both of my kids became very ill. My son was once again hospitalized. This time he was bleeding internally. We found out that the home we were living in was full of Stracybotrus Mold, the home was deemed uninhabitable. I was told by multiple doctors and by environmental companies that we must leave our home. I was told that I must throw away anything that I had that could not be dipped in bleach to get rid of the mold spores. I rented a large dumpster, the kind that has the stairs on the side to climb up. I literally threw away almost everything that my kids and I have ever owned. I was forced to throw away all of our mattresses, couches, pillows, stuffed animals, stuffed animals, dolls,toys, toaster, curtains, etc. Just imagine everything that you have in your home, if I can't be dipped in bleach, it had to be thrown away.

The health of my children was more important to me that any material possession, so I was OK with throwing it all away.

We are now in another home and I am struggling to replace everything that I had to throw away. I have started with beds for the kids and toys to replace what we had to throw away.

We lost everthing. We lost the money that we put down on the mold house, we lost all the money I put into the mold house trying to make it a home, we lost all of our possessions. But, we have not lost our faith or our gratitude.

I am currently about $20,000 in debt, past due on mortgage, utilities, and credit card bills.

If you can find it in your heart to donate any amount, my family would be so grateful. I really do not care about myself, I buy all my clothes at second hand stores or garage sales, I cut my own hair and eat only things that are really inexpensive like Top Ramen. What I do care about though is my kids. They have suffered enough in their short lives and I want them to feel safe, warm and secure. I have protected them from the financial storm as much as possible, but I know that they see my crying and worrying about the bills, so this is why I am asking for help.

Put very simply, my girlfriend of 6 months and best friend of nearly a year needs money for school. Due to her and her family's lack of money she can no longer attend the school where we met. The alternative is a community college except that it is 45 minutes away from her house. She will not even be able to generate enough revenue from her two jobs to pay for school and gas to get to school. It is heartbreaking for me to watch the girl that I love go from a top flight university to not even being able to go to school. To further the problems, the community college has a limit on the private loans you can take out. She needs about $15,000 dollars for things to feasibly work out. She can use loans for 7,000 of that. Her mom lives paycheck to paycheck to take care of the three kids and her dad is out of the picture since he cheated on her mom and left. This is my last ditch effort to help her out. I guess I am not expecting this to work but it's work a try, right? I want to extend my deepest gratitude for anyone who gives this the time of day or even sends their sympathies.

Hello there, I am typing this in the hope that I gain your help in raising the necessary funds that I am going to use to buy my family a brand new home that is warm,dry and healthy. Now I know that some of you are reading this and simply thinking "oh good luck with that one.." but I do firmly believe if you state what it is that you need and keep the faith that it will happen...then it will happen.

I am a firm believer in "doing" rather than sitting around and "waiting" so that's basically it in a nutshell really, my family and I (I have a husband and 4 children, he works and Im a stay at home mum) are sick of living in a damp and cold place when we know our kids deserve way better but we just dont have the funds to do this. Now Im not asking for donations to go out and purchase some top notch house or anything but it will be something warm, dry, insulated (this one we are in isnt) and a place that we can actually call "home". I may not raise all the funds needed in one go but I am so determined to make this work and I believe everything happens for a reason so if you are one of the many kind hearted people in this world reading through these and wondering which one to donate too....I have faith that you will help me in my journey to owning a home that is actually healthier and warmer for my family...and knowing that your donations will be receieved with much appreciation and gratitude. At first, I was living off of credit cards and aquired a great debt. I am struggling to pay off this debt. Hi. My name is Laura, and in the past few years I've been laid off, lost my home, sold everything I once owned and learned to live more frugally than I ever thought possible. I was saved from homelessness by friends with generous hearts and a sofa I could sleep on, and through it all I've learned some very valuable lessons about gratitude, and what really matters in life.

I have started my own small business, and am gradually clawing my way back from the brink. I manage to scrape by from month to month, but like so many people I'm still always one unexpected expense away from disaster.

Then last week my trusty old laptop died after years of faithful service. I had to replace it, because my business depends on it. I got lucky and found a good, second hand machine at a bargain price, but that expense has pushed me over the edge, and I'm short about $75 for bills this month.

I'm doing everything in my power to earn that money before I end up back in the downward spiral of late fees and bank charges, but I'm running out of time. I found BegsList while I was looking online for help and information, and decided it can't do any harm to ask!
