Elderly couple losing home after 36 years

Posted by ZIPPER on 2012-04-03 13:58:42

My parents are 77 years old, and they are the kindest, most giving, most loving people you will ever meet, but they are losing their home and everything because of me.

I have been disabled for 16 years and was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer two years ago. Even at their age, they have given up everything they've needed, including food and medicine, to care for me. They are losing their home of 36 years and everything else they own. It's literally killing them to go through this; they have gone down so fast. They have nowhere to go and are too old to rough it like younger people might. I live with them and will not be able to get the care I need.

They never blame me, but I feel totally responsible and the guilt is killing me. I should be taking care of them during their golden years. I have to do something to save them. I hope you understand. Please help me.

SAVE MY DOG!

Posted by SeanArc on 2012-03-29 08:58:39

Hi everyone! My name is Sean Arcand and I am 11 years old. My very bestest friend Maya is our family Golden Retriever mix and she just came back from the vet yesterday.

My mom says Maya needs surgery and her bladder is not working right. I asked my mom if Maya will have her surgery soon but Mom told me she doesn't have the money to pay for the bills.

I cried last night. All night because I knew I wouldn't see Maya for long.

Then Maya came into my room and nuzzled my tummy. I love her so much. But I know without help I will lose her.

This morning Mom told me that if I could find a way to pay for the bills then she will take Maya to the vet for a trantsplant.

The cost is $5105.

I am asking anyone out there from the bottom of my little heart to help Maya. She is the greatest friend I could ever have. When I was sick with the chicken pox she was sleeping in my bed all night and all morning looking over me.

If you have donated anything I am thanking you with all my soul for your genarosety. Thank you thank you thank you and god bless you for helping me save my bestest friend.

Education in Holistic Wellness

Posted by SpiritualStudent on 2012-01-04 05:58:16

I'm using BegsList to ask for donations to support my transition from a low-paying sales job to a meaningful career in the healing arts. I was blessed to be accepted into a highly selective program & upon graduation, I will have developed my inherent talents for holistic healing & wellness and begin serving others by offering various natural & organic-based therapies for skin issues & other ailments. While I will receive very limited loans via financial aid, they will not cover over $5000 of my tuition, not to mention living expenses. I am willing to work while in school, but would prefer to focus on my studies and offer my full energy to my clients when I begin my clinicals. I am a deeply spiritual & meditative young man who has earned a golden opportunity. I just need some help from compassionate, like-minded, & generous donors to allow my dream to manifest into reality. I am also a generous spirit who has offered many of my talents... writing, music, cooking, and others... free of charge to many people via blogging & other forums. I vow to use my education to help heal individuals, educate on holistic healing arts, & change the world in the most positive ways I possibly can. I will pay it forward. Of this, you can rest assured. If you have read thus far, thank you! You are likely a very intuitive & health-conscious individual. Please feel the energy of these words & allow my honesty, dedication to my life's purpose, & mostly your own heart- guide you in deciding whether or not to help me in the pursuit of my deepest desire: to truly be of service to others by gaining the expertise required to help them heal themselves. Thank you so much and all the Best for a Prosperous & Peaceful 2012!

I am an online student with the university of phoenix and was working as a baker for golden corral, but now I am injured with tendonitis in my right hand and have been out of work for two weeks. I am a minimum wage earner and have rarely worked a forty hour week so I had to live pay check to pay check and have been unable to save any money. Now that this has happened I am in a bind and need some help. I do not have insurance or any other means to take care of this situation with my hand especially if they require me to have surgery. I have no family here and I feel lost. Can someone please help me.

I sustained an injury from my work called tendonitis in my right hand which I am a right handed person. I have been out of work for two weeks and have been living from pay check to pay check because the pay is not all that great and I rarely have a week were I work a full forty hours. Now that I have been out of work the doctor is talking about surgery which I can not afford and the bills keep piling up.I would not be doing this except right now I have no other help or choices. I live alone in a city where I have no family I need some help please I can not afford to lose my internet connection either as school is what I am doing to have a better life for myself.I will work but my injury has put me in a situation where I can not and I do not have any insurance or anything else at the time. I never thought I would have to ask for help but at this point I do.It really hurts your pride to ask people to help but I am out of options. I no longer have a home, health insurance and money for anything.I am just trying to live and get by but unless you are experiencing all of this people just keep passing you by. I wouldn't ask if I didn't need it. I hope someone will help.

Please Help Our Family

My Wife and I are both disabled Americans. She has had a major back fusion and two knee replacements as well as some heart woes. I myself have just had my second major back surgery, I have an implantable Cardiac Defibrilator and one total knee replacement.
We are both on a very low income, myself on Social Security Disabilaty, she on School Employees Retirement Disabilaty benefits. We have a vehicle that is almost twenty years old and on its last legs.. I am certain you get many letters like this everyday but we really would like some kind of assistance. We would love to be able to move to Vermont where we can be near our children and Grandchildren as they grow and flourish into strong Americans ans be near our Parents as they live out thier golden years. I know we are asking a lot but if there is anything you can do to truly show your compassion , we will speak on every t.v. station, every radio station, make posters, whatever it takes. To show our thanks and support. We're begging you.
The state of Ohio in its infinite wisdom is considering stopping paying my Medicare part b and take away my medicaid because we, "make too much gross income" by the time we pay all our bills we have maybe 50.00 left to last an entire month.
My Wifes Information::::
I was Married to a very wonderful man for 31 years. He developed heart disease and diabetes. He fought valiently but finaly succomed to the medical problems. I became very sad and was almost at the brink of a mental breakdown. I did become involved with the local Greif Counseling service as this helped me to ease my burden a small amount. I began talking to this nice fellow on Pogo.com which is an online gaming site where one may play all sorts of games such as Solitare etc. We hit it off and began internet dating in August of 2008. We arranged to meet in November and upon viewing each other we knew the bond we had felt over the air was a real bond and Leo dropped to his knees and askeed me to Marry him. We married a week later in November of 2008 and have been together ever since. Since than we have both become quite medically burdened ourselves, Leo has a thing called Sudden Cardiac death Syndrome and has had to have had an Automatic Implantable Cardiac Defibrilator instaled recently. We both suffer from back woes and must seek care frequently. Now we do have a 1996 Chevy Blazer that runs when it feels like it, the airconditioner is broken and what with being in the Midwest is very hot to have to drive around with the windows down. A computer part that costs 1500.00 for the A.B.S. system is out and we just can not afford to fix it. We love the vehicle as it was my first ever fully owned vehicle from a bank loan in my life. If We appreciate everything we have and are greatful for both this site and for all the kindness of others. Please vote for us and we shall make certain to pay it forward with our own kindness and see to it that others are blessed as we are. Thank you for reading and for helping out anyway you can.
My Information::::
My Wife and I will be Married for three years on November 28th.We met in late July or early August of 2008. She had just lost her husband of 31 years. I was myself looking for a somewhat different lifestyle than I was in currently. I was living at home at over 40, disabled with a moderate spinal disease and more or less going nowhere. Debbie and I hit it off right away and we were engaged in October and Married in November. We each have been each others rock and best friend and companion. I have since went into the Ministry and have undertaken many courses towards helping others to live as good a life as possible. Debbie is a great personal loss counselor in her own right. I recently became a heart patient and have had to have an Automatic Implantable cardiac defibrilator installed in my upper chest which has a built in pace maker. All this at only the age of 49.Debbie has had to have undergone major back surgery herself and have screws and cages ut into her lower back. This makes us totaly disabled yet we both have a teriffic outlook on life and are always willing to help others. Life is what you make it, not a series of bad events that bring you down. We both appreciate each day given unto us and are so greatful for all our friends, family, and fellow searchers of lifes Grace. If we were chosen to receive a New SUV as we live in snowy Ohio and may move to new England to be closer to some family we would make certain that it was put to good use and everyone would know the generosity of others. I can only hope as this as well as the other stories here on this site may touch you a small amount and you shall favor us with kindness. God Bless Everyone. Thank You All. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful friends and supporters here. We appreciate everything people are doing and sending all the wonderful messages. God Bless You all.

$300 and a Laptop

resortformymobilehomies.blogspot.com (click tabs for The Goal, Funding the Project and How Can I Help for more info.).

After years of study and hands-on experience I truly have The Goose That Lays the Golden Eggs.

However, in order to fund the Goose, I need to start by trading the Forex. Because of the leverage involved and my system that will limit my risk, I can start this venture with only $300 and a laptop.

I am currently homeless and tonight we are expecting a low of 17 degrees in Colorado Springs. Since I don't drink or do drugs I can take advantage of the emergency shelter locally.

However, many others are not so fortunate. They need help in ways that they are not currently receiving. Many of the homeless have animals, and for that reason alone, they are unable to use the shelter.

Others are like I used to be when I first started going through this ordeal. They are still in their cars and purposely avoid association with the homeless who are not mobile. They may still be working, receiving a government check or nothing at all.

Help Me Help Them by funding my forex trading venture.

What can you expect in return? Your help will not be in vain. If you read the blog you will be able to see the type of person I am (warts and all). I have tried everything from looking for full-time employment, working day labor which is no longer an option because of physical reasons and flying a sign on the side of the interstate.

In addition to the immediate help you provide me, you can also know that you have helped thousands of others in Colorado alone.

Aspiring Peace Singer In Struggle...

Posted by clarissasue on 2011-09-16 23:58:32

Hi I don't know what to say...
I am a golden hearted girl trying to make a stand in the world.
I have a peace song dedicated to the Vets,Cultures,Children,Broken and Bruised of the World.
I have put my heart into standing up for my beliefs and people who have been hurt. I have lost people who I thought were my friends because I caught them hurting a child. This has hurt my heart greatly. I want to be an inspirational person. I want to help further empower people to be themselves {to thine ownself be true} I have overcome obstacles such as molestation and abuse myself to help these other people. I need just $2,000 to get a vehicle to be free of my familys negativity and control so that I can travel south and put my faith and energy into a dream. It is so important that I get out of here. Its actually a desperate situation I am in. I am surrounded by lots of people abusing substances and being emotionally abusive themselves. My own family is racist and rich but won't help me because they percieved my peace song to be an "anti-bush anthem" its alot of heartbreak and i feel if i could just get away from them and be with the people of the world-then my own heart could finally be at peace....

Guilty until proven innocent

Posted by innocent on 2011-09-04 07:58:52

Hello;

I am a widower with three, nearly adult children who are poised to enter the world. By this I mean they are older from late teens to early twenties. Any of you who know of this age, understand what I mean. They are adult/children - immature, but on the verge of their launch into the world. They are living through a horror with me, and they do not deserve it.

We are currently living a nightmare. Since the middle of the summer, I have been the victim of a stalker/harasser. Because of the nature of the legal battle upon which I am about to embark, I cannot give the details here. In an ironic and horrifying twist of fate, my harasser has turned the tables and filed very serious, and VERY FALSE criminal charges against me. And, unless, I fight them aggressively, with the best legal help I can find for this type of case, I will be found guilty and incarcerated for crimes I did not commit. Lawyers tell me that this type of thing happens more often than any decent, law abiding citizen would think.

That said, the cost of this defense is staggering and far beyond the means of anyone in my family. So, what I am asking for is twofold.

1. Financial support
2. Legal help

I have heard that when asked, inmates always claim innocence. And certainly, in a venue like this, there is nothing I can say to convince a stranger that I am innocent. All I can say is that I AM and that the injustice being perpetrated against me is nothing short of horrifying. The one thing I am guilty of is bringing this monster into my life and impacting my loved ones in a way nobody should experience.

The legal expense has been estimated at upwards of $100k. Yes, $100k. Almost every legal authority with whom I have spoken express great concern for the seriousness of the situation but they also believe it can be overcome with the appropriate defense.

I have lived a good life and have always practiced the golden rule. I love people and people have always been drawn to me.

If there is anyone who can provide material, spiritual or legal help, please write me. I am very scared and face legal deadlines at the end of this month.

Best,
confidential

Desperately need assistance as I have had an emergency repair that depleted my checking and my rent is due in a few days, along with electric and phone. I just need $360 to cover the rent, and everything should be golden..otherwise my 12 year old son and I will be evicted. I am a hardworking single mom who is also going back to school to make things better, but this repair came up in between paydays...and I am desperate for help!

Please someone, anyone, have it in your heart to help...

Need rent or getting evicted

Posted by jozhkun on 2011-07-26 16:58:01

I am going desperate here but I have completely run out of options here. I need to make rent of 850 and asap or me and my family will be evicted within the week. I dont want my fiancee and 3 month old daughter to be homeless. I have looked into all the local charities and rental assistance programs and everyone is out of funds. I lost my job about two months ago and as everyone knows the economy plus it being summer makes finding a new job next to impossible. Thankfully my fiancee has found a job selling insurance and so in about a month we will be golden and able to finally catch up with all of our bills. If I can get just this little bit of help we will get back on our feet. Thank you and God bless.

I am almost dead and need help soon...

Hey everyone, I'm a 23 year old student in San Francisco, California. I moved here on my own to go to college with some savings. I'm taking classes at City College of San Francisco with hopes of transferring to Golden Gate University later on.
I'm originally from Virginia, and when I left home to follow my heart, I didn't realize life in the westcoast was very expensive and on top of that there's budget cuts in education so no financial aid for me?? I do work part time and I've been trying to apply for a second job with no luck for almost one year!
I pay my bills on time, but my diet is horrible. I think sodium from all those Ramen noodles may kill me one day, hopefully after I graduate at least. I'm dying to have a taste of any other food besides Ramen, so any donations I will thank you every meal I get to eat. Thanks again guys, have a good day.

Hi, college student paying for herself in need

Posted by bellawhite on 2011-03-23 02:58:01

Hi, I'm a college student paying for myself because my family can't afford it. I used to have a part time job at a small coffee shop near my school but it closed down thus I'm jobless. My tuition has been piling up since last school year and my principal has been only nice to me and that if I don't pay the $500 before April, she's going to have to reconsider my enrolment next year. With the job I lost, I was also helping my family pay for groceries, rent, and other bills but now that I don't have it anymore, my family and i have been at a loss about what we're going to do. My parents told me that I should focus on paying my tuition fee. I've been going to laundry rooms trying to look for pennies, i've emptied all my piggy banks, i've asked help from relatives but got no response. I'm swallowing my pride by asking but a little dollar would do, I promise you good karma will come your way I'm just begging. i can't afford to let go of my education because I know that it's education that will eventually save me from this hole so whoever has a golden heart out there if you could send me a dollar or two i would appreciate it very much.

God Please Help Save Our Home!!!

Hello,I have never been so helpless in all my life, I have 2 beautiful girls ages 2 and 7 and have lost my job. I was laid off of a job that paid $9.00 an hour but my ESC benefits are based on my former job as a waitress at Golden Corral which paid $2.13 an hour so my weekly unemployment check is a grand total of $92.00! I have just applied for a federal grant to go back to school to better myself and my daughters lives, which thankfully was approved immediently based on my poverty status at the moment. My beg at the moment is to please find someone who is willing to help catch up my mortgage payments to save our family home. My vehicle was repoed at 2:30 in the morning 2 weeks before Christmas and an ANGEL in my family helped me get my vehicle back but they are not able to help anymore and I cannot bring myself to ask them again! My notice of default on my mortgage is $1,117.17. If you are able to help I can provide documents to show you that this is a legit request or I could provide you the info to call VANDERBILT MORTGAGE or give you the money gram or western union info to pay the payment directly. I have tried social services and community action and they are both completely out of funds the only thing they are able to help with is utility bills. Thank You for reading my request and even if you are unable to help please keep myself and my two girls in your prayers...GOD BLESS!

My parents are both deaf,do not read lips, nothing can be heard or spoken. Both have retired from many years of work & side jobs to make ends meet. They both worked hard to provide for themselves & children, through the years always were happy to help my brother and i when we needed.having retired they struggle to pay their bills each month. With so many hardships being deaf in a world of hearing my parents never used that as an excuse they made their own way.they are 70 now and have spent these golden years sitting at home every day only dreaming of taking a cruse or seeing another part of this world as their time is running short.
Please help me to give them just one dream -to travel somewhere to see what a beautiful world we all live in before they have to leave me,please

Happy Anniversary Honey

Posted by builder on 2010-11-03 12:58:58

Two weeks before our 35th wedding anniversary my wife announced that she was not happy and was leaving me. I have spent lifetime in the construction industry and due to the current recession and my ripe old age of 60 I have been out of work for more than a year.

Two week after our anniversary my best friend Edgar (9 yr old Golden Retriever) was diagnosed with cancer and died six weeks later. The next week my wife moved out.

I pray for ALL of us everyday but the everyday bills just keep building.

As I read through the Categories list I guess I just need to check all of the above.

Thanks and God bless
Hello Friends!
My name is Joshua L., I am a 22-year old struggling student trying to afford continuing my own education in the 2010 Fall School year while also paying for the often pricey school clothes of my constantly growing 5-year old twins. I have to admit I was hesitant at first to post this request but me & my girlfriend have been struggling to make ends meet for the past 6 months. We have sold all of our valuable possessions in order to pay for food, living expenses & generally other necessities for survival without being able to provide our children with gifts for their golden-5th birthday's. We both lost our jobs working for a company which has sincerely questionable ethics and both of our first amendment rights as well as my girlfriend's nineteenth amendment rights were violated. We have been denied unemployment, county assistance and even help from our families for their own financial struggles. We tried to sell plasma, etc and were denied for our lack of documentation due to recent eviction. I am not going to ask for any specific amount of cash because anything would help or be appreciated.

Thanks again for any financial contributions & prayers-

J.L. & family
