I really need help, I couldn't sleep tonight. I actually googled , "I am about to get evicted and I need help paying rent" and this website came up so here I am. If this site really works and there is anyone out there willing or able to help I sincerely need you now! My rent including late fee is $725 and as of today I m 21 days late and only have $80. The reason for this is that I work part time and get paid every 2 weeks. While my pay is usually enough to cover this, I did fracture my toe and sprain my ankle 2 weeks ago causing me to miss a week from work. I'm also a freelance designer so I can work from home but I have not received any new projects so no money coming in there.

Hello, I am so uncomfortable doing this. I am a 42 year old woman with two wonderful toddler boys ages 3 and 2. My troubles started in 2010 during my pregnancy with my second child. I became very sick and the doctors were unable to find the cause. During the search for a cause I was diagnosed with Lymphoma, but the cause was finally identified when I gave birth two months prematurely. I will not go into graphic detail, but I came out of the hospital 7 weeks later,with shortbowel syndrome and other serious problems. My son thankfully was fine and is thriving. I worked for a government agency for 16 years, and suddenly found myself surviving on disability. I must add that my husband was not much of a help. We are currently seeking to get divorced after 5 years of marriage. Through my illnesess he has been verbally, emotionally and on occasion physically abusive. I prolonged the divorce due to my health conditions and he is a good father to our children. My, what I thought was an upstanding, husband lost his job in 2009 and has not worked since but some small jobs. Even though he has worked, he has barely contributed to supporting the family. I have managed to keep the family afloat by paying the critical bills. What I haven't been able to pay is:

*our monthly condo maintanence fee of $258.00 for the past 3 months.
*I have a $160.00 car insurance payment due on 6-10-12, this will keep my paid until 10-10-12.
*The divorce attorney is asking for a $2500.00 retainer.
*June health insurance of $555.00.
*The numerous unpaid medical expenses.

I make it happen with the rest of the things my boys and I need. In July of 2012 I will recieve Medicare, since I will then have been on disability for 2 years. I think that will make things somewhat easier on me. As a note, lymphoma is not being treated right now. Thank goodness the nodules have remained stable, though if there is any change I will probably have to start some sort of treatment.

Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated. Since almost dying in 2010, I have a renewed faith in God (though I have always been a believer). I know that God walks beside me and my children and the He watches over us. Prayers to all that are on this site, whether asking for help or giving it.

This is highly embarassing for me to "cyber beg." Begging seems like such an awful word, but here I am asking for donations of anything! I don't care if it's 0.25 cents or $1. Anything helps.

I'm a struggling graphic designer in need of a new desktop Machintosh. I'm aiming to raise $1300 to buy a new iMac computer so that I can start designing to complete my portfolio and start applying for work. My last computer failed on me during finals in school. Thanks to my school's computer lab, I was able to finish my work and graduate. That was back in NYC. I couldn't afford living there on my own and had to come to a smaller town to live with parents. I worked minimum wage retail to gain some money, but the physical stress forced me to stop working due to muscle weakness problem I have. A medical affliction caused by a tumor that has been affecting my energy and skeletal/muscle strength for about 7 years. It was hard getting through school with my condition. It was twice as hard having to work on my feet for hours in a retail environment.

Double my misfortune, I live in a place where jobs are hard to come by. A small town which has a lot of developing to do and jobs are far between. I need a car to travel to the nearest grocery store and can't depend on parents to transport me everywhere. This is why a job is so imperative. I'd like to feel fulfilled knowing I'm doing something for my future and earning money to buy my needs. I wish I had the equipment to start looking for work.

I want an iMac more than anything in the world. If I had my iMac, I could update my portfolio, do some online freelance work and help my parents with some bills. I could start applying for jobs from home and not have to rely on my neighbor's iPad to browse the internet. Whenever my family goes to the mall in the weekends, I pass by our local Apple store and I see people walking out of the store with large boxes containing their brand new iMac's, Macbook Pro's or expensive iPad's...and I get angry.

Yes, I know it sounds terrible and I know not everyone buying a computer is a rich business mogul or an overpampered kid whose parents can buy them whatever they want, and they never have to worry about whether they could afford it or not. But it hurts me to know I'm in such a position, that although I am an adult who should be paying her parent's bills, I can't even help myself because I'm unemployed. No thanks to my stupid weak body that can't take a lot of physical strain, no thanks to ending up in a town where I can't get anywhere without having to walk at least two miles, no thanks to not having my computer...

My name is not Amelia. That is just a screen name because I am too embarassed to reveal my real name. I'd be so grateful to anyone that can help me reach my $1300 goal. I know Mac's are expensive, but they are the industry standard in what I do. I would like a desktop because they are durable and longer lasting. They can also take a lot processing power for the heavy graphic work I do. If you can find it in your time to spare any change .25 cents, $1, $5, I'll be grateful 'till eternity.

In 2009, I was made homeless by Hurricane Ida in Virginia. That same year, I became disabled with COPD, sciatica and fibromyalgia. It has been a long, slow process of recovery,pain, poverty,and the accompanying humiliation. I have had to give up my car, my cottage, and my job.

However, thanks to the efforts of very dear friends and some self-made luck I finally have a stable living situation, and the strength to embark on a new career as a writer and self-publisher of Spiritual and New Age materials.
Writing is where I find my greatest joy, (followed closely by my painting) and my experiences have given me rewards of perspective that makes the challenges I still contend with somehow worth it. I'm looking to help others find the inner strength and hope that I found through my own crisis.

My computer, however, is almost 8 years old and between the "pages not responsive" and "Chrome has crashed", system crashes and stalls, etc it routinely takes me up to 3 hours to upload anything to the site. I have very limited energy, and this can take up an entire day.
The the age of the machine means that it is limited in terms of upgrades and networking.
I've learned and done all I can to keep it running this long, but now I need a new one if I am going to be able to do the kind of heavy-duty publishing and posting to make it in this field and become self-sufficient.
I am looking for $5,000+ to cover the following costs:

I'm a 20 year old female graphic design student trying to live my dream. NYC is so expensive and paying for school is soo hard. I have a 3.6 GPA but I don't want to have to quit school because I can't afford it. I try very hard but it seems it is becoming harder and harder. Lunch everyday is $10.00 the cheapest and forget about the costs of books and software. I try and ask my mother for help because she is the only one that I have but she isn't doing too good either. I live with my grandmother but she is on disability and can't afford to help. I do work study but that can be draining because my school is tough. The least classes I've taken was 7, I am in my 4th semester and I'm taking 8 classes. Please help me, anything is better than nothing. I really need money for school, I'd rather not eat for the day. Hi. Rey here, from Manila, Philippines. I am only asking for whatever amount your good heart could shell out. I am one of many people struggling with debt. I work for my father's company, and makes PhP 15000, or around $348 a month, which is not enough to support my new family (just got married and have a 2 month old baby). Can't get out and make money through other means since my parents discourages just the thought of it. They aren't exactly meisers/selfish, but being conservative means they don't have room to understand such a problem that I have. I currently owe RCBC (a local bank) roughly 2000 USD. And this isnt even because of my own expenses. Mostly expenses of the company charged to me. But it won't be easy to argue that with my family since, I have, from time to time, used the credit card for personal purchases. I am already paid, in a sense. But its the finance charges that accumulated over time. 3.5% per annum. I am trapped. Please help me. I will appreciate it very much and I will include you in my prayers. PS. I'm a freelance graphic/software designer who already has a paying client with a startup also interested in my services, but I'm having trouble performing at my best because I do not have the money for a dedicated work area. There is a coworking office near my apartment that offers space for $350/month, but to work at full capacity I'd really like to buy the equipment I need for a home office, which runs between $3 and $5k. (At a minimum having a larger monitor and a desk would let me do some of the basic design work I need to do: that's $500-1k.)

I'm a single mother who was injured back in May by an elbow hitting me hard on the side of the head. Since then I've been experiencing all sorts of medical issues and am completely unable to work. I've been living off savings, and the bit of short term disability I received through work in July and August. I've since been denied 2 times from them and not receiving any income whatsoever. My savings are gone!

I'm drowning in debt and trying to get bills covered! Christmas? Well, let's just say Santa isn't going to be visiting our house much this year. I'll be lucky to pick up a few toys for my daughter by skipping a bill and probably shopping second-hand stores.

Currently I care for an elderly family member and supplement my income through Graphic & Web Design, as well as repairing computers for others.
As I have recently had several hardware meltdowns, I am not able to complete & honor current obligations, nor generate the income needed to replace needed hardware and/or complete repairs, or contract new projects.
I have no use for greed, and thus am not looking to get rich. Just looking to gain enough to replace and/or fix what I need.

I'm in dire straits. I've been out of work since the first of the year. My unemployment benefits have run out. My checking account is already overdrawn by around 100 dollars. I have about 29 cents in a paypal account, and that's it. We are nearly out of food, and our electricity will be shut off soon (which is very bad in the summer here in Arizona). I've tried to find work, but I'm either over or under qualified for everything. I've borrowed all the money I can from my family.

My girlfriend lives with me, and has been unable to work for years due to serious health problems. She recently had surgery and is still mostly housebound.

To sum up, I'm completely tapped out. If I don't get around 1,100 dollars within the next couple of days we will be facing eviction.

My wife is a waitress, and works double shifts 5 days a week.

My name is James Short. I have been an SSI (disability) recipient since 2003 and I am one year away from graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. My education has been funded by student loans, but I need help in purchasing a computer suitable to start a computer programming and graphic design business. I have been raised with the philosophy that if a man can take care of himself, then he should do everything possible to do it. My problem is it is going to cost approximately $2500 to get the computer, mostly due to the cost of software necessary for programming and graphics work. I've had a variety of jobs in a variety of industries but finally figured out what I want to do with my life. So last year I quit my job and returned to college to earn a degree in Game Design and Production.

I believed I could work and go to school full time, but the problem is I have difficulty maintaining my grades when I work. And of course I have difficulty paying my bills when I don't (but it keeps my grades up!)

I've had a rough life from the beginning! I was an unwanted child of teen parents, so I got passed around a lot. I had traumatic childhood, being subject and witness to my mother's drunken escapades and those of her boyfriends. I've been on my own since I was 16, with no family help. Determined to graduate High School, I got a job and rented a room, then graduated nine months pregnant. I had my second child at 20, so I married their father. He shortly thereafter started cheating on me and became abusive. After watching my mother being abused as a child, I vowed to myself that I would never tolerate it, so I left him. He then stalked me and broke into my apartment and strangled me. I had a near death experience, but was lucky enough to come back to care for my children. By the time I was 26, I doubled my family, because I had twins. I thought their father was my soul mate, but low and behold, he cheated on me and then became abusive too. Originally, I took all four children with me and stayed in one room, but it was so tough on my twins, as they were only 3 and weren't allowed to play where we lived. Since their father stayed in the house we were buying, he talked me into letting them stay with him, but it was only supposed to be temporary. Truly, he didn't want to pay child support. He said since I had two children with me and he had two with him, nobody would have to worry about child support. What a joke! He ended up collecting welfare, so the DCSE started collecting child support from me, even after he got married. Here I am single mother, struggling to make ends meet, while he's married and getting child support from me. To make matters worse, my daughters' father didn't pay anything. He’s also remarried. I tried to take him to court, but can't do it, because it brings back PTSD from when he stalked strangled me. One year, my income was $300 too much to get the earned income tax credit, so now I owe IRS $2000. To top it off, I had been struggling at work, due to a neurological disorder and got laid off for a while. After several months, I found another job, but then suffered a closed-head injury and got laid off. I've been unemployed for 4 years now. The child support added up, so now I owe A LOT (like $10,000)! I applied for disability, but they denied me, so I've been trying to do work for myself, but just trying to pay bills to live and care for my daughters has taken all my money, so I've not been able to get the other stuff paid off. Due to my neurological disorder, I can't work in an office environment, as it makes me very ill and I can't function. I'm currently trying to build a marketing and design business, as well as a ministry for the homeless and battered women, but I really need help getting these bills paid down. I'm starting from scratch with my design biz, as my hard drive died and I lost all of my work. I am a very creative woman, with writing, painting, graphic design, marketing and more, and know once I get things off the ground I will really do well. I need assistance getting some of these bills paid down, so I can live my aspirations. I really want my daughters to go to college, but can't support them. I wish to get caught up, so I can be more supportive of my daughters than my family was of me (their support to me was nil!).

it's getting tougher out there, but there is some hope for me online as a contractor. I graduated with a degree in Digital entertainment, which gave me the skills for graphic design, animation, game design, creative writing, and web development. i also have a previous degree in music Performance. Unfortunately, graduating left me without the programs I need at home to really succeed in the field.
