I have just received a notice that my landlord will have me evicted because I am late on my rent. I'm 14 days late. I've been managing to make ends meet but I haven't been able to find a job and my previous employer has went out of business after working there for 5 years. I have filled out so many applications, made phone calls, physically went in to speak with a manager and still no luck. I go to every job, career, or hiring fair I can and still nothing. I paid my April rent and had nothing left but $17 in my pocket. I bought rice and beans and that's all I've eaten for the past month. I only eat 1 meal a day because I can't afford to eat anything more. My light are off because I couldn't pay it. I've sold everything I think is of value...my laptop, my tv, my phone, and any expensive clothing items I owned (which were gifts). I'm 20 years old and my parents can't help, they are bankrupt as of 6 months ago. This about sums it up. We did great for years and have been kicked in the face repeatedly by life. I'm about to get it back together with a new job and 50,000 shares of a new tech company about to be publicly traded on pink sheets.

Unfortunately, that's not soon enough for our landlords and we have received a notice to pay or leave in 3 days (Wednesday, May 17 would be the date).

The video sums it up, as I said. We put love and light into the world. We don't sit around and soak up resources. This is really bad. We could lose everything we have, which isn't very damn much. We'd still have each other, but just a world of heartbreak.

Hi, Im a married father of 4 great kids. We live in up state SC. I found this and thought I would give it a try. We live a simple life. We dont have a cable bill, or a car payment. We drive older cars with over 200K miles. (I do most all my own repairs) We only go out to eat on birthdays. We dont go to movies. So you can see we save where ever possible. Having 2 kids in college is a real stretch to our finances. Sometimes you have to take 3 steps back in order to jump 4 ahead, correct? It seems as though I've been jumping backwards and have yet to come forward.

I've made certain decisions in my life that were for the best for me and my two sons. I knew that my financial situation would change once I divorced my husband, but I didn't think it will ever get this bad. No matter how hard I try to get out of debt, it seems as though I will always be in it. Times like this, I wish I could turn back the hands of time and do some thing different in my life. I'm usually not the one to ask for a handout or anything for that matter. But I don't think I can continue to go backwards while my sons have to suffer.

All I ask is for someone to help me clear my present debt so I can get my CREDIT back on track. I have a job...in school...but my CREDIT is keeping me from going to great levels. Please help! I am going to India with a group of people to work with some in kids in a very poor area of the country. Most of my cost is already covered, but I am short $1000. I need to have the final payment by January 16th in order to finalize my airfare or I lose the $2000 I have already paid. And I don't expect anyone to set up orphanage and help poor widows with monies I have and my last dying breath you will take over. PS this is not from Nigeria..

My MS has taken much from me. I can't walk--I use a wheelchair and now I use a hoyer lift to get from bed to wheelchair. I've been considered completely disabled for a decade. I am a hungarian artist who is creating beautiful artworks from recyclable materials. I never throw away any newspapers, flyers, advertisement papers because I try to recycle all of that. I am creating wonderful objects, gifts and even sculptures from paper mache. This is a very versatile material, very strong and durable objects can be made from it. It is suitable not just for creating artworks, but even for creating everyday-use objects. Not to speak of that the use of recycled materials helps to save our environment.

My plan is that I am going to establish a workshop. I would like to make a living by working as an independent paper mache artist. But I need a little help for it. As a matter of fact my financial situation is not too good and I do not have enough money to start my own workshop. I have to rent a workshop space, I have to buy a lot of paints, lacquers and glues. So I need an initial push to start this project.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I am ashamed to be on here asking for help, but I don't know what else to do. I am in the position of having my gas and electric disconnected due to being in the hospital inpatient 2 times in the last 2 months for a massive kidney infection. I spent Christmas in the hospital, and almost spent Thanksgiving as well. I tried to set up payment arrangements with my utility companies, but they're not very lenient, or caring for that matter. I have tried to get help from any community action agencies or the Red cross, but they are out of funds due to the amount of unemployed in Indiana. I just don't want to loose my gas and electric in the winter with 3 boys. I don't know how to explain to them that we wouldn't have any gas to keep warm, and electric for the lights and to cook. I would not ask that the money come to me. I would provide the companies that I have my utilities thru, and any information that would be needed to help. Any help would be appreciated more than you know. And, if the person who helps happens to live in Indiana, I would be more than willing to do whatever work my body would allow, like cleaning house, helping with church events, anything. I am just unable to work right now due to the chronic issues with my kidney. But, the bills don't stop, and the companies want and deserve the money for the electric/gas that I have used. I normally am able to keep up with my bills, I just didn't expect to get sick, and for so long. November I was inpatient for 4 days, and never fully recovered. So, on the 22nd, I was put inpatient and didn't get released until the 26th, so my kids opened their gifts in my hospital room. It was still an amazing Christmas, family is what makes a holiday, it doesn't matter where you are as long as you're together. I know there are so many people on here, so I have no idea if my beg will even be read. But, I have been in the hospital 2 times since November 19th, for 4-5 days each stay for a massive kidney infection and klebsellia pneumonia in the kidney. My last stay was from Dec. 22nd, to the 26th. (yes, i spent Christmas in the hospital, so my kids opened gifts in my hospital room). Due to the chronic infections, I haven't been able to work. I don't qualify for any financial assistance from the state, and I am behind on my rent. I am in jeopardy of losing my home, because it's a month to month lease. I have a mortgage as well, as i own a modular home. My rent is 230.00 a month, and the mortgage is 258.88, which keeps me at 500.00 a month. I have 3 boys, and they don't deserve to have the worry of losing their home. I am scared and don't know what to do. I have contacted all the community action agencies in my county and surrounding areas. They are all out of funds due to the amount of people out of work. All I know is that I can't loose my lot. If I don't pay my rent, I will be kicked out, and have to move my double wide. That will also cost money I don't have. I am more than willing to give whoever would offer to help me the name, address, and contact information for where I pay my rent. That way the money would go directly to the company, not to me. I am a single mother of three children. A son 10 years old and two teenage girls. Since i dont have a job I cant get a loan because right now I have no ways to pay it back. I really don't have any family members except for my mom who it older and barely gets by on her social security. I cant move in with her because she lives in a senior community and is not allowed. My daughter has been desperately looking for a job as well as myself but no one will hire us, I so desperately dont want to end up in a shelter or have my kids living out of our car. This has been a very sad experience for not only myself but for my children. This was the first Xmas I was not able to give my children any gifts but thankfully they understand. I pray that I will get through these bad times soon. I never expected that I would have to ask for money this way but I have no other choice right now. Thanks for considering my story and any help is greatly appreciated.

To anyone who reads this, I want you to know that I am ashamed to be doing this but I have no where else to turn. My family has endured some hardships this year that now is resulting in the loss of our home of 17 years. My husband and I lost our evcavating business that we owned and operated for the last 16 years due to the housing market here in Florida. Then on aster Sunday, our 16 year old son was in a motorcycle accident that put him in the hospital for over a month, he endure 5 operations and had half of his left foot amputated. He is coming along, but it has been tough. Our daughter and her 3 children now live with us also and their deadbeat father pays nothing toward their support. We have been unable to even buy Christmas gifts this year. On top of everything else, my husband is very ill and in and out of the hospital and to ill to keep a job much less even find one. I am the only income at this time, and we have fallen behind on our mortgage because of all of this. Our lender has given us until Dec. 28th to come up with the past due payments of 1435.00 or they are defaulting our loan. This is the second time this year that this has happened! I am asking anyone who has the means to help, to please find it in your heart to help us, we will be out on the streets, we have nothing left to sell and our credit is ruined. I don't know what else to do. I can only promise that I will help someone else as soon as I am able to.Please, Dear God, send me an angel, I am beside myself with worry. Christmas will come again next year for the children, our home is the best gift that we can all receive. God Bless you all!1

Hi I am struggling as I owe a garage $600.00 as they fixed my car and I am totally diabilled due to cancer and I have had it rough lately as I had one hip replacement due to radiation and recently got my 2nd one. This time around my hip has given me trouble. I have exausted money for gas to travel to get to doctors and again I only get so much a month and I already paid the garage $300. to release my car back to me. I had to borrow money off my neighbor for house supplies. I can't even due my laundry. I wanted to due christmas but I have no money to buy my son gifts. I live alone and just asking help for my car if possible. Thank you

I am at the end of my rope and dont know where else to turn. Christmas is in a few days and I dont have anything for my kids, not even Christmas dinner. I do not have a full time job but I thought I could do some freelance work here and there. But I barely made $20. My kids are ages 19 and 11. I know Christmas isnt about gifts but I was hoping to at least get each of them a little something. I also tried signing up for a food basket but I missed the deadline. I am in a desperate situation. I am a single father raising my 4 year old daughter. My daughter has ALL it is a form of leukemia. This is so hard for me to beg for help but i am doing the best i can to give my angel the best christmas i possibly can. financially right now i am struggling barely making ends meet. with my daughters health i am constantly paying for medication and driving hours away for appointments. i work full time but at 8 dollars an hour and it just isnt cutting it anymore. i have watched my angel be in so much pain and i just want this to be a really good christmas for her. i wouldnt be begging if i was able to make ends meet. i am at a tough spot where i either i lose the car that i am driving or i buy her gifts. i cant afford to lose the car i have because i rely on that to get her back and forth to doctor appointments. this makes me feel really bad about myself doing this but i really need some help. i just want to do this for my daughter so she has something to look forward too. Any kind of donation will help im not asking for alot im just asking for what ever you can so i can make my princess smile. help me, help her smile. please and thank you so much.what ever money that i dont use i will redonate to this site and others in need
