Post a Beg Now!

as long as my kids have shoes i dont need any

Posted by strngmothrof2bys on 2012-04-23 15:58:18

I am a mother of 2 boys currently going through the divorce process with my Soon to be ex husband who is serving in the US ARMY the rules they have in place for a soldier to support their families once seperated is absoulute ridiculous. Long story short I was only granted 601.00 a month by "military regulations" that my spouse would have to pay me. He almost makes 2000.00 a month for housing allowance alone and needless to say I am struggling. I googled this site primarily to find government assistance but came across this site. I know a lot of you reading this would say "why wouldn't you get a job" but the truth is while following my husband across the country I have not been able to work for the past years so every interview I have that is a one of the concerns that comes up by the person interviewing me. I have taken some college courses online but now that I am not dependent on my military spouse I'm completely dried out from any educational benefits I had looked forward to receiving. I know one day in the future I will be fine but right now I am struggling like never before.

"A Good Deed Gone Wrong"

Posted by aura on 2012-04-23 09:58:46

I have been searching for help, I did something I thought was a good deed and it turned out I was taken for granted and I fell into debt. I sent money I thought was to a charity in singapore for a childrens home. I couldn't believe that people could be so cruel. Now I am here with my electricity about to be turned off and heat. I am looking for help only to repay back. I have been paying out to many payments when I know I can do this with one payment a month. Is their any kind of help I can get. I have tried everything. I am married and we raise our granddaughter. I am a volunteer for my church and I do the best I can. I would give my last dime to someone if I knew they needed it more than me. Now it hurts me to say, I am the one that needs the help. I believe in myh heart no one likes to beg, but their are times when we have to put certain feelings aside to save my family.

I need to pay these loans

Posted by Spyke on 2012-03-22 22:58:57

I have roughly 100,000 in student debt. I graduated with a 3.8, and I have been systematically denied employment post graduation. The system is broken, and i need you to help me get out from under it so that I can get on with my life. Any amount is helpful. Do something positive for this country and aid me. It benefits nobody to let students languish in debt and bad credit. 50000 would rid me of the private loans that I needed to make tuition above the federally available funding. I never spent a dime of it on housing or food; it all went to school and books. My husband and I could get on with our life, start a family, pay our taxes, and pay for health insurance. It's a no-brainer. Your help will directly benefit the very people that will carry this country forward. It's a civic duty to insure that the youth of this country are allowed to succeed; not be crushed under debt. We have the skills, you have the capital. Grant us the capital and we will show you the continuation of this fabulous country into the next century. You know we are capable. Stop holding us back. If you can't give me a job, give me the funding to continue in the only way Americans really operate: to work hard for a living wage to make this country better. Stop wage slavery. Stop the inefficient use of resources caused by low wages granted to college graduates and the denial of jobs to the educated. Keeping the educated at the same wage as the less educated post education is a travesty of the modern culture; it will lead to revolution if it is not remedied. Start now, start by aiding one graduate. Start with me. With every dollar you spend in my name, helping me out of debt, I come closer to undoing the shackles of my bondage and rising to benefit this country. It's patrioic to give. This democracy was founded on moral people helping out others, not by degrading people who wished only to better themselves through education. We are all in this together. My paypal option sits at the bottom of this request. s.pyke@gmail.com. Give. Do it. For your country.

Medical bills are overwhelming me

Posted by l3roken on 2012-03-20 07:58:14

I'm 34 years old and I am here to beg for help. I need help with paying a medical debt, current medical bills, continued health care, and also catching up on household bills as all of those are at minimum 1 month behind now.

I have had a variety of health problems for the last few years, these have also interfered with my employment. While I am still employed part time for now, it is nearly impossible for me to work more than that. The most recent issue had me in a wheelchair and on crutches for several months. I'm walking now, but with a great deal of pain. I don't have insurance and I can't afford the physical therapy I need to help get me back to somewhat normal.

I have several thousand dollars in medical bills. A huge issue at the moment is that one of my many med bills had been sent to collection, then I was sued and a garnishment was granted. My paychecks are not even up to the minimum for garnishment, so they have refiled to freeze my bank account and take my money from there instead. They wouldn't get anything out of it at the moment since I'm broke, but it would leave me unable to use my account to pay my basic bills such as rent, electricity, water, etc.

I also need to see a dentist and an optometrist. It has been several years since I have seen either and I need new glasses and 2 crowns. I've been living on borrowed time with the 2 temporary crowns that were put in several years ago.

I have a very small family and I cannot turn to them because only my stepfather is working and he is already supporting my mother, my sister, & my nephew.

Just to get the bank garnishment taken care of and help me get back to the doctor I need a little over $1900.00. Any more would go to my other medical/dental/vision expenses.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for donating.

All Cried Out...

Hello There,

I am a Psychology student at an accredited college in Pennsylvania. I am in my final year and have learned that I am one credit course short from receiving my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I need to go to Summer School to complete the final course, but do not have the funds available, nor do I have any more loan options. The course with text book rentals will be $2,857.50. I have tried to earn scholarships, but none have been granted. There is always some in more need. I hate having to do this, but this is the only option left for me.

My parents are barely making ends meet, and have gone without just to help me finish school. I implore anyone with a heart to help me. I walk to my school and see the homeless and needy asking for spare change beside the road and have given a dollar or two when I could. The roles are now reversed, only no one seems to be willing to extend a helping hand. Please help me.

I thank you in advance for reading my plea.

Trying to sort out an old mess

Posted by clairecat84 on 2012-01-24 13:58:13

Hi,

Gosh, not really sure what to put here. Where to start. Ok, I made some really bad life choices as a teenager and ended up in a long term mentally abusive relationship and I've ended up with a pile of debt. My ex was an alcoholic who used to spend, pretty much any money he could get his hands on, on alcohol. And me being brainwashed/in love, used to give him money from my credit cards to buy him it. Along with two overdrafts which I ended up with to try and keep on top of our mortgage payments.

Eventually, I plucked up the courage to leave him. Granted it was 6 years later than it should have been. I ended up unable to work for 3 years due to major depression, which I'm still being treated for now, so bills mounted up. Alongside a reposession on our house.

I honestly have noone to blame but myself, and I'm not crying about it all anymore. Just trying to do my best to pay off my debt and make a fresh start.

I do have a new partner now, who is lovely, and a new full-time job. I dont earn loads, but I cover the bills and I pay my way. I'm just struggling to pay back the money I owed from the past. I pay what I can to it every month, but between interest and fines, its not making much of a difference.

I did have around £10,000 on various cards/loans/overdrafts to pay off, but I'm down to about £8,000 at the moment. So I'm not ignoring it, I do want it gone. But its taken me 4 years to pay back £2,000 and I just cant see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Anything anyone can give would be much appreciated. 1p - £1. It all adds up.

Even if you cant help me, I'm just grateful you have managed to read all of this. Feel a bit embarassed writing all this down, if I'm honest!

Thanks everyone, and good luck with lifes journey :)

unbreak my heart....

Posted by brokenhearted on 2012-01-20 17:58:04

I've decided to try and get help through donations http://www.giveforward.com/unbreakmyheart and funding http://unbreakmyheart2011.blogspot.com/from outside sources since every doctor I've seen in 2 years agree that I need the leads to my ICD (defibrillator) replaced; but shuffle me back to the original doctor and wash their hands of me.

I'm raising funds for ICD replacement surgery, to go see a HOCM specialist (Dr. Craig Asher) at Cleveland Clinic in S. Florida and to have advanced testing through Vanderbilt Autonomic Center in Tennessee.

I don't want to admit I need help; I've always been a strong, independent person who took care of everything and everyone. In August 2009, my whole world changed. After my procedure, I applied for disability and was turned down twice and had to hire an attorney. I went from being "super" mom, wife & friend and care taker of an Autistic son to being the one who had to be taken care of.

So how did I get to the point I have to ask others for help? Shortly before Father's Day 2009, I fell and broke my foot. When it didn't heal, I went to my primary with a broken foot and came out with a broken heart. After the shock wore off from the doctor telling me that I was going to die if I didn't have valve surgery; I started asking questions.

I didn't quite believe him and thought he was over reacting when he told me I was going to die because I walked and ran 3-5 times weekly and even did strenuous yard work. I felt fine and have 4 children aged 9-26 and kept up with them and stayed very active in things they did; but I was a ticking time bomb just waiting for the right time for my heart to stop.

He sent me to several specialists who said I had nothing really wrong, just some mild valve problems associated with aging; which was a huge relief. Everything seemed normal except my EKG's; they showed I had a huge amount of PVC's (premature ventricular contractions) roughly 50,000 “extra” heartbeats daily.

My heart didn't really beat fully; it only quivered like a bowl of jello day in day out. The problem with it beating like this is, the heart becomes very ineffective at pumping and your cardiac output drops and heart muscle damage can occur.

The cardiologist and electrophysiologist I saw did extensive testing and recommended more testing in the hospital. I went in for a sleep study, Tilt table test and EP Study with Ablation. The sleep study revealed I had moderately severe sleep apnea and my oxygen goes from 99% down to 73% at night making it very dangerous for me when I sleep.

The tilt table test was the first inkling that something dangerous was going on inside. I fainted and had no palpable pulse; which is a very rare thing to happen. I was diagnosed with Dysautonomia - Neurocardiogenic Syncope and Orthostatic Intolerance.
I then had an ablation to burn the extra pathways in my heart and get rid of the pvc's I was living with daily. I was told this would be a relatively easy process and given a 95% success rate to get rid of the extra beats completely but it never crossed my mind that anything would happen.

What preliminary tests failed to show, is the pattern and origin of my arrhythmias were in a very dangerous spot to ablate - the RV Apex – in the bottom thin underside of the heart.

During the EP Study, I went into cardiac arrest and my heart stopped completely with no rhythm they could shock (Asystole), some how it started again for a few minutes but then stopped again. They were able to shock me back to normal sinus rhythm and luckily, the third time it stopped; it restarted on it's own so I didn't have to be shocked again.

I was diagnosed with Polymorphic Ventricular Tachycardia; a very dangerous, life threatening arrhythmia. I stayed in the hospital for 4 days trying to find a cause and to be prepped for an ICD (implantable cardiac defibrillator).

It took a cardiac catherization to finally find the problem and to show I had HOCM (obstructive Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy) and internal high pressures in my valves.

My regular EP had to go out of town after the first procedure, so his partner had to do the implant; he wasn't as skilled as my regular dr and botched the lead implants.

When they checked the leads the next day before releasing me, they found a problem with the lead placement but the dr said it was "ok" and sent me home. Since then, I've had nothing but problems with the unit and been told by several other EP's I need to have the leads replaced and the ICD could be causing part of my problems.

Doctors think my other problems are related to HOCM (obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy) and Autonomic nervous system failure and when I faint, my heart stops briefly causing damage each time this happens.

After the procedure, my body started failing from the damage it sustained the 4 times my heart stopped. My original cardiologist told me I would be in a wheel chair and totally dependent on others for everything by the time I'm 50; which is daunting because in March I'll be 45 and I can't deny the facts - my body is failing.

I was put on 10,000g sodium daily, water/fluid loading, Midodrine (insurance won't cover it $312 - 30 day supply), Propanolol, Pantoprazole, pain meds, suppression hose and binders as well as having to stay supine the majority of the day - which caused my heart failure to worsen and my EF (ejection fraction) to go down.

Nothing the doctor's have tried has helped, I still faint and my heart stops on a daily basis and I never know from one day to the next if something is going to trigger fluid build up and I have an acute attack.

In June 2011 I fainted falling into the side of my tiled tub, lacerating the side of my head in the process, severely sprained my neck and suffered a concussion. After that episode, I became a bit more cautious with every move I make because the dr found declining neurological functioning and mild brain damage; he said any more falls could lead to permanent major brain damage.

With so many previous medical bills and co-pays, I can't afford the 20% co-insurance to have my ICD replaced and Mayo Clinic wants a $5,000 deposit up front even with insurance. My ICD alone is $125,000, leads another $30,000 and then there's the doctor and hospital fees; which I won't know the cost until the procedure is done.

Each heart rhythm specialist and cardiologist I see tell me there is nothing more they can do after going over my history and treatments; I have a long hard fight to go and I have to just be thankful each day I'm alive. Some days I'm really glad I made it through, other days when the problems and pain take over; I wish the dr's had let me die.

I developed PTSD after the procedure, panic disorder and extreme agoraphobia. I went into such a deep depression over my health issues, I was afraid I would never see the lighter side of things again. I finally went to see a psychologist who prescribed Lamictal and diagnosed me with Bi-Polar disorder which has helped greatly but I still struggle on a daily basis.

One day we were just the “normal” every day family and the toughest thing we had to deal with is a child with Autism. Then; our whole lives changed in an instant we were dealing with mounting medical bills, expensive prescriptions, tests, appointments, loss of income and dealing with the possibility of death on a daily basis.

You just never know what the day may bring, so keep those you love close to you and never take one second for granted.
From the bottom of my heart thank you - even if it's support to say hey; I'm here if you need to talk or I know how you're feeling.

Military Family needs help

Posted by Militaryfamily on 2012-01-10 22:58:06

Hi everyone, I am asking for you help with donations to help my family. My story is one that involves a split family. It starts in 2006 when my ex-wife took my two children away to another city with out my knowledge. Being in the military I was not able to up and relocate to be close to them. Taking on the debt load from the past relationship and marinating a home for myself and children was the start of my struggle. Thru many lawyers and court appointments I received 8 days a month visitation due to the 3.5 hrs distance between us.
3 years pass and I was remarried. Due to the unfortunate loss of my father we came into an inheritance, we were able to balance out our debt and for once we felt some relief. Still with only 8 days a month we yet again went back to court to try and obtain more access in the summer. As with all messy divorces my ex was unwilling to budge and wanted no more than 2 non-consecutive weeks in the summer for access. Luckily for us we were granted a full month each year.
With that good news came notice to us that we were to be posted to the same city my children lived. Once we were posted to the same city the military deemed that I was to deploy to Afghanistan, with this came a lot of training and travel to complete this all while my wife was pregnant with our son. As I know being in the military not everything will go as planed, I missed the birth of my son. Once my rotation was complete we were able to make new attempts to have more access to my children (in the original agreement between my ex-wife and myself we agreed to a set amount for child support).
Once my ex-wife found out about us wanting to have the children 50/50 she asked for an increase in child support and put my two boys into hockey to try and burden us financially. Needless to say hockey is very expensive and with the increase in child support (equivalent to another mortgage) we started to sink into debt again. My wife was unable to work due to child care costs of over $780/month, legal bills thru the roof and a vindictive ex-wife making all attempts to keep me from my children.
As if that wasn’t enough, my lawyer was suspended from practice, my wife’s and my 19 month old has now been diagnosed as possibly having celiac disease.
To sum it up, we are left with $200 per paycheque to buy groceries, gas for the car and anything else that may come up which in turn we needed to rely on our credit cards. Trying to get my children 50/50 is at a stand still now because no lawyer will take us on unless we have $2000 as a retainer, we don’t qualify for legal aid due to the fact that on paper I make too much.
So this is why I have turned to asking for help, to regain financial stability, gain access to my children and try and provide for my 3 boys and remove the stress from my wife. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We thank you for taking the time to read this.

Family Crying Out For Help

Posted by wishthiswasntneeded on 2011-12-08 21:58:16

Family of 7 crying out for any available help.
In need of at least $1300.00. That would cover our rent that is already late. Husband lost his job in October, and we have been struggling ever since. All other necessities have been met. Have just been granted a housing voucher but that does not help this month. If we r able to meet this months obligation , that voucher would go into affect next month. dropping our rent from 1000.00 to 261.00 per month. that would be the blessing we have been asking for just one more month. Our youngest has heart issues and we do receive state help for food.our church has done what they can for our family. But there r so many in need. This has been a trying time on us and dont think becoming homeless is what these children need to go through, any ones children. God Bless & Happy Holidays

Christmas For My Brother

Posted by sweetheartsx on 2011-11-01 14:58:42

When I was younger, I was lucky enough to be around when my parents were together, had money, and doing okay-ish (granted we were still living in a horrid environment, but I still have my Barbie Talkin Town House!). My brother, who has many mental/speech issues, has not experienced Christmas but 1 in his 9 years. Dad went to nursing home w/ multiple sclerosis, mom had to run business in dangerous neighborhood, meanwhile our apartment nearby got taken because the contract expired...basically, for the next few years we financially got worse and worse. Even now, our 'stable home' is to be foreclosed.
Anyway, all I ask for is Christmas presents for him. He's a boy, so obviously guy stuff. He loves the lion king, remote control things, anything with animals. Please, please make this little boy's Christmas.

Please help our son

My son was home schooled on his last year in high school. He applied to the University of Alaska and was accepted and also was granted financial aid. Being a home school grad, he was required to take a test or GED. He opted to take the test so I agreed to send him to Alaska but he failed it by 2 points. Then he decided to take the GED and attend class Spring 2012. One day when he dropped his friends at school, he was stopped by a policeman (i don't know what for) and then was taken to the police station and detained for questioning for at least 8 hours. He asked to speak to a lawyer 2x but no lawyer was provided and they stopped talking to him. While detained, the police searched his apartment, truck, took his laptop, and cell phone. His apartment and his truck did not have any of the items they were looking for. They released him and 20 minutes later they arrested him. The only evidence the police have so far is that one of defendants also being accused of the same crime stated that my son was involved. This other defendant, come to find out has a record of stealing. My son insist that he did not do this crime and he is innocent and that he was not even in the area when the crime happened. He has an attorney now and has taken a look at my sons’ case. So far the DA has a photo of his truck at a gas station near his apartment at 6 P.M. This is not unusual since this is where buys his diesel fuel. The crime happened between 10-45-11:00 P.M. after the store closed. This is all the evidence so far. I am writing to beg you for a donation to bail out my son until his court date. We are asking donation for the following: his bail is $40,000 which we need $4000 cash and we are putting up our house as collateral for the remaining $30,000. The lawyer fee is $7500 and our balance is $2400. In addition to the bail, court also requires a third party custodian before an inmate can be released on bail. A custodian is someone who will watch over my son 24/7. My husband, daughter and I will be his third party custodians and we will fly to Alaska and set up another household. We need the 3 of us to be custodians because we also have another son who is a senior in high school and we the parents both want to attend his graduation. When we get there, we will go to my sons bond hearing and also for approval of third party custodian. My husband and I will alternate every 30 days so we can see both our sons. When my youngest son graduates, my daughter will be the custodian while we attend the graduation. We also need approximately $3500 for living expense until I get my first check from work. I have secured employment in Alaska and my son will also look for and secure employment. He has been in jail since Sept 20,2011 and we want to bail him out on Nov. 4, 2011. URGENT!!! Please help our son

Posted by beroc on 2011-10-30 20:58:00

4, 2011. Total donation we are asking for $9900.00. s Can you find it in your heart to donate money to help us?

Help me give my wife the honeymoon of her dreams

Posted by Kneecap on 2011-10-16 09:58:08

Last eleven months have been very painful to me. I've lived in uncertainty, or even fear, that I have a bad disease. The latest doctor appointment proved that I don't have it (thank god), so besides that being a huge relief for us, it also showed me that one needs to live the life that has been given, and not take it for granted. One fellow said it well, that people only appreciate health when it's taken away from them.

After getting a second chance of sorts from my doctors, I've decided that I want to make the most of it.The money received from this would go fully to fulfill mine and my wife's biggest dream. The one we're been chasing for many, many years. To visit Japan. We've always wanted to go there, and this might allow us to do so. After chasing the dream for so many years, I decided that I don't want to chase it any more. I want to have it. I want it to be reality. Life is too short and fragile to only chase dreams..

That trip will also act as our honeymoon (We've been married for almost three years now, and still haven't gotten our honeymoon...My wife says that it's totally fine, but I don't believe her. I feel like I've let her down, and that's really eating me up inside.) I want this to be the honeymoon of her dreams. I have no idea how long that will take, but I will not give up. I want this to happen :)

We are a group of asylum seekers and 20 in number who hail from different African countries. we sought asylum in Botswana between the years 1998- to 2000.the government hosted us for more than 12 years.but in April this year the government in conjuction with the UNHCR did issue us with rejection letters clearly stating that we are nolonger a concern to them.the only aid we recieve is meagre food ration and medicare but are not allowed to work.out of the 43 cases who were rejected on nunerous occassions, the government decided to re-reject us the 20 people and granted (recognition)status to the other 23 cases.

for that matter we are requesting for financial assistance to help for legal funding as we are taking the matter to court and get legal help because we do not work. for more information please do contact us on the following email address othieno.martin@yahoo.com and for further information please do contact robert on +267-75482198

Hello, I am writing this for a very dear and loving friend that is dying of stage 4 cancer. She has bone, liver, breast and lympnoid cancer. Her husband of 12 years just recently passed away with brain cancer. He left behind a lot of bills that now rest on my girlfriend. She is being tormented by bill collectors day and night. She has to take medicine to control the unbearable pain from the bone cancer and she goes every Friday to the hospital for her weekly chemo treatment. We struggle every month to pay the rent, car payment, and the normal necessities of living. Granted my girlfriend may be dying but she is still entitled to some quality of life. Please help with what you can. No donation will be refused. I can be contacted at: katmandew_56@yahoo.com thank you
