My 1997 Chevrolet has stopped running. I overpaid $2700.00 for it, and now to fix it, it will cost more than it's value. I live far away from my job where I just started working this week after looking for work for more than four months. So in a nutshell, I'm completely broke.

I decided that the safest route to go would be to buy a scooter, as they're more convenient, there's less likely for something to go wrong, and they're cheaper and better on gas. However, I have absolutely no money to buy one, and since I have no vehicle or transportation what so ever, I won't be able to make it to work, and this will only make my situation worse.

I have found some very nice used scooters for $500 on craigslist nearby. I would so incredibly grateful if you could help me with this $500 and I will have NO problem paying you back $100 or more a month via. paypal until I have paid you off. I can't take out a loan because I'm only 20 and haven't developed enough credit to do so (trust me, I've been down that route).

If you do this for me, I will be able to get to work, by groceries, and keep on going until things get better for me. Also, I was recently accepted into Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and a scooter would be perfect for getting around a place like that.

That's all I need, just $500. I'll pay you back monthly, I'll also give you any information you need in order to prove to you that I'm good for it. I can even set up a contract (if need be) stating that I WILL pay off said vehicle by a certain date. Anything you give will help. I'll be extremely grateful for any amount you send and put it all towards a new mode of transportation so I can make it to work.

I've been living in my car for a few weeks now.. I was laid off awhile back and now I don't have a single cent to my name. I am out of gas money, I don't know where to go.. I've had to pass up interviews because I had nothing suitable to wear. I use a cell phone that was paid 3 months in advance by a friend. Her mom won't let me stay with them, any family I do have is so far away, and they can't afford to bring me to them either. I am 18 years old, a girl. I graduated highschool, I can't go to college yet obviously. I get so terrified at night in my car. I am asking for money to buy gas, and go to a thrift shop to buy some clothes. I live of food bank food.. only some of it though, most perishes. Please help!

I want to use the money either for gas and clothes, or to go back home to live and find a job there..

I am in much financial bondage right now as my rent is very late, and ALL of my bills are late. My utilities are going to be shut off shortly, etc. I was just hired by 3 different agencies but I don't begin working until Mid-June. I only have a couple dollars to my name, which i'm trying to stretch for gas to get to interviews.

My bank account is in the red, so I have a large hole to climb out of before I can even pay my bills. I desperately need assistance to survive until I receive my first paychecks. Thank you so much!

I find myself embarrassed as I am typing this note. I am a mother of three boys who has been out of work for over 2 years. Every day I beg agencies for work, any type of work! I post my resume and apply for jobs every morning. I owe income tax money, college money, private school tuition, mortgage, gas and electric and the list goes on and on. I sell on eBay and try my b.set every day just to wake up depressed feeling like a failure. I have been abused for years and am loosing my mind. I know you may find this difficult to believe but this is a true story! Any help at all possible would be greatly appreciated!!!!! I hate needing to do this, but I need help. I'm looking everyday for a job, while my 9 year old is in school. I take my 4 year old with me because I can't afford a sitter. We walk because I don't have gas money (it'll be repossessed soon, anyway).
I got my eviction notice yesterday. My cable, internet, and phone are all shut off. Electricity will be any day, now. I'm broke and struggling. I don't know what to do, but I'm trying. Please...if you can help.

I'm on bended knee asking for a very small sum of money, $5.00. I work as a produce assistant at a grocery store. I drive an older car with terrible gas mileage.

I'm in need $5.00 so I can buy enough gas to get to work in the morning. Once I'm there, I can pick up my pay and buy gas for the ride home.

I would be so appreciative if someone could just provide me with a few dollars to put gas in my car.

This is my last chance, if I'm unable to show to work again, I will lose my job. I've never missed work for any reason other than not having the funds for gasoline.

My boyfriend is a 36 year old disabled veteran. He has regular doctors appointments every week. The drive is a 4 hour round trip for each appointment. If he has to miss an appointment because we can't afford the gas it takes months to reschedule it(the VA medical system is busy). Please help me pay for gas to take him to and from his appointments.Thank you to anyone who helps.

Help!! My husband was scheduled to deploy and did not. During this time he was receiving payment from his regular job and the Army. Long story short, his regular job miscalculated his leave and began taking money back through his current pay. Luckily, he saved some of it. We were repairing household things such as leaky roof, bathroom, etc. we are now in dire straits as his income has been sliced in half and we have depleted our savings. I only need about 500 dollars for our light and gas bill which will be disconnected if I do not pay on the 21st. Please help I have a small child and do not want him to suffer without electricity.

I am a mother of 4, and usually I bartend 3 or 4 nights a week, but the kids dad is out of the home right now for legal reasons. He has always stayed home because of my late hours and 2 of our children have health issues, but now I can't work and he can't find a job. We are out of resources and I need money for bills and gas, even toilet paper at this point. I have never posted here before but I am hoping all these years of helping others might be returned... I am a psych student but my loans are still a ways off and it isn't much with 4 kids. At this point anything would be much appreciated. :)

I am a soon to be student. I have a part time job but with gas money and bills i have barely anything saved. Ive also just bought my first car which took all the savings i had before. Finacial aid will help little especially when getting my books wont be covered and the drive to college will eat up more gas. Im not asking for much. Even just a dollar. Please help.

I am a 23 year old mother, with a wonderful husband and beautiful 5 year old son. My husband and I have always worked hard to give our son the things that he has needed. Here lately, we have hit a rough spot in our income and are in dire need of financial assistance. We are currently living off 268 dollars a week in unemployment, and cannot cover our bills. We are both full time students and are having a hard time finding new jobs in this economy. Our rent alone is 650 which after that has been paid, leaves barely enough to cover food and household items, let alone the water, gas, and light bill. We are looking for ANY financial assistance. Hi I am a mom of 3 children, 1 a special needs child. I work as a nurse assistant but it only covers about half of our needs. I work hard and do my best every day and try to keep a smile and a good attitude but sometimes your best just isn't good enough. My special needs baby is 8 years old and is speech impaired, deaf in one ear, severely asthmatic, and has ADHD. Medicaid pays for most of the meds and specialists but not all. I pay for some of his meds and specialists and then there's the gas to go to and from. All in all I'm spending about $800 per month that medicaid is refusing. I haven't been able to get an answer why as of yet. I've applied for social security for him but have been denied twice and now am awaiting a hearing which I am told could be anywhere between 18 and 21 months just to get a hearing date. I only make about $1500 per month so simple things like even a trip to the laundromat is a challenge. Apart from my son's problems I also have 2 baby girls aged 9 and 6 to take care of. Thanks be to God they are healthy. All of my family has passed away due to various forms of cancer so it's just my children and my husband and self. He is out of a job presently and has been seeking work since being laid off from his last job (about 7 months). I have applied for a pell grant and registered for LPN classes at the local community college to try to help myself but it will take about 15 months to finish school let alone get a job. I've managed to pay rent but am 2 months behind on the internet bill (used for school) am 5 months behind in car payments and am at risk of a repo any day. If I lose my car then how am I going to be able to go to work,school, take the kids to school, take the kids to the doctor,grocery shop, do laundry, or anything else? I currently do not have auto insurance because I can't afford it.(was cancelled for nonpayment 2 days ago.) I managed to pay my water and cell(about $100) to keep that going. I am almost a month behind on my electricity but have managed to keep it going by paying about half the bill per month. As of now, I have a balance of $150. I don't know what to do. If anyone would please help us I would be forever grateful and appreciative.

Hello, I've never done this before but, I'm desperate.
I'm 19 years old and my family is going through a divorce, my mother never furthered her education and has been a house wife for the entire 20 years they have been married and simply supported my dad and all his pursuits.

When I turned 18 my dad left for a gas station woman he'd known for maybe a total of a few months. Let me state he tried to have an affair with her, it wasn't till my mother confronted him that he said he wanted a divorce; My dad is a repeated cheat, I was never aware of this till the day he left, then all the lies came out of the closet.

We run a small chimney sweep business, the office is located at my mother's as she sets the appointments. She does not receive a pay check because during their marriage it was easier on taxes, they have decided to keep it this way and instead dad just covers the bills.

Now the business is great in the winter but we are in spring now and as you may already know no one uses their fireplace in the middle of warm weather! No they go outside and have bonfires. Now my dad is going blind due to diabetes and simply cannot work, we have hired a friend to do the jobs now while my dad just tells them what needs to be done and oversee's the work to the best of his ability. However, his reputation of leaving his wife and daughter for a woman he barely knows has
gotten around and I've heard the clients say they don't want business from a man like that.
My dad also wants to spend money we do not have, he is trying to sell an old sports car so we can put another work truck on the road, we don't have enough work to keep the one truck going we most certainly can't afford the regular expenses of another! My parent's can't even afford to legally divorce, and he want's a new truck. The one he has is fine, I don't understand why he won't use that money for bills.

Now any money I earn myself I have to give to my parents to help alleviate the burden of the bills, but what I contribute is not enough and now we have received the nasty call from the mortgage that they are foreclosing. While I hand all my savings to my parents can't save for my education, and being homeless will make it almost impossible. I've no famly or friends to turn to and we do not have a shelter here. I'm under the age of 24 so I cannot get any financial aid for school without a legal guardian to sign for me, and my parents refuse to think realistic; When I ask them what are we going to do? they say "Winning the lottery is the only thing that can save us." They have lost hope, I understand things are bad... but is it so bad that they can't help me get financial aid?

We currently need $136,000 to pay the house completely off, I'd love to have that, if you find it in your heart to give us our home I'd never be able to forget it. I'd be forever grateful and I'd love to return the favor someday so please feel free to give me an e-mail to contact.

Hi I am a single mother going through a tough divorce, a victim of domestic violence. I have had to start my life over after losing everything. The last 2 years have been really tough and it's very hard to recover in this economy and tough job market. I really need some help to pay my back rent upcoming rent as well as some traffic/court tickets so that I might have some breathing room. I have some ideas for a new business too but I couldn't even fathom in that venture until I can catch up and start to save a little. Food/gas is always tight every pay period so it makes it hard to survive. Is there anyone out there to help me?

I am a 25 year old who is married with a daughter. My family has hit a difficult spot where we cant pay our bill. My husband has lost his job now for 3 months. We live in a studio appartment and would really like to be able to move into a two bedroom house, so our dauhter could have her own room. We have stacks of bills that has not been paid simple because we can't afford it. our council tax and gas bill has been over due for 6 month. This situation has become a nightmare! I am 65 retired and slightly disabled due to a auto accident over a year ago. I have a hard time walking and this has me house bound most of the time. My wife is recovering from a stroke and taking care of her needs is a full time job. We barely exist on a meager social security income and several months ago I was forced to take out a payday loan just to keep the lights on. We maxed out our small credit card just to buy food and gas for our car and now every month we pay off the loan plus finance charges and then we have to take the loan out again the next day or else we cant pay our bills and buy food. With the credit card used up we have no where to turn for help. I know there are many who need help more than us, but if some kind person could lend a helping hand we will be able to pass the favor on to someone else in turn.
